    Lao style Papaya Salad
    Vu N.

Sticky rice in Richardson. Right next to our hotel. After all this bbq. Some Thai food sounded great. And it was. Lao style papaya salad. It can get spicy so be careful ordering. I got extra sour. And it needed the extra limes on the side. Without it. Would be too sweet. Papaya was fresh. Added the extra crab for 1.50. Worth it. Pretty authentic flavors. For sure hit the spot

Huge portions you might want to share. Very tasty rice and noodle dishes. Friendly staff. Lots of parking.

It is a small restaurant, but the flavours are plenty. We went for dinner, and the food was served quickly and was very tasty. The prices are normal as well. The ambiance is cool. It's a bit difficult to find parking, though.

Was in the area visiting family and needed a quick lunch, this place didn't disappoint! The food was excellent with big portions, enough to last me through dinner, along with having plenty of gluten free modifications which was deeply appreciated. The only thing was the eating area wasn't very inviting. It was clean but tables were wobbly and the soda machine wasn't working. Other than that it was a good experience! Would come back to try other things on the menu.

Great food, but if you dine-in they only have cheap thin plastic utensils that immediately break. I asked for a real spoon and an Asian soup spoon. Told they don't have that, not even for dine-in. Didn't have a solution for the cheap thin breaking spoons. So never come here to eat here. You can only do takeout so you have utensils you can eat with at home. No working utensils here. That's terrible customer service!

i come here fairly often and the food never misses at all. i usually get a pad see ew pork and beef and it satisfies me every time, i usually share one order with my bf bc the portions are pretty big! service is always great, cason is prime example of model employee. the area is very chill and i can even do work on my laptop if i need to.

Suuuuuper delicious and generous portions will have you set for days after you've had your meal! I've never had Nam Kao before but that crispy rice and everything it was mixed with was so good in that lettuce wrap, that will be a must every time I go. Really loved that I had leftovers to take home because it was really that good and the I've already mentioned the portion size, but really, you're paying for at least two meals! The service was great and everyone was so nice and thoughtful, it was a great place to dine in for a casual night to catch up with a good friend. I'm glad I don't live too far away because this place is going in my dinner rotation for sure.

Food -Quantity- they give you plenty! Food -Quality- the food is meh, just ok I had the Basil Fried Rice and it had a good flavor. Nothing exciting and can get this anywhere. I had the drunken noodles. Plenty of noodles, but lacked in flavor. The Tom Yum soup was delicious. Full of flavor and probably my favorite. I would get this again. Service was ok. Inside was clean and ambiance was chill, nothing fancy. Overall decent, but you can definitely find better.

Melt in your mouth flavor for the pork ribs and sausage. The vermicelli curry was phenomenal and the Thai papaya salad was super fresh and delicious. It's tucked away and attached to a small Lao grocery store, which honestly made it feel even more authentic. The moment we walked in, it felt like we were about to get a home-cooked meal. We ordered the organ soup with sticky rice, beef lahp, and nam khao, and everything was absolutely delicious. The broth in the organ soup was rich, clean, and deeply flavorful, exactly how it's supposed to taste. The sticky rice came out warm and perfectly chewy. The beef lahp was bright and herbaceous with the right amount of spice and lime, super fresh, and tasted just like what we've had in Laos/at family gatherings. And the nam khao was crispy, tangy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they don't cut corners on ingredients here. What I appreciated most is the authenticity. A lot of other reviewers mentioned that this is one of the few places in Texas where the food tastes "just like home," and I completely agree. Multiple people also mentioned the friendly staff and how the market side carries essentials and hard-to-find Lao/Thai items. We felt the same way, everyone was kind, and the grocery section is a nice bonus for anyone looking for snacks or specialty ingredients. Portions were solid, prices were fair, and the quality was amazing. This is exactly the kind of spot you hope to find when traveling. If you want real Lao food, skip the trendy places and come here instead. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Texas. Highly, highly recommend.

This place is legit, the real deal! I recommend stopping by if you are in the area because it is so worth it. They are located in a small shopping strip mall thing on the Haltom city / Fort Worth border. I have had their duck, the tum yum soup, a rice noodle dish, and an appetiser I can't remember. During my most recent visit, I had the green curry with beef at a level 2 spice and the drunken noodles level 4. I love that they make sure to ask what level of spice you want on every dish because i have been to a couple of places that just make them all the same level as your main dish. In the past, I have gotten their Tum Yum soup, and its delicious. I had their pad se ew with beef, amazing. I had their spring rolls, pork belly, and they are one favorite things on the menu. I always end up ordering more than what I can eat, so i usually order dinner here and then take my leftovers for lunch to work the next day. The service here is great; they have lots of space to host a big lunch rush. Highly recommend yall try them out.

I absolutely love Meat Larb and Papaya Salad, and I also picked up some small sticky rice and a container of cabbage pickle. I remember the gentleman at the counter quoted me around $42.00 for everything, which seemed right based on what I ordered. When I paid by card, I honestly didn't get a clear view of the amount on the terminal, and I was in a bit of a hurry, so I didn't think to ask for a receipt at the time. I totally regret that now! It wasn't until I checked my bank statement a couple days later that I noticed a charge of $282.20 from Overseas Market. As you can imagine, I was pretty surprised, as it's quite a bit more than the $42.00 I was expecting. Spoke with the man by the phone he said I don't have a receipt and refused to work with me. At this point he left me no choice I got back online and did a partial dispute. This type of incident can happen to anyone so, please ask for a receipt and take time to look at it.
