Tinctures for the nervous system, mocktails for gut health, cilantro paired w coconut chutney, & wine pairings w the season's harvest, Pharm Table is here to have you coming back for more! This gluten-free, dairy-free, farm-to-table haven introduces wellness to indulgences. I had the Sichuan beans & squash under shareables. This rustic, flavorful dish had some light heat from the sichuan oil. I tried some of my friend's You Are My Dumpling; lentil spring herb rice paper, laying in cashew labneh & mala oil. The cashew labneh was yummy, but dumpling was chewier than I'd anticipated, w filling packed more spice than I'd want. To clank our glasses, I started w Hindi 75--holy basil kombucha, ashwagandha, cherry brandy, Cherry Heering, & lemon juice. This concoction had the right amount of tart & rather astringent. Next came a zero-waste black salt-rimmed margarita bursting w citrus. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Add in an excellent happy hour (5-6 p.m.), easy online reservations, attentive service, & an atmosphere both sophisticated & welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I finally made it to Happy Hour at Pharm Table and was determined not to miss the opportunity again. We indulged in a Hindi 75, Seoul Margarita, Sichuan Squash and Green Beans, Desert Rose, and You Are My Dumpling - and the best part was that everything was half off. What a deal! The food and drinks were excellent, and the overall experience made for a fantastic evening. The service was outstanding, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is immaculate, with a serene, zen-inspired ambiance, beautiful lighting, and a thoughtfully designed space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would definitely return and highly recommend checking out their Happy Hour.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved this experience. It's a very calm and earthy vibe. They have plants every where including shelf herbs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only complaint is how long it took to get served. We were seated right away but it was about 15 mins before someone came to our table to greet us and provide water. Once we ordered the waiter was very attentive. She provided us a palette cleanser (the spoons) which tasted like a lemon spice. It was really nice but had a kick at the end. We also ordered the probiotic appetizer which was gut healthy fermented veg. I wasn't a big fan of it, but my friend loved it. We also ordered the cilantro coconut guacamole and corn tortillas. This was very interesting! I've never had fruit in my guacamole. I loved it. And the corn tortillas were fresh and homemade. Next, I ordered a saffron date golden milk. They offer this hot or chilled. I got the chilled version. This is to die for if I could drink this every day I would. It is very comforting and as you drinking it, you get this like warmth all over. The spices are very balanced and it comes with oat milk so it's creamy. For the meal I order the akaushi beef tacos. Which was Barbacoa over a cashew cream trust with fermented, cabbage, and cilantro. It also comes with a side of salsa. These tacos were very filling and delicious. The flavors pair up so well. I did add some of the gauc to it for a more creamer taste. Overall, the food experience was a 10 out of 10. I am gluten-free and the whole restaurant is 100% gluten-free! They have vegetarian options and from what I could see also dairy free. If you're trying to expand your taste buds, this is definitely a place to try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only thing I didn't like was the chairs lol the edge of it was so uncomfortable because it was putting pressure into my legs my friend said the same thing with her chair[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Ken with Offline - Before we talk about the food. Let's talk about Luke our server. He bleeds Pharm Table and the concept. You can't teach that! 18 year downtown resident and he rushes to the top as one of the top servers! Now the food. Cin is a 40 year vegetarian and I took one for the team. Or did I? OMG amazing, the flavors.... Not often, I wake up the next day still thinking about the meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Way cool vibe inside, and quite.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thx for the great meal, and thx Luke not for the good customer service... But the memory.

Pharm Table - A Truly Refreshing Dining Experience in Downtown San Antonio If you're looking for a spot in San Antonio that caters to vegan, keto, dairy-free, and gluten-free lifestyles without sacrificing flavor, creativity, or atmosphere, Pharm Table is a true standout. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is classy with a romantic, relaxed vibe--perfect for date night or anyone wanting to enjoy gourmet, seasonal food at its finest.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service here is truly top-notch. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely excited about the menu. If you're new to the restaurant, they take the time to explain the dishes, ingredients, and cooking style, which makes the whole experience feel even more special. The food? Exceptional. Everything is farm-to-table, crafted with what's in season, and elevated with simple, clean flavors that taste incredibly gourmet. The Wagyu was perfectly cooked and seasoned--one of the best we've had. The salmon ceviche was another favorite: fresh salmon layered over thin slices of avocado, cucumber, and radish with a touch of mashed sweet potato. Light, refreshing, and beautifully balanced. For drinks, I loved the Cortisol Cocktail (mocktail). It's bright, citrusy, slightly sweet, and so refreshing--it's a must-try. My daughter ordered the chai latte, and it was an explosion of comforting flavor, smooth and easy on the palate. Portions are very reasonable and easy to share. And you cannot leave without dessert--the almond apple shortcake was outstanding. [[HIGHLIGHT]]With both indoor and outdoor seating, plus a bar, Pharm Table is the perfect spot in downtown San Antonio for a date night or a night out enjoying seasonal gourmet cooking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend!

What an awesome treat. My sister brought me here a she knows the owner. Service.. from the moment we walked into this restaurant, they make you feel like a family. The food here is medicine. I ordered a wellness highball..nope all non-alcoholic..ginger, tumeric, beet juice ( this was my choice) and sparkling water. Super refreshing perfect for hot day. For lunch..well brunch..I ordered their Farm-to-table tacos with akaushi beef. Came with mesquite corn tortillas, shredded beets, and I think it had micro-cilantro. They switch the sauce due to my allergies for roasted tomato salsa. I could have eaten a bowl of that salsa. It was like gazpacho. So so good. Overall, it's was so much better than expected. If you have allergies to nuts, just be careful. Many entrees contain cashews..but ok..they can accomodate.

Was craving a healthier dinner option and came across Pharm Table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's quite a bit of outdoor seating but I chose to dine inside. The inside has wellness den vibes with a wall of open shelving displaying jars of herbal ingredients.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was serendipitous that I arrived during happy hour cuz it's a really good deal! All the starters and drinks are half off. I got the Kombucha Collagen Cooler, Peruvian Ceviche, Roasted Red Cabbage, and Masala Chaat. Honestly, the portions were bigger than I expected for the price. I love that they give you a spoonful of fancy ginger juice before your meal to kick start your appetite. The food and drinks were flavorful and you don't miss the dairy at all. Service was friendly and attentive. Great spot if you're craving healthier fare and wellness drinks!

    Avocado mousse, to go

Wow, wow, wow! Pharm Table is fantastic. The menu is stacked with creative and tasty dishes. I grabbed a seat at the bar on a Sunday evening and was well cared for by the friendly staff. They were helpful in describing the different dishes and making recommendations for how much to order. Sounds like the menu changes frequently, but if you get there soon (and you should!), I highly recommend the Summer Harvest Salad and Tandoori Sweet Potato. Both dishes were beautifully plated, full of colors, flavors, and textures that worked great together. I ordered desert to go- avocado chocolate mousse with preserved plums and puffed rice- creamy and delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and seasonal. The meal was filling, but in a healthy feeling way. Oh, how I wish there were a place like this in my hometown. Highly recommend!!

The atmosphere was top notch. Very good spot to on a date or just to hang with friends. Food was great too. Very clean 9/10 sponges

The zucchini was the only thing that was not salty.

I was very disappointed with my experience at Pharm Table and will not be returning. I ordered the $48 wagyu akaushi short rib, and the dish was absolutely disgusting. Other than the zucchini everything on the plate was buried under a dark, overly salty gravy or sauce. The spring roots and roasted cabbage were practically unrecognizable because they were completely covered, and even the butternut squash puree was drowned in the same heavy salty sauce. The short ribs themselves were burnt, crispy in all the wrong ways, and extremely greasy. The overwhelming saltiness made the entire meal unpleasant and difficult to enjoy. The service was not much better. Our waiter seemed disorganized, distracted, and all over the place throughout the meal. Customer service was lacking from start to finish. To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, we were told they could not accept cash because they supposedly did not have access to the safe. It felt like just another way to force customers to use credit cards. If a restaurant does not accept cash, that policy should be clearly communicated before customers are seated, not after they have finished their meal. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing dining experience. Poor food, poor service, and inconvenient payment policies. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant.

This was a pretty awesome experience. From the moment we were seated the service was on point, very friendly and informative. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor and ambiance almost made me forget I was in San Antonio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The drinks and the food were absolutely delicious. We are gluten free (GF) and it was refreshing to eat at a dairy and GF restaurant. This is a must try even if you don't have food restrictions. Every dish is so well thought out and if you know anything about Ayurvedic cuisine this is the place to go. I hope everyone tries this place at least once. Can't wait to go back!!

Pharm Table is on another level of culinary that only a few restaurants in San Antonio are able to capture. Cultivating rich flavors with healthy & ethically sourced produce & meats, you truly get to appreciate the quality and effort that goes into the bites you take during your meal! The wait staff is incredibly thoughtful & makes an effort to explain their mission & unique ingredients! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I believe it's is such a warm & friendly place to have an elevated dinner![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Consider it for your next night out & I think you won't be disappointed!!

Pharm Table is intentional dining done right!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is calm, earthy, and thoughtfully curated--from the garden-like outdoor space to the ingredient jars lining the walls. Everything feels purposeful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The small bites were beautifully plated with clean, layered flavors--light yet satisfying. The entrée was perfectly cooked, paired with vibrant vegetables and a silky, well-balanced sauce that let the ingredients shine. The cocktail was refreshing and herb-forward, not overly sweet, and clearly crafted with the same care as the food. Service was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without hovering. If you're looking for a health-conscious restaurant that still feels elevated and indulgent, Pharm Table delivers.

The restaurant lighting was dimmed and gave a more intimate /bar environment. I think the ac was broken here because it was very warm and they had fans going on around the room. I think this place would be good for someone who is prefers an American fusion cuisine that leans heavily on the western style dishes. On that occasion, the…read morevenue was exceptionally busy, and the sole bartender on duty informed us he was covering for an absent colleague. Despite the staff shortage, we placed a significant order for at least ten drinks. My husband had made a reservation for 6:00 PM. However, at approximately 7:30 PM, after we had already placed our drink order, a staff member informed my husband that our table reservation was only valid for two hours. Concerned about the impending two-hour limit and the delay in receiving our drinks, which had still not arrived by 7:45 PM, we inquired with our bartender about potentially canceling our order. He reassured us, stating that other tables were available should additional patrons arrive. Our subsequent visit, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, was solely with my husband. We arrived punctually, approximately five minutes before our 7:30 PM reservation. A female bartender directed us to a small, two-person table, despite the presence of two larger, seemingly more comfortable, unoccupied tables nearby. While initially assuming these larger tables might be reserved for a bigger party, the selection felt somewhat restrictive given the availability. Our seating unfortunately placed us adjacent to another patron who was using an additional chair to prop up her footwear, which contributed to an unpleasant atmosphere. The bartender then approached our table and asked if it was our first time, to which we replied it was not. She then asked if we knew what we wanted to order. We requested a brief moment to review the menu. However, we then waited for approximately fifteen minutes for her to return. Eventually, my husband had to actively call her over to place our order. Our initial drinks arrived after another ten to fifteen minutes. Subsequently, my husband attempted to catch the bartender's attention to order another round and request water. However, she was engaged in a lengthy conversation, estimated at ten minutes, with the neighboring patron and proceeded to walk past our table without acknowledging us. This extended period of being overlooked led to considerable frustration for my husband, who then felt compelled to approach the main bar directly to place our order and obtain water from a different bartender. It was only after this that the initial female bartender finally approached our table, asking if we needed anything. Considering the relatively small size of the establishment and the fact that there were only three occupied tables at the time, the level of inattentive and delayed service was particularly disappointing and, frankly, perplexing.

I had already ordered food and drinks for my party, expecting the table would be cleaned quickly. We ordered two alcoholic drinks and two soda-based drinks, but the sodas were flat. Drinks were AMAZING! Bartender Rob made the best Negroni I've ever had. I asked him to use whatever gin he thought best--result was an artistic smooooooth full-bodied drink. Told him when I was done I'd lick the glass if it wasn't considered so uncouth for a 'mature' lady like myself to do so Hubby's Buffalo Trace bourbon old fashioned was also outstanding. Rob was the bartender last night who did such a great job, and his work was even better tonight. We highly recommend The EsquireTavern for excellent cocktails. We love the long wood bar and high copper ceiling upstairs, but love the intimate speakeasy atmosphere downstairs even more. We'll definitely be back every time we're in San Antonio! First review, Friday night: Drinks were great (Manhattan and Bourbon Old Fashioned). REAL drinks, no complaints at all about those. And the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Those aspects of the Esquire get 5+ stars from us. But the appetizers were not good, close to inedible. It was about 8:30pm or so, so maybe they were getting ready to close out the kitchen but the chalupitas with chicken tasted like rubber, and no flavor at all. The seafood platter had something in it that was breading with shell inside, but no meat of any kind. We couldn't figure out what it was supposed to be. The shrimp was good and the fish was good but those other things... We'll always love the drinks, the long wooden bar, and the ambiance at the Esquire Tavern, but we'll eat somewhere else and come here for before or after dinner drinks.
