Charbroiled Pork & Egg Roll Vermicelli
    Erika T.

Large space with open space. This was my first time ordering a vermicelli dry dish so I can't really complain. The amount of protein was solid but the egg rolls were ok. I was pretty filled by the end of my meal. I'd come back for a quick viet fix whenever I'm in the area.

Place is clean and enough space for big party. I came here for lunch. Ordered one pho and one rice dish. #1 House Special Noodle - Broth is light and flavorful - Portion is great #37 Charbroil Pork Chop Plate - Hugh portion - Tasty but just a bit oily once food gets cold Iced coffee - STRONG Service is fast and did check on you if you need anything else.

Came here for dinner with some friends after a hike in Chino Hills. I was really craving a comforting bowl of noodle soup and this place definitely delivered. We were greeted and sat immediately. I was pleased with the amount of older Asians inside the restaurant, which seemed to be a millennial gray renovated American diner style vibe. The servers were quick and efficient our entire meal, but be prepared to flag someone down if it's busy and you need something. My boyfriend decided to get an avocado milk shake, a must for him. For an entree he ordered the #46 charbroiled pork, shrimp, and egg roll rice vermicelli. The table decided to share #69 spring rolls and #70 egg rolls. For myself I got the #11 slices of eye round steak pho. Everything was out super quickly. The spring rolls were fresh and packed well. They were delicious with the peanut dipping sauce. The egg rolls were my favorite part of the meal and some of the best Vietnamese egg rolls I've ever had. Large, extra crispy, super flavorful, and served with a good amount of fresh herbs and veggies. I'm a sucker for a good Vietnamese egg roll!! The pho was also excellent. A huge size and lots of veg. The broth was very savory. Nothing to complain about. My boyfriend and I shared our entrees. His rice vermicelli was also flavorful from the sauce but also from the charbroiled meat. Everything was amazing! Exactly what I was wanting and fulfilled my craving. Would come back again.

We got the number 10 pho and the spring rolls. The pho was really good and got a lot of meat. The spring rolls were also tasty, I really enjoyed the peanut sauce. The servers were friendly and our food came out pretty quickly. The interior was cute, well decorated and looked very clean.

By far the Best Viet/Thai Food in Diamond Bar. They have some new Items plus the traditional Pho , Bahn Mi . Cannot go wrong with this place !!!!!!!!

To be completely honest, the food is good but the service is not it. You sit down and literally have to wave down the servers to get you started on drinks! And plus they add so much gratuity for parties of 8 or more and the service sucks so how does that even make sense! I say save your moneys worth and go somewhere else.

My hubby and I have coming to this location for the past 3 yrs. We love the convenience of it being so close to home & the quality is great. They recently revamped their menu to add some new food, drink and dessert items they've been working on for the past 2 yrs. Feels more elevated! Service is always consistent w super nice servers. Would recommend for all to try.

I'm returning for several times. It's always nice food and quality service here. This time I was recommended with a new coffee by Alyssa (she works here and provides perfect service). The coffee is worth to try.

This place is a family fave and has become a staple in our dinner rotation! Even though we've been here many times, we came in today and saw a whole new menu and were thoroughly impressed. I tried the new salmon spring rolls and was blown away by the presentation. Despite having fried fish inside, the rolls are fresh and light and the sauce is the right amount of tangy and savory. We also tried the lychee lemonade and instantly wanted more! Shoutout to our favorite server Alyssa for always being so kind and sweet :)

Located in a big plaza. So parking was not an issue. The restaurant was quite large but only indoor seatings. The interior lighting was one of the brightest i have ever seen, its like an expo. The food was served within timely manner and the service was ok. The soup was hot and fresh. It was good, and it did not leave some strange MSG taste in my buds. Overall, its not bad, not great either. It was a Ok. Its a 3.8 out of 5 in my book.

    Bone marrow soup!

We have been here several times as a family and always enjoy the great food and wonderful customer service. You have to try the bone marrow soup, the portion is perfect for sharing and I love how they show you how to eat it and make an onion dish to pair it with. Today we had their new dish, the tofu tacos! Refreshing and great flavor! We also tried the fried chicken wings with passion fruit spicy sauce. Yum! You can't go wrong with the house special pho and fried egg rolls. Their customer service is on point. The owner comes to check on you and our server Febie is super sweet! We will definitely be back and will try the other dishes too! Thank you!

It offers a generous portion of tender, juicy meat and springy, fresh noodles. "DELICIOUS!!" I arrived at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) on Sunday (around 11AM). Parking is easy. The lot is big with many spots. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, but Staff spoke limited English. Fortunately, pointing at the menu was clear enough. The food took eight minutes and nine seconds. Fast time! As mentioned, the Beef Rib Noodle Soup ($16.50 - Mild) is wonderful! It arrived picturesque and delicious!! However, despite ordering "mild," the food has a very strong heat; I sweat nonstop as I ate. The broth is rich, savory, and spicy. The meat is tender, flavorful, and falls off the bone. And the noodles are hefty, soft, and springy. It's a wonderful, euphoric combination of flavors and textures. Concerning ambiance, No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights) is surprisingly spacious with its tall ceiling and relatively clean surroundings. However, its walls and furniture look worn down with time. Some seats even had torn holes. Unfortunately, the music uses radio with constant commercials playing in the background. Fortunately, there's a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I found culinary magic at No. 1 Noodle House (Rowland Heights). The food is fresh, generously portioned, and well-prepared. I left full with a bright smile. If you enjoy spicy beef noodle soup, this is a must-try! 5 out of 5!! "GO!!"

What I liked, soup base clear, had hints of Sand Ginger, Umami Bone Broth, hints of cinnamon, heavy parsley/ cilantro, fennel, star anise, black cardamom, white peppercorns, mmmm, I can taste the broth even now, 2 days after that meal, very distinct, and when paired with their in-house chilli oil, not the one on the table, the actual spicy one they exclusively keep inside the kitchen, you can taste the additional layers to the chilli oil and it just brings the entire LanZhou Noodles to a whole another level. The lamb Rou Jia Mou was really filling. I liked the quantity, not overtly big, not too greasy, and had just the right amount of protein to keep the dish an appetizer, as you await the main course. Pickedled Sweet Kimchi Cabbage was also very enjoyable, although I prefer the in house ones made at Yumi Time in City of Industry better crispiness to the bite in their version and more balanced taste. A solid four, because I'm biased. Having worked with two extremely talented masters in Phoenix Arizona, I've tasted what could be the best LanZhou Noodles and Best Xiao Long Bao any seasoned restaurant staff could ask for. My former colleague Hand Pulled Noodle Master chef Shuai used to head the reknown LanZhou Noodles place in Gaithersburg Maryland serving up all those Ambassadors, Lobbyists, DC Politicians, and when we were in Phoenix Arizona, along with Pastry / Flour Dim Sum Master Chef Sister Ying, we concocted probably the best Xiao Long Bao / Rou Jia Mou and LanZhou Hand Pulled Noodles to ever grace the lands of Arizona and in my opinion, was far superior than any other place in Los Angeles. But again that's just me. I'm biased and I've been blessed to sit down, and have worked with some of the best small kitchen crews and experience great staff meals. And this leads to me to my conclusion: Yes, I'm putting this restaurant officially on my #2 for Chinese Noodle Soups in LA. This place will from now on be in my casual rotation. A no frills, real, down to Earth Noodle Shop. Why I like it? Just the overall setting doesn't try too much. On the surface it looks really plain, boring, not much to expect. But once you try it, it just suddenly makes sense, this can be your go-to Pho shop but for LanZhou Noodles and certain types of Cumin Lamb Chow Mein. #1 Corner Beef Noodle House in El Monte #2 Lan Noodle in West Covina

We also ordered their steamed rice rolls with shrimp and chive and you can tell it was made fresh by the wrinkles in the rice paper. The last item we ordered was their chinese sausage clay pot. The price point for the delicious food is competitive. We got French-style filet mignon ($18.99), braised tofu in brown sauce ($14.99), chicken chow mein ($14.99), and a steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork ($5.99). A pot of rice was included in our meal. The steamed rice noodle roll with barbecue pork was a nice appetizer that arrived first. I enjoyed how the French-style filet mignon was garnished with Thai basil, black pepper, and ginger. The meat was flavorful and tender. The braised tofu in brown sauce was consistently hot on the inside. The delicious brown sauce soaked throughout the vegetables. The chicken chow mein didn't have a lot of sauce, but it was still delicious with a lot of meat included. Overall, it would be nice to visit again outside of a peak time because the food prices are competitive. The menu is expansive, and the breakfast selections look interesting. The atmosphere during the Sunday lunch peak time was consistently bustling. I think the restaurant started to play Chinese music loudly at random points so that people could finish dining more quickly.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming--nothing overly fancy, just a cozy spot that lets the food speak for itself. The menu has a great variety, but what really stands out is how consistent and flavorful everything is. Each dish comes out fresh, hot, and packed with that classic home-style taste that's hard to find these days.
