2.5 stars. My favorite pho joints are closed on Tuesdays. We ventured to try a new-to-us eatery but unfortunately it didn't scratch the itch for good soup & noodles. Pho Day has aesthetic cafe drinks as well as traditional Vietnamese dishes on the menu. The Thai Tea Einspanner had a thick top layer of sweet cream, but was not sweet or flavorful enough. My food was equally disappointing. The Imperial Rolls had a crisp, bubbly wrapping, but it was an unpleasant surprise to find a mushy filling hiding inside. I didn't particularly like the flavoring of their broth in the Chicken Pho; noodles were thicker than I'm used to; & most offensive were the chopped up pieces of chicken skin & fat that I had to fish out. No plans on returning, but those giving Pho Day a try have quick service & a sweet waiter to look forward to. read more

I haven't been to the physical pho day location, but if you're like me and you like to check yelp reviews when you order from Uber Eats, this is the review for you ! When I crave pho, I always go for this place. The broth is so flavorful and they package it in a great way where everything stays fresh. I usually go for the rare beef which is actually great quality and cooks quickly without losing its tenderness. I also usually get a Thai iced tea which is stellar here. The price has gone up in the last few years, but I definitely still think Pho Day is worth your money. I hope to visit the physical location soon ! read more

This spot is in the neighborhood so it's convenient, but it isn't my favorite. I do like their garlic noodle and protein dishes more than their pho. They are Chinese owned so it's not as authentic. The pho broth is decent but the noodles always have that undercooked starchy taste. I'm bummed that they only have sriracha as their hot sauce as I usually prefer chili oil or sambal. They also don't have sauce ramekins. They close very early and pretty much kick you out half an hour before the listed closing time. I find the food to be somewhat inconsistent as well. read more

For some reason, it's been a year since we had Pho Day. Came to my surprise that the price has significantly increased while the proportions shrunk. I understand times are rough but double negatives? That leaves a sour taste to our meal. Ordered bun Bo hue ($16 in 2024), $20.40 in 2025 through DD. Food still tastes good but my god, I hope this message reaches the owner but please!!! Please!! PLEASE change your soup containers that can actually sustain your boiling soup. I don't know how many times I had complained about the order arriving melted through and my food arrived in a soupy mess. Not to mention I ingest some form of melted plastic with the food. I think commonly ordered food is better than uncommon food. I had wanted beef stew and ordered the Bo Kho. I regretted it because the beef was tough and mostly inedible. I ended up eating only the noodle. I told the waitress about the toughness of the meat and she didn't offer to replace it, which was not a great service. I tried the matcha latte with oat milk, surprisingly good, super foamy and the matcha tastes strong and smooth in a vibrant green color. Found a another good Vietnamese spot near my office. I must have passed by this place a hundred times and never thought to trying it. My mistake. I had the 5-spice chicken with garlic noodles. It is one of my Go To orders, if the restaurant offers it. Fortunately, it was a good choice. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The noodles nice & garlicky. The egg on the noodles was a wonderful bonus. I also ordered the fried egg rolls, which were so good, I thought about ordering another for the road. But, that would have made me feel shameful. Wanted to grab a bite to eat before we headed to Mitchell's ice cream down the street, so we came here to Pho Day. It's a cute little place that could hold quiet a few people. My party of three easily found a spot to sit. We got there early and got the best seats near the window. It doesn't look like much inside; minimal decor, but the food does make up for it. Our server was really nice and our food came out quickly after we ordered. They do seem to get a lot of Ubereats or Doordash because there was a lot of pick ups while we were there (and for a good reason). I had ordered the Beef Stew noodle pho, my gf had the rare steak pho and our friend had gotten the curry chicken pho. We also shared the crispy tofu bai mai sandwich - which they graciously cut into three parts when we asked. I was able to try all three soups, my GF, and friend did to. And they were all really good. The beef stew broth is a little bit more oily, but it's beef stew. I really loved the chunks of meat that came with my pho (for my taste ). I tend to like a lot of fat on the meat. I personally think it's the best part. But it had the perfect ratio of meat to fat, and they were pretty thick slices. My friends curry chicken broth was really good. It was the typical coconut curry style. And my girlfriend always gets the regular pho with rare steak at any Vietnamese restaurant we go to and she really enjoyed this one. I know a lot of people think the broth from the far is water down or doesn't have much depth to it... I still think it's pretty good. You got a lot of noodles, a lot of broth, and you can add in as much Hoisen and Sriracha sauce that you want. But I think the star of the show was that bai mi sandwich. I think every time I've gone to a pho spot I don't get any rice, dishes or cold noodle dishes or sandwiches. It's always pho. But they do something to the tofu in the sandwich. The tofu was crispy but still chewy and soft in the middle. And the seasoning that they put on there - it's just (chef's kiss). And impaired well with the pickled vegetables. The next time I go back, I am definitely going to get that sandwich. I really do recommend this place. Because the price for all of the food, we got, was gold when I think of city prices. I think for all of this, the total bill came out to almost $65. And we still had leftovers! Plus, you are literally a walks away from Mitchell's Ice Cream, which is a really good spot in itself. My roommate and I were so excited to see the restaurant having their soft opening! We called in takeout orders and then walked to the restaurant. My roommate called in her order before me, so her food and drink was ready when we arrived, right when they said it would be. She had asked for a less sweet passion fruit soda, and they were very accommodating to make sure it was to her preference; she loved it! We took our food home and dug in immediately. I almost forgot to take pictures. I ordered a ham combination banh mi. Bread was nice and toasty without being burnt. I personally would've liked more filling, but the pate was good! Came here for lunch and overall enjoyed my meal here. The place has potential to be a regular spot and hopefully it gets better as it transitions from the soft opening period. Since it's called pho day I had to order the pho. We tried the combination pho on our visit. The soup base was very good which is the toughest and most important component . However, the noodles had a weird texture which I really didn't like. Also, the ratio of noodle to meat to soup was off as well. I'm my younger days I would have welcomed the carb overload but from a balance perspective there should be more of the other components. The noodle La are an easy fix and I hope this improves in the future. The real standouts here are the banh mi and the meat (w/ either rice or garlic noodles). The five spice chicken was moist and had a nice crispy skin. The garlic noodles were also good. The grilled pork banh mi was also a standout. I will definitely be coming back for this.
