Had a good bowl of pho at this new restaurant in Cypress. My family was looking for a hearty and comforting meal, so I suggested this spot because it was popular among friends. Lots of seating for all party sizes, and I liked how naturally lit the inside was. Service was kind of awkward, I think most of the servers were young, but they were all nice. I got the seared garlic steak pho, and although I like how garlicky my pho was, I was slightly disappointed at the type of beef I got. It was kind of like beef belly, which I wasn't expecting. My family enjoyed their meals, so if I come back, I'll likely try something different. Prices were fairly affordable and portion sizes were large. read more

Standouts: music jamming, bright lights, friendly staff. Large portions. Rich broth. Fresh toppings. Halfway through my bowl I was feeling much better than I walked in. Came for pho, but the menu all looked good. Hot wing selection was hard to pass up. Busy on a Thursday evening, but no wait. read more

Dined in at this place and ordered: Pho#15 Large - the bowl is really big, taste is great not too greasy, enough meat, tripe and meatballs in the soup Grilled Lemon Grass Pork Chop Rice Plate- came with a small side salad with roasted sesame seed dressing, pork is very tender and tastes great. Shaken Beef- ordered this to-go, will review later. original Thai tea- it's ok but on the sweet side for my taste. Price is very reasonable. Service is not bad considering that the place is almost full. Compared to other Pho places, it's very clean and no weird smell. Will definitely come back to try the other items on their menu. read more

went here with a friend who had heard amazing things about this place and left disappointed. the large pho wasn't large enough and the accoutrements were lacking - not enough mint or variety of garnishes. the shaken beef was lacking any flavor - the best thing on that plate (in my opinion) was the thousand island/sesame oil dressing on the little side salad. the ambiance was nice and clean, the service was okay (only like 2 people working and the pho came out well before the shaken beef), and the food was just okay. i really wish i had something nicer to say, but ultimately just wouldn't recommend :( read more

This was my first time visiting this pho place, and I ordered the summer rolls (2 pcs) and fried rolls (2 pcs) to go. The wait time was a bit longer than I expected. When I got home and opened the food, I was surprised by the size--they were bigger than what I've had at other restaurants. However, I was disappointed to find that each summer roll had only one TINY shrimp, cut in half to make it look like two pieces. There was also only one lettuce leaf provided for the two fried rolls, so it had to be split in order to wrap them. Overall, I don't think I would order these rolls again from this place. read more

I'm so happy to see good Vietnamese places popping up closer to home! :) The ambiance is bright and clean, a decent amount of seating, and it's just an overall welcoming vibe for everyone. The service was good, my water was never empty, and they were making the rounds to check on us all continually. The pho was on point. I Called for pick up and ordered a large pho for my 2 year old daughter and specifically asked for no toppings and specified every single topping and condiment they usually put . When I arrived home with my order I found a chili oil container inside the bowl containing pho noodles and the chicken . The chili oil spilled out and got into the noodles and chicken . So I drove back and had explained the situation to why I needed a clean bowl with just noodles and chicken as I had already explained to them why on the phone . They apologized and I said it was totally fine! I just had to come back because my 2 year old can not eat chili oil (obviously). So they made me wait another 6 minutes and they came out very apologetic and I was thanking them for their service and hard work!...... until I got home again and after flipping the noodles over to cut into pieces for my daughter . We saw chili oil stains all over the bottom of the noddles meaning they simply just flipped the noodles the other way around when I returned it and they gave me back the same noodles . I called back again and told them what they have done . My 2 year old missed out on her pho twice . I wasted 45 minutes driving back and forth . And at the end they just said sorry and did not offer a refund or an exchange . 3 young men were very apologetic and knew the situation. Yet they gave my 2 year old noodles with chili oil twice after coming back to complain. They could have simply said no or told me what they were going to do . read more

I'm so glad they opened a Pho Hoa near me. I actually came twice in one week during the soft opening. For my first visit, I got the pho tai bo vien (steak & meatball). The second time I got the beef rib & brisket birria. I thought the pho broth was very flavorful and I love the pickled onion and jalapeños. Pho birria was ok. It was probably just pho broth with chili oil. I think it's great that they open late on the weekends. This place has plenty of parking, good and fast service, and decent price. They have other dishes like bun bo hue, beef stew, vermicelli, lomo saltado, etc. so there's something for everyone to try. read more

I'm slightly impressed that my hometown of Cypress, CA is slowwwwly becoming a bit more... modern? Lmao. Pho Hoa has been a classic name in the pho world for decades, and I'm so excited they've finally opened in Cypress. The space is clean, casual, and perfect for a quick, satisfying meal. We tried the Dac Biet -- the broth was flavorful and comforting, and the meats were generous and well-cooked. The Brisket & Rib Birria Pho was definitely a standout -- bold, rich, and the beef rib added a fun twist. Their drinks are also worth a try -- especially the Cha Mango Bliss slushie with chamoy, which was refreshing and balanced. Service was fast and friendly, and the grand opening deal was a nice bonus. Great spot whether you're craving classic pho or looking to try something new. read more

I recently visited PhoHoa and was really impressed! The service here is night and day compared to other pho restaurants. Our orders were taken & delivered promptly, and the staff checked in regularly to make sure everything was great for our experience. The space was spotless, tables were spaced out generously, and it was easy to see they take cleanliness seriously. There was plenty of room, making it extremely comfortable and not feeling cooped up. A few more guests came in after us, but most of the tables remained open. We ordered the #7 Shrimp Spring Rolls ($8.95) to start. Compared to spring rolls we've had at other Vietnamese restaurants, these fell short. My wife ordered the #24 Beef Pho with Rare Steak ($13.95), while I had the #23 Beef Pho Combo (14.95). Both bowls were served with a fairly bland broth and noticeably less meat than we're used to seeing at a similar price point elsewhere. That said, the service was excellent. Our server stayed on top of everything and checked in several times to make sure we were happy with our meal. The restaurant was also very clean and organized. Overall, the experience was fine, but the food itself just didn't leave much of an impression. We left feeling like we probably don't need to scratch the Pho May itch again anytime soon.

It was $17-19+ per pho, which was ok at first since we thought it would come with complimentary extra noodle or like $1 per extra, and sufficient meat with the order. The order came and the noodles portion was like for a kid, so we thought maybe they have free extra noodles so their portion is small. But the meat portion was also small too which was odd. Taste was just average pho. We had to order extra noodles and each plate, which was again a kid sized portion, was $4. No extra meat ofc. Unless you have a small appetite, expect the noodles to be around 21-22 dollars per person. We did have to order more than one extra bowl, but we wont be coming back here again. There are too many great pho places that live up to the price and service to be coming here. Bathroom needed cleaning too!

The chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce gave it that extra yummy goodness. The dish also came with a side of broth that had chicken bits in it, was nice to help digest your dish. I also loved that they gave you pickled veggies & fresh veggies. We also ordered the Loi's Fusion Saltado, upgraded the rice to garlic egg fried rice. The beef was soft and tender, the fries were nice and crispy and the fried rice was fresh. You 100% need to get the Thai Tea. A lot of place add too much cream/half and half diluting the tea flavor, they do not skimp on the actual tea in their drink. The color speaks for itself on the dark orange hue!

I'm a bit late getting around to writing this, and unfortunately, they are already closed, but I still felt like I had to share my experience. I'm not completely surprised that they closed, especially after trying their bò né. I've had this dish many times at different places around Orange County, and unfortunately, this was probably the weakest version I've come across. The first thing that stood out was the presentation. As you can see in the picture, there was this purple-colored sauce on the meat itself, which honestly did not look very appetizing. To make things worse, the sauce was cold and did not heat in time with the skillet, which really took away from the experience. The flavor itself wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't anything memorable. It was just okay, and when you factor in the cold food and the presentation, it made the whole dish disappointing. With so many places around Orange County serving bò né at a much higher level, I would probably recommend spending your money elsewhere. If you were wondering whether you missed out on some hidden gem, don't worry, you didn't. This one felt more like a piece of coal than a diamond. That being said, every restaurant has its journey, and with more time, maybe they could have found their footing. Hopefully, they can take this experience as a lesson, refine their recipes, and bring something better in their next venture. I am rooting for you Loi!

Pho Hoa is a reliable spot for a hearty Vietnamese meal, and they do more than just pho right. The classic beef pho is satisfying--light yet flavorful broth, tender slices of meat, and fresh herbs that round it all out. It's comfort food done well. Beyond the soup, their summer rolls are a refreshing appetizer. Packed with shrimp, vermicelli, lettuce, and mint, they're tightly wrapped in soft rice paper and served with a deliciously nutty hoisin-peanut dipping sauce. Light, healthy, and full of texture. The avocado rolls are a pleasant surprise--simple, creamy, and great for vegetarians or anyone wanting something lighter. They're fresh, not overly seasoned, letting the buttery avocado flavor shine. Service is quick and the portions are generous. The atmosphere is casual--nothing fancy, but clean and relaxed. It's a good spot for a quick lunch or a laid-back dinner. Highly recommended! read more

I visited Pho Hoa for dinner with my wife, and overall, we had a solid experience. The pho broth was exactly what I expected--rich, aromatic, and comforting, with the beef cooked just right, tender and flavorful. Portions were generous, leaving us satisfied without feeling stuffed. The chicken wings were decent but nothing standout--fair at best, though they hit the spot as an appetizer. My wife ordered the pork chops, and she was really pleased with them. They were flavorful, moist, and well-seasoned, which is a relief since dry pork chops are always a gamble. Service was friendly and attentive, and I appreciated that the owner/manager stopped by to check on us before we paid the bill. It's always nice to see that kind of hands-on care. We'll definitely be back to try other menu items and update this review accordingly. read more

I was in Cypress for a business meeting, and was hungry to eat some Pho. After searching online, I found Pho Hoa and it didn't disappoint! Absolutely amazing pho! The broth is rich, flavorful, and clearly simmered to perfection; you can taste the depth in every spoonful. The noodles were fresh, the portions were generous, and the meats were tender and high quality. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere for both family dinners and casual lunches. If you're craving authentic, comforting pho, this place is a must-visit. Pho Hoa in Cypress is a great place to stop for lunch or to hang with friends and family. The staff here are always so friendly and attentive - they greet you right away, check in to make sure you have everything you need, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The food is always fresh and delicious. The broth is super flavorful, the portions are generous, and everything comes out hot. I've tried a few different things on the menu and it's all been great, but their Beef Rib & Brisket Birria pho is definitely the star. The popcorn chicken and rolls are also super yummy. It's just an overall great place with good vibes, good food, and great service. Definitely recommend if you're in the area! read more

The restaurant itself was clean and spacious, with well-spaced tables that made for a relaxed and comfortable dining atmosphere. You can really tell they care about cleanliness and customer comfort. I visited for the grand opening and ordered the rib bone with beef brisket pho. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the experience. The noodles were of low quality, and the meat portions were very small--just three small pieces of brisket and a fatty beef bone. Additionally, the "regular" drink size was much smaller than expected, more like a kids' drink. A grand opening should be about impressing customers and encouraging them to return, but sadly, that wasn't the case here. I won't be coming back and wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience. read more

My expectations shot through the roof and I eagerly anticipated the ho-fun style noodles in delicious and meaty broth. Wide. Chewy. Lizzo thick! What showed up was the Ozempic version of Lizzo. Still a decent bowl, broth was good, meat was plentiful, but the noodles need to go back to loving themselves or something. Girlfriend, meanwhile, lived her truth: ordered the bland/safe pho.
