20/10! Ordered the Thai tea with boba, it was brought to me first then within 8 minutes of me sitting down the food is done! Flavorful! Yummmm. I go to school across the street and they never fail to fill me up before heading home. Now what really set me up to make this my pho spot was the guy behind the counter, he charged my phone while i waited so i could use my Apple Pay!! 20/10 for customer service that's ON POINT! Quick, yummy, and nice people. Definitely worth the stop!

Food is fair, I ordered the house pho medium bowl with the daily special combo! Pho soup was good but the meat was too hard to chew. I was so hungry I just swallowed it down. They steam bean sprouts free of charge, if necessary. Pink lemonade is good. Two spring rolls were excellent. Flan is really tiny, I honestly thought it would be a little bigger. Service is okay. I do love the busy atmosphere ambiance, I do plan on going back again!

Came back with a party of 8. Called ahead to make reservations and when we got there, our table was ready and our waitress was ready to take our order. This time around, I opted for a vermicelli dry dish. I think it was #40? We also ordered the fresh spring rolls and fried rolls as well as Thai tea (buy 2 get one free) we ordered 4 :) got 2 free :) boba was 50 cents extra for each drink- which isn't bad compared to other boba spots in the same center. This is my 3rd time here and I've enjoyed my food every visit.

We haven't been to Pho Hai for a while because we always have Vietnamese food in Rowland Heights. Pho Hai is located in a plaza right across Mt. Sac (Mt. San Antonio College) and it's next to Taco Nazo and Scoopz Premium ice cream. Hubby and I ordered Pho Dac Biet (Special Vietnamese noodle soup with rare steak, flank, tendon & tripe $16 for large size) and grilled pork spring rolls (4 pcs for $10.50) for late-night dinner. The rare steak quality was so fresh and delicious and the broth was on point and flavorful but we didn't feel too thirsty afterwards. The grilled pork spring rolls were also good and they made the wrap so thin. We will go back there again when we crave Vietnamese food. The price was also fair. Service was okay. (PS We redeemed the free Coke by checking in on Yelp but the server forgot to give us and we had to remind him)

Order with NO onion and no cilantro!

Raining day, order to go. Was not the preference place. But is the closest. Called couple of times, no one answer the phone. Tried 1 last time and finally someone answers. Order a soup noodles, requested NO onion, NO cilantro. The lady repeated the order, everything was correct. When arrived home, open my orders, there were lots of onion and cilantro. (See photos) Call them...they ask me to bring it back and exchange it for me. Kidding me, is was pouring rain. Was going to toss away, but it Cost almost $20 for that soup noodles, I picked out every single green! What if I'm allergic to the greens? Shouldn't they just credit it back to my credit card or have a better solution? Will not go back nor recommend this place. Food is very bland. $20 noodle...not worth it!

We went to a Sunday lunch at Pho Hai which is located at a plaza right across the street of Mt. Sac. The restaurant serves pretty wide variety of Vietnamese cuisine. The decoration is traditional and eatery style. It is a mom-and-pop restaurant serving authentic Vietnamese food. Service is quick and friendly. We ordered bun Bo hue, ingredients and noodles are fine the soup base is lacking spiciness. And crispy noodles Mi Xao Gion, it's flavorful, crispy, with good amount of ingredients and sauce!

My friend and I were really hungry after visiting many stores for a house project. Came here many times before but recently service was just okay and food seemed just okay too. When the service is mediocre, even food seems to taste mediocre.

the food was delicious! there weren't a lot of people when we came here at night for dinner, so that's a plus! we will definitely come back in the near future for some yummy pho!

Ordered through Grubhub and loved that they offer tofu spring rolls for an affordable price. For 4pcs for $13. I wish they also included fish sauce though instead of just peanut sauce. It was wrapped nicely and none of the rolls stuck on each other (no rips).

The Kobe beef pho is hands down the best tasting i've ever had ! The guy was super professional and helped keep everything coming out hot and fresh. This is the go to spot if your looking for a chill home-made meal !

Pho Hai is a pho restaurant located in Walnut. It's located in a plaza with a large parking lot and lots of other food locations. The shop itself has a good amount of seating inside and a restroom. The store itself was clean and service was good. The food came out quickly and everything was hot. Overall, ambiance and service was as expected. Food We ordered the #5, the #6, and the B1. The pho was $13 for a medium and $14 for a large and the banh mi was $10. For the price, the portions were big. The pho was pretty tasty especially when you add in chili, lime, and toppings. Definitely opt for the larger portion. The meat wasn't the greatest quality but it was a filling meal. The banh mi was very tasty and had a nice crunch to it; definitely recommend. Overall, the food was good and definitely try them out. Overall: 4.2 The ambiance + service: 4.5/5 The food: 4/5 The price: $$

My spouse wanted to check out this small Pho place across from Mt. Sac. college. Ordered 1. Daily special combo -it comes with soup choice (item #1-10) along with egg rolls OR shrimp and pork eggroll, a drink and a homemade flan. Ordered #1 - Pho Dac Biet Xe Lua - The flavor of the soup was good not the best. 2. Chicken baguette - It was perfectly warm delicious crunchy sandwich. The marinated chicken was different and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. The only reason for one less star is because of the price. Overall, we enjoyed our meal.

I ordered a house special pho, egg rolls and Vietnamese hot coffee with condensed milk. I was expecting the pho comes out first as usually that's the case since the soup is ready made, pho noodle doesn't take long to cook. but the egg rolls actually came out first piping hot. I was also pleasantly surprised that I can taste some meat inside the egg rolls. Pho and coffee came about the same time. pho noodle was standard size with enough pho noodle (still too much for my taste). the beef slices do have some pink (raw) color when it was served. soup was flavorful enough. coffee was too sweet for my taste. I even asked for more coffee to dilute the sweetness but didn't help much. total bill was around $26+tips for 1 person.

Highly recommend this. Chicken Satay: This is our other favorite dishes. The chicken is tender and well seasoned. This is a great alternative for their popular crying tiger in terms of the portion and pricing. Papaya Salad: I was a bit disappointed with this. The papaya salad is lack of flavoring (specifically the garlic taste). It's not very marinated. Tom Yum Soup: We got a small bowl of the seafood tom yum soup. The portion is great for 2 people, but don't expect too much seafood from it. The flavor is good, so it's still a great soup option. Non-Sweet Sticky Rice: Unlike other places, their sticky rice is served as a dessert, you can still taste the coconut flavor. Most other traditional Thai places serve sticky rice as unsweetened and plain (i.e., jasmine rice soaked overnight). Not really mad about this. The service was absolutely amazing. We made a reservation ahead of time to avoid waiting in line. I'm glad we did because there were already people waiting when we arrived at 6pm. The restaurant is very clean and cozy. Overall, Basil & co. is a great Thai restaurant option in town, but I wouldn't say it is the BEST Thai restaurant I ever had.

However, we were told they stop seating guests after 8:30 PM and that arriving at 8:24 was "too close" to that cutoff. This was frustrating and confusing, as we technically arrived before their stated seating deadline. We dine here frequently and have always enjoyed our experiences, which made this situation especially disappointing. Being turned away despite arriving within what appears to be the acceptable window felt misleading and uncharacteristic of the service we've come to expect. If the kitchen or staff need to stop seating earlier than what customers would reasonably expect based on closing time, that policy should be made much clearer upfront.
