Well, the wife and I came in and we had chicken fried rice has shrimp and ham and simply delicious. Then we had the summer rolls which are my wife's favorite we get them every time we come you get two spring rolls and then you get a peanut sauce or a little dab of Sriracha and then some peanuts on top made simply well. The nice part is it comes from the walk in the kitchen all the way to the table, hot and fresh! The service isn't much you go up to the counter take the order they deliver the food and then they clean the tables, but there's not a lot of interaction that way, but it serves a purpose and for last they're extremely friendly in ordering and then when they bring it to your table and then the decor is kind of unique they have hats on the wall and just nicely decorated that's why we enjoyed it so much so take a chance and come check out Pho for lovers down in Richardson off Renner Rd buy the Whole Foods! read more

We came here since it was closest to our hotel. It is conveniently located near CVS and other stores. Nice generous proportion of food. Also nice selection for kids as well. Large space and back area if you want some privacy with small kids. Nice drink dispenser with water and ice. read more

Pho is for lovers but maybe not this kind of love. We Ubered this and couple of things: 1. The broth was not secured or wrapped in plastic. 2. The Thai tea spilled everywhere in the bag. 3. The beef was cooked, it wasn't raw like most places provide; the broth cooks the beef. 4. The egg rolls were tough. 5. The noodles must of been sitting out, they formed into a noodle patty. I thought is was good with all the different pho houses just down the road. This was my joint to hit up if i just wanted to walk from my home to get something without having to get into the car to drive a few miles. The banh mi was good though pricy compared to the ones in Garland and the pho was decent. read more

The beef quality in the pho was amazing and they're really generous with the protein portions, which I loved. The banh mi was super flavorful, the bún bò huế had the perfect spicy kick, and the fried rice was honestly so satisfying. It's rare that I find a vegan banh mi. I was torn between the pho and banh mi but sadly only had room for one. I have no doubt the pho would've been great but the banh mi was mouth watering my delicious. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. Ever since I found this place in 2022 I been picky with my pho. Any other spot I've tried doesn't even amount to what pho is for lovers has got going on. Their broth alone is delicious and doesn't need any extra sauces IMO. The fried egg with the banh mi is a game changer especially with that cucumber and cilantro. Super disappointed in my chicken Pho. Not very much flavor and my broth, tasted pretty much like chicken bouillon. There was hardly any greens or spinach or anything! my bowl only had broth, noodles and very little shredded chicken. My bowl of Pho came with only 3 slices of jalapeño and a 1/4 cup of bean sprouts. Love the food but giving it 3 stars today because this is the second time I was asked to sit up close To the front of the business so they could mop the floor to clean because they wanted to start cleaning before closing at 8:00 pm. I was there at 7:30! Then have smell a strong cleaning solution while eating my meal! A paying customer should not have to experience this.I was thankful they stop cleaning when I complained of the smell. Going have to get my food to go or stop going within the hour before closing? This place tastes great! I go all the time with my friends because we live in the apartments across the street. I will say though, management/ownership here is quite terrible. We get the spring rolls all the time and this time they tasted off a little. I asked them to check the shrimp to see if it was still good and kindly asked for a refund. The employee insisted on remaking it. We told them we lost our appetite and that we preferred a refund for the item. They argued how they don't do refunds and when I asked why not the employee said let me go speak to my manager. She comes out and says we will do the refund BUT JUST THIS ONE TIME. The takeaway here is to try to stick to items you already know on the menu, because they would rather die than give you a refund for it. They care more about money than providing a positive experience. All over a simple $7.31 refund for fishy spring rolls that didn't get eaten. read more

It had been several years since we'd had Pho so we were looking forward to having it again. They offer several varieties of Pho and other items to round out their menu. We started with the Summer rolls and they didn't disappoint. They were a good size (2 in the serving) and were generous with the shrimp inside. The flavor of the roll on its own was good and the peanut sauce on the side took it over the top! I had the Tofu Pho for dinner. The portion was generous and I took half home. The vegetables were fresh and plentiful my only thing was the broth had little flavor. I found myself adding Hoisen sauce and the fresh basil to give it flavor. My husband had the Beef Pho. His was generous with the meat and noodles. He also found his broth to be lacking flavor and went with the chili paste to give his some kick. read more

My husband had never had Pho before so we decided to stop by Pho is for Lovers. Inside the restaurant is really cute & the service was great! We got Pho & a the KBBQ sandwich. Both were great! I'd say the sandwich was my favorite. It was really good! The Pho was pretty spicy & there was huge slices of meat. I really enjoyed the soup! I used to frequent the now defunct Preston location and it was my favorite place to get pork vermicelli due to the amazing flavor of their grilled pork. Whatever they marinated it in combined with what I believe to be some pre application of fish sauce made it the best pork I've had in a Vietnamese restaurant without adding anything to the dish. I had to see if this location lived up to my memories of the old location. I'm happy to say the familiar pork flavor is exactly as I remember it but unfortunately it seems like they might have downgraded the quality of meat that they use or maybe I just got an off batch. Unfortunately the pork was chewy and pretty fatty so even though it had good flavor, the texture was impacted my enjoyment of the dish. The meal was still good and the rest of the ingredients were fine. If not for the familiar flavor this might have been closer to a 3 star meal though. I'm unlikely to go out out of my way to try it again and will likely see if I can find another Vietnamese place to scratch closer to me the itch instead. If I'm in the neighborhood though, I'll happily give it another shot and hopefully get the full experience that I remember from the past. If you live in the area and like Vietnamese food I'd give it a shot though. read more

I give this place five stars for having vegetarian options! On top of that, the service was great and the space was well decorated. My friend and I called two other pho places before stumbling upon this restaurant that catered to vegetarians/vegans. The fact that they offer vegetarian options for my friend was a huge relief. (I'd assumed that all pho places had those options). I decided to try it myself, and I must say, it was pretty good. Our usual Pho restaurant wasn't open so we thought we'd try Pho is for Lovers given the 4.8 stars on Uber Eats. Big mistake. First the noodles were all congealed at the bottom like overcooked pasta, the broth and tea were not wrapped up in Saran Wrap and leaked all over the bag - literally needed to mop the front hall due to the mess. The brisket was over cooked and the calamari was so tough and crunchy it was barely edible. The Egg Rolls were alright but not very flavorful. The Thai Ice Tea was actually very tasty but unfortunately didn't get to enjoy much because it leaked everywhere. Also, the broth was good too. Just an overall disappointing experience. read more

Normally pho restaurants use frozen meets but not this place, they use actual filet minot as there beef shank. You can see the marbling of the meat, tender through and through, you can tell this place take its time steeping the broth. Well, that was one heck of a delicious soup. I got chicken pho - a staple, one of my favorites, and sadly flavorless most places around here. THIS broth, though...
