    #33 combo pho

We liked this place, the pho was on par with other places, but the beef tendon was too tough and needed to be simmered longer. I liked the ambiance, and the service was friendly. Other than the tough tendon, I really liked everything else.

Fast service and great soups! Need to go back to try their banh mi! Love their ambiance, chill and family friendly.

Overall, this is a decent Vietnamese restaurant. The BBQ pork spring roll was quite thick with a lot of stuffing. The peanut dipping sauce accompanied the rolls well. The bbq pork was on the sweeter side, but the meat was tender. The pho broth had a stronger cinnamon taste than other pho that I've had. There was no wait for a party of two on a Saturday night. The staff were very friendly. The place had a modern interior design. There was bar seating near the entrance, indoor seating, and a covered patio.

    Banh mi chao

Banh mi chao was sizzling hot and fresh baguette was soft and chewy with a nice outer crunch to go with the pate, egg and steak cubes. Would order again, though most patrons at the time were ordering pho as it seems to be popular for cold winter nights. The fried crab & shrimp wontons were a pretty good appetizers to start off dinner. Fried rice was okay but didn't have that much wok hei compared to other restaurants.

I don't give out five stars often. I can officially claim that this is one of my favorite spots in SF. Their coffee, first of all, is unique and tasty. The form has a touch of creamy corn flavor. You NEED to try. It is the one with EDD. The pho is also fabulous. The broth is clear and not too salty. The clay pot rice is also incredible. I don't know everything about Vietnamese food, but they kinda adopted some elements from Chinese cuisines, which is genius. People here are so nice. They smile and seem like they are having a good time. The place is cute, in particular the patio. I will for sure be back soon!!!!!

We came here recently for my birthday lunch since I've been wanting to try this new Vietnamese restaurant in our neighborhood. The severs were really nice and brought us a high chair for our baby. The restaurant was very cute and modern. They even have a back patio. We ordered the fried calamari to share. And I thought it was really good. Not too much batter. And a good portion for two people. My husband ordered the beef rib bone pho. The broth was delicious and tasted clean. The meat fell off the bone. I ordered the chicken pho and thought it was very good. The broth was flavorful. The noodles were soft and silky. It was also perfect for sharing with our baby. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other dishes

    Wagyu Pho ($23)

Came here by accident around 630pm on a Wednesday - we were trying to go to the soft opening of their new location for their 20% off deal, but didn't realize that the location wasn't on maps yet. The inside is nice and modern, and pretty spacious, with a cute patio that was closed. -Fried shrimp & crab meat dumplings (10 for $14.95): we got this too share, and they werent too memorable - the filling didn't really taste like much, and it comes with a standard sweet chili suace for dipping. -Wagyu Pho ($23): I always hate when my pho broth gets cold too quickly, so the hot stone bowl was honestly really nice since it kept my broth warm the entire meal. The wagyu did help make the broth a bit richer and more flavorable compared to my friend's pho, but overall this wasn't anything special and I wouldn't get it again. We had to ask for the bean spouts/basil/lime because it didn't come served with the pho. Overall, LeQuy didn't really standout to me, and the food seemed a little pricey for what it was.

Date: Monday, February 10th, 2025 Party of: 2 Meal: Lunch Delivery Time Ordered: around 3pm Time Arrived: about an hour later How Ordered: DoorDash Delivered to: Outer Richmond 3. BBQ Pork Sandwiches - Big ($11.50) 4. BBQ Chicken Sandwiches - Big ($11.50) #19. Traditional Spring Rolls - 2 ($12.50) #23. Egg Rolls (3) - GT ($13.25) #28. Combination Seafood Noodle Soup ($22.95) - Sea Bass, Clear Noodles, Spicy Broth #33. Beef Combination ($18.50) - Spicy Broth I wanted Vietnamese food, but I wanted to try a new spot. LeQuy kept popping up in searches, so the hubby and I decided to give them a shot. Not sure of their regular pricing, but on DD, they are on the pricier side. I got the seafood noodle soup. I asked for clear noodles, but ended up with the same noodles as the hubs. I'm not really into regular rice noodles, so I just tossed those. I'm sure my bowl was pricier due to the sea bass. The few pieces I got were pretty good. Not too overcooked. The chicken banh mi was fine, as were the spring rolls. Both were pretty standard. Tho the spring rolls didn't come with peanut sauce which we thought was weird. I can't remember anything about the egg / imperial rolls. At least they came with a dipping sauce tho. An okay place to grab pho if in a pinch. I'm always down to try new spots, but I probably won't be coming back. REVIEW #3695

Kim was the sweetest. Really clean, relaxing vibe. Food was delicious! So flavorful. The spice on the Bún bò Huế was so good. Small kick but tolerable. You can definitely taste the lemongrass. The bbq pork spring rolls were also good and the chicken pho. I would probably pass on the calamari next time. It was good but would rather try something else. Street parking. We came sort of late and was able to get parking somewhat in front.

The entrance to the restaurant in the colorful Castro District ‍ where everyone is welcome to enjoy a tasty meal
    Crystal G.

The staff were friendly and offered suggestions for the perfect lunch. We loved the decor: clean, calm and comfy. The enclosed patio allows you imagine you aren't in the middle of busy Castro but lunching under the shade trees. I loved the tasty Yellow Curry, and the Wagu Beef Hotpot was a sizzling delight. Even at a Vietnamese restaurant I never miss the chance to enjoy a sweet Thai iced tea with my spicy meal, and to linger over an Avocado Smoothie for dessert. When I'm back in The City again, I'll definitely stop by to "discover" this "dock" (somewhere near) the Bay.

Got the combination seafood soup with sea bass spicy, I actually really enjoyed it. The shrimp was tasty & had some crab, octopus and fish. The broth was yummy & spicy would get again. The spring roll was alright wish it had a crunch or smthn felt too lettuce-y for my liking

    Seafood crispy noodle
    Greg G.

I always opt for pho... but was craving gee mein (crispy noodle) and sure enough they have it! Really delicious, ton of flavor and the ratio of sauce to noodle is just right (the noodles don't get drenched in the gravy), just enough that the noodles are still crispy as the meal goes on. Highly recommend!

    Wagyu Pho meat
    Maya K.

You must try this place and get the Wagyu Pho!!! The soup and fixings come separately so everything is perfectly cooked, the meat is tender and plentiful, and the soup is perfectly balanced. The broth is very gentle without overpowering salt or sweetness, which I prefer. I've tried other things here-- also good, especially the spring rolls-- but honestly the wagyu pho is the way to go. I'll be back here a million times for the same thing. See ya there!

Egg salad, I got the pint ($16), this was really solid too, although I added some additional salt and pepper to taste. The pint is great for family, easily can make 5-6 sandwiches with the amount of a pint. Honestly a cup order would've been good for me.
