    Ramadan Menu!

We were absolutely not sure what we were getting into, though I am very familiar with Indo-Chinese cuisine. And to tell the truth, very few people can replicate that right amount of spices and spiciness to ensure it is eatable and tasty. Finally found a place that does amazing!!! We got 1. Manchow soup (really tasty!! Absolutely recommended), 2. Lemon Coriander soup (was expecting a fairly mild one, but this is the spiciest one of them all! Beware and know what you are getting into, though I found it very tasty my wife could not eat it haha), 3. Hakka Noodles (Recommended), and 4. Schezwan Fried Rice (very highly recommended) Overall the food was fantastic, we came in on a sunday afternoon and there was no one but we got fabulous service and we had enough left over for two more meals !! Coming back for more for sure! Oh btw they had a ramadan menu and their phones were ringing off the hook and they were turning people away because of reservations and space. That tells you how good the place is!

We found this place on Yelp in Richardson trying to find Chinese food-we were pleasantly surprised it was a fusion restaurant! We loved the creativity of the dishes and how they are combined from 3 different cuisines-Chinese, Indian, & Thailand. Our waitress was nice and attentive. Out of the 3 dishes we ordered, my favorite was the Chicken 65. If you like spicy, they definitely add the PERFECT amount of spice to these dishes (they can adjust based on your preference). The portions are family style so you will definitely get a decent amount of food. Overall the food came out pretty fast and the restaurant was very clean. The portions are amazing and we came home with leftovers.

Wow what a surprise hit! The Indo-Chinese fusion style really sets it apart from other places. The Chili garlic noodles came in a huge portion, and for once they got the spice level correct!. The stir fry noodles were super flavorful. The chili momos were excellent, the chili sauce made an excellent spin on a traditional app, definitely try if you go. Overall we recommend!!

Went here with family for a little desi chinese food.. loved every bite! We ordered hot and sour veggie soup along with chicken 65 for appetizers.. for main course we ordered hakka noodles, mongolian beef, and chicken with hot garlic sauce.. both the Mongolian beef and chicken with hot garlic comes with white or brown rice, but we got them changed to veggie fried rice which made a whole difference! For dessert we ordered thai milk iced tea which was just amazing! Overall the food and service was quite good! The ambience, however, does need a little more work...

This place is pretty far from where I live but it came highly recommended for halal Chinese food so the wife and I decided to make a trip and get a bunch of stuff. The food here is solid. Like good solid stuff. Prices are reasonable and I really wish it was closer so I could visit more often.

From the outside, you might second guess coming here as it was in a strip center with few stores and mostly empty...but it ended up being very good. We got the hakka noodles with chicken, chicken 65, sesame chicken, and hot and sour chicken soup. Our favorites were the chicken 65 and noodles. Flavorful and fresh. Everything was delicious and the noodles were a very large shareable portion. I think it could probably feed 4 as a side as we were two people and still had half of the noodles left. Nice to have a halal spot that serves asian food as we've been wanting to find a good one for a while. Prices are reasonable for the portions. Will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu! Also everyone was very kind and attentive. Great service.

This place is very casual, it's located in an old shopping center with plenty of parking in front. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The food here is amazingly flavorful. It was my first time eating the Manchurian chicken and I think I will make the drive up to Dallas just to eat it again and try out other items on their menu.

ok so we ordered take out and wait time was 20 mins for everything. the chili garlic noodles WERE SO GOOD. my favorite thing from everything we tried. they were the perfect spice and the chicken pieces were so tender even as leftovers the next day. And the serving size was just perfect for 3 ppl. the steamed dumplings were yummy and juicy. but the chili chicken momos were singing really unique. they were spicyyyyy as well as a burst of flavor. the mongolian beef was tender, savory with a subtle sweetness and ginger taste. the szechuan beef was spicy and paired very well with a side of fried price. the mango lassi was not that good. a bit more on the tarter side. so if you like ur lassi like that thennnn. the thai iced tea was good. not homemade authentic good but refreshing and it literally just needed boba as the cherry on top. overall we really enjoyed it and will order again.

The service and ambiance was good in the restaurant but I didn't like the sesame chicken. It didn't have any flavor. I did have the chilli chicken mono and it was a good appetizer.

Friendly young lady greeted me and took my food order. I waited about 10 mins for my food. I ordered the Manchurian chicken. It was very very good. I only tried that entree but I don't doubt the other things they offer are good. It's in a strip mall but the inside is decent and clean. Highly recommend, this place is definitely a gem.

The service is sketchy but the food is good. Upon entering, no hellos or welcomes, we were confused and asked if we just seated ourselves. They seated us and took order promptly. Food took a little while to come. For appetizers, we got chicken chili momos and they were very good. The noodles were yummy as well. Fried rice was meh, but the hakka chicken chili was also very good. We drove pretty far to try this food and were not disappointed. Service needs work!

There are not very many halal Chinese options in Dallas metro. A couple of locations permanently closed during Covid. This is a small dine-in restaurant with a capacity of less than 50 guests, but they offer carryout and delivery options. My wife and I arrived for dinner on a Monday at 4:30pm and had to wait outside for half an hour. Please take a note of the business hours. It opens at noon for lunch (until 3:30pm). Then, it reopens at 5pm for dinner (until 10pm). We ordered Chicken Manchurian, Chicken 65 with a side of Fried Rice. It took about 10 minutes to prepare the food. It was served hot with condiments and all items tasted great. Each serving was large enough for up to 2 guests or you would end up with leftover for carryout, unless you arrived famished and finished everything:-) Fair warning to everyone: Do not order anything more than "medium spicy", unless you are someone who chugs Tabasco to rehydrate after a workout, or you find jalapeños as bland as green peppers, or you consider habaneros as borderline spicy. I am unsure if they use ghost peppers to make things extra spicy for the select few. The chicken 65 was spicy as requested and it reminded me of the atomic sauce from Wing Stop. Not only did each bite brought tears of joy, my nostrils had cleared up completely by the time I finished the yummy chicken. Both she and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and we added this restaurant on our list of places to return sometime in the near future.

I ordered the Pork Ba, Pickled Smashed Cucumbers, Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings, Pork Bao Zi, and Peach Dessert Dumplings. The Pickled Smashed Cucumbers with the sweet and spicy chili dressing were a nice start, but the Pan-Fried Chicken & Mushroom Dumplings were fairly unremarkable. They weren't bad, but they reminded me of gyoza I've had at many other restaurants and didn't particularly stand out. The Pork Bao Zi had one of the better fillings of the meal. The pork itself was flavorful and delicious, but the bao bun was very plain and lacked enough flavor to complement the filling. I was especially interested in trying the Peach Dessert Dumplings because they sounded so unique. They were definitely an interesting treat, but ultimately fell a little short for me. The peach filling tasted more like preserves or jam than a fresh fruit-based filling, which made them sweeter and less balanced than I expected. The restaurant itself has a modern, clean, open interior and a casual atmosphere. One thing worth mentioning is that it was fairly warm inside, probably around 78°F. It wasn't unbearable for me, but with North Texas temperatures easily reaching 100°F+, some diners may find the dining room warmer than comfortable. Parking is also somewhat limited, so keep that in mind during busier times. Overall, I'm glad I tried Hello Dumpling, especially after seeing it on *Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives*. There were some enjoyable flavors and creative ideas, but based on this visit, the food didn't quite live up to the expectations I had from the TV feature. I'd give it a solid 3 stars and will go back to try some fresh noodle entrees.

Between the four of us we ordered the roti canai -- with an extra piece of roti, since the base only comes with two, roti murtabak, two orders of the pork belly baos, chili crisp cucumbers, nasi lemak, beef haw fun, and bò tái chanh -- Vietnamese rare beef salad. Overall, the food was outstanding. I feel like the restaurant took all the greatest hits from every Asian culture and put them together on the menu. My favorite dish of the night was a toss up between the rare beef salad, the roti, and the pork belly baos. I loved how crispy and flaky the roti was and the curry dipping sauce that it was paired with was super aromatic, nutty, and rich. The pork belly in the baos was incredibly tender, well-marinated, and had a nice balance between lean and fatty parts. If you enjoy sour dishes, you will love the rare beef salad: there is enough lime in the dish to make you pucker. Every bite is a concentrated punch of flavors, and there is a nice variety of texture between the chopped peanuts, thinly sliced onions, rare beef, and crispy rice cracker. If you're in this part of town looking for a dinner spot, I would not hesitate to recommend Hawkers Asian Street Food. In addition to the solid food menu, the service and drinks were equally spectacular.

I accidentally mixed up the broth and curry so we essentially ended up with curry ramen, but honestly it was delicious so it worked out. I did not realize the ramen broth is a dashi broth, which is clear instead of cloudy, so I mistook the curry for the ramen broth. Clearly my brain was not working that night but it ended up being a happy accident. One thing to note is that they charge extra for spice levels above level 2 and the price increases with each level. We got level 3 for both items and it was genuinely spicy. You will feel it while eating and definitely after as well. Hinodeya Special ($20.70) + Oni-kara Level 3 ($1) + Naruto ($1.50) + Inari Fried Sweet Tofu ($3) = $26.20: We swapped to spinach noodles which worked really well. The naruto came in 4 big thick slices but did not have much flavor to me. The tofu came in 3 small thin strips that were sweet but I did not think they were worth the add on price. Sukiyaki Curry ($22.42) + Oni-kara Level 3 ($1) + Spicy Pork ($4.50) = $27.92: You can tell this is homemade curry because the color and taste were completely different from the store bought curry roux you typically find elsewhere. It was creamy and made from a pork stock soup which is apparently also used in their ramen. The beef was a bit too fatty for me but I absolutely loved the spicy pork. I loved both items and will 100% be reordering from here. Can not wait to try their other items too.

Our server was attentive, provided us menus and the restaurant's decor created a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that transported me back to Okinawa Japan. After traveling abroad, it is especially refreshing to find authentic Japanese cuisine in the United States, and Hinodeya Ramen truly stands out in that regard. We ordered several katsu curry plates, bento boxes for the children, and started with an order of gyoza as an appetizer. The gyoza arrived crisp on the outside with a juicy filling that we demolished within minutes of being placed on the table. The katsu curry arrived as crispy cutlets paired with a thick, curry sauce that was rich and delicious. The chicken bento boxes contained a variety of vegetables, rice and their selection of proteins. Our meal was flavorful, and absolutely delicious. This establishment also brought back memories for my sister and me of our time serving abroad in Okinawa. The rich flavors, the spicy curry, and the authenticity of the cooking made it feel like a small return to Japan. Finding Japanese food that encompasses those flavors is not easy to find, but this restaurant truly delivered. I highly recommend Hinodeya Ramen for anyone looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience in Dallas. It will absolutely be my go-to spot whenever I'm back in the area!
