There are a lot of Thai restaurants around the area but this one stands out to me the most. The restaurant is very clean and modern. The menu is extensive and packed with so much flavor! Khao Soi- hearty noodle soup with a curry like broth. It comes with egg noodles and your choice of protein. I love, love this dish. Thai Boat Noodle- most places skimp on the meat but there is so much meat here! A comforting dish if you're sick. Chicken Satay- moist chicken with two delicious accompanying sauces. Easy appetizers for kids! E-San Sausage- perfectly grilled sausage that is so good by itself or with rice. Tom Yum Fried Rice- good flavor and my kids surprisingly really enjoyed this dish. Drunken noodles- possibly my least favorite dish from here. The noodles were all stuck together and compared to everything else, it was quite bland. Visited this establishment a few weeks ago because we wanted thai food in the area. Parking was easy and got seated immediately as we got there right when they opened on a Sunday morning. Came across this restaurant while going to get coffee. We got the chicken satay and yellow curry with chicken (mild). The chicken satay was white meat, tenders on a skewer. Only ran into one tendon. It came with peanut sauce which was very oily but good flavor and a cucumber salad that lacked cucumber. The cucumber salad contained was 80% liquid, 15% onion and 5% cucumber. Literally 5 tiny diced cubes of cucumber. The yellow curry had good depth of flavor and the chicken was sliced extra thin. Unfortunately the jasmine rice that came with it was wet, mushy and a bit overcooked. Not what I'm used to for jasmine rice which is normally fluffy and on the dryer side. read more

We waited for maybe 5 minutes....no employee to be seen. My dad ended up wandering to the back to look for someone and she sat us. Seems like she is the only waitress. Menu had plenty of choices. The waitress only gave us two menus for a party of 6 which was a bit hard to share. Vegan options available. I got the Pad Thai with tofu and no egg ($15). This was great. Flavor was on point and is the flavor I'm looking for in a pad Thai. Portion sizes were inconsistent for the same dish though...my sister-in-law ordered a Pad Thai with egg and her noodle amount was probably 1.5x mine. My vegan partner got the stir fried broccoli. He wasn't expecting it to be Chinese broccoli since that wasn't specified on the menu, while the other dishes with Chinese broccoli specifically stated that. Unfortunately the Chinese broccoli was extremely bitter. But plenty of tofu in the dish. Lastly, we had a mango sticky rice to share at the end. Now this was worth the $12. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for quite a while but never got the chance too. Thai food is one of our go-to for comfort food and we've been to many around this area. We came a few minutes before it was open on a Saturday and just waited outside looking at their menu. At slightly over 11am, the employee unlocked the door, turned the Open sign on and went back behind the counter. We tried to open the door but couldn't so we figure maybe they're not ready yet. The employee was inside and didn't do anything. We tried 2 more times and still couldn't. A few minutes later another patron came and was able to open the door. And yes, it was quite on the heavy side, like you had to kinda yank it open. The said employee might have a bad day or something (which is understandable as we all have bad days). I asked what's their favorite dish, she was snappy and said Pad Thai! I asked whether the Thai Curry Soft Shell Crab is more like soupy or stir fried and she said it's curry stir fry! After we placed our to-go order, we sat down at one of the nearest tables by the counter and she very unkindly said: you can't sit here. Sit there! Pointing at the 3 chairs by the entrance. Wow, I've rarely been treated this badly with such an attitude before. I could overlook it and thought if the food is good, I'm all good. When our order was ready she just called us and said: hey! It's ready! Well service is 0/5 for sure. Now on to the food. We ordered (chinese) broccoli with crispy pork, Thai curry soft shell crab, crab fried rice, pad kee mow with chicken, and mango sticky rice. The crispy pork on the chinese broccoli were all too dry and came in broken little pieces. A few of the stems were brownish in color, a sign of not fresh ingredients. The taste is decent. I figure well maybe they didn't quite pay attention on the ingredients since I was the 2nd customer of the day. Up until we left, there were no customer dining in and there were 2 other to-go orders. The Thai curry soft shell crab taste like sweet curry. Very minimal spices and just pure sugary curry. The soft shell crab is fine but the curry is overpoweringly sweet! Somewhat ok is the crab fried rice where they gave quite a good amount of real crab. The pad kee mow is ok too although both of these dishes are more bland in taste compared to the same dishes in other restaurant. The mango sticky rice shouldn't be sold if the mango is unripe. The sticky rice is yummy but the mango is sour and unripe. It's very clear to me that they don't care about the quality of the food and just sell whatever. They didn't ask if we need any condiments or cutlery. I didn't want to ask for too much as it's obvious that the employee was in a very bad mood and was snappy and unfriendly. I won't be coming back here again. I can tolerate bad service for good food but this restaurant offers none. We have tried glass noodle salad, pineapple fried rice, crispy pork tom yum soup and mango sticky rice. The food was a bit bland for Thai food. The best was the mango sticky rice. I've been meaning to try Siam Station for a while and finally got the chance on a Sunday night. I've got to be honest, it was a little surprising to walk in and see the place completely empty. It gave the vibe a slightly eerie feel at first. However, the setup is really nice. Very well decorated. Read some reviews mentioning the portions were small, and I'd say they're about average, maybe just a touch under. We kept it simple and ordered the pad Thai and pad see ew--both were pretty standard, nothing that blew me away but nothing to complain about either. The kapow with chicken was pretty tasty, though it landed on the saltier side for me. I think the main thing is that for what you get, everything feels a little on the expensive side. There's not really one thing that makes it stand out from other spots. Hopefully they can maybe adjust the prices or bump up those portions a bit to really justify it. Siam Station was a hit! We love our share of Thai food and always enjoy their flavorful curry options. Siam Station was able to deliver. We came by on weekday night for some dinner. They are centrally located in a busy complex. You'll easily see their sign driving down Golden Springs Dr. The restaurant has stand out decor and vibrantly colored tables and booths. The menu has your popular items and also the not so common options that not every Thai restaurant serves. We decided on the Khao Soi with beef. ($16), the Crab Fried Rice ($20) and the Larb Chicken Salad ($14). All items were a hit! We never tried Larb chicken before but it has amazingly flavorful! The flavors give you a refreshing bite each time. Their crab fried rice was solid. Their Khao Soi is tremendous! Rich and creamy flavors with a hearty portion. The crab fried rice paired with all our items and the egg on top is always a must. Everything is family style and shareable. The portions were great and we had leftovers for home. Got to try many items from panang curry to papaya salad to beef salad to chicken pad-thai and beef pad se ew (beef is +$3). We were craving Thai food today, so we ordered pick-up orders from Siam Station in Diamond Bar. It's located on Golden Springs inside a strip plaza. We ordered a Thai papaya salad ($14), Pad See Ew with filet mignon ($15+ $3 for filet mignon), and Pad Thai chicken ($15x2). It was my first time going there, and the ambiance was modern, comfortable, and clean. Pad See Ew was flat rice noodles stir-fried with broccoli, egg, and dark soy sauce. We paid an extra $3 for the filet mignon, but they were tender and flavorful. We liked the papaya salad the most; the flavor was on point. It had fresh papaya, tomato, green bean, Thai chili, crushed peanut, and dried shrimp. Pad Thai was thin rice noodles with egg, bean sprouts, green onions, and homemade sauce topped with roasted peanuts. The taste was perfect and addictive. Chicken meat was tender in small slices. I want to start off by saying that I usually love the food at Siam Station. I had a bad experience today. While I do believe it's an isolated incident, these things shouldn't happen because it's a safety issue. I ordered dinner through UberEats (3 main dishes + 1 appetizer). The appetizer I ordered was the fried tofu. Unfortunately, the tofu was spoiled and sour!!! At first, I thought it was the sauce, so I actually swallowed a bite, but then quickly realized it was the tofu itself that went bad. Upon contacting the restaurant, I didn't want to demand and refunds or anything, but the girl answering the phone just said "thank you for letting us know." :( Slightly disappointed in their response because I felt like serving spoiled food to customers is a pretty big deal/health hazard and should not happen in this day and age. read more

Had no idea there was a Siam Station in this plaza until Yelping Thai restaurants around the area. Placed an order online and it was ready within 10 minutes on a weekday afternoon. Pad Thai ($15): Stir fried rice noodles with sliced chicken, bean sprouts, green onion, eggs in a sweet and savory tamarind sauce. Generally comes with crushed peanuts on the side we omitted that due to an allergy. Very solid Pad Thai, not to sweet and decent portion sizes. Siam Station actually has legit Thai food. Its flavors go beyond any Thai restaurant I've had. It's so so good they even have Khao Soi which is a northern Thai dish which i find is difficult to find in the states and they nailed it. That and the curry, Tom Yum, and fried rice everything is delicious. Service is fast and ambiance is nice. But still more appealing than the dried flavorless chicken in the pad thai - Tom yum soup with prawns: This was well seasoned - sour, slightly spicy. the prawns were huge! - Green Thai tea: this was okay Pros: - Space was big and clean, lots of seating. - Little to no wait. I've been looking for a thai place that really hits the spot close to home, and I'm happy to say Siam Station delivers on all fronts. We came in for a casual lunch and were seated quickly and the front staff were very friendly in explaining the menu and helping us choose our dishes. I went with the Pad See Ew, which was very tasty. The noodles had that perfect wok-seared smokiness, the sauce was rich and savory without being too salty, coating every bite with deep umami, and the tofu they had were cooked perfectly. The surprise standout though was their sausage. I wasn't expecting much for an appetizer, but the sausage was flavored perfectly and just the right mix of herbs and spice making it incredibly satisfying and very hard to stop eating. I was excited to try this restaurant for the first time but was extremely disappointed by my experience. I ordered Pad See Ew and Mango Sticky Rice. While eating the Pad See Ew, I bit into something hard it turned out to be a quartz rock. Upon checking the rest of my food, I found two sharp wooden pieces mixed in as well. This was shocking and completely ruined my appetite. I called the restaurant immediately and was told a manager would follow up, but I never received a call back. The lack of care or acknowledgment after such a serious incident was very disappointing, especially from a place I had been recommending to friends and family. I truly hope they take food safety and customer service more seriously in the future. Pad Thai: 10/10 tastes better than most pad Thai I have in diamond bar. Portion is slightly bigger than basil co. The price is the same. Party of two are there for dinner plus one dish to go. One waitress is taking care of the whole restaurant. She is very friendly and patience. We ordered pad see ew, pad Thai, Thai boat noodle, and fried rice to go. For some reason all the dishes come out very well presentation wise, but lack of wok fire power and taste is kind of bland on all dishes. It can be fixed, so this is more of 3.5 star ratings. I have heard of Siam Station in Irvine, so I was excited to try this in Diamond Bar. This place is in the same plaza as the Mr Dragon, but that place is always too crowded; that's how I ended up trying this place. It was empty when I went, and I didn't really know what to get. I got a chicken satay and drunken noodles. Eating the chicken satay was a little awkward since I had to get used to eating it off the skewer while doing it in the peanut sauce. I'm sure I stabbed my mouth a couple of times but it tasted good. The drunken noodles were what I expected, and the basil flavor was very pronounced. Both tasted pretty flavorful imo. The best Thai restaurant in Diamond Bar. We have been there a few times. The food and service was consistent and very good every single time! The server was friendly and always checked in with us to see how we were doing. It doesn't get too busy here so you don't have to worry about beating a crowd. Tried this new Thai place in the area and my husband and I were blown away with how fresh and delicious each plate was! We started with the shrimp chips which were surprisingly delicious! The Thai tea and blue flower Thai tea were freshly made in house and very good. I get my normal pad see eww with beef which tasted very light and cooked well, not too greasy. Nice looking place with good Thai food. Tried the green curry with chicken and the Pad See Yew with chicken. Both were tasty and spicy enough without being overwhelming (medium level spiciness). Portions were good, too and prices are reasonable. Also got half off an order of mango sticky rice (not sure how that happened, but yay!) - and it hit the spot for dessert. Service was good and the guy was funny and nice - it seemed like he was the only one waiting tables, so sometimes it took a little time to get his attention.
