Tapioca Go has officially become my go-to bubble tea spot! My favorite drink is the Taro Milk Green Tea, and it's surprisingly hard to find because most bubble tea places only offer regular taro milk tea. Ever since all of the Kung Fu Tea locations in the 757 area closed, I've been searching for a replacement, and this is the only place I've found that serves taro milk green tea. It tastes just like the one I used to get from Kung Fu Tea, which made me so happy! As the name suggests, it's more of a order-and-go shop. They have two self-order kiosks if you want to order yourself, or you can order directly at the register. The staff has always been friendly whenever I've visited. The shop itself is small, but that's expected for a order-and-go concept. They do have a few benches where you can sit while you wait for your order, which is a nice touch. If you're looking for great bubble tea especially if you're a fan of taro milk green tea I definitely recommend giving Tapioca Go a try! read more

I had mango smoothie with clear jelly, it was good and really to my liking but 50% sugar is just right, it was not 5star because the service was not so good, the server forgot to add my jelly and just changed the cup but not made the new drink. On a warm humid day, this is the place to go. I ordered mango green tea. It was either zero or 100% sugar. I wish they had 50% sugar. There's no order person so you will be greeted with the kiosk that only accepts credit cards. However, their drink was refreshing. read more

I popped in here the other day for a caffeine boost. I had the Volcanno. It was really good. I like the tea is hot though the milk is cold. It was a great contrast. Shake it, swirl it, and your food to go! The staff member was super friendly and helpful. She answered all of my questions. It is an order and pickup place FYI, hence the name. read more

I got a large Thai tea ($6) with 75% sugar. It was made in about 15 minutes. The drink was quite solid, a good balance of sweet flavor to tea. You order via a self serve kiosks and then the staff makes the drinks. Inside is quite small just enough space to order and stand only. There were two people making the drinks but it did take a bit of time for the drinks to be made. The logo is quite fun to look at. Overall a good spot for boba drinks. read more

I'm really picky with my boba drinks and this place is just as good as the ones back home in California! So happy to find a good boba spot in the 757! My go to is the mango and the brown sugar drinks. They're so refreshing. You can choose the sugar levels. I'm good with my 25%. Even without much sugar, it's just as sweet and tasty. I've tried all flavors of the custard creme puff (taro, matcha, and original). They all taste good but the original is my favorite. The screens to place your order are so convenient. The people are friendly and they make the drinks fast. Love the upbeat K-pop music they play and love looking at the cute cats drawing on the wall while I wait. My spouse and I came here randomly. It's a cute little shop with reasonable prices! I got the taro milk green tea with tapioca, my spouse got coconuts milk tea with tapioca and strawberry star jelly. Tiny little bubble tea place next to the charcoal chicken in loehmann's plaza. So if you're looking for a, you got to look a little! Don't plan to stay. It's small. Maybe a couple of little seats but it's not really meant to sit and have the tea it's more of a pickup and go place! You can talk to the lady and order or use the touch screen which I did. Lots to choose from! A little bit overwhelming cuz there's so many choices. I went ahead and went with the rose oolong with cheese foam. I'm so not too sure what she's foam is but I really like it! My kid wasn't the biggest fan of the cheese foam but at least I found it bubble tea that she would like. Score! They have some cute little desserts but I didn't order any. I had the biggest addiction of Beard Papa that was popular in my country. Since I moved to VB, I had been craving for cream puffs since I came back from my country like 8 years ago, and I finally found my "puff dealer"! Once I saw their posters of cream puffs, I immediately pulled over to the nearest parking spot and went in. The staff was friendly and the place is full of cute kitty drawings on the wall. Guess what I ordered? Original cream puff! I also ordered the Matcha cream puff cuz why not lol. Both cream puffs were stuffed with custard cream, and the top of the pastry was crunchy and sweet. Once you bite onto the cream puff, you get the texture of crunchy and sweetness. After that, the creamy and chilled custard just busts into your mouth. The cream isn't too sweet, but the pastry has added a hint of sweetness with a crunch to it so they got my highest Asian compliment of dessert, "not too sweet." I haven't tried their drinks yet, but I am confident that their drinks will just be as good as their cream puff. I can't wait to come back and refill my cream puff prescription! read more

I am so glad they put a location in Virginia Beach. The only time I would visit them was when I was in the Chesapeake Area. This little spot is a hidden gem tucked away in the side of the shopping center. I feel like its a smart location being by a comic book anime store too. You know this location would attract that crowd. Tapioca Go is a Boba go to for sure! When you come in, the Inside has a cute wall set up for some nice pics too! They have a lot of options and desserts to choose from. When you order, it is very Introvert friendly. This establishment is family owned and are as sweet as the boba! YES!! I have always loved the Chesapeake location, and I'm so glad they are expanding to Virginia Beach. Their drinks are always delicious whether you get fruity or milky. This time I got the oolong milk tea, and it truly hit the spot. The flavor was creamy and sweet. I always do the regular amount of sugar and ice because I like sweet stuff. If you don't like sweet things, you can always adjust the sugar levels. I love the cute cat vibe. This location does not have a sitting area, so plan to pop in and pop out. We used the tablets to make our order. I like using these for a quick service spot, as you are able to browse the menu right on the tablet. It didn't take too long for our drinks to come out. Earl Grey in the window caught my eye and I had to try this place out. I was not sure what Tapioca was so I was not sure what to expect. Small place but packed with friendly service who patiently explained what I was trying. I know I am not a boba fan but my server was so friendly she knew exactly what I wanted. I ended up with an iced earl grey with lavender bubble tea and it is awesome. Price is comparable to than other tea places but the flavor is outstanding. I love coming into this little establishment. The people are always so friendly and helpful. I've been trying their smoothies for sometime now, and never had written a review. Today the lady recommended a mango strawberry smoothie. She asked me what toppings I wanted and I decided to try the mango stars. Came here for a sweet fix after work, and what a cute spot! I had been to the Chesapeake location before and liked my drinks there, but haven't been around the area for a while. Glad to have another location in VB! The decor is adorable with a cat theme to it. The store is a bit small with only a wall bench to sit on, so if it ever gets busy, it could get a bit cramped. If they ever decide to expand though, I would absolutely love to sit and chill in a cafe like that! As for the drinks, I ordered for my family the yatsuhashi with cheese cream, jasmine milk tea, Thai tea, and taro black milk tea. I had the yatsuhashi, and it was really good! The drink comes with red bean topping, which added a nice sweetness to the bitter matcha. The matcha itself tasted very well-mixed and paired nicely with the saltiness of the cheese cream. I didn't get a chance to try the other drinks since my family drank it all before I could haha but from secondhand accounts, they were all good! This spot is so good. There are a few Boba places around here that are really good, but I always find myself coming here when I'm craving it, not least because they have both coffee jelly and egg pudding as toppings instead of just plain boba (my favorite!). I'm a fraud who gets iced coffee at boba places most of the time lol but their coffee option IS delicious!! Absolutely love this place. I always went to the Chesapeake one, but only if I was nearby there. This location has made my dreams come true! When I walked in one thing that was lovely was how neat and tidy. Also, being greeted once walking in. It's their grand opening, and with every drink you get a little cake. They have them up front in a little spin display that is utter precious. I went with a regular I always get which is the kumquat and lemon drink. It is so so refreshing, and very yummy. It's sweet, but very tangy, and I love the fresh lemon in it. The service is fast, and they have order kiosks for you to get your order in quickly and helps with any line issues. Also, if you're someone more introverted it's nice to have the kiosk to order without feeling too nervous or overwhelmed! I am so happy about this near location, and the quality is on point!
