Pho 1, shrimp spring roll, filet mignon

Very affordable, super huge serving sizes. Could not finish Pho at all. Feels very authenic and the staff are very attentive, it just gets busy sometimes.

Not sure why this place has bad reviews. It's a casual, local spot that serves a comforting bowl of pho. Service is efficient and food comes out quickly. The special crispy spring rolls were delicious and super flavorful. The beef pho was aromatic, refreshing, and filling. Pricing is great, too.

Friendly and good food. I love the presentation of the dishes. Everything is tasty. Whether it is hot or cold dish.

I decided to come back after the rating changed from C & B to A. The menu seemed different from what I remembered it to be like from last time.

The food is absolute chef's kiss with a meld of vietnamese flavors. The minus one star is that service can be kinda slow and the wait staff can be a tad forgetful so pack your patience as you delve into delicious food and the shortest trip to Vietnam. You know a place is good when theres people waiting outside. The pho bowls are large steaming goodness of meat slices with bean sprouts and a squeeze of lime and noodles. I got the pork with vermicelli noodle which came with some veggies and topped off with some peanut bits (see picture), was around $14. Very tasty! I'd also recommend getting the spring rolls top, a hint of mint and shrimp in a rice roll.

I order a pho beef. The soup base is pretty good. but only with a few piece of beef in it and a lot of rice noodle . for $12 they could've added a few more pieces. The service is quick. The place is clean.

Good pho, huge portions, great value. Their buns are good too especially in the hot summer months. Try the fresh lemonade or Vietnamese iced coffee. The sauté watercrest with garlic is a great side dish.

No complaints! Temperature, Taste, Everything was fantastic! Waiters were very attentive. The ambiance wasn't too fancy but very cozy with cultural accents.

Food was subpar today. It seems like they fried the soft shell crab in either old oil or oil that wasn't up to temp. The crab just had an overly oily, heavy taste and feel to it. The Pho was its usual self... pretty OK. Service was speedy, but they could learn to not reach over you to get to customers in the adjacent table. We were seated towards the back, by the restroom, and there was a terrible draft. The whole establishment felt cold. Most patrons did not even take off their coats.

Small order of spring rolls (there were 4 pieces but we at one before getting a photo)

We have frequented this location in the past and enjoyed the food overall. The food this visit tasted great but we are rating 3 stars because the service and the condition of the restaurant was noticeably not as good as in the past.

I went on a pho craze as the weather started getting colder and I ordered from this place three days in a row via Ubereats. I get the big bowl and love that everything is separated, which makes this a great choice for delivery. The soup comes in a massive container and it's more than enough for the noodles. When it arrives, the bowl looks pretty small and the noodles are packed in, but I usually throw everything into a stove pot and heat everything up. The noodles then end up expanding and it's quite a large portion. Highly recommend!

The service here is always quick and very direct. The staff is not unfriendly, just very fast with everything. We had not been seated 2 mins before the waitress asked if we're ready to order. The food is yummy, tastes authentic and is decently priced. I like how the dishes here are made with simple ingredients but make for a flavorful punch together. The space is pretty open and has some nice decor to complement the walls.

    BBQ Pork Vermicelli

I give this restaurant two thumbs down. Why? 1) Inattentive and rude waitstaff 2) Not authentic Vietnamese food. Spring roll tasted and looks horrible. It didn't even taste like Vietnamese springs rolls. Bbq vermicelli noodles was a mess. All the noodles were broken up into pieces and bbq pork was way too salty. I cant quite pinpoint what it is but the flavor was off. 3) Bathroom is dirty If you want authentic Vietnamese food I suggest going to Pho Bang.

You never expect to find it here yet, here we are, at Roosevelt Ave. in Jacksonville heights, Queens with some REALLY good pho! My fear got the best of me and prevented me from going a more "exotic" route and thus I went with a simple pho with rice noodle and beef. Yet simple this was not this broth had such tremendous flavor without the need to compromise it with any additional toppings/add ons. Though I haven't ventured too much out here with Vietnamese pho I have tried several and can confidently say this is the BEST one I've had yet! Combine that with amazing prices and welcoming service, we gladly have a restaurant that we will visit everytime we're in the area from now on.

My friend and I ate inside and got the summer rolls, which wasn't tightly wrapped, and it was so hard to eat. It came apart right away, which I've never seen happen before. I don't suggest getting it at all. It was too messy to eat, and the ingredients were mainly noodles. I got the taro tea as that doesn't have caffeine inside of it. For my main meal, I got the hot pot noodle soup with a medium spice level with been tendon and fatty beef. The bad part about it was that my stomach hurt after an hour or so. My male server pulled a laminated QR code card from the condiment tray and plopped down instructing me to scan it for the menu. I immediately gave him a wracked with grief and anguish look as scanning such QR codes was during COVID-19 era which now post COVID-19 it is very callous and utter impersonal. My male server retreated to rebuke my anguish look for resilience "we have paper menus" which I gladly viewed after my eyes were intensely examined earlier. I do not want to doom scrolling during my meal including sitting at a restaurant or cafe. Albeit, I would certainly Yelp check-in and take photos during my time in the business. The paper menu is a takeout menu. Facilities are located in the basement with low head room as you walk these steps. The rice noodles were chopped rather than long continuous noodle strains. The meat seemingly appeared semi-cooked as there were noticeable visible pink areas. This place feels like a hidden gem you almost want to keep secret... but it's just too good not to share. What makes Pho Metro stand out right away is how authentic it feels. You can tell this is truly a labor of love. One guy runs the show and somehow manages to do it all, from cooking to serving, and the care he puts into the food absolutely shows in every single bite. It has that comforting, homemade quality that makes you feel like you've stepped into a small family kitchen rather than just another restaurant. The food itself is outstanding. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, from the herbs to the broth. I highly recommend the thin noodles with the spicy lemongrass broth (you can request this if it's not listed). It's bursting with flavor, slightly tangy, perfectly spicy, and deeply savory in a way that warms you from the inside out. Every spoonful feels like a cozy blanket on a cold day. The summer rolls are another must-order. They're fresh, light, and packed with flavor, and the peanut sauce that comes with them is absolutely delicious. It's rich, savory, and addictive enough that you'll find yourself scraping the cup to get every last drop. Another detail I really appreciated is how everything you need is right at your fingertips. All the sauces are readily available at the table, so you can customize your bowl exactly how you like it without having to ask or wait. It makes the whole experience feel easy, comfortable, and welcoming. And don't skip the Thai iced tea. It's perfectly sweet, creamy, and refreshing, especially alongside the bold flavors of the pho.
