Sample Platter

Good: pretty good Ambiance: feels like family-owned Vietnamese restaurant! Service: good My friends and I got the sample platter, and pho, tai gan sach. Everything was pretty tasty. I also liked the pho broth. I would come back and try some other dishes.

The food was very delicious and everything came out made to order. The service was good and the vibes of the restaurant were pretty peaceful.

They had added Thai tea to the menu and i was super excited yo try it out, it doesn't even taste like Thai tea. The Thai tea tastes water down. Was pretty disappointed in the drink

Five Star for what it is . . . one of the best "neighborhood" Vietnamese places in town. DON'T MISS THEIR SPICY OYSTER WINGS . . . my favorite wings in town. LOTS to find on the menu, and they do get busy every lunch hour. Check out an exhaustive look at tundrabites.com

Pho 400 was great for dinner tonight. We all got versions of Bún thịt nướng and all were amazing. Service was friendly and quick. Inside was your classic Vietnamese spot. Yummy!

Yet another tasty dish! This time we both had the 45! I added meatball, he added the shrimp. This unassuming place never disappoints, is family friendly, and reasonably priced.

The service is fast here. Got the food quickly. Staff is friendly. Ordered the rare steak and brisket pho. I ate thar at the restaurant. Also, I got the pork and shrimp springs rolls and salt pepper wings to-go. The pho was good. (5/5) The spring rolls were not bad. (4/5) The wings were way overcooked, and I did not taste any salt or pepper. (0/5) I would come back just for the pho.

I've been to many Pho spots in Minnesota, and this one has one of the best broths. Some broths are cloudy or include many impurities (little grey stuff floating around), but not this place. The broth is super clear. It's also full of flavor. You can tell they put a lot of time into the broth to ensure it's perfection. We'll be back, and this might be the primary destination every time we get the Pho craving... which is often.

Instagram: @xcyanneats Pho 400 Not too shabby! Pho was neutral in flavor but I could taste the bit of sweetness to it. Lots of meat added in it which is amazing. Was kind of sad the chili oil wasn't as spicy but it's alright. Didn't get to taste the wing as I got too full, but the egg rolls are sure stuffed! Really like what they did with the extra tendons, lol putting it into another bowl with more broth. sap sap

Wow! I passed by this place and just had to stop. I am a pho lover and saw the prices and they were so reasonable! I ordered the spring rolls, pad thai, and pho! The service was so quick and amazing, shout out to all of the staff! The restaurant was very clean, and inviting! Definitely coming back ;) (I LOVE restaurants that arent shy on the bean sprouts!)

Spring rolls!

I saw the review for Pho in the paper. I was going to be in the neighborhood, so thought I would give it a try. It did not disappoint! The spring rolls came out right away and were very fresh. The Pho was A LOT of food but was very good and flavorful. I would strongly recommend giving this place a try!

Good was not fresh and lukewarm. Egg rolls were good and pad Thai OK, but chicken seemed to be reheated and not fresh.

Great food, service and prices! Bahn mi sandwiches and baguettes are incredible and only cost $5.99. Pho is delicious too.

Some of the best Pho in cities, but their Bun salad is my favorite. The atmosphere is nothing fancy.

I lived in the Houston and Garland Texas area all my life where there is a large vietnamese population... and for the past 5 months, I have just been exploring Minnesota and Wisconsin and Illinois for vietnamese food. This evening... I was just craving pho. lets start with the ambiance. Its a pretty hip place once you get inside. I do like the cultural blend of modern and old school, and you see it with the different type people that come in. The staff there was prompt, and unlike my old school favorite in Richardson Texas... the staff to customer ratio was high. So the service was quick and attentive. Now for the pho. I went with the Dac Biet because I never know sometimes if I will get tough precut preprocessed meats... not in this case. I felt that all the ingrediants were fresh...and catered toward the old school viet palette, which I thank you. I understand a lot of pho house have to stay in business and cater to the local palette but this one was spot on. You can just breath in the right mixture of ingrediants. The bowl was reasonably priced, and the portions were similar to what I am used to having in Houston. It was fantastic as I scarfed it down to quick and forgot to take a picture. However, all the pictures that I have seen associated with this location are accurate. Overall, I would come back here. I am interested in trying their Stone pho next time as th emenu advertisement made it look tasty.

Service staff was as expected for a busy day and we kept getting the wrong items sent out but they were nice and apologetic, it was just a busy day and had newer staff. Parking is limited, be sure to pay attention to where you're parking since certain spots are meant for businesses nearby. They have patio seating but I don't know if they actually provide food service outside. Bathrooms are currently out of service so they have two port-o-potties outside. It's a nice space and gets lots of natural sunlight, I do wish they had some tint or blinds though because we were seated next to a window and it was a bit blinding especially with the sun reflecting off the metal cups and laminated menus. I've heard great things about their food but for me it was a miss. We all had pho but the amount of herbs and fresh toppings wasn't sufficient for 6 phos. They were accommodating and gave us additional items we asked for. The calamari was on the greasier end and was bigger than expected. For my palate both the banh mi and pho were lacking in flavor. I put a lot of things into my pho but it just didn't taste like anything to me except for pho powder. The ribeye pho had a generous portion of broth but only like 5 slices of meat. The oxtail stone bowl pho one looked hot and didn't have enough space to add everything in without it overflowing while the other didn't look like the broth was hot enough to cook the noodles. I will say though their ordered drink cups and to-go containers game was top notch. I received a reusable bag with my two banh mis to go instead of a plastic bag. It's probably not somewhere I'd return to unless someone else absolutely had to have it but to each their own.

That said, I guess grabbing a table should be easy. It may even be easy snagging one of parking spots in the back (enter through alley). Otherwise there's street parking (on side streets). The two staff members working when I went were pretty welcoming and polite. One was packing up the takeout orders, which thankfully included mine. I don't know if it's due to what I order or the small quantity, but my food is always ready as soon as I arrive (within 15mins of ordering). The Egg Roll has been consistently good, crispy, and flavorful. No complaints there. This time I decide to try the cream cheese wontons. Very crispy, tasty, but a little low on filling. One major downside is they didn't serve it we that sweet sauce. They gave ample duck sauce packets, but I just ended up using the sweet and sour sauce that I have from Trader Joes. The wings were a disappointment. They're cooked hard, actually too hard. The skin was tight, the meat a bit dry, and the flavor bland. TBH, I think for the future I'll stick with the Egg Roll which can be ordered as two pcs or as one pc (1/2 order).

The Beef Rendang was a delightful mix of spice, herbs, coconut, and tamarind. The beef was tender and the broth was perfectly rich! The toasted coconut milkjam ice cream was an odd, crumbling, dry texture that was not enjoyable. Might be the worst dairy free ice cream I've had unfortunately. The Tom Yum soup is some of the best I have ever had. Been here three times and I have not ordered anything else as it's so good. Trust me the food here is five out five without a doubt. So why the four star then? Well the service has been mixed for me here. The first time it was amazing. They were helpful and guided us to a great meal. The last two times it's been ok. The waitress the last time was tapping the table when my son was having a hard time deciding what to order. Not a good impression to leave. Also a small gripe as I am not a fan of restaurants that do not have soda from a fountain with free refills as 3 dollars for a can of pop is a bit much. The ambiance is classic Asian themed that fits the establishment well. Love the food and with a bit better service and options for drinks this would be a five easily.

The wontons were cooked really well--crispy and fresh--but a little on the bland side flavor-wise. Still, I'd take them over the egg rolls, which were smaller than expected and just okay. That dish alone is enough to bring me back. Next time, I'm definitely trying the hot and sour soup. Looking forward to returning soon.
