boo! bad experience. ordered 2bowls of pho, plus some other stuff. drove to restaurant, picked it up, paid, tipped on take out, then got home to find no basil, no sprouts, no lime... if you can't get a take out order correct, then don't offer take out. super annoyed and disappointed. called them and they said sorry, come back and we'll get you everything we forgot. won't patronize them moving forward. bummed. read more

Never had Pho before. Now I need to seek it out. The flavor of the broth was killer. Reminded me of a fine wine you sip for hours trying to identify the flavor. The ingredients tender, the meal filling. Two our meals had shrimp that seemed like lobster and the beef was super tender. The waitresses were very friendly, smiling as they ran from table to table. Outstanding! Some of the best tasting Pho broth I've had. Beautifully seasoned, with a strong star anise finish. The portions were generous, with the Pho, and rice noodle dishes. They do not skimp on the shrimp with either Pho, or rice noodle dish. Definitely a place to come back to! read more

I went with my two kids for an early dinner and sat at a high top. The space is open and nicely decorated. They have a great happy hour and I got a $4 glass of wine and most of the appetizers were 30% off. We got the crispy egg rolls, grilled beef spring rolls, fried dumplings and fried tofu. They were all delicious but the fried tofu was a stand out. We also got a kids rice and grilled meat plate and the veggie egg roll vermicelli bowl. It was a ton of food and reasonably priced at HH. We will be back to try the pho (it looked and smelled delicious!). read more

Saturday night, we were able to sit down right away. The atmosphere is fun with the bar in the center of the room and Cheerful decor. My husband said the Pho with filet was the best meat he's ever had in pho. My vegetable pho was packed with carrots, celery, bok choy, and these cute, yummy mushrooms (what are they called?)! Best pho in Avon/Vail. We went to both pho restaurants in town (the other being Pho 20); and Pho Bay is a far better meal. Pho Bay is delicious and clean with nice distanced outdoor seating. Some of the best spring rolls (we got shrimp) and ordered the small portion of pho which was a perfect size for lunch. Friendly, professional service. Highly recommend! I go here practically once a week. I LOVE it here. I usually order fried tofu and fried dumpling appetizer. Both are so good and so are their pork spring rolls. I always get their chicken pho, it's amazing. I love adding basil, lime, jalapeños, and bean sprouts for all the good flavors. If I don't finish what I eat, I bring it home and the pho reheats well. For the first time, last night I got the Vietnamese coffee. I've had Vietnamese coffee before at a small pho place, but it wasn't nearly as good as Pho Bay's coffee. I was blown away. I'm a big iced coffee lover so I got a cup of ice to go with my coffee and it was seriously the best iced coffee I've had in my life. I've tried many coffees before, but the Vietnamese Coffee here has blown me away. So good! I will always recommend this place to friends and family. I love it here! read more

We went out for a nice family meal. However, Pho Bay was a BAD CHOICE. We are loyal customers at Pho 20 in Avon, and this place did not even come close. It was EXPENSIVE, service was slow and spotty The bar tender was a very rude wanna be who did not fit in with the otherwise okay atmosphere. Food was lukewarm and not fresh like Pho 20. Locals think this place wont last till the end of the year! read more

Ever since this location opened I was eager to try their pho since Pho 20 was the only other option. Let me just say their food and quality is exceptional! You can always judge a good bowl of pho by the broth and theirs it's hands down the best in the valley! I'm personally obsessed with their pork noodle bowl and extra side of sweet fish sauce. We absolutely LOVE the food here!!! Before the closure we would go about once to twice a week. The food is flavorful, big portions, love the vegetarian options, the place is always clean, food comes fast, and service is great! We had Thomas as our server and he was EXCELLENT!!!! My daughter had a fun time talking with him, and he was very welcoming and personable. We are hoping to see him again once we are able to sit down inside again. With a little bit more training on the customer service aspect this place could be spectacular! They need to figure out timing, such as: bring drinks right away followed by the appetizers, allow for appetizers to be about done and then bring out the pho or main course. Dirty, dirty, dirty, DIRTY. The floors were FOUL, the table not clean and the overall tidiness vibe was not inspiring. Our dumplings were cold and not good, as in they appeared to have been heated up from a Sysco box. The waiter was ok, but he was far from being a professional. Worst of all, especially in this day and age of recognizing climate change and waste, the takeaway was styrofoam with plastic bags. Our grocery stores have a plastic bag ban, so it's surprising that plastic was offered up. Granted, we should have been prepared with our own carry out supplies, but we dropped the ball. There was hair in my drink I showed the lady all she did was take it out instead of giving me a new one and when I asked for a new one she said it wasn't anyone in the kitchen hair mind you my hair is braided 100% she it's clearly not mine.
