He was the most friendliest, nicest person I've ever came across, eating out anywhere, and I've ate out many of places lol, the food was great as always, and the staff here is always kind, but this young man defiantly deserves a raise. It's a shame to see this place go to waste because of their staff. Every time I go there for take out, dude at the register is as high as a kite. I'm not one to complain about that, I support medicating, but if you can't do your job effectively while under the influence, maybe wait until after your shift? This place was consistently good to eat at, but now I have to triple check my bag before I go. Never order from a food delivery service if you want to eat here. They have consistently messed up my order 6 times without failure. They always forget entire items and do not consider any special requests. I've always given them another chance just because I love the food, but I'm over it now. Will def not be ordering again. Yelling at your employee in front of the customers (employee received a call asking about the hours) because he didn't know the store hours is a turn off and makes for an un-enjoyable meal experience. If I could give them a zero, I would. I've eaten here numerous times, and I'm not going to lie: the food is tasty (though overpriced). However, I feel compelled to share about the horrible experience on my last visit, only because things won't change unless people start complaining. My daughter had just gotten out of practice from her school and we were both hungry. When we entered the store, it was busy and understaffed. Cook said orders would be about 20 minutes. I completely knew the situation and was fine with it. They were busy. Only had two high-schoolers manning the grill. One looked very stressed out. Owner went outside and got an employee to clock in early to help with the rush. As someone who worked in fast food while in college, it reminded me of how difficult it is to work in a restaurant. I took out $10 to give them a tip (my order only totaled $27, but I wanted to encourage the youngsters to keep with it, that there's nothing wrong with working hard.) So glad I didn't place it in the jar until I got my food. 30 minutes roll by. I'm the next order. Until they start calling people that came in after me! FOUR ORDERS! It wasn't like I got skipped once; I was ignored! I hate to call racism, but the other customers were White and I'm not. After the last order had been filled (45 minutes since I placed my order), I asked what happened to my order. "Oh, it's coming right up." I understood the situation when I ordered and told the manager, I accepted that. What I didn't like was being line jumped. And this is where I got upset. NO APOLOGY. NO NOTHING. All manager asked me was if I wanted ketchup for my fries! WTF!?!? I told him I would rather have an apology which he begrudgingly gave me. And here's the kicker: even before I got to my car (which was literally parked in the stall right in front of the store), the grease from the sandwiches had soaked the bottom of the paper bag and my sandwiches and fries fell on the pavement! I picked them up, returned them to the store, and asked for my money back! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I barely got a weak apology as they processed my refund. Overall a waste of an hour. Whoever was working today Monday May 29th at 5:20pm has an ugly attitude and the owners should really reconsider this girl working for them. I called to place an order for pickup and when ordering a cheesesteak, she corrects me by saying "it's called a classic by the way." I chuckled because I thought it was funny that she felt the need to correct me when she clearly knew what I was talking about. This girl starts to then mimic me by laughing the same way I did. My go-to spot for a quick delicious philly cheese steak sandwich. If you like your philly sandwiches simple with just meat and cheese this is the place. The steaks are thinly sliced and they fill the sandwich with so much meat. They are served piping hot as they make it when your order it. For toppings - mushrooms and grilled onions are the way to go they add a nice crunch and sweetness to the sandwiches. The best part is the gooey cheese topping they lay on top of the steaks. They use provolone but if you ask for Wiz they can use that instead, the Wiz is more cheesy and thicker which is more filling. The bread they use is soft and serve room temperature. They do not toast the bread which is better as it is easier to bite into. The sandwiches are consistent every time no matter what time I visit. As for sides the cheese fries are great very filling. The French fries are always hot and crispy. The only cheese they use for the cheese fries is Wiz and it pairs perfectly with it. It takes awhile for food to come out as they are made fresh to order. They have combo meals for both hot and cold sandwiches which includes either chips or side items. When ordering on peak times prepare for a 20 minute wait just for 2 sandwiches, but it is worth it. Not only does this place have awesome food, the customer service is pretty awesome too. Upon first walking in, cashier asks if it is our first time there. Since I said yes, he recommended that I order their most popular, the "Philly's Best" Cheesesteak. My buddy ended up getting it instead, and was quite pleased. I had the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak. They said it was Frank's Red Hot, but it tasted a lot milder than what I remember Frank's Red Hot sauce to be. it was still good. They have a good selection of sandwiches in both chicken and beef. Their onion rings are pretty awesome. Great Sports Bar feel. All in all a great experience. I can't think of anything they could have done better.
