    Lamb shoulder

American tourists visiting Montmartre. We looked on Yelp and saw the pictures of the menu. Those pictures are old! The menu has changed and the prices are higher now, so check their website. It seems to have transitioned from a mid-priced restaurant to higher end. We did not have reservations but the two of us were able to be seated. We ordered the duck breast salad and the lamb shoulder. The salad was small but good, and the lamb was delicious. The restaurant has an intimate vibe and there were many couples and groups. It was a small operation with two waiters and maybe a handful of people in the kitchen. After our food we had to wait at least 30 minutes to get our check. As Americans, we know that service can be more casual in France so we waited patiently, and then started glancing or making small gestures to the waiter. Another couple was turned away while we were waiting to get our check and leave. We would have waited longer but we finally got the waiter's attention and were able to pay. Overall the food was great, although on the pricier end (so check their website). The wait was frustrating, which knocked a star off the review. I felt it was understaffed for the price level. A good place to visit with a group if you have a lot of time to kill. Make reservations.

Awesome food! Had a reservation here for the day I got engaged and it was exactly what I had pictured in my mind. Delicious, delicate food, well-served, french to the cord and with great wine options. Location, prices, service was also on spot!

    The excellent wine we enjoyed.

It is a small restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. The waiter/owner are the one greeting you welcome. In the back of the restaurant, the chef is producing some of the best food I have ever tasted. The menus consists roughly of 8 entrees, 8 main courses, and 8 desserts. Most of them classic French dishes but also new modern dishes such as a soft boiled egg infused with Foie gras. Service and food is EXCELLENT! Top of the moon. This is indeed a hidden treasure...

Lived up to prior reviews. Owner sat us outside when he already had a full house. Turned on the heaters and treated us so very kind. My first night in Paris and this restaurant provided the perfect environment to relax and enjoy life. Don't worry. This is the place.

This place was my favorite out of all the restaurants I went to the week I was here in Paris, the ravioli was so good I wanted to order more but wanted to save room for the main course and dessert. I was not disappointed! Everything was super yummy! The waiter was super attentive, it's such a cute place, I would recommend it 100%.

The owner is really friendly. If you are looking for a nice place to eat some traditional French food do not look further. Some and cosy great for a couple to enjoy a nice meal in Paris. The price are reasonable and with 50 for two you can get a tasteful day. We had to wait two minutes and it is advanced to call before so you know if there is space or not. The selection of wine is small. However, they are local and appropriate for the deshes. The red wine is delicate and white one is refreshing. We had a meat dish and a fish dish. The fish was excellent and the meat one was nicely blended. Defenetly raccomanding this place for some good french culture

Mille-feuille of prosciutto and mozzarella, onion soup, pork fillet with caramelized apples, thick cut steak.

An excellent meal! The owner was so gracious and helpful with the menu, and the food was spectacular! We had the Mille-feuille of prosciutto and mozzarella, onion soup, fried goat cheese salad, pork fillet with caramelized apples, thick cut steak. Everything was delicious and a modern twist on classic French food.

    Raspberry tiramisu. Omg so good.

These smaller bistro type eateries are the lifeblood of the local cuisine. They consistently offer reasonably priced dishes that are full of flavor and technique. The wine and drink options are well catered to the menu and they provide options for most price points. The service we experienced was exactly what you want... our server had plenty of suggestions based on the offerings of the day. The service was attentive and responsive... not much more than you could ask for. I had the duck breast being offered... it was served alongside crispy potatoes, green beans, and a salad. Adding in the onion soup and a glass of wine... it quickly became a King's dinner at a very reasonable price. I would be more than happy to eat here again and look forward to exploring the rest of the menu offering many local and classic French options.

Like others have said, it's super small inside, so you'll get to know your neighbors really well. But your attention will be more focused on the food they bring out. I had the lamb with thyme sauce and my wife had the confit duck leg. Don't be afraid to pick the sauce of the day over the regular honey sauce. The sauce of the day on the day we went was a blackberry sauce which was crazy good. With a bottle of wine at 24 euros and both entrees under 20 euros, you couldn't really beat a meal of that quality in many places around Paris for that price. It was only after I ate at Le Potager did I see it had a bunch of great reviews on Yelp. It's definitely earned all those stars.

Making a reservation isn't hard but you do need to email them and there's no online booking system. You also have to confirm again 1-2 days before. I understand they are small with a limited number of tables so that's fair and it seemed like everyone showed up even though they don't require a deposit. On a Friday night, it didn't appear there was much chance or walking in although there were like 2 open seats at what would have been a shared table. The menu is small and includes some typical French starters, steaks, 3 non steak entrees, cheeses, and dessert. All steaks come with potatoes, 3 sauces, salad. Service was a highlight. The waiter was personable and funny, had solid recommendations, and made sure leftovers were taken home. Also had a solid wine recommendation after asking some questions. They probably get a lot of people who don't speak French and they had no problem speaking English. The food- ordered a ribeye medium rare. The steak was so so charred on the outside and it almost ruined the whole thing. I really wish they would have charred it way less especially when it was ordered medium rare. There is seared and then there is burnt; this was sadly the latter. The steak itself was fine, honestly nowhere near the best meat I have had but the price is quite reasonable for how much you get. I would say the steak was maybe 6/10 for me, largely due to the cooking. The fries were phenomenal. Definitely a highlight and really tasty and with a great texture. Salad was good, pretty typical. I wanted to like the sauces more but found them just okay. The best by far for me was the blue cheese sauce but even this one I thought the flavors could have popped a little more. Atmosphere was fun, there were a few bigger groups (6-8 which is the biggest they accommodate) but it never got unreasonably loud. Overall I wanted to love it but was a bit disappointed even though the service and fries were both great.

It's a tiny restaurant, so if you're a party of two, you might share a table with others, but they have spacers so you don't feel like you're eating together. Reservations were easy to make. You email in your requested sitting and someone will get back to you shortly. We were able to get in a little ahead of schedule and start the adventure. Wines were reasonably priced and they had a good variety of cocktails. We hadn't had French onion soup on our trip, so we ordered it as an appetizer. Sometimes it can get a little salty, but these were very well blended. Sacree Fleur seems to be known for their steak and frites, so we ordered the steak for two. Steak comes out on a sizzling platter. You can turn the pieces over to keep cooking until your preferred temperature. It was quite succulent and the fries were well prepared. There are two dipping sauces and some salt to season your meal. We hadn't a great time and way too much food :)

We were so looking forward to the frog legs, onion soup and other delicacies pictured. We got there and the sign was just as it was with the same name -- Au Pied du Sacre Coeur. We should've noticed something was wrong when no one was inside. When the waiter (lone person working along with cook) gave us the menu, my wife and I stared at each other completely confused. The menu looked nothing like the ones on this website and featured Italian food items, like spaghetti, arroz con pollo or mozarella. I asked him about frog legs or the onion soup. He looked confused and just said no. Out of respect for him, we just ordered the charcuterie, which featured stale bread and a few slices of meat taken from my local grocery store in the U.S. Also -- they claimed to not accept any international credit cards. WHAT HAPPENED? Are all these reviews fake? Most likely, they underwent new ownership right when we visited. But new visitors -- please beware. Do not trust any of the reviews before mine. But he was friendly ( oh, and easy on the eyes). I liked the quiet location out of the chaotic fray, like up the street, with all its smoking and volume. PS This is lover's type of location.
