I ordered the pork egg fu young, crab Rangoon, and the tofu yakisoba. The egg fu yung were more like fritters than an omelette. They were generous with the pork but you only get two omelettes. The gravy it came with was too thick and salty as well. I ordered it with lo mein and it was legit spaghetti noodles cooked in soy sauce. We both had the combo dinner : the first combo was sesame chicken, orange chicken, and Szechuan beef. Hubs had the sesame chicken, orange chickenb and general tso chicken. Kwangs is our Sunday take out go to. There food is always reliable and good. Nothing bad to say about this place at all.

We just moved to the area and are still in our hotel awaiting our house. We have ordered from here at least once a week and have never been disappointed. They deliver on to JBLM and have been absolutely amazing to us! Do remember to plan ahead, they cook everything fresh to order so if they tell you "1 - 1 1/2 hours" it will be 1 1/2. Also, it's worth the wait. We have been ordering to feed a family of 5 and have not paid more than $60 total, and still have enough leftover for the next day! I will update with pictures! I haven't been in person to the restaurant, so I can't speak to that. Fried rice had a great flavor. Added green onion. Bbq pork didn't taste fresh, almost like it was frozen and thawed out.

There are 2 things you need to know about Kwangs Palace..... 1. There is going to be a 1 hour (at least) wait to have your food delivered. 2. Its worth the wait! We have ordered from here many times and it has always been a good experience for the most part until now. We ordered $100 in food and found black hair in the food that definitely didnt belong to us. (We have very light colored hair) it seems as though the quality of kwangs over the past year has deteriorated. Personally, this has been the best Chinese delivery restaurant I've experienced (so far). I've tried the other Chinese delivery services and they were terrible. I can see why people disliked this Chinese restaurant though. I believe it's because the way Kwang's cook their Chinese food. It's sweeter. The rice is more "Korean styled rice" than "Chinese rice". The broccoli beef is sweet and the beef tastes like bulgogi meat. The lo mein combination is good! It's sweeter than normal Lo mein I've tried. General Tso chicken doesn't taste like General Tso but it's not breaded like crazy (like some places). Overall, it all tastes pretty good to me. So if you dislike sweet, you'd regret ordering from here. If you want Chinese food like New York Chinese food, you wouldn't want to order from here. If you're starving and need Chinese food delivered ASAP, you don't wanna order from here. Because it took an hour and 45 minutes for my order to be delivered. We ordered crab Rangoon, General Tso chicken, lo mein and beef broccoli. The older lady who delivered carried the food in an insulated bag. So the food came hot! It just takes forever to be delivered. So out of all the Chinese delivery restaurants that come through JBLM, this has been the best one we've discovered. I am SO confused about all the bad reviews . We ordered Kwangs through Doordash last night for dinner and everything was absolutely delicious! It did take about 15 minutes longer than our estimated delivery time, but everything was SUPER hot and fresh when we received it. I'm okay with waiting extra time for food if it's because it was cooked to order... All the food had so much flavor and it wasn't at all greasy like most Chinese places. The hot and sour soup was amaaaazing! It was definitely one of the best hot and sour soups I've ever had. You also can't beat the price for the amount of food you get. Delicious! We came for an early dinner and the food was phenomenal. We shared several of the menu options. Crab Rangoon , egg drop soup, bbq pork, pot stickers and sauce, spring rolls with sweet and sour sauce, sesame chicken, cashew chicken and shrimp lo mein. The Korean spare ribs were so good too! I was pleasantly surprised that my delivery took about 25 minutes although I was told an hour and 15 minutes. I ordered the wonton soup and egg rolls. I wasn't overly excited by either however I love egg rolls with the red pork chunks in the middle and these aren't that kind of egg roll. They did taste okay, just not my preference. My friend ordered the chicken noodle soup and she said it was really good! The wontons in my soup were retry soggy and falling apart and there wasn't much meat in them at all. The food here is decent, we have been ordering from them for about a year, but today they got greedy. I always ask for fried rice instead of white and it has never been an issue, today they charged me an extra 2.75 per entree for fried rice. Also, they never put enough sauce on their food and it ends up being pretty dry so I ask for extra sauce, never a problem but today they want to charge an extra 1.00. This is the last time I will ever order from them, and I will tell everyone we know how greedy this place is, and although the food is ok, it is not worth an extra 6.50 to get it the way i have always gotten it in the past. read more
