Enjoyed a dinner of regular size #2 pho and a piece of spider spring roll. Three others had pork chop with rice, meat ball pho and a big #1 pho with bone marrow. The pho came with sides of bean sprouts, fresh basil and lime wedge. I enjoyed my pho but wouldn't order the spider (fried soft shell crab) roll again. Not enough flavor for the roll even with the peanut sauce. Service was attentive (several refills of tea) and friendly. The place felt clean and not too noisy -- this was on a rainy Satuday night. Not sure if it gets really crowded and noisy on weekends generally.

Pho Best III is a Vietnamese restaurant that has built a following on generous portions and a menu that covers more ground than just pho. I walked in on a casual weeknight, and the space felt straightforward, the kind of neighborhood spot that focuses on the food rather than the decor. I started with the spring rolls, which are a consistent standout and worth ordering. They came out fresh and well packed, a solid opener. I also ordered the Vietnamese iced drip coffee, which was done well, not overly sweet, and paired nicely with the meal. Portions across the board run large, noticeably so. I realized quickly that sharing a few dishes between two people would have been a reasonable approach, but I ended up with more than I could finish on my own. The pho itself was alright, though I noticed it was not as warm as I would have liked, and the broth came across a little flavorless. A bowl that comes out hot makes a real difference in the experience, so if yours arrives lukewarm, flagging it early rather than eating through it is worth doing. The noodles and meat portions were generous, but the temperature and broth depth held the dish back from being great.

Pho Best lives up to its name--this really is some of the best pho you'll find in the area. The broth is deeply flavorful, rich without being heavy, and clearly simmered with care. Portions are generous enough to share, though you may not want to once you get a taste. If you happen to visit on a day when they have the bone marrow available, don't hesitate--order it immediately. It's a rare treat (they only have it once in a blue moon), but when they do, it takes the bowl to another level. Beyond the pho, the crispy spring rolls are a must-try. The crackly, golden exterior with the savory meat inside makes for an addictive combo. Their grilled pork over rice is another standout--tender, flavorful, and satisfying. Overall, Pho Best is a reliable go-to for comfort food, big portions, and some memorable specialties when you're lucky enough to catch them. Highly recommended.

I decided to come back after the rating changed from C & B to A. The menu seemed different from what I remembered it to be like from last time.

Not sure why this place has bad reviews. It's a casual, local spot that serves a comforting bowl of pho. Service is efficient and food comes out quickly. The special crispy spring rolls were delicious and super flavorful. The beef pho was aromatic, refreshing, and filling. Pricing is great, too.

Very affordable, super huge serving sizes. Could not finish Pho at all. Feels very authenic and the staff are very attentive, it just gets busy sometimes.

The food is absolute chef's kiss with a meld of vietnamese flavors. The minus one star is that service can be kinda slow and the wait staff can be a tad forgetful so pack your patience as you delve into delicious food and the shortest trip to Vietnam. You know a place is good when theres people waiting outside. The pho bowls are large steaming goodness of meat slices with bean sprouts and a squeeze of lime and noodles. I got the pork with vermicelli noodle which came with some veggies and topped off with some peanut bits (see picture), was around $14. Very tasty! I'd also recommend getting the spring rolls top, a hint of mint and shrimp in a rice roll.

I order a pho beef. The soup base is pretty good. but only with a few piece of beef in it and a lot of rice noodle . for $12 they could've added a few more pieces. The service is quick. The place is clean.

Friendly and good food. I love the presentation of the dishes. Everything is tasty. Whether it is hot or cold dish.

Good pho, huge portions, great value. Their buns are good too especially in the hot summer months. Try the fresh lemonade or Vietnamese iced coffee. The sauté watercrest with garlic is a great side dish.

No complaints! Temperature, Taste, Everything was fantastic! Waiters were very attentive. The ambiance wasn't too fancy but very cozy with cultural accents.

Food was subpar today. It seems like they fried the soft shell crab in either old oil or oil that wasn't up to temp. The crab just had an overly oily, heavy taste and feel to it. The Pho was its usual self... pretty OK. Service was speedy, but they could learn to not reach over you to get to customers in the adjacent table. We were seated towards the back, by the restroom, and there was a terrible draft. The whole establishment felt cold. Most patrons did not even take off their coats.

Small order of spring rolls (there were 4 pieces but we at one before getting a photo)

We have frequented this location in the past and enjoyed the food overall. The food this visit tasted great but we are rating 3 stars because the service and the condition of the restaurant was noticeably not as good as in the past.

It started as soon as we walked into the restaurant; there was an unfortunate water leak dripping down from the ceiling, right by the entrance. The staff put a bucket below a huge water bubble that had formed in the ceiling, to catch the drips... but you had to walk around it to get into the restaurant. Kind of weird that the staff didn't think of getting from a hardware store, one of those tarps that catches ceiling leaks and diverts the water thru a hose to a bucket... that isn't in the way of customers entering the restaurant. Anyway, we sat down, and ordered an old favorite dish, and decided to try a new one. The old favorite is the House-made Fish Cake Pho (Pho Cha Ca)! The kitchen staff hand makes the fish paste from scratch, with some kind of super addictive & flavorful spices, and I've really enjoyed it in the past. We also decided to try the Shaking Beef Rice (Com Bo Lac Lac) for the first time. Unfortunately, both dishes were disappointing. The fish cake in the pho looked and tasted like typical frozen type you can get at any Asian market... and was confirmed when we asked the staff. Where's my ATF fish cake?!? The beef cubes in the rice dish were (a) super overcooked (like beef jerky level chewy) and (b) the sauce was way, way too salty. We also noticed the restaurant manager, Ngan, wasn't working that night. Perhaps all these problems happened because she was away on holiday? And Pho99 will be back to its usual spectacular food after she returns?

One was very spicy so just took the veggies and meat. Instructions were finally posted on how to put together the curries with the noodles and toppings, which were set up on the table as well. This place feels like a hidden gem you almost want to keep secret... but it's just too good not to share. What makes Pho Metro stand out right away is how authentic it feels. You can tell this is truly a labor of love. One guy runs the show and somehow manages to do it all, from cooking to serving, and the care he puts into the food absolutely shows in every single bite. It has that comforting, homemade quality that makes you feel like you've stepped into a small family kitchen rather than just another restaurant. The food itself is outstanding. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, from the herbs to the broth. I highly recommend the thin noodles with the spicy lemongrass broth (you can request this if it's not listed). It's bursting with flavor, slightly tangy, perfectly spicy, and deeply savory in a way that warms you from the inside out. Every spoonful feels like a cozy blanket on a cold day. The summer rolls are another must-order. They're fresh, light, and packed with flavor, and the peanut sauce that comes with them is absolutely delicious. It's rich, savory, and addictive enough that you'll find yourself scraping the cup to get every last drop. Another detail I really appreciated is how everything you need is right at your fingertips. All the sauces are readily available at the table, so you can customize your bowl exactly how you like it without having to ask or wait. It makes the whole experience feel easy, comfortable, and welcoming. And don't skip the Thai iced tea. It's perfectly sweet, creamy, and refreshing, especially alongside the bold flavors of the pho. It's rare to find a spot where you can truly taste the effort and pride in every dish, but Pho Metro does exactly that. I will absolutely be returning again and again.
