Soufflés for every course, all amazing. Starters of Artichoke tart, foie gras pâte and crab with lime and avocado- all delicious and plated beautifully. Wine selection is excellent. Service ideal including personal visits with Chef Phillipe. Cozy dining room. Absolutely everything you will eat here will delight your tastebuds. A must stop for anyone in Paris.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! Small, cozy, friendly service, and the food was fabulous. The father and son duo are amazing. Sasha knocks it put of the park with his delicious soufflés. Beautiful wine list. I can't wait to go back!! The restaurant is small and packed with locals. Reservations are recommended.

Loved this charming chic French bistro! Our French waiter was attentive, and helped us order. The foies gras ravioli in creamy mushroom was superb. Vanilla soufflé was the best dessert I ever had!

Our travel companion was all about wanting to go to this Michelin star restaurant and we were along for the ride. While he opted for the multi-course with wine pairing we just went with the entree/dessert option as we were having a hard time acclimating to the crazy amount of food that people in France eat. I got the white fish while my wife got the lobster risotto. Both were amazing. The desserts, a souffle for me and sorbet for her, also amazingly delicious. Now onto the best part - the kitchen has a round window that you can see right through and watch the chef work his magic. You can also watch him continuously look out to the tables to make sure his course timing is right. Everything came out in perfect time. Take this and the extraordinary service provided, mix that with the delicious food, and it's a 5 star review from me.

Undercooked pistachio soufflé with no hint of pistachio flavor just raw egg whites

Does not even deserve 1 star One of the worst meals I have ever eaten in a restaurant and surely the worst I have ever had in Paris! This chef has lost his passion Food is precooked and served barely warm No creative presentation just tasteless food slopped on plates Portions are meager and I had an upset stomach hours after this inedible meal! Shredded cod on menu and shredded beef because chef pre Cooks these dishes Mashed potatoes were soggy mess Pistachio soufflé had no hint of pistachio flavor and was undercooked egg whites and no crust Go enjoy a good meal elsewhere because you surely won't get one at this restaurant!

Complimentary guacamole crackers. I'm not a guacamole fan, but my girlfriend loved them.

I'm no expert on French food, but from what I could tell, this was just about as incredible and authentic as you can get in a tourist trap city like Paris. I went with my girlfriend for a special occasion, and neither of us were disappointed. The atmosphere was quiet, with just one other table present. The staff was beyond courteous and spoke near perfect English for us to understand. For our appetizer we ordered the Foie Gras Ravioli. Never having had Foie Gras, I was a little skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised. Great flavor all around, but personal the texture was a bit too soft. We received endless, complementary bread with our meal, which helped lap up the rest of the app. Both of our entrees were delectable. She ordered the beef and I the smoked salmon. Both were not only cooked to perfection, but had copious amounts of great flavor. The texture was perfect, the appearance was perfect, everything was perfect. As for dessert, both exploded with flavor. My chocolate bar with raspberry sauce and some kind of peppers was soft and smooth. My girlfriend's vanilla mouse was smooth and creamy, while the raspberry mouse was bursting with flavor. To top it off we got complementary slices of pecan pie. They were tiny, but delicious. In the end, along with a glass of wine, water, and a cup of coffee, it came to just under 100 Euros, which was well worth it. I would certainly come back again, with everything on the menu seeming delicious. 5 stars, no problem. Come here and you will not be disappointed.

Foie gras appetizer which was the special of the day (24 Euros). Delicious!

A truly fantastic neighborhood restaurant located near the Eiffel Tower! My family dines at restaurant every time we return to Paris. Last night our dinner was no exception - the service was warm and welcoming, the food exceptional and the setting beautiful. The 3-course menu is a bit more expensive than others in the area (3 courses for 45 Euros), but it is well worth it. I ordered the tomato souffle as my appetizer which was delicious! The souffle was very light, yet tasty, and had a wonderful texture. For my main course, I had the duck tenderloin with noodles (crispy noodles, see picture) which was also wonderful. I have a caramel souffle for dessert which was divine - and this is Chef Excoffier's signature. Lastly, the staff are outstanding! Definitely make a reservation and head to Philippe Excoffier!

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

This place was a huge letdown. They had a cute little artisanal market on the front left of the…read morerestaurant. They had a number of goods to choose from and I ended up buying a few things for souvenirs. As for the actual restaurant, they had a number of delicious sounding items on their menu. Our server was very attentive to us and helped us decide on our dinner orders. Similar to the other restaurants though. After our food was delivered, it was far in between when we were checked on again. And after dessert it took even longer for our server to bring the bill. Overall, the food was a letdown. I do not exaggerate when I say that the frog legs just tasted like slightly flavored water. My friend's ravioli had a fairly decent flavored sauce but the pasta was a bit chewy. My friend's duck breast was pretty tough; I had noticed the table next to us also ordered it and they seemed to have trouble finishing/cutting theirs as well. As for my steak with foie gras, well the steak was once again tough and the foie gras was weirdly stringy. It was soft for the most part but there were parts that were tough and stringy. Maybe that's a section that's generally separated in the preparation process and it was missed? In any case it was disappointing. What wasn't disappointing was dessert though; perfectly sweet and balanced.
