Honestly, I really like the location. Right on Federal and the open skyline w a clear view on a good sunny mornin'. I was blessed to have a great scene. Now. My Most Favoritee Partttt The Vietnamese Coffee. I tagged a photo; and you already Know when they present the two cups w the dripper, it's Legitt. **Remember to mix the condensed milk to your liking in the smaller cup lol. I almost poured it into my ice cup like a silly goose (cus it needa melt, unless, yd like it like that preferences ).** The Pho I got is the classic one. The meat was tenderrr, and Thick. Not like excessively, but thicker than what I typically exp. The broth is thick w flavor. Not overtly oily or heavy, just... thick in flavor? Idk how else to describe it lmao. I recommend ~ love an authentic Vietnamese restaurant
visiting Denver for a few days from SoCal and the weather switched to gloomy quick; pho was the next step! There's about 4 other pho shops on the way to this spot but the reviews stuck out to me. Vegan pho chay 7/10 for me. * pro - broth was good before any sauces. Even better with the sauces/ chili oil. also lots of veggies! * con - noodles weren't soft enough for me. I usually like my noodles a bit more silky. Tofu wasn't tasty. Service to seat was quick! We sat down and apps came out less than 5min. The ambiance is cute, I wish they would play some more relaxing music but I understand they want to be a bit more upbeat. A lot of regulars came in so that was cute. Def worth trying out.
Pho 95 continues to be one of my very favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Denver. Stretching back many years, the quality of food, the service, great folks working there, the cleanliness and the convenient parking, all make for a rock solid dining experience. Many of the same folks have all been working here for years and the smiles they exude tells me that customer satisfaction is top notch. Glenda had a delicious vegetarian pho, spicy with vegetables and tofu while I had a bun bowl filled with noodles, veggies, a generous portion of grilled beef, egg rolls and extra sauce. There was so much in my bowl that I'll have lunch for tomorrow. As mentioned, one of my fave Vietnamese restaurants in town.
Fast, filling, fresh pho. This long-time Denver staple is known for their pho, but they also serve up giant bowls of vermicelli and rice. Pure comfort food, and a well-oiled machine. Ambience is cozy and usually there are college and pro sports games displayed on the TV screens inside so you won't miss your team. Or you can watch the fish in the tanks below if sports isn't your thing. It's usually pretty busy around dinner time, but because of how quick the staff move, usually there's at least one table free or about to be vacant. One of the staff members plops down water, utensils, and menus, and seemingly in the time that you've just opened the menu, will ask you for your order. If you're a regular, this is obviously nice, but the menu is pretty extensive and does take some time to digest for first-timers. Standard sauces are located at each table, and once you order a plate of fresh basil, bean sprouts, and limes will appear. If there's a spicy icon next to an item, rest assured that they can make it burn if you really want it to. Besides traditional beef part-pho, they also offer some fancier offerings such as lobster, as well as a vegetarian broth. We tried the lobster and bone marrow (surf and turf) once and probably would not get it again - the lobster was tough and not very flavorful. A small bowl is usually enough for me to be full, maybe a medium if I'm really hungry. A large is doable but you might have to take a few laps around the restaurant in order to finish unless your stomach can hold a liter+ of broth. I'm a fan of their spring rolls, and pho always hits the spot. It's a fairly light broth and not as herb-pungent as I would prefer, but a good base for a variety of tastebuds, if you catch my drift. Vermicelli bowls come with sweet and sour sauce on the side so you can tailor the level of sweet and sour. I do wish there was a little more seasoning on these bowls since the vermicelli was quite plain otherwise. Pay your tab at the bar once you're finished and chat up the owner for a little before waddling out.
The service was some of the best I've had in a while. They were friendly and fast. The food was so good and fresh. I can't wait to come back.
I'm so sorry Denver but Pho 95 was just not as amazing as all these reviews make it seem! Came in on a Friday early afternoon and there were plenty of tables available. Clean with a beautiful fish tank in the center. We got the pork and shrimp spring rolls, small combo pho and grilled pork noodle bowl. Over the years I've perfected my pho preferences from both the Bay Area and Central Valley of CA - full of dope and authentic AF Vietnamese spots. The pho broth here just wasn't it. I barely tasted any of the typical aromatic spices and was honestly so sad, it really just tasted like some beef broth. I hope I came on an off day because I left quite unfilled.
Visiting from out of town and was craving Vietnamese food. This hit the spot. Everything was delicious and tasted authentic. The bún thịt nướng was flavorful with a generous portion, and the phở had a rich, aromatic broth with fresh ingredients. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Very casual spot.
The service was quick and friendly, the dining area is bustling and we were lucky there was an empty table. The food came out quickly, starting with the crab wontons appetizer. The fry and breading were crisp and fresh. The cream cheese inside was the most savory filling I'd had in wontons, and the filling's texture wasn't creamy as much as it was stiff (it fell out when pulled apart). Overall good but not the best I've had. I got the egg roll pork rice bowl - massive portion and the pork flavor was a star on its own. The egg roll was crisp with a hefty filling. My partner got the rare steak and brisket pho (no. 6) , the broth was flavorful, the meat portions were large (even in a small size) and the noodles were tender. An honorable mention for staff always ensuring drinks are full (I drink a lot of water)! read more

This is, BY FAR, the best pho I have ever eaten! I had some in Las Vegas last week that sent me craving good pho when I got back home to Denver, and *this* is the place to get it! I ordered a medium size of the "#21 PHO 95 SPECIAL TAI FILET MIGNON DAC BIET*", and I added shrimp (which came out on the side). The beef was amazing, the broth was incredibly flavorful and rich, and I added very little of the toppings to mine because it was so dang good on its own. I've raved about this dish to friends, and I'm already looking forward to coming back to have it again! read more

one of my favorite pho spots so far! the broth is soo tasty & the portions are great for the price. we had a handful of appetizers & each got a bowl of pho. egg rolls were perfectly done. as for pho, rare marinated steak was my favorite of all of the meats. i also added tofu and however they cooked it gave really nice texture. they get really busy so I'd recommend takeout if you're in a hurry. they also offer full bar! take note of the number that corresponds with your soup. when they brought our food out they called by number and seemed irritated that we didn't know what each was ie #12 is marinated rare steak. I'll be trying a pork noodle bowl next! they looked amazing too. read more

Hadn't been in far too long probably at least a year. Was in the area the other morning shortly after they opened so decided I need to stop in. I always get the spicy broth it is so good. Had that with the filet pho. As good as I remembered it. Service was great staff always very friendly and attentive at right times. Will definitely make a point to come back more often. read more

This is the spot for pho in denver! Super friendly staff and fast service. Decent sized restaurant where they were able to seat a party of 6 without a wait. High quality meat cuts and they even have a Wagyu Pho. Coming from the Bay Area where there's a ton of pho spots, Pho 95 is right up there in terms of flavor and menu selection. Highly recommend this spot and can't wait to come back if I'm ever in the area. read more

There are a lot of Pho restaurants on this strip but we chose Pho 95 because of the number of positive reviews. We are from the Bay Area so calling us "Pho Snobs" would be a very easy thing to do. Considering the fact that we were visitors from out of town, Pho 95 offered a good first impression. There was barely a wait for arriving on a weekday evening and the aromas of Pho broth lingered throughout the restaurant as we made our way to our table. We ordered a Vermicelli Bowl, Pho Dac Biet (Combo), and one Pho Chay (Vegetarian). The broth was fine - not too strong and not too salty. My only comment would've been to see and taste more cilantro and onions for garnish. Our food came out pretty quickly and we were in and out from indoor dining within 45 minutes. Generous portion sizes. read more
it ain't anything special - had high expectations given the glowing reviews but it was very very average. broth was very light and clean, but lacked the rich flavor that takes overnight to make. the portions come in small medium large but a small is plenty good for you if you're normally a regular. they did give plentiful meat portions and sprouts / basil which was nice! they were packed on a sunday 5:30 pm so service was lacking, for example we ordered summer rolls but they didn't give us the peanut sauce til 5 min after and we had already eaten most of the rolls. the rolls were pretty bland too... 3.5/5 read more

I got the pho dac biet and a few spring rolls and they were pretty delicious! The pho comes with a lot of meat and noodles so I'd size down the bowl. I got a medium and had to take half home and I usually can finish a small. The broth is pretty light but perfect with all the meat. The spring rolls were alright in my opinion. There was a good amount of greens and noodles but the peanut was a bit sweet for my liking. Overall a really good pho place! read more

Located south of the Far Eat Market sits one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the Denver area. What once was a Taco Bell or KFC has been converted to an updated and welcoming establishment. Ordered a variety of items including the spicy edamame, crispy egg rolls, vegetable pho, and a combo vermicelli bowl. I knew we were in for a treat once the edamame came out with a red chile and garlic sauce that could have been a stand alone condiment. The egg rolls were served with a variety of vegetables including lettuce, Thai basil, bean sprouts, carrots, and cucumbers which are a nice contrast to the egg rolls and fish sauce. The vegetable pho was excellent with a broth that I would select over its non-vegetarian counterpart and the combo bowl was overflowing with deliciousness. Yelp listed this as one of the top Vietnamese restaurants in the area along with a couple Westword awards and I can attest that it is a great restaurant to come and visit. read more
Eggrolls- CRISPY!!!!! get it in your vermicelli bowl instead of as an app Pho- broth is not too sweet which many pho places seem to be transitioning to (?) I am from California, so my standard for Viet food was pretty high. Still, Pho 95 didn't disappoint. Their "Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio" (Vermicelli with eggroll and BBQ Pork) was very generous, and their egg rolls were so crispy and were one of the best. There was so much food that the bowl of noodles could have been shared among 2 people. read more
I have been craving Vietnamese food since coming to Denver. So glad I found this place on here! I ordered the Pho 95 special, shrimp and pork spring roll, and fried egg roll! Everything was delicious and hit the spot. Our server was very friendly. Definitely coming back here again. Also their large bowl is HUGE! My bf was super full and content! I got a medium and wasn't able to finish so I think I'll get a small bowl next time haha. read more

The gold standard for noodles bowls and pho. Loved my combination noodles bowl. All the meats were well seasoned and tasty. My son had the combination pho and loved it as well. read more
Had the vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and fried pork egg rolls. This was a heck of a meal, one I couldn't finish, only because it was a very full bowl and they did not skimp on the pork. The grilled pork slices were nice and grilled and thicker than I've seen anywhere else. If I lived in Denver this would be my go-to Vietnamese restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive and prices were more than fair for what you get. read more
First of all, I absolutely love the service here! The folks at Pho 95 are so friendly and welcoming! Not to mention, I ordered my pho without noodles and asked for steamed bean sprouts instead and they delivered! Our server even made a suggestion to add more veggies to the broth, so additionally I ordered broccoli as well! It was a low carb delight! Their pho broth has a rich flavor that will bring you back to life if you're feeling exhausted... At least it worked for me! My Mom ordered the Banh Mi with tofu, avocado, and shrimp... she loved it and finished it all! Just keep in mind the ingredients that are in a Banh Mi sandwich! She was unaware of the raw jalapeño and was immediately shocked by the spice of it! Haha. I love the raw jalapeño and raw herbs/vegetables! That's my favorite part of Vietnamese cuisine... the delightfully fresh ingredients/herbs and Pho 95 has got it going on. My sister ordered the Chow Mein and raved about the flavor! I mean look how beautiful these dishes are! If you need a spot to sit down and enjoy an affordable meal that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside... This is the spot! read more

Our group was in the mood for some pho, so we decided to come here again. Definitely our go too pho place in the denver area. Most in the group ordered some variation of pho. I decided to go with their combination meat rice plate. It was ok. Lots of different types of grilled meat. Tasted pretty good. Great amounts of seasoning. Meats are cut thin which is good because some of it seemed overcooked. Came with 4 fried small rolls which were crunchy and delicious. Full of flavors especially when you dip it in the fish sauce. We also had some spring rolls. They were light and tasted pretty good. Service is so so. I guess when you go to any kind of asian establishment. Service is more or less the same. Impatient, loud, off putting types of attitude. But at the end of it they don't really mean it or get it that those are the traits they are exhibiting. What got me this time around though is that their to go containers were just sitting on top of the fish tank in the middle of the restaurant. And customers can just go up there to grab some containers and the staff also grab them from there. But when 1 of the containers fell onto the floor, a staff member came by and put it back up there, which is disgusting and pretty gross actually. Overall a solid pho place. Next time I'll probably stick to the pho, as it's name indicates. They have 3 different sizes, small, medium and large. The large is pretty huge, I would say easily over 40 oz worth of soup. So stick to the medium unless you think you can put down that much soup. read more

America is the greatest country in the history of human civilization. But if this great empire were to ever crumble and fall, I'm hopping on a plane straight to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Yes, Vietnam - Oh what a beautiful country full of beautiful people! Defenders of honor. Upholders of justice. Winners of the Vietnam War. And most importantly: Creators of pho. More specifically, I'd like to applaud the creators, owners, and chefs of Pho 95. They should be awarded 72 virgins in heaven and have their public records expunged of any past and future crimes. Although, the only crime they should ever be accused of is penetrating the Denver food scene and inserting its life-giving meat & broth into the menu. Surrounding pho restaurants should be ashamed of themselves, as they are not worthy to be in the presence or proximity of Pho 95! My new life goal is to be as generous and altruistic as Pho 95. All these other so-called pho spots think their meat is biggest and tastiest. They're so concerned about their bottom line that they limit the amount of meat per bowl. But not here at Pho 95. Never in my life have I experienced bottomless meat with pho - the more I ate, the more meat would start appearing from the bottom of the bowl! Food-wise, all you need to know is: Their noodles are succulent and their meat is juicy. I would waterboard myself with their broth. Pho 95 represents everything good in the world. In a world full of hate and greed, there stands Pho 95, like a mighty oak tree, standing firm against the corruption and incompetence of today's food industry. They actually care about their customers, dare I say, LOVE their customers. And you know what - I love Pho 95 too! God bless Pho 95. God bless Vietnam. And may God bless the United States of America. AMEN. read more

Pho 95 has been my husband and My favorite Pho joint for years and I'm finally getting around to leaving a review. We went yesterday with some friends and our kids (it's child friendly). We tried the bubble teas which were pretty good even though they're all from mixes not fresh fruit except the strawberry and avocado. My husband and I split the chicken bahn mi and a pork noodle bowl. The bahn mi was okay, nothing to write home about, but the noodle bowl was, as always, outstanding. I love the flavors of the grilled marinaded pork and the crisp veggies! (The grilled shrimp and lemongrass noodle bowl is my absolute favorite thing on their menu, but my husband wasn't feeling shrimpy so we got the pork, which is my second favorite.) Although we didn't get pho yesterday, the #12 with marinated rare steak is our favorite. We usually call in ahead for it and take it home, especially when we're feeling under the weather. It tastes like health in the best possible way- I can always feel myself getting stronger as I eat. They also do an amazing job of providing lots of yummy things to add to the pho- mint, Thai basil, and sauces! Finally, there ended up being a dragon dance at the restaurant yesterday for Lunar New Year which was an awesome surprise. One of the staff members told us that they have them throughout the year and you can find out when they're scheduled by following them on FB or Instagram. read more

I asked the guy on the phone to pick his favorite so he ordered me a brisket pho. It was delicious and hit the spot on a cold night! They offered tons of toppings (basil, onion, jalapeños, lime, green onions, hoisin sauce, sriracha, sprouts) and it was magical! :) read more
