    Chicken pho
    China B.

I was feeling a little congested so I was on the hunt for soup or something hot. So I found this Pho restaurant that used to be prince noodle. I really wanted the ramen, but the nice owner advised me that Pho was just as good. She went over the menu with me and helped me figure out what I wanted. The owner had good customer service and was very friendly!! I got the chicken Pho with jalapenos, bean sprouts, scallions, and lime. It was $22 with tax, so I was a little disappointed with the prices. The pho came so you can put it together when your ready to eat it. It has a large broth on the side. I put everything together, but it was a little bland. She had given me sriracha and hoisan sauce, and chili pepper oil to add to the soup. I guess I misunderstood the spice level because that stuff was hawtttttt, lol. It was more than regular spicy, so don't get in there trying to be big and bad unless your a spice king or queen!! Lol. But on a better note, it cleared my sinuses and I could breathe. So I highly recommend it for that purpose. I added some seasonings and kewpie and it was better. There's seating inside and plenty of parking out front. They also serve other traditional Vietnamese dishes and rice. Check them out!!

Very calming ambience and cleanliness is top tier! We were greeted immediately upon entering with smiling faces and then we were served probably the best Pho we have had in VA beach. I got a small and still left feeling full. This is the best type of meal during this weather. They will be seeing a lot of us in the future. Definitely want to come back to try the coffee!!

I was originally going to give this place a 5/5 especially since this was my third time coming here and I've always enjoyed it. However after my visit yesterday I have to lower my rating a bit. I usually order the Pho Dac Biet which normally comes with a variety of meats. This time though it seemed like I was shorted on some of the meat options. Even though I'm Vietnamese I don't fully understand the language but I believe I overheard the cook telling the waiter that they were out of fish balls and that he should let me know. Unfortunately, that was never mentioned to me.I didn't realize it until after I finished my pho and later looked back at an old photo of my usual order. That's when I noticed something was missing yet I was still charged full price. That part was definitely disappointing. Still this is unfortunate because this has been one of my favorite pho spots. The portion sizes are great, I always leave feeling full, and the prices are very fair. I just wish they had been more upfront about what was unavailable instead of serving an incomplete order without saying anything.

Love pho so I was so excited to see an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. But they are more than pho with other of their signature dishes. The broth pho was rich in flavor and you really didn't have to dress it up with condiments. The staff is super friendly and can't wait to check them out again!

I visited Pho House on a Friday afternoon on 5/23/25. I heard about them through friends, but I paid attention to this business' address since it replaced Prince Noodle (which permanently closed nearly a year ago). Pho House looks a little different than Prince Noodle, but its optics are generally still the same. They weren't busy - there was one customer finishing up his meal when I arrived. The venue looked clean and organized, and upon entering a female employee motioned me to a small two-top and gave me a menu. Like the previous business, Pho House doesn't have a soda fountain. They offer drinks in bottles, so no free refills. As is the norm whenever I have pho, I almost always order spring rolls (with cucumbers, lettuce, vermicelli, shrimp and pork, all rolled up in rice paper). I ordered theirs and I felt Pho House's spring rolls were excellent. For my main course, I opted for the Hot Stone Pho. This piqued my interest after seeing customers post about it on IG. The Hot Stone Pho arrives at your table with the broth inside a sizzling stone bowl, and the other ingredients (noodles, rare beef, veggie) are on a separate plate. You throw in all that stuff in the broth, let it cook up a little, eat, and enjoy. I found this form of pho to be outstanding. All the ingredients were fresh and the broth was delicious and hot. I wasn't able to finish my bowl because the portion size was huge, so I had plenty of leftovers for later. Service was good, albeit quiet and reserved. The girl who sat me was also my server, but there was a man there (who looked to be the manager, maybe even owner) who also waited on me. Since both were on the quiet side, it was difficult to get comfortable, although neither were ever mean or unapproachable. I think the one aspect that may hurt Pho House are their price points. For a pho spot, they are markedly more expensive than many of the local pho spots I've visited. Their food, imo, is quality, but I don't know how they will compete when other pho spots offer similarly quality food at less expensive prices. I've read other reviews that stated as much, and some have gone as far as saying Pho House ripped them off. I'm not going to go to that extreme, but Pho House's price points do leave me thinking twice. Regardless, Pho House offers excellent pho and spring rolls in a clean establishment. Once they rock out the customer service portion, and maybe reconsider their price points, I think they'll be good to go. I hope they're around for a bit, because I feel like this is a good location with a lot of potential. JV

    Three color dessert
    Orochi M.

I was excited that they have Sugarcane drink, it tastes good. The three color dessert is the MOST EXPENSIVE one I've had in America, priced at literally 1.5-2x other places. The flavor was on point but the red bean was undercooked. Management got alot of issues to take care here. Their menu prices are alot higher (15-20%ish) than most others around here and the listing is confused with previous Chinese restaurant that they took over.

They have the best pho! Deep beef flavor, generous tender meat. Bun bo hue was good too! Will definitely go back.

Pho, but oops ate some first
    Darcy R.

Went here for first time since this iteration and it was decent. I had the fresh rolls they were tasty. A little less veggies than other local places. Friend got some Pho, their prices for pho are a couple dollars higher than other spots but it was a generous portion and the meat looks great. Friend said it was spicier than expected. The place is decorated well and tvs had a show about street food on. The staff was really friendly and offered condiments for flavor and heat and was knowledgeable about the menu. I dk if ill return bc i didnt find the food to be superior to similar places that are a bit cheaper. But its a solid choice and clean, good food.

Food here is hands down amazing! We ordered com tam and Hu tieu kho, both were flavorful and delicious! The presentation of com tam was also superb. Will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu. Oh also forgot the mention the refreshing sugarcane drink. No where else beats this place

Hot stone pho with beef brisket and rare beef (opted out of tripe, tendon, and beef balls)

The best pho broth in town! The hot stone bowl is a very unique experience and they are very accommodating with meat preferences. Service is friendly and quick and the ambiance is cozy. Absolutely give this place a try, the flavor beats out any other pho I've had in VB!

    Price on the Menu

Disappointed and Overcharged | Don't get SCAMMED. I really wanted to like this place based on all the great reviews about food quality, generous portions, and affordability. Sadly, our experience didn't reflect any of that, and I feel compelled to share why. 1. Misleading Menu & Unavailable Items We visited expecting the dishes featured in photos and reviews on Google Maps, but none of them were available. When we showed the server what we had hoped to order, he said they were no longer offered due to new management. We settled for what was on their current menu since we were already there. 2. Incorrect Pricing & Overcharging The items we ordered were listed on their own menu as $25 and $7.50, but we were charged $30 and $8.50. Even after my husband pointed this out to the staff, they still charged us the higher prices. No apology, no correction. This is misleading at best, and at worst, feels like intentional overcharging. 3. Low Quality & Poor Value We ordered the #10 Beef and Oxtail pho. What we received was one large boney oxtail and one small piece with barely any meat...both were tough and not enjoyable. The broth was just okay. For $30, the portion was small and nowhere near worth the cost. I've had far better pho at a fraction of the price. It's disappointing that they appear to be riding on old reviews and outdated pricing while delivering an inferior experience. It feels like false advertising and a lack of transparency. We still paid and even tipped 10%, despite knowing we were being overcharged, because we don't believe in stiffing servers. But this business practice is unethical and will catch up to them. Bottom line: I DO NOT recommend this place under its current management. It's just not worth it

To our surprise, Pho Nguyen actually serves beer and sake! This has become our go-to pho spot now. But y'all, let me tell you... the broth here is so on point. I add nothing but veggies, jalapeños, and a fresh squeeze of lime. I mix hoisin and sriracha in a little saucer for dipping the meat and basil. The pho noodles are cooked to perfection. I also love that they offer a small bowl option. Nothing makes me feel more guilty than not being able to finish a huge bowl of pho, and here the small size lets me enjoy the noodles, meat, and broth without wasting anything. Definitely order the fish sauce chicken wings. They're so good... a bit on the smaller side, but still delicious. We always order fresh spring rolls out of habit when we have Vietnamese food, and since they make them fresh, they were able to get the shrimp on the side for me. Service is solid, even on a Friday night. They're steady paced, check on you regularly, and we've never had any issues. The decor is simple but gets the job done, and the vibe is casual and relaxed. It's the perfect spot for a cold, rainy-day meal. Bathrooms are clean. The restaurant is in a busy Walmart shopping plaza, so drive slowly... there's a lot of foot traffic and cars in the lot.

I ordered takeout, but the restaurant itself has plenty of seating. When I walked in, I was greeted right away and directed to the counter to order. The service was quick--I didn't have to wait long at all, which is always a plus. I started with the beef skewer, which came with a very small side of salad--just a couple slices of cucumber, some tomatoes, and a bit of lettuce with dressing. It was a nice surprise since I wasn't expecting anything extra, but if you're looking for a real side salad, you might want to order one separately. The beef skewer itself was delicious--tender, easy to bite into, and the slightly charred ends added great flavor. Definitely a solid appetizer or side. For my main, I got the vegetarian pho with extra tofu and no mushrooms, and it really hit the spot. The broth was flavorful and comforting. I added jalapeños and oyster sauce, and honestly, I couldn't eat it fast enough. The noodles and veggies were fresh and satisfying. Overall, a great experience--I'll definitely be back!

This place looked like it specialized in bánh mì, so we figured we'd give it a shot. The shop itself is really cute, and they also have boba drinks, which pulled me in because I love boba. I ordered a Thai milk tea along with our sandwiches. That's kind of where things went downhill. The tea tasted really artificial...like, not something I've had before, and the color was off too. It was also super sweet. My boyfriend tried it and said the same thing. For food, we split two sandwiches: he got the marinated pork and I got the roasted pork. The roasted pork was honestly disappointing--almost all fat. I get that pork has some fat, but this was excessive. Most pieces were barely meat, and the texture was just not good. I ended up picking around it just to eat something. The marinated pork was actually pretty solid. But since the other sandwich was such a miss, we basically ended up eating a marinated pork and what felt like a veggie sandwich.
