Pho-licious!!! I just flew in from L.A today and my airbnb happened to be across the street. Being that I'm Vietnamese and have grown up on authentic home cooking I had to check out this spot. It's not often that you find Ph made with veggie broth and I was in luck! My husband & I also run a vegetarian blog @CouplesKitchenette. The bowl of heaven was made to perfection. One thing that makes Pho special to me is the broth. And this place has the best bone broth I've had in a long time. I usually get the Haus Pho trio and add veggies. The meatballs are delicious along with the filet and brisket. The owner is super friendly and will often stop at your table to chat, even though she is part of the serving staff and is running her butt off. The location of the place can sometime cause a challenge to find parking, but it's well worth it. If you like Pho, and I do even in the summer time, this place is worth the try. Their traditional broth is NOT gluten free, if that indicates just how "traditional" it is. (Pho is traditionally GF.) What this means is that they either use Soy Sauce in their broth or some other "ingredient" which makes me wonder if they even make the broth from scratch. If the "vegan/GF" Broth is any good, I might edit this to give another star. Otherwise I was pretty disappointed that I couldn't order the traditional broth. The haus broth is the best I've tasted. The selection is great. Only thing I would change if I was the restaurant is on take out orders, the amount of veggies, especially basil, is comically small. Order off of Uber eats cause they were supposed to give me free crab cheese wontons with my order of 25$ or more I spent 30$ I never got them, I also paid an extra 2$ for a large portion which is laughable compared to other restaurants, and to top it off I paid 4$ for extra again shrimp and I got 8 in my bowl and the Adame wasn't even salted nor was it fully cooked, I highly recommend you eat somewhere else read more

Cute decor in the front half of the restaurant, back part could use some work, but I think they opened not too long ago so maybe they are working on adding more stuff to the back. Haus pho with extra veggies was very good. Plenty of meat in the trio option. It was kind of weird that red bell peppers were in the mix. Didn't think it worked too well with the pho. There were three of us too, and we only had one sprig of basil to work with. Lots of lime chunks though! I love lime. Non-alcoholic drinks are not listed on the menu, so you just have to ask. I got the vietnamese coffee, it was pretty good. The women's restroom is a bit odd in that the toilet paper dispenser is placed ~3 feet from the toilet. Wish there were "real" (non-disposable) chopsticks available for use. It would really enhance the experience. read more

I get the haus pho (keep in mind the broth is slightly different than traditional pho) with grilled shrimp. This is my favorite pho in Denver. I would 5/5 recommend to anyone who likes pho. I would also recommend getting the shrimp spring rolls and having them grill the shrimp. Sometimes there is a rush for dinner but it is definitely worth the wait. Yes, I'm giving this Haus 5 stars. Now, I hail from South Philly and if we were in Philly the rating might not be a full 5. But were in Denver, and compared to the competition this place was pretty great. They have two types of Pho, traditonal Pho and Haus Pho. The Haus Pho was the spicy version and pretty good, I would say 7 out of 10. My girl got the traditional version and it was actually pretty amazing, perhaps 9.5 out of 10. The broth is incredible. She got the soup with shrimp and there were like 10 large shrimp that were char-grilled. Nicely done mates. They have fresh springs roll with real barbecued pork. This is great to see. I'm so tired of the lame spring rolls with one lunch meat style piece of pork and shavings of shrimp. They could greatly improve their tea game however. They have tea bags they put in glass mason jars. They should have little glasses at each table and pour stronger, real tea. It's nice to see they have a few plasma screens in there as well. A great pho place has about 8 to 12 but this place is small so I get it. Love it. Will be back. Be well. read more

Interesting little spot! I tried out the phorrito (sp?) and it was pretty good! Your burrito comes tightly wrapped and served with a side of pho broth, which you're encouraged to dip into. Mine AND my 5 year olds favorite pho place! While they only have one size bowl of pho, they will split it into two portions for sharing. They've expanded their menu and so far, everything we've tried has been delicious! The restaurant is small but cozy with cute decor (who thought of the bicycle lights?) and the staff is always super friendly and remembers us, which is nice for such a busy restaurant. The pho here is BANGIN. We've been here over 10 times now and I can say with conviction that this is the best pho in Denver and quite possibly the best I've ever had. I love the traditional pho, the broth is perfection in brothy form. Before I found the hidden gem that is Pho Haus, I would typically add tons of sauces to my pho to give the broth flavor. I did this sauce dump accidentally one time at Pho Haus and was mad at myself for the remainder of the day, possibly week. Old habits die hard. The broth is savory and flavorful as is and needs no help. I usually get veggie and tofu in my traditional pho and the vegetables here are super fresh, definitely not frozen, and just cooked by the broth. I've gotten the shrimp and they are super good. They were huge and had just been grilled and didn't have any freezer burn flavor I've had in shrimp from other pho places. The meat trio at Pho Haus is also far superior than meat trios I've experienced elsewhere -- I hate questionable meatballs and weird colored beef. But here, the meatballs are clearly meat and the steak is the color it should be. My boyfriend loves the Haus Pho, its a little too spicy for me (I'm a baby about spice). It has a nice lemongrass flavor and is very much distinct from the traditional broth. I appreciate that the haus broth is truly unique and not just the traditional with some sriracha thrown in. We love the pork dumplings and the pork fresh spring rolls. The crab wontons are also really good and didn't seem previously frozen and weren't over-fried. They also have great vietnamese iced coffees. We ordered the tea once and it was just plain green tea bags... I think they could really step this up and use loose leaf tea or something but thats really the only thing I can find for improvement. The first bowl of pho I had here was absolutely delicious. Tender brisket without tons of unpalatable fat, great flavors from the broth. YUM. I haven't gotten a bowl quite nearly as tasty as the first and the brisket is often very tough and not trimmed well. I've only eaten at the restaurant once, and while the service was good, there was a lot of smoke building up from the kitchen. I'm not sure if ventilation has improved at all, but it was enough to be bothersome during the meal... so it's been to-go ever since! One thing that I appreciate about Pho Haus is that the pho is packaged in its own to-go bowl so all you need to do is pour the broth over and add your toppings. So many other pho places put your pho in a Styrofoam container and leave it to you to find a large enough bowl for everything. Pho Haus packages its food with care which is awesome. The only thing that I have to mention is that in my most recent to-go order, I found a small, black, curly hair hidden amongst my noodles. I know that might not be a big deal to some, but it's enough for me to lose my appetite. It really makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen and the habits of the staff. Authentic Vietnamese food in Denver!! I have tried several asian restaurants but I have to say that it has been pretty disappointing until I found this one. This restaurant was packed and I can see why. I ordered the phoritto and it was amazing. The broth served on the side really put this over the top. It is family owned and operated from local Bay Area people (San Jose) and moved to Denver, this explained why the food is so good. The spices in this 'Haus" option are sooo perfect; I personally have never had a better flavor pho broth. I did confirm that both tofu and vegetable pho broths are 100% vegan.
