The girl in my pictures with the blue hair wasn't too nice but the other employees were very nice and friendly. I get Kokee tea back home all the time...it's one of my favorites BUT for some reason their Taro Milk (purple love) had me so sick later that evening. Still having stomach pains now. Maybe it was just an off drink. I still enjoy anything here. The Virgin Mango Mojito and the Rose from San Fransisco are both great drinks with coconut jelly!!

This is the taro and you can see how not well blended it is. It's been melting now cause I refuse to drink it.

Their boba is absolute trash. I'm sorry but it's literally sugar flavored ice with powder mixed. The ice is not blended well at all so you just feel like you're eating an ice drink. Most ice blended drinks are way smoother. I will stick to Kung Fu Tea! I am a taro lover so of course I got that. My son's drink tasted the best out of the three we bought. Still wasn't a smooth blend though. The only thing I did like was their accessories you could purchase. Sorry but save your money and go elsewhere.

Looking for something refreshing while enjoying the beach? Bubble tea is definitely at the top of the list. Although it's overpriced like everything else on this street, the bubble tea is actually decent. They also offer a variety of mochi. I got the green tea mango passion fruit tea with boba. It was good and refreshing specially on a hot summer day. Nothing amazing but it was refreshing. They do not have a bathroom that you can use but there is a public bathroom across the street.

A Bubble Tea Paradise!! This quaint little shop is located directly across the street from my hotel. The shop is bright and clean and they are practicing social distancing. The customer service is top notch. I ordered a dragon fruit & rose tea w mango boboa! We decided to try the mango ice cream wrapped in rice dough. Both the tea & ice cream were refreshing on this hot summer birthday of mine!

I'm so sad..we live 3 hours away from here and now that we've discovered this was here, it's so upsetting! The staff was awesome! I never tried lychee before but now I crave it! The drinks are made fast! The options on their menu, vast! The atmosphere so relaxed and I really wish I could go here at least one a week! If you like Boba tea and others you have to try this out. The prices were really good for where it's located too!

My fiancé and I were strolling around VA Beach when we stumbled upon Kokee Tea. We ordered a mango passionfruit ice blend smoothie with boba. It was alright. We opted for 75% sugar and it was still pretty sweet. In hindsight, I think 50% would've been better. The bubbles were pretty good- big and chewy. I know we were by the beach but the drink cost $7+ which seems a little high! They also had macarons and mochis.

Not my fave boba spot in the area but this is definitely good! The milk tea wasn't too sweet and I enjoyed their boba, I would come here again especially spending time at the beach!

Best Boba tea on the ocean front strip. Very safe and very friendly, me and my wife were very impressed.

This boba spot is right by the boardwalk. It's clean, the employees were all wearing masks, and the drinks were made so fast!

We stopped by this shop randomly while walking by and we didn't regret it~ We love boba but wanted some refreshing fruit teas so we grabbed these two with dragonfruit boba and lychee jelly! They helped a lot with this August heat and tasted sweet and delicious~

Total rip off. Half of the glass was ice cubes. Staff was not willing to fix the problem. "That's the way we make all our drinks."

Amazing bubble tea. Taro milk with honey boba blew me away. So sad they are not year round, only tourist season.

My friends and I got different eggs benedicts and they were all amazing, I wish the one I got had more crab or some greens in it, but still delicious. I ended up on the combo of their soup and salad since their soup also sounded good. I was hesitant on the strawberries in the wine country salad since I know they're not in season really, but they were lovely. Everything in the salad worked well together and the dressing was nice and vinegary while still tasting of raspberries. It was very well balanced except for the ratio of toppings to greens. I feel as though there was just a little too much toppings. It could've used more leafs. As for the soup, it was a little bland, but after adding salt and pepper it tasted nice. It was mostly soup rather than crab or corn though. That was my only critique really, the temperature was good as well. It could've used some crackers on the side, but it wasn't necessary, just would've been a nice touch. Our waitress was quite nice, checked up on us and got us refills. All of our food came out together and hot. The sandwiches on other people's plates all looked wonderful, and after having a shoestring fry, I can definitely say next time I will be ordering some of those. As far as ambiance goes, it was nicely lit but still moody, which was appreciated. Very chill in there. Only reason I rate it 3 stars is because I feel as though there's room for improvement food wise, and price wise. $20+ for almost everything on the menu is pretty ridiculous. Even for some of the simple items. I don't think the food is that good, proportionately appropriate, or creative to be that much money. Maybe it's just me, but that's how I feel. I'll probably be back to try more items, I'd recommend coming here at least once to try if you haven't, during happy hour to get the best prices if you can.
