Best Pho Đặc Biệt I've had in a while. The tripe was excellent and meat balls are superbly superior to other pho places. Broth was also excellent. Very friendly staff too. Will def be returning

I was craving some pho after the gym so I came to Pho DJ. When I walked inside, the older gentleman directed me very politely to sit at table 1. I ordered the #3 pho with tendon, brisket, and tripe. It was absolutely delicious, the broth was extremely flavorful and the meat was tasty and tender. The only con I would say is they serve slightly too many noodles per bowl and the broth gets soaked up a bit, not that serious. The older woman and man who I presume to be the owners were extremely kind. I WILL be back!!

Disgusting. I went in today for some pho and egg rolls, the pho was fine but the egg rolls were not it. when I received them there was hair on it, absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. I told the guy about it and he saw the hair on my food and told me that they were perfectly fine and still good to eat, I tried to be nice about it and get a new set of egg rolls but he didn't want to and told me that ill be okay and that the egg rolls are delicious. what kind of business is this. they still decided to charge me afterwords too. don't come here unless you want hair in your food where they will still want you to eat it for your money, never coming again.

The customer service is horrible here- at least if you are interacting with the Female that answers the phone and takes your orders at the cashier. I attempted to place a telephone order for Boba milk tea but she rushed me off the phone and told me just to come in to place my order instead of going over the flavors they had over the phone. When I arrived she was on the phone having a personal conversation and seemed inconvenienced to have to take my order. I repeated to her twice that I wanted Taro (once as she walked away from me still on the phone). I sat and waited for my drinks to come out. When they were ready she walked out and placed the drinks on a random table (not where i was seated) and didn't once glance or address me to let me know they were mine. Keep in mind I was looking for a purple/ lavender looking drink and these were light brown. The Man that also works there noticed I had been waiting for a while and asked me if I had been helped. I mentioned I was waiting for my drinks. The lady above then came rushing out and pointed at the drinks sitting at this vacant table and said those are your drinks and then walked away again without much further. I took the drinks home thinking maybe their Taro was super light in the purple color but there was not hint of taro flavor. The drink was light brown in color. The flavor was dilute. I took a picture for this review specifically and moved on. Until today, my wife without prior knowledge of my above mentioned experience told me she tried their Pho this morning after donating plasma next door. She had a similar experience from the lady. The pho itself the flavor was "okay" not enough broth too much noodles. She said she just tasted noodles. Can't speak for the food myself though.

Had never had pho before until now and it was a great experience! The owners were very nice and accommodating despite us coming in 45 minutes before close and the food came out very fast! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining area was very clean as well and well stocked with condiments.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Oh boy was the food great! The broth, meat, veggies everything was super fresh and almost rejuvenating i felt like a new man after eating. Great deal too man i only paid 32 for two bowls one being the xl #1 pho bowl and second #21 chicken pho bowl. Great experience, Great place, extremely underrated. Going to be coming back very often

Today I ordered Vietnamese iced coffee, with condensed milk as opposed to black (the menu gives you this choice). It was $4, plus 75¢ for paying with a card (yikes, my bad), and they could not take my Discover card but Visa was fine. It tasted good and made me happy. I love to see how different places make their Viet coffee. This place makes freshly crushed ice for your coffee, which fills the plastic cup to the top with ice. For me, I have a feeling I'm getting less liquid with this kind of ice but I haven't done any experimenting to confirm. I have eaten here before and enjoyed the spring rolls, too.

Got the #13. Pretty good but a little bland: the front desk lady was a bit rude :/ over all 3/5

I went here to try a new pho place in Riverside and the pho was not that good. It was hard to order and the service was okay. They raised their prices but you only find out once you're there and on top of that you get charged a card fee. I paid $17 for a small chicken pho. I usually go to Pho81 in Riverside and will stick by it from now on! read more

I yelped my way to a local Pho restaurant and was not dissapointed. We were greeted and sat down right away. The very nice lady behind the register brought us a couple menus and took our drink order. We both had the Thai tea, but I selected to have mine made with coconut milk; bonus for even having that option. I ordered the beef stew and hubby had the combination Pho. Both bowls looked and tasted amazing, the broth in my beef stew was very flavorful and did not need anything to accessorize it. The best part about this place is the genuine and attentive service, reason alone to come back. read more

Best pho in town!!! I've been to a lot of pho places this one's got every single one of them beat. Their pho broth is AMAZING, their veggie egg rolls AMAZING, idk their food is delicious, you'll have to come and try it on your own. Also English is not their main language so please be patient. read more

Ordered take out. Flavor appears to be there but my pho was so oily it was not edible. I literally was sipping on oil. Considering that it was take out, I couldn't return it and didn't have dinner. I couldn't even call because they were closed by the time my husband got home. I really wanted to love this and clearly eat it, but it was too oily. The egg rolls were great though. Loved those! read more

So happy I found this place! I come to this area once a week for a community group I'm in, and wanted to see if there was a pho place nearby to stop at beforehand. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly and truly cared about their patrons. Food comes out right away, and was very delicious pho (and I'm picky with high standards, the pho places where I live suck). Great broth. I will be sure to come back frequently! read more

Honestly disappointed at the female employee present tonight. We ordered two entrees and asked for containers to serve ourselves the seed sauce to take to go . She provided us with 2 pre filled packets. I asked for five more because we like our food spicy.She looked at me and said no . I told her I could pay for it and she said no and then proceeded to give me two packets when the other employee tried to step in . At that point I just decided to take it and leave. Definitely upsetting receiving bad customer service when you genuinely enjoy their food . read more

First of all no one wants to walk into a restaurant that smells like SEWAGE! Ican only imagine what the food would taste like, sat down then realized the stench of sewage. NO THANK YOU! so we walked out and went to Sushi Ok instead. Honestly if your going to run a Restaurant start off by fixing the sewage problem because that's Literally Money down the drain and your establishment will not last Toodles! Edit: what a suprise, NOT! ever since i posted my review for this place and did not want to even spend a dime because of the sewage smell in the restaurant, people have been SO GENEROUS about the food reviews, hey Followers and readers alike dont be surprised If they give you free food or a discount for a 5 STAR REVIEW! Absolutely horrible customer service! I drove from Menifee because I use to live in Riverside and really enjoy their Pho. Ordered Pho and Spring Rolls to go. Came home and opened up the Spring Rolls and they just completely fell apart. They weren't wrapped all the way around with the rice paper so as soon as you pick it up it basically fell apart. I called the restaurant and spoke with the man that takes the orders and explained what had happened and he flat out told me "he didn't care"! Mind you I wasn't asking him for anything...I was simply telling him that they need to be more careful. So disappointed with the poor attitude. Make sure to check your orders prior to leaving because once you leave "he doesn't care". I will never give them my money again. read more

Wowowow. This place is phenomenal. The Pho is amazing. It's perfect for any weather. The portions are large. They do not skimp out on meats by giving you more noddles. Absolutely love it! Food is well presented with good quantity and quality. Spring rolls were fresh as was the pho. Vermicelli bowl was fantastic too. Drink options are good too. Love their Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee Service was excellent, super friendly staff. Prices very reasonable and plenty of parking in the plaza Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a warm bowl of pho to fill you up. Definitely a place to come back on a daily basis. This place doesn't even deserve a star. We were sitting for at least 15 mins before someone came up to us telling us it's 7:30 rushing us to order( it was 7:15) , i immediately felt her rude attitude and wanted to leave but we decided to stay bc we didn't want to be rude. The food was flavorless and greasy, I'm aware we came in late BUT THE CUSTOMER service was AWFUL , IDC if you're closing soon there's no need to be rude to your customers, they could've denied us service as soon as we walked in if it was gonna be such an issue, we would've completely understood. Later that night my friend threw up and GOT FOOD POISONING!! NOT OKAY!! I hope this helps and saves someone else from going. read more

Just come back again the other day. The food still amazing and the staff is still friendly as usual. I got bun thit nuong. Very delicious!! There is nothing better to beat the heat with this dish. Please get the Thai tea as well. I can taste the tea not like many other place only the milk sugar and color. Anyway I will continue coming back when I am around the area. read more

We live around the corner and I had kept reading the great reviews so had to come and check it out. Definitely recommend for others to try it. We love coming here for Pho and Spring Rolls. We've been coming here for years and have honestly never been disappointed. The place may not look like too much, but this is one of our favorite places. We often get the Shrimp Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce, Brisket Pho, and Vietnamese Chicken Salad. The food is delicious, the prices are fair, and there is plenty of parking. The timing is also extremely convenient. We virtually always order ahead and get our food within 15-20 minutes. It's always still hot and delicious or cool and crisp by the time we get home to eat it. The people who work there are very kind and helpful. I've never had a bad experience here and will continue to get food here! read more

I've been coming here for years now and I only like coming here because it's the only place that has beef stew. Customer service isn't always that great. But today I just had it with them. They are rude, not polite at all. We even hesitated to ask for stuff we needed they are always upset well at least the lady always looks pissed off. Well today I came in with my kids and my sister and her kids. And as soon as one of the kids got up they told them to sit back down or one was talking and they kept telling them to just eat (it's not like they were running around) they have no patience with kids at all. I have a 1 year old and he was feeding him self and of course kids are messy eating let alone a 1 year old. And I'm a waitress myself so I always clean after my kids because it's my kids mess so I don't mind. But today my son accidentally threw his plate on the floor and it made of mess of rice and the gentleman came up to me and said look at the mess he did and I responded "don't worry I'll pick it up" which I was trying to and as I was trying to clean he said don't worry I'll clean it up. Like okay why are you telling me he made a mess I know he did and I was going to clean it up when I finished my food but he just came to me telling me. Idk if it's just me but never have I told a customer about any mess their kids have done I just simply clean it once they are gone. I was so upset and cried out of anger and he still asked what was wrong!!! read more

We've become semi-regulars here. We go at least once a month. Pho is outstanding (my wife swears by the vegetarian...the broth!), I love their vermicelli with char pork and egg rolls. Our favorite and now only place for Pho. The broth is rich and flavorful, even the veggie broth which is what I normally order, is flavorful and not watered down at all. The vegetables are always abundant and fresh and they will add and take out what you request. The veggie egg rolls are also a must. They're super fried, so I don't always order them, but they are so good! Extra bonus to this place is the customer service. Everyone is always so kind. Ordering over the phone is easy and your food is usually ready quick. read more

If I could give a zero I would. There was a bug in my pho and when I brought it to the employees they tried convincing me that it's a cinnamon stick piece (because cinnamon sticks have wings), then he used my spoon to pick it up and out of the bowl, wiping the spoon on his finger then put the spoon back in the bowl. Both employees expected to me to continue eating the soup after that and actually tried denying that the guy put his hand on the spoon then back in the bowl. Unclean and unprofessional establishment would not recommend and would not return. I don't understand how this place has a 4 star rating. read more

The food was excellent and priced reasonably. It was not almost $20 for a bowl of pho like some places are now a days. I drove out a little further to get reasonably priced food and it turned out delicious. Will be my Go To for pho and Vietnamese food. Their customer service was awesome too. read more

I'm here visiting and decided to give this place a shot. I ordered just a few randoms that I saw decent reviews on hoping they would be good. Unfortunately I was very disappointed, the food was disappointingly subpar. Everything that was served to us was over cooked, even the rice noodles for our noodle dish. The egg rolls were burnt, spring rolls had very over cooked pork and shrimp which just made them rubbery. The only thing that was at all tasteful was the peanut sauce which i'm sure they get in pre-made! I honestly couldn't eat the food, I ended up just throwing it out. It's safe to say that I won't be coming back nor recommending this restaurant. read more

We offer our special signature Phở-Beef Broth Noodle Soup. Our Beef Broth Noodle Soup is cooked from scratch for at least 20 hours to achieve the most optimal flavor. Our table ordered a variety of their vermicelli bowls (short rib, chicken, grilled pork+shrimp), Pho (special combo and brisket), eggrolls, thai iced tea, and vietnamese iced coffee. Everything we ordered was so delicious and there were generous portions of meat in all of our dishes. The fish sauce that came with the vermicelli bowls was super delicious and tasted so much more flavorful than any other Vietnamese restaurant I've dined at. The pho broth was piping hot and tasted so clean and refreshing. Drinks were also great and I honestly loved everything about today's lunch! I will definitely be coming back with my family and my kids loved all of the food (pho and vermicelli) too!

The worst offender-- the sandwich was dry. Vegan should mean vegan mayo, not no mayo at all. It was sooooo dry. I had to take it home and add my own mayo. I don't hate this restaurant, and I really appreciate the willingness to incorporate a vegan friendly menu. However, the pho and banh mi missed the mark for me. Apparently, the cabinet inside the restroom was empty, so one of the employees had to call another employee for help and they found more in another cabinet outside the restroom. Its like getting a cup of peanut butter that is watery on the top and dry and chunky from the middle down. A sauce like this will not be acceptable in the vietnamese community down in Bolsa. Haha! The coffee was also only okay, didn't finish it. I dont think I would drive out of my way to eat here.

Today I was in riverside and needed to grab some food, wasn't really familiar with the area but just decided to take a chance on this place since the gf wanted Vietnamese food. There were only about 23 reviews yet they seemed positive. After walking in we were free to sit anywhere. The place looked relatively new and seemed quite clean. We ordered a Thai tea to start us off which came in a plastic to go cup and was, to me, good but not great (I guess I'm a sucker for a sweeter thai tea in a glass with less of the bitter tea taste but that's just me). I was a little worried the food would be the same but I was dead wrong. I ordered the vegan plate with crispy egg noodles and gf the beef vermicelli and it was fantastic! The crispy egg noodles seemed fresh and contrasted nicely with the saucy tofu and veggies. I did find the sauce to be on the salty side but really no major complaint unless you're sensitive to that. The tofu was a nice consistency, not too hard not too spongy, and the veggies were crunchy and fresh tasting. The beef vermicelli tasted fresh, the beef was flavorful but not so much to overwhelm the rest of the plate and the egg rolls had just the right amount of crunch and flavor. The noodles were soft and firm but not hard, really just a tasty vermicelli. By the end of the meal gf and I looked up at each other and without speaking had a little, "we chose right" moment. I never write reviews but I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed and will definitely be looking forward to coming back. Also I'm not vegan but I don't eat meat so I was really impressed by all the options they had for non meat eaters since it's usually difficult to find variety and I usually have to opt for some sub par not flavorful tofu pho. read more

Beef Noodles and Meatballs The taste is okay But the pork spring rolls black and burnt and oiled ingested and bitter For my wife and daughter, I ordered grilled pork ribs. But the staff forgot to order into the kitchen so they didn't eat. Called the staff to order again, they said they had to wait another 20 minutes before they could eat. Is it the customer's fault? My daughter was hungry, had to wait another 20 minutes. Service should be improved. I adore this place; the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is fantastic. My go-to is their delicious banh mi you can't go wrong with either beef and pork, and their beef pho is simply amazing. While the Thai tea could be a tad sweeter, it's still delightful.
