This bubble tea is inside lynnhaven mall. They have a big menu and lots of flavors. I ordered my typical winter melon hot and bubbles and the kids got their own drink - strawberry banana smoothie and a mango with jelly. The drinks came out and mine didn't taste like my normal wintermelon that I always get from other bubble tea spots. This one was missing something and was too sweet. I wasn't feeling it at all that I couldn't finish it. My daughter loved her mango drink and my son wasn't feeling his simple strawberry banana smoothie. I think I'll stick to my go to spot for bubble tea.
Been coming here since I was in high school and I get one thing only, the mango slushy. This slushy is a delightful treat every single time. The service is quick and friendly and the slushy is soooo good it has bits of mango which make it incredibly satisfying every-time.
I have been going to Jelly Ball for over 20 years. I remember when they first opened upstairs in the food court. It was awesome then and even better now because now they are right up front. As soon as you walk through the front doors of the mall you are able to pick up a wonderful treat for yourself. I love them. Lately I just run in and get my drinks for the day and go. I'm not even there for the mall. I'm just there for JELLY BALL. I have met people that get a drink and just walk the mall. Over the years I have gotten so many drinks. ALLLLL of them have been good. To tell you the truth. When we first started going to Jelly Ball we were just captivated by the little machine that puts the lids on. And they had to show us how to POP through the plastic with our straw. I LOVE THE SOUND OF POPPING THROUGH THE PLASTIC!!! Im still discovering all the different flavors. Thank goodness for YELP because I try to read and ask people what flavors they like and I put that on my list for next time. So I suggest JUMPING in with both feet and get a couple of drinks. You will not be disappointed. Strawberry Daiquiri-This one is listed under specialty drinks. Perfect for summer. Taste exactly like a Strawberry Daiquiri and great to take to the beach. Pearl drinks. I have had Mango, Peach, Papaya, Watermelon and Pineapple. All sweet, cold and tasty. Just remember you can't go wrong with a flavor you love. My next flavor is going to be dragon fruit. This year I have discovered the tea with bubbles . They have been AWESOME!!!! I have had the tea drinks at other BUBA tea spots. I have only had the Brown sugar marble tea with bubbles so far at Jelly Ball and I love sweet so I think it is great. Like I said I get myself 2 drinks at a time that way I can try more flavors. Jelly ball has been around lynnhaven Mall since the beginning. They have a nice little spot across from the food court, and hand you a buzzer to tell you your drink is ready. My only problem with Jelly ball is that the smoothies are a little icy. Let me counteract that complaint by saying that the milkshakes, which can be just as juicy as a smoothie will blow you away. The peach and mango milkshakes are our go-to with either mango pops or pineapple jelly. It's a hidden gem and a lovely little drink that will make walking around the little mall much more energizing and your outing more sweet.
This little boba kiosk is located at lynnhaven mall which I wish I could make it to more often. They had such a wide variety of not only milk teas but milkshakes and smoothies too. But of course I opt for what I always do and that is the jasmine milk tea. I love being on the hunt for a spot that can hit that perfect balance of tea and milk flavor and Jellyball did just that! I spotted this kiosk on my way out of the mall right when it was closing but they employees were more than happy to whip me up something quickly which I appreciate. Now this is a kiosk and not it's own storefront but they do still make it very cute and add to the ambiance with neat little trinkets up and the front where you order. I will definitely be back!!
Jelly Ball is one of the OG boba spots in the area! They've been around since Lynnhaven Mall had an upstairs food court. Now, their location is near T-Mobile, a big kiosk where the carousel used to be. My personal favorites are the Cantaloupe pearl (boba) drink, and sometimes I'll get the smoothie version and add boba too. They have pearl drinks, smoothies, milk shakes, teas, and you can add boba to all drinks if you choose. There's a small extra charge but worth it. They have tons of flavors, definitely too many to list. See pics of menu. My mom LOVES their halo-halo (says it's the best in the area, so many fixins'! Prices are very fair. They also have a location on Virginia Beach Blvd, and a location in the (hopefully) soon-to-be-open SK8 House (family entertainment center,) just down the street from this Lynnhaven mall location. I also enjoy the little extras that they sell. Grab yourself a Jelly Ball pin or pop socket. Sometimes they have Kinder Eggs or other goodies. Last time we went, my mom even got filtered masks. Customer service is always the number one thing I look to in place other than the quality of the product. Every single time my mom and I have gone here and have encountered the woman behind the counter, we have ALWAYS commented on how rude she was. They are really stingy with discounts & their punch cards (you can either have a military discount OR a stamp on you canard ... what?) and she has even charged my mom for extra boba when she didn't ask for it (ALWAYS ask for your receipt !!) Most of their drinks are powdered based or really sweet. But I do like their boba, though, and how I have never gotten it wrong (too hard or too soft). Despite it being so conveniently located inside Lynnhaven mall, I won't be returning here & I'll advise my friends not to as well!
Delicious durian shake, but $7+ for a medium without boba is super expensive!! The price varies depending on the fruit. Located at a kiosk between T-mobile and Verizon. The counter looks cute and clean with young workers. I love that they use real fruits. Enjoy!

Even though I moved away from Virginia Beach,I always make sure to stop by here when I visit! A great drink spot that offers a wide variety of drinks including Filipino specialties.I always go for their mango smoothie which is made from fresh mangos or their halo halo.Some people complain about the elder asian lady who is the owner that she's rude but every time I go there she's always kind to me.Service is fast and efficient and not once have I ever received an awful drink from here.A staple of the 757 and even though more bubble tea places have opened up in the area,Jelly Ball still continues to strive in business because of their loyal long time customers such as myself!
Got the strawberry daiquiri with strawberry pear balls!! Employees were super nice and my drink was so good! They prepared it in such a short amount of time too,, recommend this place. This place has smoothies,milkshakes,boba drinks,tea and more!!! And the prices are the best in the mall.
This has to be the best bubble drink place. Not only is it easy to find its at the mall. I'd like to say that walking here is a breeze it's in the mall where it's cool and shaded and tables where you can enjoy yourself and a drink. I ordered the taro milkshake and it's so bomb the flavor is great or the person who's blending it does an amazing job usually when you get drinks it can be to watery or still have ice chips in it which defeats the purpose of it. But this women knows how to perfectly make a great drink. The customer service is always a five star smiling and happy people. I would definitely recommend this place to other people and I just really enjoy the drinks here.
Boba Tea is one of my favorite drinks so my daughter and I treated ourselves to some Coffee Boba at Jelly Ball. The prices were very reasonable and the drinks were made pretty quickly. The lady making the drinks even asked if we wanted a small slit in the lid to help assist with adding the straw and I thought that was very helpful! I love how bright and decorated their shop is as well! The drinks were wonderful and the coffee was delicious. It wasn't overly sweet and tasted as if it were freshly brewed. The boba/tapioca pearls were also very good. I love the chewy texture and it paired so well with the coffee! Jelly Ball offers an array of hot and cold drinks and even has slushies and smoothies so I plan on trying something different every time I go lol! read more
I was at the mall and decided to check out this spot, and I'm glad I did! They have a huge menu ranging from boba to smoothies, energy drinks, and more. I went with a classic specialty drink: brown sugar marble milk with boba, and it did not disappoint. The staff, especially the friendly woman who made my drink, made the experience even better. She let me take my time exploring the menu without any rush, which I really appreciated. Once I got my drink, I enjoyed it at one of the tables in front of the shop. Great drinks, welcoming service, and a relaxed spot to enjoy your boba! If you're at the mall, check it out! read more

BEST. FREAKIN'. BOBA. EVER. Hands down. No questions. They have such a huge selection it gets hard to decide which one you want. One of the best things? THEIR FRUITS ARE FRESH. I was so surprised when I ordered the mango boba and they started peeling the mangos. WTH? Everything was so good and refreshing. Another favorite is that they offer POP BOBA. There's only another place I can get that so I was more than excited to finally get my hands or mouth on them. The service leaves a lot to be desired since the lady taking our orders did not once crack a smile and seemed a little annoyed when we asked for three different types of bobas on one drink but I don't even care. This is my favorite go to bubble tea place. Unfortunately they don't have a lot of tea places like they have when I used to live in California. The selection here is vast and I like that they make REAL shakes. I dislike the teas that are made up of the powder base but I don't mind having it if I have no choice. Here they use real fruits such as, mangos, watermelon, cantaloupe, avocados. The list goes on with how fresh they are. My favorite has to be the mango and persimmon bubble shake because I love the richness of the fruit and the authenticity if the flavor. I also like the taro boba and occasionally get the halo-halo flavor that caters to my filipino roots. I always grab a drink from here every time I hit up Lynnhaven Mall. read more

#1 Boba Tea This has been a place I have frequented ALOT when I got the chance to. Every time I went to the mall as a teen, I would stop in. Every time I go to Lynnhaven Mall now with my fiancé, I always stop by here, without a doubt!!!! It's just nostalgic!!! I believe Jelly Ball has been the original boba tea vender before bubble tea started popping up as individual cafes in VB and at restaurants. I remember when Jelly Ball set shop when the food court was on a second story. Nowadays, they have become a single chic kiosk in the remodeled Lynnhaven Mall entrance. The business has stayed rolling out drinks for 14 years, and now they have expanded with a new Jelly Ball shop off Virginia Beach Boulevard! They are slowly growing a chain as boba tea becomes a popular trend, and I'm So Excited to see them grow! They should stay forever!!!! My favorite go to flavor is Mung Bean, but unfortunately they don't carry it anymore since it never became popular. If you haven't tried boba tea or haven't had boba tea that you enjoyed, definitely give Jelly Ball a try. They have stayed in business for a reason!!!! read more

Great flavor choices and quick service. I like the colorful decor, easy to read menu and the craptastic t-shirt hanging up front that reads "got balls?". I had the guava boba tea with pearls (I've also tried papaya). They're a bit on the sweet side and they definitely give you enough "balls" in your drink. They have an assortment of flavors from fruits to bubblegum to coffee and chai tea. They also sell little kitschy Japanese toys and import sodas and candy here. If you've never done the boba thing, make a stop at this shop in the mall. It's worth the new experience and you might just like it. read more

Love love me some jelly ball! You will never go wrong with Tea or a Smoothie, and never forget to add the Tapioca pearls a.k.a jelly balls! YuM!! I've tried lots of flavors such as Taro, Thai, Mango, Strawberry Banana, Green Tea, Milk Tea and my most favorite White Mocha! I love the smoothie/milkshake like texture more than the regular tea ones. So many other flavors to choose from, and they even make their fruity flavors with real fruits not powder. The Tapioca pearls are perfectly made, soft and jelly. I've tried others and it's never this good. I've been going to Jelly ball ever since they use to be upstairs, and it's still as deliciously made. I actually like their new looking kiosk like area. PRO: Great Customer Service, with helpful suggestions here and there. So many boba tea flavors to choose from and even other types of drinks. CON: Their is No Cons!! I definitely recommend this place, when you stop in Lynnhaven Mall!! read more

Love this place! My husband and I stopped by here on our way out of the mall and I'm glad we did! He got a strawberry smoothie and I got a Thai boba tea. Delicious! Can't wait to try something new next time. The lady that runs the register is friendly and helpful if you've never been there before. read more

I like this place. I really do. Tonight I got my favorite in a large (avocado smoothie with boba), but as I was enjoying it I spit out all few small hard pieces. Turns out its plastic. I'm not sure what happened, but I don't think I'll be able to enjoy them anymore because of the broken bits of clear plastic in my drink. :( read more

I got the banana Boba tea..i have this crazy obsession with banana flavor..it's my kryptonite..my friends didn't like the Boba, but I'm a huge fan!! Except I choked on one of the balls hahaha..oops I loved it so much I went back and got a banana smoothie before we left, I was very happy when I saw them using real bananas and I absolutely love how they seal it..very cool.. and give you a big straw u can pick your own color and poke it threw the top.. To be honest I liked the flavor of the Boba tea the best but I like the cold smoothie texture of the smoothie..if the could make the smoothie taste just like their Boba tea I'll be in sooo much trouble lol.. The guy told me I can add the Boba to my smoothie if I want which I will get next time..yumm.. The absolute only complaint I have is I wish they would have their straws in a wrapper..i just think it would be much more sanitary..other than that I loved it!! read more
