Service was great. Food came out fast and hot. I love green curry but this was WAY too sweet! Not spicy at all like the menu says it is. The chicken in the spring rolls was really dry. I usually get shrimp but I had someone with me that didn't like it. I would definitely try them again with shrimp and I'm sure that would be better. I am impressed because I did leave my to go box in my table (even though I meant to... the sweet green curry) and the server came running into the parking lot with my food. It did take a while for the food, but it was pretty crowded when I visited! The one knock I have against Asian Mint is that the prices are quite high versus the portion of food you get. I first discovered Asian Mint at their original location 20 years ago. Since then,they have expanded to several locations in the area. I might add ," successfully" expanded. This is a pretty good spot for Thai food. I thoroughly enjoyed my Thai tea spice latte which is a bit similar to masala chai but Thai tea version with the frothiness of Teh Tarik (iykyk). Best dish for me was the pad kee mow hands down, might be one of the better ones I've had. Medium spice level was perfect for me. The crab lovers special was quite nice too. The grilled curry salmon was alright as the salmon was a bit overdone and the curry felt abit too sweet for my liking. Appetizers wise we enjoyed the mint platter though I didn't care for the chicken satay as much it lacked some flavor to me but the other things were good especially the steamed veggie dumplings which I was surprised by. I ordered the Massaman Curry! It is out of this world good! I usually order the same thing every time I go since it's so consistently good. we had a party of seven and they accommodated us very well. The only bummer part is they charged me the price of soda for only having a club soda, which is the CO2 part of the soda. I had the pleasure of visiting their location in Richardson and it was such a nice evening out. The atmosphere and lighting at night made it good for an impromptu date night during the week! My all-time favorite dish is the Shrimp & Chicken Basil. The spices and flavors are unbeatable! I would like to try more dishes, but this one always satisfies me. The portions are generous, and the spice level is perfect, making it an exquisite meal. Along with my meal, I'm delighted to receive the shrimp Rangoons. The dipping sauce elevates this appetizer; it's not excessively sweet, but perfectly balanced for a delightful sweet and sour flavor. this is a terrible experience with the DoorDash that delivered for Asian mint. I'm sorry that Asian man has a representative like this DoorDash or Sophia, Lauren who delivered or shall I say did not deliver the food that was ordered. I live in an apartment complex. This person did not enter the complex up to the fourth floor to deliver as requested. We've been long time customers of Asian Mint and have been to all of their locations. Tonight was the first time we were super let down. From the sour and unpleasant server (couldn't get her name since she didn't introduce herself or say hi), the water down dumplings that tasted like they were cooked from frozen, to the no wifi policy. In addition, we were told by our server that they can't made anything not spicy if it says spicy (we've been here for years and yes they can make something less spicy) and was also told by our server that the reward program is no longer (we've been reward members for years and was never told no before). The kids bento box was served with oranges with cinnamon on top. This is the first time we've ever gotten this box that had oranges with a bowl of water still in it. They obviously just emptied the whole cup and did not strain the oranges. Never had that here before. So I had to strain the oranges myself. Don't serve oranges in a bowl of water and cinnamon-like whaaat. All the servers were seen behind the bar counter on their phones, some even on FaceTime. The servers tonight acted like they were there to take the order, bring the food and then just go do whatever they want behind the bar without providing great customer service. I couldn't believe to see every single server on their phone, one had AirPods in as they were on FaceTime. Our server was short, not even sweet, and seemed bothered when we asked for plates with our appetizer. The only reason for 2 stars is the crab fried rice is good. Another star is given to the sweetest and most attentive busser who is from Venezuela (didn't catch her name). She was great and took more care of us than our server did. Rest of the food has gone downhill and we assume so will all of their locations. We will be finding another clean Asian food restaurant as this was a super letdown and I think the server made our whole experience worse. read more

I love curry. Asian Mint has several different curries on the menu. I hemmed and hawed, but ultimately decided to order my favorite, Green Curry. It was divine! I would definitely come back and get this again. I would like to try the other curries too. They had red, yellow, and massaman in addition to the green. You choose your protein. I went with tofu. There weren't many slices, but I was okay with that because it was loaded with vegetables. Every...Single...Bite...was filled with delicious vegetables: bamboo shoots, eggplant, carrot, etc. I think I'll skip the green papaya salad next time. It was okay, but it didn't live up to my memory of one I had in Hawaii many years ago. Lovely restaurant with booths next to the windows so you can people watch. Staff were great! They came around filling up my drink glasses, taking away finished plates, and brought the check promptly, but only after asking me if they could tempt me with dessert. This place is great but do note: Crispy Pad Thai has fried flat noodles Pad Thai No Sen has no noodles at all It's my fault for presuming these were just minor variations on a classic Pad Thai rather than significantly different versions. Parking was convenient, but then we went to eat dinner pretty early at like 5. You can easily make reservations on yelp which is very convenient. Food came pretty quickly. Big portions because I couldn't finish and I had to take some of it to go. I opted for mild spicy but I didn't think I'd taste much, but there is some kick. I'm thinking spicy must be really spicy. I am absolutely KICKING myself for not trying this place for so long!! When I finally remembered to go try it one day after work, I ended up liking it so much that I went two days in a row! The food is incredible. The first day I got the pad kee mow because I love those wide rice noodles. I got it with beef and the flavor was perfect. The second day I got the green curry, and it might be the best I've ever had! So creamy. Perfect balance of spice and sweet. The chicken was tender and the veggies still had a little crisp. The servings are also huge! If I hadn't been so hungry, I definitely could've split each meal in two to have leftovers. The staff was friendly both days I was there. They have such a great menu with so many Thai dishes that I would recommend, but one of my favorites has to be the Thai green curry with chicken. I've had it so many times, and it's my go-to order whenever I visit this restaurant. This place tends to get busy during lunch and dinner, which is great to see, and I've never really had to wait long at all to be seated. All the staff members are super friendly and always check up on you to make sure they keep filling up your water glass and see if you need anything else. The restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of parking spaces. The restaurant is simple and clean, and they have indoor or outdoor seating. Their greeting was simply "sorry we close shortly (about 20-25 minutes)... we can't seat you! But have a good night." The thing I do agree with was the "sorry" part! You absolutely were. You can do better!! How do your employees chat quietly among themselves while you watch and wait and then refuse to sit your customers before closing in an otherwise well populated restaurant?? And especially on a night after terrible storms where people have had no AC OR power all day and finally just looking for a place to sit for a nice meal before another potentially stormy night? Super impressed with this fast food - casual restaurant settled in what looks to me like a shopping center redo of up and coming businesses. For an appetizer I chose the Mint Platter which had a nice sample selection. I have to add that everything was delicious but the tender and juicy Chicken Satay stood out. I also ordered a cup of the Coconut Thai soup with chicken and hubs had the Spicey Tom Yum with Chicken - both flavorful and delicious. I was lucky enough to be ale to come here during Elite week and try their delicious food. I've been to the location on Forest lane and 75 and was curious to see if their other locations are just as good. I arrived with my family and was greeted by a cheerful waiter and seated quickly despite it being Saturday evening. We tried the chicken satey, a chicken tom kha noodle soup, Kua Kai (broad noodles with chicken, egg and scallions) and teriyaki salmon. The satey was tender and delicious with the peanut sauce that came on the side. Even the kids liked it. The tom kha soup was very good as well, not very spicy and rather on the sweet side, but not too sweet. My son absolutely loved the Kua Kai, to the point that he almost stabbed me in the hand with his fork when I attempted to try it. The salmon was tender and flaky with a slightly sweet teriyaki sauce.
