Our group was in the mood for some pho, so we decided to come here again. Definitely our go too pho place in the denver area. Most in the group ordered some variation of pho. I decided to go with their combination meat rice plate. It was ok. Lots of different types of grilled meat. Tasted pretty good. Great amounts of seasoning. Meats are cut thin which is good because some of it seemed overcooked. Came with 4 fried small rolls which were crunchy and delicious. Full of flavors especially when you dip it in the fish sauce. We also had some spring rolls. They were light and tasted pretty good. Service is so so. I guess when you go to any kind of asian establishment. Service is more or less the same. Impatient, loud, off putting types of attitude. But at the end of it they don't really mean it or get it that those are the traits they are exhibiting. What got me this time around though is that their to go containers were just sitting on top of the fish tank in the middle of the restaurant. And customers can just go up there to grab some containers and the staff also grab them from there. But when 1 of the containers fell onto the floor, a staff member came by and put it back up there, which is disgusting and pretty gross actually. Overall a solid pho place. Next time I'll probably stick to the pho, as it's name indicates. They have 3 different sizes, small, medium and large. The large is pretty huge, I would say easily over 40 oz worth of soup. So stick to the medium unless you think you can put down that much soup. read more

Yes, Vietnam - Oh what a beautiful country full of beautiful people! Defenders of honor. Upholders of justice. Winners of the Vietnam War. And most importantly: Creators of pho. More specifically, I'd like to applaud the creators, owners, and chefs of Pho 95. They should be awarded 72 virgins in heaven and have their public records expunged of any past and future crimes. Although, the only crime they should ever be accused of is penetrating the Denver food scene and inserting its life-giving meat & broth into the menu. Surrounding pho restaurants should be ashamed of themselves, as they are not worthy to be in the presence or proximity of Pho 95! My new life goal is to be as generous and altruistic as Pho 95. All these other so-called pho spots think their meat is biggest and tastiest. They're so concerned about their bottom line that they limit the amount of meat per bowl. But not here at Pho 95. Never in my life have I experienced bottomless meat with pho - the more I ate, the more meat would start appearing from the bottom of the bowl! Food-wise, all you need to know is: Their noodles are succulent and their meat is juicy. I would waterboard myself with their broth. Pho 95 represents everything good in the world. In a world full of hate and greed, there stands Pho 95, like a mighty oak tree, standing firm against the corruption and incompetence of today's food industry. Things have changed in the 14 years since we were last here. For one thing the location is different, having moved to the west side of Federal Boulevard. The friendly staff at the old place have changed to somewhat indifferent staff at the new location. Vacuum cleaners, dirty dishes, and cleaning supplies are lined up in the middle of the restaurant. Pho 95 has been my husband and My favorite Pho joint for years and I'm finally getting around to leaving a review. We went yesterday with some friends and our kids (it's child friendly). We tried the bubble teas which were pretty good even though they're all from mixes not fresh fruit except the strawberry and avocado. My husband and I split the chicken bahn mi and a pork noodle bowl. The bahn mi was okay, nothing to write home about, but the noodle bowl was, as always, outstanding. I love the flavors of the grilled marinaded pork and the crisp veggies! (The grilled shrimp and lemongrass noodle bowl is my absolute favorite thing on their menu, but my husband wasn't feeling shrimpy so we got the pork, which is my second favorite.) Although we didn't get pho yesterday, the #12 with marinated rare steak is our favorite. We usually call in ahead for it and take it home, especially when we're feeling under the weather. It tastes like health in the best possible way- I can always feel myself getting stronger as I eat. They also do an amazing job of providing lots of yummy things to add to the pho- mint, Thai basil, and sauces! Finally, there ended up being a dragon dance at the restaurant yesterday for Lunar New Year which was an awesome surprise. Honestly, the place does not look like somewhere I would stop in just by driving by. Their exterior is dated. Their pho was amazing though! By far some of the best we have had! The staff was very friendly. He stopped by to check on us several times. The service was fast- we had our food within a few minute. They do have their own private parking lot outside. I've recently moved to the area and was in search of my new go to Pho place, but instead found a place to take my sister for Vietnamese egg rolls. I came upon this restaurant as a recommendation from yelp and people on reddit saying this was one of the best places for pho in Denver. I came in with my aunt and we ordered the Vietnamese pork egg rolls and Large rare beef pho. I was pleasantly surprised by the egg rolls, they were light and not super greasy and the greens provided to eat along with them were fresh and crisp. I enjoyed the beef in the pho and they certainly do provide a lot of garnishes but I found the soup to be bland. Maybe I'm picky since I've been spoiled by good pho in Los Angeles and Vancouver but I didn't taste much in my soup. Service was quick and on par with other Vietnamese restaurants where the servers will take your order and mostly leave you alone. Maaan I love me some good pho & I gotta say this has probably surpassed all other pho places I've had near & around Denver. The normal broth that came with my bowl was delicious, my cousin got the veggie bowl & even that broth was to die for! Not only was the pho great but the produce we received was fresh. We also ordered some Egg Rolls & again, TO DIE FOR! The fun thing about this spot is that they serve alcohol!!!! They have a pretty good mixture of both alcoholic & non alcoholic drinks! We found parking in the plaza lot and were seated immediately in compliance with COVID-19 guidelines. Menu was standard... we started with spring rolls (peanut sauce!!) then I got pho with some combination of brisket and tripe. Both were delicious and hit the spot. Our waiter checked in only when necessary. I felt like my friend and I had a great conversation without interruption but didn't have to hunt anyone down for the check, etc. Overall I felt safe and welcome here. Busy neighborhood spot on Federal! This popular place delivers solid food. The menu is pretty large, with selections of pho, rice plates, noodle bowls, and more. If it's you're first time going you might want to look at the menu before arriving because they come take your order really quickly. We went most recently on a cold week night and it was packed. Between the extra demand and the fact that restaurant was also short staffed (we heard from the cashier), there were long waits for tables and orders. There are many pho places and other Vietnamese restaurants on Federal Blvd. I've tried most of the pho in the area and I always come back to pho 95. The broth and quality of the meats has always been the best here in my opinion. The portions here are quite large so I would only recommend a large pho bowl if you can handle quite a bit of food. My preference is the pho but the rice plates and vermicelli noodle plates are all great too! Plus, Khoi, the manager and son of the owner, always provides top-notch service. I've tried a bunch of the highly rated pho places in Denver and Pho 95 is my favorite! They have really good pho but also a nice mix of other Vietnamese dishes as well! You get to have your comfort food but also something new! We started out our meal with the Three Treasures appetizer and when it came out it absolutely felt like we hit the jackpot! It's literally a mountain of food! It's a mix of fried soft shell crab, egg rolls and fried shrimp all on top of a bed of vermicelli noodles! This was pretty much enough food for two people and also a really fun experience to eat! This is definitely a must order! We also ordered a traditional pho dac biet that was delicious! The quality of the ingredients was top notch and I especially appreciate it when the tendon and tripe are super high quality! Really loved the dish! Soooo im updating my review to 2 stars less, unfortunately... OBVIOUSLY Covid has made things more difficult with dining in, there will forever be long wait times, yadda yadda my review is going to reflect all of that minus Covid. They were understaffed. It took over an hour to get our food, we had to ask twice for our drinks, and the servers kept forgetting to give us silverware, napkins, condiments etc that we asked for. Plus they delivered the wrong food and were totally disorganized. Additionally, their prices have increased in recent years. Their location is literally neighbor to 10 other pho restaurants easily, and it's the same dang thing everywhere except you pay $5 on average between your bowl of pho and an appetizer. We have eaten at this place for years. They do have good pho... However, we have had multiple customer service issues. This most recent problem has been to much. We did take out for 2 brisket pho. When we got home and opened the food we were hit with a pungent rotten smell. It was clear the brisket had gone off. I worked in food service for years and I understand stuff happens. However, when I called to request a refund I was told no one else had complained, and to call back. When I did call back I was still pleasant about it bit still whanted a comp or something. We had to throw 50 dollars of food away and just whanted them to make it right. I was surprised when I was told the manager said he would not do a comp or anything. I explained we were loyal customers. But they apparently do not care about keeping your business. Anyway not going back now! read more

Being from LA with a plethora of great Vietnamese restaurants, I had to try it in Denver; Pho 95 definitely exceeded expectations. I opted for the Vietnamese cirspy fried chow mein and the vermicelli dish served with fried egg roll, grilled beef, fresh veggies, and fish sauce. Moving to Denver from an extremely Asian-populated town on the east coast, I was very excited to try a highly recommended Pho restaurant and see if it held up to my standards. It was DELICIOUS!! I had the Combination bowl w/ all the meats (favorite item to order when testing out new pho places) and it was only $10 for a small, $11 for a medium, or $12 for a large one. Super great prices for a huge portion -- even the small bowl. Also had the shrimp summer rolls as an appetizer, equally delicious and much more filling than you would initially think!
