Middletown Main Street strip seems to mandate a very standardized unattractive look on the outside. However this small unassuming restaurant is a total find! You walk in to counter where you order and small unfancy tables but the food is solid portioned served fast and fresh at a great price! We did get the sense that they held back on the traditional Vietnamese spice. In our multi-day stay, Pho170 is a staple. Top picks for food portion and quality - garlic beef, spicy basil beef, etc. We had mixed opinions on their Vietnamese sandwich. Boba tea was ok but the flavors were bit limited and there are other nearby options for boba. Don't miss eating here for a happy, affordable and non greasy meal!

There are many similar restaurants along Main Street. There was nothing bad about this one, nothing good or great either. It is concerning when some of the bottles of condiments show having expired months and in one case years earlier. The server was friendly and the order was quick. Prices comparable to others.

Food is fantastic! I was a die hard Thai gardens fan but ever since the last few management changes it hasn't been the same but pho170 is easily replacing it. One down side is it's not as upscale of a restaurant from an interior and service perspective as TG was. But the food.... SUPERB

Great job!!! I'll definitely be back. I definitely recommend!! Reasonable prices and delicious food.

Beautiful, authentic, and delicious food. Get the fried dumplings. Get the beef & meatballs pho. Get iced coffee. And go absolutely off. Let Pho170 cradle your soul. It's always just what you needed. "I think you're gonna like it here".

I've been meaning to try Pho 170 for quite a while. Today I was craving pho and decided to drop in for take out. I had the chicken pho and it was extremely flavorful and delicious! This was the first time, but definitely not my last!!

Food is fabulous, authentic and reasonably priced by today's market! The owners are family and pleasant and efficient in their service of customers. Conveniently located and good parking access. Pad See Ew was delicious!

Wings were really really good. Super crunchy and goes great with the sweet chili sauce. Pho had good flavor. Does come with ginger if you don't like it. Portion size wasn't all that great and neither was the taste of the meat. Taro bubble tea had jelly in it and not tapioca balls. Also it was a cup mainly filled with ice. I wouldn't go back there for anything other than the wings.

This is a really good local pho place. I ordered the brisket pho and my husband ordered the combination pho. It was everything that we expected. I love the homemade chili sauce and I put it in my pho for a kick of spice. The spring rolls are pretty good too although next time I'll get the chicken. Only con: Small selection of bubble tea though, my husband wanted one but they didn't have what he wanted so we went to the Thai ice cream shop down the road instead.

Yum! This is the first time I've tried pho, so I don't know how it compares to other places, but it was very tasty. I tried the chicken pho and my partner had the brisket pho, both of which were really flavorful. We also got the crab rangoon. It was definitely one of the best crab rangoon I've ever had! I was a little surprised there weren't more options on the menu, but I was pleased with what I got. Our boba tea was sweeter than other bubble tea I've had in the past, but still quite good and refreshing. Next time I would like to try the smoothie version. The service at Pho 170 was quick (we did takeout) and the staff was friendly. I would return here!

Time and time again the best meal I've gotten in Middletown. Love sitting inside, dumplings were fresh and so perfectly crisp. I love their dipping sauce blend as well. Their Pho is hot, hearty, and so flavorful as it is, and they provide many free toppings and condiments. Their quality never wavers.

Came here on a lunch break one day to fulfill my Pho craving. Parking outside was a pain (have to pay to park). I sat at the bar, it took awhile for someone to realize I was there, and he wasn't the friendliest man, but it's ok, I just wanted some soup in my life! I ordered the rare beef pho soup. Came with the side of fix-Ins minus the jalapeño, wah. Was served with a tiny side of sriracha and hoisin sauce which of course I had to ask for more and got another tiny side. Overall, the soup was decent. Oh yea, and The noodles were a different type of thicker noodle which was a nice change for pho soup, I actually really liked it! If I was in the area and wanted Pho, I would stop again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

Lots of orders, going out the door and only a few tables at lunchtime on that day. This was my first foray into Thai food, and it was great! I have a gluten allergy so I asked the waitress about it. It was excellent and I did not get sick. My friends enjoyed their dishes as well. I can't remember the names of what they were, but I took pictures of them. Upon coming in, our party was split into two large tables. It took a little bit of convincing, but they obliged and let us put the tables together. I decided to order the house salad as well as the Rama (a vegetable dish with rice and peanut sauce) with shrimp and tofu. Our appetizers came out quickly and my house salad was very good. It was a combination of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sliced carrots, big pieces of broccoli and cucumber and pineapple with a side of peanut sauce. Scrumptious! Very fresh and tasty. My one downside with the meal was just how long it took to get our entrees. I understand we are a party of 20, but the restaurant wasn't packed by any means. Took more than 1 hour - probably closer to an hour and a half - to get our food. By the time the food came, I was very hungry. However, the rams dish was great. The shrimp was large with a good texture and flavorful taste; the tidy was lightly fried with a nice inside of tofu. The tofu could have been a tad bit hotter and the portions could have been a bit bigger, but otherwise very good. Altogether, I enjoyed my meal and Typhoon. The ambiance is nice and the food is spectacular. Our large party made the wait a bit long, but otherwise very good. Would recommend!
