I just wondering why they close down. I hope in the future they open up a new one. I would go every week or order on Uber every week maybe even more i was addicted to this place and always Uber eater or picked it up. Now I dont really Uber eat as much and my job noticed and I let then know my favorite place in the entire world close down. Now I wished I had gotten the recipe from them before they closed down another pho place I like is soup shop but its not the same as this place nothing can ever top this place. I love this place so much even from when it first open. . Everyone was always so nice and I hope to see them again and maybe ask for the recipe if they can the ribeye pho was the best out of this whole world with my extra ribeye and extra noodle with just lime and black pepper.

For starters, we got their Chile-Lime Cauliflower, and it is so good! The chile-lime vinaigrette is really what makes it! I have never enjoyed cauliflower so much! I only wish they would cut the cauliflower into slightly smaller pieces so it's a little easier to eat. But other than that, highly recommend this dish! I wanted something warm and comforting, so I got their Ribeye Pho. It comes in a pretty big bowl with tenderized sliced ribeye steak, noodles, and all of the pho fixings. Will be back to try some of their other Asian fusion dishes!

Hopefully, they will improve the waiting time which should be so great ^^ It's located in a food court with a karaoke store right next to it so be aware of a loud sound. I ordered my food around 8pm, 3 dishes, and ended up having everything around 8:50pm. The funny part is the couple ordered after I got their food first, probably around 8:20-8:30pm (2 of their dish were the same one that I ordered, bột chiên and bánh tráng nướng),maybe cuz I seemed chiller and calmer while the other couple was mad about the wait. I understand that the wait time could be long, but the fact that they gave my order for the customers who came after me was ridiculously funny. I'm not mad because of the wait time, it was Sat and the market was busy too, simply felt like I got disrespected. Their food was ok, and the price was ~9$ for all of their food, if you wanna try, just come on regular weekday, hopefully they'll work out their customer service next time.

We also ordered the Special Appetizer platter, and I'd recommend it if you're sharing. It was a nice mix of fresh and crunchy, and everything tasted made to order. We also got 3 Bahn Mi sandwiches to go.. buy 2 get 1 free at $7 each. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Service was a little slower than expected, but nothing that took away from the experience. Overall, a solid spot for Vietnamese food, and I'd happily come back to try more of the menu.

My wife and I visited Pho May for the first time this week. We arrived for dinner around 6:00 p.m…read more and were immediately seated, as the place was mostly empty except for a small party of six. A few more guests came in after us, but most of the tables remained open. We ordered the #7 Shrimp Spring Rolls ($8.95) to start. They were edible, but the texture was a little stale and chewy, almost like they had been made earlier in the day and refrigerated a bit too long. Compared to spring rolls we've had at other Vietnamese restaurants, these fell short. My wife ordered the #24 Beef Pho with Rare Steak ($13.95), while I had the #23 Beef Pho Combo (14.95). Both bowls were served with a fairly bland broth and noticeably less meat than we're used to seeing at a similar price point elsewhere. That said, the service was excellent. Our server stayed on top of everything and checked in several times to make sure we were happy with our meal. The restaurant was also very clean and organized. Overall, the experience was fine, but the food itself just didn't leave much of an impression. We left feeling like we probably don't need to scratch the Pho May itch again anytime soon.

Ok, so this is an extremely high priced pho place for the taste, serving size and the fee per extra…read morenoodle. It was $17-19+ per pho, which was ok at first since we thought it would come with complimentary extra noodle or like $1 per extra, and sufficient meat with the order. The order came and the noodles portion was like for a kid, so we thought maybe they have free extra noodles so their portion is small. But the meat portion was also small too which was odd. Taste was just average pho. We had to order extra noodles and each plate, which was again a kid sized portion, was $4. No extra meat ofc. Unless you have a small appetite, expect the noodles to be around 21-22 dollars per person. We did have to order more than one extra bowl, but we wont be coming back here again. There are too many great pho places that live up to the price and service to be coming here. Bathroom needed cleaning too!

The chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce gave it that extra yummy goodness. The dish also came with a side of broth that had chicken bits in it, was nice to help digest your dish. I also loved that they gave you pickled veggies & fresh veggies. We also ordered the Loi's Fusion Saltado, upgraded the rice to garlic egg fried rice. The beef was soft and tender, the fries were nice and crispy and the fried rice was fresh. You 100% need to get the Thai Tea. A lot of place add too much cream/half and half diluting the tea flavor, they do not skimp on the actual tea in their drink. The color speaks for itself on the dark orange hue!

Welcome to Day 2 of OC Food Journals, where I try a new place every day so you don't have to…read more Today's stop was Loi's Kitchen, and honestly, this review is a little overdue. I'm a bit late getting around to writing this, and unfortunately, they are already closed, but I still felt like I had to share my experience. I'm not completely surprised that they closed, especially after trying their bò né. I've had this dish many times at different places around Orange County, and unfortunately, this was probably the weakest version I've come across. The first thing that stood out was the presentation. As you can see in the picture, there was this purple-colored sauce on the meat itself, which honestly did not look very appetizing. To make things worse, the sauce was cold and did not heat in time with the skillet, which really took away from the experience. The flavor itself wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't anything memorable. It was just okay, and when you factor in the cold food and the presentation, it made the whole dish disappointing. With so many places around Orange County serving bò né at a much higher level, I would probably recommend spending your money elsewhere. If you were wondering whether you missed out on some hidden gem, don't worry, you didn't. This one felt more like a piece of coal than a diamond. That being said, every restaurant has its journey, and with more time, maybe they could have found their footing. Hopefully, they can take this experience as a lesson, refine their recipes, and bring something better in their next venture. I am rooting for you Loi!

They just have different portions of meat, but you can't go wrong with any of them. Service is quick. The servers dont really check up on you as often but you can easily just flag them down if you need them.
