Been here once. The service was really bad. We had an unpleasant woman serving us who was not friendly. She brought out our boba which was dripping wet from the overflow and I asked for a napkin and extra cup to put some of it in a cup instead of spilling onto the table. And I know I asked kindly because I was a little shy to ask. This woman rolled her eyes at us. And my boyfriend's grandma was upset at the fact that this woman rolled her eyes and let out a sigh. Another waiter came up to us and she had told him about the bad service and that server told the woman who originally served us and tried to make amends by being fake and still rolling her eyes. The food was mediocre and so was the boba. Not worth coming back if the service is this bad I left this review on another restaurant with the same name. Normally Vietnamese cuisine is one of my favorites but this was a major disappointment. We got seated pretty quick & the place is very large & fusion compared to most Vietnamese places. Our order got screwed up twice & then my chicken over broken rice came out very cold so wasn't pleasant to be eating cold grilled chicken. this is our family's first time using our feet in this restaurant. My favorite point here is that the restaurant space is beautifully decorated, and the paintings with bold Vietnamese countryside appeal to me. Mediocre place for Pho and other Vietnamese dishes. Our party ordered the pork Banh Mi, Bun Bo Hue, Hu Tieu, caramalized fish in clay pot, grilled pork over broken rice. The Banh Mi was OK nothing that will wow you. Pork was cooked well, but small for the price. You do get a chicken broth type soup with some fish chips with the dish. Bun Bo Hue lacked a little bit of that extra spice and flavor. Tasted more like instant Bun Bo Hue tbh. There was plenty of meat in the soup. And they gave me a lot of veggies which is what I love. The Hu Tieu dish was probably the highlight of the evening. Everything was spot on. Flavor was on point and you get plenty of sliced pork. The fish was delicious. Well seasoned and nice flavor from the BBQ like sauce. Grilled pork rice dish was also very good. Pork was not dry and you get a lot of meat on those 2 skewers. Pricing at this location is about 15-25% more than what it should be. They do offer Belly rewards here. A check in gives you 2 summer rolls. The staff members do need some training on dishes and table plating. Some components of the dishes would be missing or come out at the wrong time. We found the skewer stick in our Banh Mi. Not sure why it was there. We ate our summer rolls with no plates. Chopsticks and utensils came way after all our dishes arrived at our table. Jalapeno peppers came out for the wrong dish. The amount of rice given for each dish was a joke. Overall food here is alright. Service needs some work. If your in the area for some good Vietnamese food and don't want to drive further you might have to settle for this location. They have many other locations in the area that maybe better. Never had pho before and the waiter was extremely helpful in helping us decide what to eat. The flavor were incredible.

Nothing great, nothing horrible. The pho was decent...the broth was okay, but lacked something. I appreciated that they accommodated my request for tendon and tripe only (I'm odd that way). The rest of my family got bun (vermicelli noodles) with spring rolls. Another thing I appreciated is that they put all of the ingredients in a tray, then a layer of aluminum foil, then the spring rolls on top to keep them from getting soggy. The sauce for the bun was plain and it turned off my younger son. I'd say it was a little overpriced for the quality of food. read more

The restaurant Is pretty clean, cool and and more to the fancy pho restaurent. The waiter came to our table with i. 2 minutes and ask us if we like to get drinks. and answer some of our questions. We ordered fast and I must say the food is delicious. We ordered ban mi and it was so good it also came with chicken broth and shrimp CHips those were so bomb was so fresh. Our food came out very quickly had a large pho which they only have two sizes which a dollar more you might as well get the bigger one. On a rainy day there is nothing better than a bowl of Phó. The beef broth is divine, deep brown, rich, meaty, nicely spiced with subtle hints of aromatics. Tastes like Phó ought to taste. It was truly an experience. I am a lover of all things soup and I was not left want for anything. The flavor was spot on portions were right. They even offer a snack size bowl which is not typical of most Phó restaurants. Usually, the choices are giant and super giant. The decor is original, very homey all the while maintaining clean modern furnishings. Our server was very knowledgeable and kind. Quiet little spot for lunch. Working from out of town and have been searching for a pho place and came a cross this. There were only about 6 tables when I went in for lunch at 1 pm. Ordered the egg rolls and got pho ga (chicken pho). The food came out quickly and tasted great. The egg rolls were a perfect crisp and still hot! The pho was a large bowl and full of noodles and chicken. There were some pieces of dark meat mixed in which I picked out but the chicken was tender and flavorful. No chewy chunks (LOL). I'm from California and have definitely been unimpressed with Virginia beaches Ethnic food options. This Pho was the best I've had in a long time , Cali places included. The broth was amazing. The pad Thai was fresh, meat was high quality and veggies were not frozen. I enjoyed everything. The service was quick and attentive and the restaurant was quite clean. One of the best pho experiences I've had in a while! I'm used to the typical environment of pho restaurants (which are usually kind of stinky this time of year), but my boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The restaurant was clean and had a great theme. We started with an order of spring rolls, they were good! The shrimp was a little fishy for our taste but still edible and the peanut sauce was fantastic. We then both ordered pho for dinner, I believe it was P10. They were a mix of three different types of red meat. The broth was seasoned well without being over salted and the meat was tender. I was impressed by their house made chili sauce with lemongrass but be warned, it's spicy! I have been looking for a good pho restaurant on the beach and will definitely be returning to this spot! I've gone here several times. Especially because of the convenience since it next door to my favorite grocery store, Trader Joe's. I like that they are rather cleaner than other Vietnamese locations Ive been to and the facility is fairly newer and up to date compared to the other restaurants around town. Just by looking at their restrooms and comparing. Surprisingly they have nice bar seating and can whip up good drinks. Happy hours specials and cheap lunch I can't pass on. The pho here is a great choice. I love to get the papaya salad with fried tofu and the spring rolls. Just know if u order Thai tea, it's powdered and not the same as the traditional. Customer service here is always good. If u have a problem they will make sure u leave happy. Prices are reasonable, the wings are good for appetizer and they have a big selection of options. Vietnamese food is always a plus for me! Located in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach, it's in a pretty good and busy location. Inside is perfectly decorated with Vietnam themes and it seems pretty clean. No complaints here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We came here since my fiancé is sick and nothing beats a hot bowl of pho noodle soup to help ward away the cold. It's a rainy gloomy day today as well which is perfect for soup. Also on mondays, it's 50 cent wing night which was awesome. Apparently they're sautéed in fish sauce which gives it that unique Vietnamese flavor. The pho was great and has good beef flavor so you know it was made perfectly. Good Vietnamese cuisine over here! Only thing was that it took awhile for them to refill our waters even though our waiter saw our glasses were empty. We're a little parched lol. My first review was on their TO GO order. I decided to re write a new review. I have been here multiple times. Pho is almost always on point for me. I'd say they're one of the best pho places here in VA Beach. The other day we decided to switch things up and get their Hot Pot. We decided on the Hot and Spicy Pot. It tasted like Spicy Tum Yum. The fish balls were very fishy.. I don't know how better to explain it. And yes- fish balls are supposed to be fishy but they were more fishier than normal? lol.. We were really looking forward to the watercress and tofu that was supposed to be served with the hot pot but they failed to mention that they no longer included the watercress with the hot pot.. I guess they also stopped serving it with tofu with it? Probably will not get the hot pot again but will still come here for their pho :) read more

If I ever want to get pho, this would be my go-to spot. This is my second time here and I love it. My fiancé likes to come here on Mondays because they have .50 cent wings. He loves the wings, but I personally don't. They seem dry to me and taste very similar to take-out Chinese wings. Nothing really special about them. When we came here last Monday after 5pm, it got pretty busy, so the service was a little slow. They also had one of our bowls mixed up with someone else. We were finished with our meal for awhile; we probably sat there waiting for almost 10 minutes for them to know we want our check. But, the pho was amazing! I always get the round steak pho. The broth had really good/strong flavor to it. It had a good amount of noodles and plenty of meat, unlike other pho restaurants. I wouldn't go to any other pho in Virginia Beach, but this one. Didn't come for the Pho. I'm pretty sure they are the same owners of the Pho 79 near Pembroke so we were sure that the Pho was just as good as it was at the other location. We came for Hot Pot. Lau Thai Hot Pot. The presentation begins when they place a propane burner in the middle of your table. Then they bring out a huge steel bowl filled with a wonderfully spicy Thai soup. Tangy, sour, and just spicy enough. The bowl has an extended brim filled with a bunch of raw meat, squid, shrimp, fish, noodles, and raw veggies. You dunk your meat and veggies in the boiling broth to let it cook, put some noodles in your individual bowl, retrieve your meat and veg, top off your bowl with the broth, and slurp away. Repeat as many times as you want. And if you haven't done a hot pot before, you don't know what you're missing. The hot pot is the most expensive dish on the menu ($32), but it's a ridiculous amount of food. I'm pretty sure it's made for a few people or a small family but if you and a good friend are hungry, this is an awesome thing to order. And be forewarned- this dish can get messy. I was spilling soup from the main bowl to my soup bowl, dropping veggies on the table, using my hands to tear the noodles apart, etc. I was also blinded by intense heat of the boiling soup inches away from my body, not to mention having the propane burner set at a constant blaze right in front of you. The main soup bowl/burner contraption also sits up pretty high on the table so there are times that you have to stand up a bit to stir the soup and serve yourself. Like I said, this dish is messy. It's almost dangerous. But it is so freaking delicious. We spent a good hour and a half going to town on that hot pot. It's never-ending. I'm not kidding. We actually almost finished the pot and they offered to give us more soup and more noodles. We said yes and a minute later the pot was refilled and more noodles were brought out. I was in sweet-spicy-seafood-meat-noodle-soup heaven. We had to stop halfway through the second pot because we got full to the neck with pure Thai soup bliss. Try this dish with a friend or two when you come here. The Pho here is probably good, but the hot pot is amazing. Don't be afraid to get a little messy; just ask for extra napkins. read more
