I'm so confused. I got the highly rated pad see ew. The broccoli tasted like cardboard, like literal cardboard. Chicken is dry and Mild is waaay too much (can see the spices). I recently visited Sticky Rice in Richardson and had a solid experience overall. It's definitely good, just not quite great. Let's get into it... I ordered the basil fried rice (spice level 2) and the pork fried crispy rolls. The spice level 2 gave the rice a subtle kick - noticeable but not overwhelming - which is just the way I like it. The basil fried rice was packed with egg, bamboo shoots, baby corn, mushrooms, bell peppers, white onions, fresh basil, and garlic. The flavors were balanced, and the portion size was VERY generous - this was way more than single meal for me. The crispy pork rolls were also very good. They were filled with pork, green onions, glass noodles, carrots, white onions, and cabbage, and served with a thin sweet & sour sauce that complemented them nicely without being too heavy. Even though I ordered them as an appetizer, they arrived midway through my meal, so not the best timing. The fountain machine wasn't working, so drinks were $2.50 for a can of soda with no refills. That felt a bit steep for a canned drink. I count that as a downside of the visit. Overall, the food was flavorful and generously portioned. With small improvements on the drink situation and meal timing, it could easily be a 5-star experience. read more

I'll say the good first. Restaurant smelled nice and clean, the cashier was polite and helpful. No complaints about atmosphere or customer service, they got that down. But I was shocked at the food, I love pad Thai but here it was bland and had an old flavor like it was precooked the night before and just preheated. I'm used to spicy and sweet pad Thai I would say theirs although a hefty large portion the taste was not good. 20$ for just a plate of food no drink and the food tasted plain and old. Stopped in here for lunch today and ordered the pad see ew. The sauce isn't right. Speed of service s was fine, customer service was poor and the location was ok. Price was.a bit high for the food quality. I didn't like the sauce and the chicken was dry. I might give them another chance if I'm in the area, but i certainly wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. They do give you a decent amount of food but i don't want a large bowl of just ok or not very good food. We'll see how the leftovers taste. Maybe other things here are better. read more

Great food, but if you dine-in they only have cheap thin plastic utensils that immediately break. I asked for a real spoon and an Asian soup spoon. Told they don't have that, not even for dine-in. Didn't have a solution for the cheap thin breaking spoons. So never come here to eat here. You can only do takeout so you have utensils you can eat with at home. No working utensils here. The herb chicken was super flavorful and perfectly crunchy, I'd absolutely recommend it if you're in the mood for some good friend chicken! This location is better than the Murphy location in my opinion... their dishes had more flavor to them. It is not overly salty or spicy, but still enough flavor. In terms of the actual dish, I found it to be pretty average. Maybe if I had taken a higher spice level the dish would have been more flavourful but I found it to be very flat with the noddles stuck together. Both the noodle dishes were on the sweet side and the level 3 was not as spicy as I thought it would be. The portions were great and I liked that they pack to go boxes with aluminum to make sure the food stays warm. The chili oil sauce that they had was a good addition to the dish if you like more garlic and spice. Very nice service. Fast casual. Easy no frills. Small portions and high prices for Thai food. Came here for a quick late lunch one afternoon. Ordered a couple of items to share. Some of it was good but some of it wasn't very good. Started off with a papaya salad, and it was definitely swimming in sauce, and the sauce was very sugary. We then got the Tom Yum soup and that was also super sweet. The cream cheese appetizer was decent, but instead of cream cheese I think there was way too much mayonnaise in there. Wow, wow, wow! Everything about this place screams that it's definitely going to be a regular spot for me! They have great portion sizes and while still maintaining the quality. The food is so amazing honestly even just looking at it, the pictures and videos don't do it justice The person getting the order was nice enough and it was very straightforward because I took it to go both times. The place is in Cityline which is a very nice area, so even though the view from the restaurant is looking at construction you can definitely walk around once you're done. Coworkers and I came here for a team lunch and the food was good! Portions were sized well for the price you pay and inside is very quaint. I got the khao poon, a chicken curry noodle soup, which I was glad they had because most thai places don't. It was pretty good, large portion, seasoned well and had a really nice amount of fresh veggies which I loved. Before you place your order at the counter, you need to tell the cashier/waiter how spicy do you want, by number or no spice at all. I ordered one of their entrees, chicken and pad thai with chicken for my wife. The chicken entree is ok, not expecting that the chicken was minced. I thought sliced. The pad thai is sweet, not the authentic one. Serving is small and pricey for $$ Yelp code. Must've been the higher rent in the area. read more

Met a friend for late lunch during the week. It's a good location for people traveling by the train and was very clean inside. The seating is limited so during peak times, seating may be hard to come by but it was perfect for a late lunch. The staff was very friendly and patient. I had previewed the menu ahead of time and was a little disappointed when some of the menu items were not available (or even listed at this location). However the food we settled on was amazing.
