    Teriyaki chicken meal

First time here with my picky 4 year old, n my childhood best friend for a lunch date and the food was amazing the restaurant was very clean n put together the staff was friendly. Sizes vs prices were respectable. Only thing I wish they would of checked in on us at least once after we started eating cause I needed a water refill. But we will be back. So good

1st time in the restaurant and they were busy! We ordered to go, waited a bit but wasn't too long. Interior is inviting and can sit down to eat. Was a bit uncomfortable as the receipt was not transparent and not sure what taxes and surcharges were. Overall food was delicious and made it worthwhile. Definitely tasty to go again!

I was looking for some authentic banh canh cua that tastes like it was made in Vietnam and Pho 99 did not disappoint. Banh canh cua translates to crab tapioca noodle soup or Vietnamese crab udon noodle soup. It is delicious and I was cravinggg it so bad. Pho 99 Authentic Vietnamese is located in Shoreline near Costco. It is definitely a hidden gem. They have a solid amount of tables for not a very big place. Their parking lot is small and filled a lot of the time so I just try to park close by and walk in. I got the Thai tea and the banh canh cua. The Thai tea was decent 8/10. The banh canh cua was a 8.5-9/10! Which is really good for Seattle! The reason why I give this place a 4/5 and not 5/5 is because their prices are not the same as on the menu and I wish that was made transparent. The menu said it is $23 for one bowl and 3.75 for a Thai tea but I believe after calculating and checking a few times, we were charged a couple dollars extra. Otherwise, it hit the spot. So just beware! I overall enjoyed my meal. It made me feel very nostalgic of the only time I visited Vietnam with my family. I hope to come here again in the future.

Overall pretty good, the vermicelli was filling and fresh. Great service, pretty fast and efficient. Good place for a casual meal for some authentic Vietnamese food

    Steamed rice with short ribs

The food here was delicious! Not only that, but the amount they give you is generous and the price is great. I ate the beef short ribs and it was tasty, juicy, and savory. I couldn't believe how much they gave me. I got broken rice on the side since it's a must for me. They give complimentary lychee water and it was sweet and smooth. Very nice of the store to offer that rather than regular water. The service here was good. The servers were nice, especially the older lady. She's interactive with the customers and offers generosity. The ambiance offers a nice and relaxing restaurant to enjoy your Vietnamese food. They offer traditional Vietnamese cuisines and are authentic with their dishes. FYI. Parking lot is VERY limited. There's a good chance you might have to park somewhere else. But this place is worth eating!

My favorite dish here, stir fried beef In lemongrass. So delicious!

Soup is what I love! I can't go wrong with my order of pho or BBH soup. They are two different soups but are both very delicious and filling and , very refreshing. Portions are always more than what I can handle. The best part is that I can also choose my noodles. These bowls of soups are full of flavors and do not need extra toppings if anything because they are perfect to taste. Not only I get a large of hearty bowls of soups, they also serve my water with lychees that is so refreshing. This is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Come and see for yourself. Experience the spring rolls as well. They are amazing! They also serve rice dishes. My favorite? Lemongrass stir fried beef. This place is also authentic.

Bun bo hue with pork ribs, pork loaf, and beef
    Celina S.

We ordered the pho dad biet #12 large, the bun bo hue, and shrimp and pork spring rolls. The portion size was super filling and we had leftovers. The pho had plenty of ingredients and a clean broth. The bun bo hue had ribs and pork loaf which was a nice change from just sliced beef at most places! Both bowls piping hot on a cold day The staff were so nice too, they accidentally dumped the leftover broth we wanted to take and poured us some soup to go to make up for it. Also I thought the lychee water they give is a nice touch! You can ask for regular water if it's not your thing. I saw lots of people ordering the crepe so will come back to try that next time.

    Broccoli Beef

Holy shit this place is fantastic. The portions are great, the service is homestyle, quick, and real, and the taste is honestly mind blowing. This is my new favorite pho spot. The pho was flavorful and complex, and came out in a really quick amount of time. Around lunch time it really fills up, and it was obvious that this is a well loved Shoreline spot. I really have to recommend the rice dishes, in particular the Broccoli Beef rice dish. The portion was huge, and my friend and I shared it between us. The beef was tender and had the perfect umami flavor. It's a great casual ambiance and I'd recommend for any comfort meal. One thing I'll say is the parking is tight, but parking behind El Cubano gets the job done. Highly recommend, and will be coming back!

They have a wide range of banh mi fillings, from the classics to some harder to find options like roast pork, so there's something for everyone. My personal favorite is the crispy roast pork banh mi. The pork has that perfect crackly skin with juicy, flavorful meat underneath. Paired with the pickled veggies, fresh cilantro, and a light spread of mayo on a crusty baguette, it hits all the right textures and flavors. I also love the special banh mi with all the different meats. It's basically the greatest hits lineup with savory cold cuts, pâté, and other cured meats layered together for a rich, satisfying bite every time. It's hearty without being overwhelming, and the balance of fresh and savory components is spot on. And don't skip the drinks. The egg coffee was surprisingly excellent. The Vietnamese coffee base had a deep, bold flavor with that classic slightly bitter edge, and the creamy whipped egg topping added a smooth, lightly sweet contrast. It felt indulgent but still very coffee forward. Overall, this is a great banh mi spot for me with the great variety, tasty sandwiches, and a standout egg coffee to round it all out. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for a quality banh mi.

We ended up choosing a place close and were not disappointed at all. This restaurant is located off a busy street but it luckily offers a parking lot which can be hard to come by in Seattle. Because we came on the earlier side, we were seated quite quickly :) The space is pretty large so I don't think I would worry about a wait on a weekday. We were very impressed by the options provided. I usually don't find Bun Bo Hue on the menu often which is what my partner ended up ordering. I ordered the Bun rieu which is even harder to come by. We also ordered the crispy butter garlic wings to share which was a perfect choice. The service was very fast and we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our stuff came out after placing our order. The portions were also HUGE and we both had enough to take home for a second meal. The Bun rieu was super tomatoey and had a rich flavor which the crab. My mom makes Bun rieu at home and I was very much happy with this bowl too, reminded me a lot of how my mom makes it! The Bun Bo Hue was not super spicy but we appreciated being able to customize. I have not had a bad meal here, and neither has my friends. This is honestly my favorite place for pho, and in my humble opinion, the best pho I've ever had. It tastes like your Vietnamese aunties are cooking in the kitchen, because they are! I crave this place, and usually eat here once a week if I can. My regular order is a large pho tai chin nam bo vien, (no white onions), which is rare steak, brisket, flank, and beef meatballs. Their pho broth is clear, yet rich and beefy and filled with authentic spices - you can really taste the bones being lovingly simmered for hours. Their Bun Bo Hue is also very good, with outstanding homemade pork meatballs. I tried my friend's Bun Rieu and it was seafoody and delicious as well. Also, don't miss out on their Goi Cuon (spring rolls). It's not on the menu but they do offer a shrimp & pork spring roll. They are absolutely delicious and very fresh. As I said, not a bad meal to be had here! Pro tip: For extra rich, beefy tasting pho, order some nuoc beo, (pronounced "nook bay-o") to add to your broth. You can thank me later.
