The pho was very good this time, with a flavorful broth and a much better overall bowl than I remembered. But the real standouts were the sticky pork chop and the ginger lemongrass tofu. Both were excellent--honestly, as good as anything I had during my travels in Vietnam. Service was good, everything we tried was well prepared, and this visit completely changed my impression of the restaurant. I'm glad I gave it another chance and am happy to bump my original 3-star review up to 4 stars.

The are so much better than anything store bought. And the broth was so good it's mostly what I ate. In total we were like $75. We left full and with leftovers. The place is small, quite clean and authentic.

So it is probably a good idea for the menu to mention that it is in there. In any case, I tried to order it sans the cheese but I guess it is pre mixed into the mash or something. They cant make it with no cheese. :( Lastly, and most depressingly, they took the shrimp appetizer off of the happy hour menu! This was a real kick-in-the-dick for me. I have probably came to BLVD Grille at least 10 times in the last year specifically because the happy hour $5 shrimp appetizer was so outstanding. I am genuinely depressed that they took it off the happy hour menu. I haven't tried the steaks yet, I want to, but most days, I'm just looking for some shrimp, a side of fries and a drink. I haven't given up on this place yet, but I feel like I'm losing my favorite menu items one by one.

I give it a 4 out of 5 because it's new and really no other pho options near it. Their menu is not yet finalized and I see a lot of stuff on there that I wouldn't care for when going to a pho restaurant. Feel like they need to narrow it down and focus on the Vietnamese and pho dishes. We don't go to a pho restaurant to get Chinese food. Also the condiments at the table at lacking. Only had hoisin, oyster and Sriracha set. Salt, pepper, chili should be a standard. Hope they address that eventually. Service is great, very attentive staff and it's getting busy so I'm hoping they do well and stay because we need pho in this area. read more
