20/10! Ordered the Thai tea with boba, it was brought to me first then within 8 minutes of me sitting down the food is done! Flavorful! Yummmm. I go to school across the street and they never fail to fill me up before heading home. Now what really set me up to make this my pho spot was the guy behind the counter, he charged my phone while i waited so i could use my Apple Pay!! 20/10 for customer service that's ON POINT! Quick, yummy, and nice people. Definitely worth the stop!

Food is fair, I ordered the house pho medium bowl with the daily special combo! Pho soup was good but the meat was too hard to chew. I was so hungry I just swallowed it down. They steam bean sprouts free of charge, if necessary. Pink lemonade is good. Two spring rolls were excellent. Flan is really tiny, I honestly thought it would be a little bigger. Service is okay. I do love the busy atmosphere ambiance, I do plan on going back again!

Came back with a party of 8. Called ahead to make reservations and when we got there, our table was ready and our waitress was ready to take our order. This time around, I opted for a vermicelli dry dish. I think it was #40? We also ordered the fresh spring rolls and fried rolls as well as Thai tea (buy 2 get one free) we ordered 4 :) got 2 free :) boba was 50 cents extra for each drink- which isn't bad compared to other boba spots in the same center. This is my 3rd time here and I've enjoyed my food every visit.

We haven't been to Pho Hai for a while because we always have Vietnamese food in Rowland Heights. Pho Hai is located in a plaza right across Mt. Sac (Mt. San Antonio College) and it's next to Taco Nazo and Scoopz Premium ice cream. Hubby and I ordered Pho Dac Biet (Special Vietnamese noodle soup with rare steak, flank, tendon & tripe $16 for large size) and grilled pork spring rolls (4 pcs for $10.50) for late-night dinner. The rare steak quality was so fresh and delicious and the broth was on point and flavorful but we didn't feel too thirsty afterwards. The grilled pork spring rolls were also good and they made the wrap so thin. We will go back there again when we crave Vietnamese food. The price was also fair. Service was okay. (PS We redeemed the free Coke by checking in on Yelp but the server forgot to give us and we had to remind him)

Order with NO onion and no cilantro!

Raining day, order to go. Was not the preference place. But is the closest. Called couple of times, no one answer the phone. Tried 1 last time and finally someone answers. Order a soup noodles, requested NO onion, NO cilantro. The lady repeated the order, everything was correct. When arrived home, open my orders, there were lots of onion and cilantro. (See photos) Call them...they ask me to bring it back and exchange it for me. Kidding me, is was pouring rain. Was going to toss away, but it Cost almost $20 for that soup noodles, I picked out every single green! What if I'm allergic to the greens? Shouldn't they just credit it back to my credit card or have a better solution? Will not go back nor recommend this place. Food is very bland. $20 noodle...not worth it!

We went to a Sunday lunch at Pho Hai which is located at a plaza right across the street of Mt. Sac. The restaurant serves pretty wide variety of Vietnamese cuisine. The decoration is traditional and eatery style. It is a mom-and-pop restaurant serving authentic Vietnamese food. Service is quick and friendly. We ordered bun Bo hue, ingredients and noodles are fine the soup base is lacking spiciness. And crispy noodles Mi Xao Gion, it's flavorful, crispy, with good amount of ingredients and sauce!

My friend and I were really hungry after visiting many stores for a house project. Came here many times before but recently service was just okay and food seemed just okay too. When the service is mediocre, even food seems to taste mediocre.

the food was delicious! there weren't a lot of people when we came here at night for dinner, so that's a plus! we will definitely come back in the near future for some yummy pho!

Ordered through Grubhub and loved that they offer tofu spring rolls for an affordable price. For 4pcs for $13. I wish they also included fish sauce though instead of just peanut sauce. It was wrapped nicely and none of the rolls stuck on each other (no rips).

Boat!!!

The Kobe beef pho is hands down the best tasting i've ever had ! The guy was super professional and helped keep everything coming out hot and fresh. This is the go to spot if your looking for a chill home-made meal !

Pho Hai is a pho restaurant located in Walnut. It's located in a plaza with a large parking lot and lots of other food locations. The shop itself has a good amount of seating inside and a restroom. The store itself was clean and service was good. The food came out quickly and everything was hot. Overall, ambiance and service was as expected. Food We ordered the #5, the #6, and the B1. The pho was $13 for a medium and $14 for a large and the banh mi was $10. For the price, the portions were big. The pho was pretty tasty especially when you add in chili, lime, and toppings. Definitely opt for the larger portion. The meat wasn't the greatest quality but it was a filling meal. The banh mi was very tasty and had a nice crunch to it; definitely recommend. Overall, the food was good and definitely try them out. Overall: 4.2 The ambiance + service: 4.5/5 The food: 4/5 The price: $$

My spouse wanted to check out this small Pho place across from Mt. Sac. college. Ordered 1. Daily special combo -it comes with soup choice (item #1-10) along with egg rolls OR shrimp and pork eggroll, a drink and a homemade flan. Ordered #1 - Pho Dac Biet Xe Lua - The flavor of the soup was good not the best. 2. Chicken baguette - It was perfectly warm delicious crunchy sandwich. The marinated chicken was different and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. The only reason for one less star is because of the price. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.

Their pho is always fresh and very hot upon arrival. This was our first time getting fish cakes and egg rolls and both were very crunchy. The sizes of the egg rolls and fish cakes were large and good enough for us all to share. I love the veggie pho but it's important to note that the veggie tofu pho does use beef broth as their base just in case there are some vegetarians out there that don't consume any meat products!

The restaurant was more spacious and gave out the Viet feel vibe with a lil modernization. We knew that the food was going to be pretty authentic when all of the waitresses and waiters spoke Vietnamese and pronounced everything correctly and perfectly communicated in English too! We ordered the following : 1-5, 5 being the yummiest. *Hu tieu nam vang: 4.25! This dish was truly yummy. I haven't had this for a long time, and I truly enjoyed it. The broth was light and flavorful. It had the right amount of seafood and meat. The veggies refresh. It was not salty and you can actually taste the old school broth. The noodles have the right texture and chewy but not hard. *Com Bo Luc Lac: 3.75. The dish overall was pretty good. There could have been a little bit more meat since the chunks were pretty small. You can tell that it was not marinated because the flavor was really only in the sauce and the meat itself was bland. The cuts of meat are usually filet mignon, but you can tell that this was probably closer to xhuck steak. *Going Cuon and Nem cuon 4. These were good size and had a nice amount of meat and veggies. Was not overloaded with noodles. They provided the traditional sauce as well as the peanut sauce which were greatly flavored. I also ordered hot tea which they serve Jasmine tea. The flavor was just right and hot. It wasn't watered down or sitting for a while. It was perfectly brewed and went very well with the food. The service (3) is better than most Vietnamese restaurants. They took our order, and the orders came out right. They didn't check on you or come to see how the food was, but that is very common for authentic victims places. However, when we did ask for somebody, they were available.

However, we were told they stop seating guests after 8:30 PM and that arriving at 8:24 was "too close" to that cutoff. This was frustrating and confusing, as we technically arrived before their stated seating deadline. We dine here frequently and have always enjoyed our experiences, which made this situation especially disappointing. Being turned away despite arriving within what appears to be the acceptable window felt misleading and uncharacteristic of the service we've come to expect. If the kitchen or staff need to stop seating earlier than what customers would reasonably expect based on closing time, that policy should be made much clearer upfront. Turning guests away who arrive within the posted window feels frustrating and disappointing.

This is my local favorite Vietnamese spot. I decided to try this place after doing a delivery here…read moreand have since tried their beef pho with bone (super tender and quality beef), chicken pho (tender white meat chicken-skinless), and banh mi chicken and beef. For the Pho, the broth is my favorite part. Nourishing and my go to when i need a pick me up. They have some amazingly clear and flavorful broth. To go or order in portions are more than enough. If you order to go everything is packed neatly. Even if you don't want Pho, try their banh mi!! My favorite is the beef.. watch out for the jalapeños lol I only nibble on them after I take em out or-you can ask without.. also had the privilege of trying their seasonal lemonade with kumquat (match made in heaven) !!! I forgot to take a picture of my food and family's before grubbing so here's a picture of the satisfying last bite and sip

I have mixed feelings about my recent visit to Pho Bamboo in Rowland Heights…read more I want to start by highlighting the service, which was absolutely exceptional. Our server was incredibly friendly and patient; he took the time to introduce us to various items on the menu and gave us thoughtful recommendations. It's rare to find such high-quality service these days. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. I ordered the Pho, but there was very little meat inside--perhaps only 3 or 4 small pieces of beef in the entire bowl. The egg rolls were strictly vegetarian with a taro filling; while they tasted good, we were surprised by the lack of meat, which I think many people would expect or prefer. Surprisingly, the best dish of the day was the fried rice noodles. They were flavorful and well-prepared, which was the highlight of our meal. Despite the wonderful service, the lack of value and portion sizes in the main dishes means we probably won't be coming back.
