3.5 stars This is only for the tofu spring rolls. The spring rolls came with 4 pieces. The springs rolls were pretty big and had a lot of filling. All the ingredients were fresh. The tofu was bland as expected. The real disappointment was the peanut sauce. The peanut sauce was watery and lacked flavor. If the peanut sauce had more flavor, I think it would've made the tofu spring rolls so good. read more

I've gotten Phở Hà through DoorDash pickup recently since they haven't answered their phone the last few times I tried calling to place a to-go order. Ordering through the app is definitely easier because calling in hasn't worked for me at all. The food itself is solid. The broth is rich, flavorful, and comforting without being overly salty. The noodles hold up well, and everything is packaged neatly, even for pickup. My only wish is that they would include more meat -- the portion feels a bit light compared to other pho places. Overall, Phở Hà is a reliable choice when I'm craving a warm bowl of pho, but the lighter meat portions and the difficulty reaching them by phone bring the rating down a bit. Came back with a party of 8. Called ahead to make reservations and when we got there, our table was ready and our waitress was ready to take our order. This time around, I opted for a vermicelli dry dish. I think it was #40? Hubby and I ordered Pho Dac Biet (Special Vietnamese noodle soup with rare steak, flank, tendon & tripe $16 for large size) and grilled pork spring rolls (4 pcs for $10.50) for late-night dinner. The rare steak quality was so fresh and delicious and the broth was on point and flavorful but we didn't feel too thirsty afterwards. Raining day, order to go. Was not the preference place. But is the closest. Called couple of times, no one answer the phone. Tried 1 last time and finally someone answers. Order a soup noodles, requested NO onion, NO cilantro. The lady repeated the order, everything was correct. When arrived home, open my orders, there were lots of onion and cilantro. Probably the worst pho I've ever had in my life here in California. I ordered a pho tai nam and the meats had thick cuts of YELLOW fat. Aka, it's been frozen for a long time, and you can taste that in the flavor. It was inedible to me and I had to eat around it and just finish the noodles. The broth lacked flavor where you can't even taste the signature star anise spice. It was so disappointing. It's as if they've cut every corner possible. The only saving grace was that my husband ordered a broken rice plate that had deliciously char grilled pork. This is one of my all time favorite places to eat. Everything I've had here is SO good! We've never had to wait long for a table, the Pho comes out super fast, and everything is relatively inexpensive. We always order a bowl of Kobe pho and split it along with some fried egg rolls. If we're super hungry we also get their broccoli beef. Their shrimp pad thai and pork banh mi are also really good, the bread on the banh mi is amazing! They always have music playing and have the news on one tv, sports on another and SpongeBob on another, something for everyone. I had to order the spring rolls with shrimp and pork, and they were delicious! My standby. I ordered the large. Pho tai nam which is steak and brisket, and I added extra peppers which I often do. This place is very popular so it's easy to see why they have nice places to sit down on the TV if you wanna watch it during the service is very quick . I finally returned after 1-2 years, and found that the meat and portions became very ordinary. I'd return out of convenience because this is the closest pho place to my home. I'd like to note that the prices for this spot are still very fair($14 large), so they maybe adjusted portions to account for rising food costs. They advertise a great combo deal/special AND an employee discount if you work at Mt. Sac. However, the food was honestly one of the worst pho and spring rolls I've ever had. Both really plain and oddly greasy. The "free" dessert was in the smallest container I've ever seen--like the type of container for salad dressing. The employee discount was also not valid if you dont have a physical ID EVEN IF you have other forms of proof of employment.
