First experience last night was outstanding. Service, ambience, and food were all 5 stars. We were initially disappointed they were out of hummus, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Our server, Tiffany, suggested the chaat, which didn't appear to be something we would order. Even the kids were fighting both of us for the last bite. The drinks were outstanding as well. My wife got the wellness flight and raved about it. For dinner, all four of us ordered the short rib. Each of us cleaned our plate. Everything paired so well together. For dessert, we got the ice cream sandwich. Sounds boring... but again we were fighting over the final bite. It was truly exceptional despite being gluten free. The chocolate cookies were almost a slightly spicy smoke flavor. Hard to describe, but I highly recommend it. While we were out, my party was craving something healthy. I was a little hesitant to suggest it at first, but it ended up being the perfect choice, and that's how we found ourselves at Pharm Table. The front patio outside is absolutely stunning at night. Zen, candles, with softly dimmed lights and a calming blue glow. We asked for a table for two indoors since it was a chilly night. We arrived about twelve minutes before closing, yet they still accommodated us. We ended up having an incredible experience. The food was phenomenal. One of the best quality food and drink restaurants I have ever experienced - and I've been a lot of places. Meredith was so knowledgeable about the menu, and I really enjoyed her mocktail recommendation. We enjoyed a few healthy drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, dessert, and a golden latte to finish it off, and I didn't feel bloated or tired afterwards. The portions were good, the food and drinks were tasty, and the service was exceptional. To top it off, the ambience was so relaxing. We sat outside under the vines and lights. (Thus not only saving $ for the kitchen not needing to purchase those ingredients it's BETTER quality for them and the customers, while ensuring the commitment to customer diets as well as passing on the savings to the customer) ! We savored these items and more: Probiotic Plate, spice route Beets, Short rib Wagyu Akashi, Chicken& waffles, cookie sandwich, citrus sumac strawberry shortcake, mesquite latte and a cider. I'm convinced they aren't capable of making mediocre fare! If you love your body or someone else's, go quickly and often. We found the ambiance pleasant and intriguing and restrooms were clean and well stocked. The Pharm Table made such a fantastic and lasting impression that we came back the same day . Our bodies felt so good after partaking there along with it being a complete joy to indulge in, we couldn't wait even 24 hours to do it again!!! lol I would GLADLY be a member of her staff if she would have me . For lunch..well brunch..I ordered their Farm-to-table tacos with akaushi beef. Came with mesquite corn tortillas, shredded beets, and I think it had micro-cilantro. The inside has wellness den vibes with a wall of open shelving displaying jars of herbal ingredients. It was serendipitous that I arrived during happy hour cuz it's a really good deal! All the starters and drinks are half off. I got the Kombucha Collagen Cooler, Peruvian Ceviche, Roasted Red Cabbage, and Masala Chaat. Honestly, the portions were bigger than I expected for the price. I love that they give you a spoonful of fancy ginger juice before your meal to kick start your appetite. Sounds like the menu changes frequently, but if you get there soon (and you should!), I highly recommend the Summer Harvest Salad and Tandoori Sweet Potato. My wife and I tried their tasting menu last night which is actually a pretty good deal compared to most restaurants that have them. They change their menu up but last nights had an Indian flare to it with Dosa and curry. They also have a menu for individual items to order which we have done previously for lunch and was very tasty as well. Staff were all very friendly and able to give good recommendations if you have any questions about the menu. Sorely disappointing on return. Ever since I came here 4 years ago, I've been wanting to come back and I was shocked by the price jumps. Their menu changed and I was excited to see some non-vegetarian options. I got the Peruvian ceviche (I love traditional Peruvian ceviche with sweet potato, corn nuts, raw onion, choclo corn) with salmon for $21 and was shocked at the small portion of salmon. The flavor was okay, nothing special and not too reminiscent of Peruvian ceviche beyond the splash of sweet potato on the side. I love the location it is very well maintained and clean. On 9/21/25 I placed an online order. My husband and I were just driving to Florida from west Texas and took a little detour to come to this place. They open at 10, I placed an online order for pick up at 10:45. When I was driving out there I received a call because the milk I requested for my Mesquite iced lattes was unavailable. I told the gal it was fine to make me one oat and one almond milk. Then I got a call that they were out of almond so we settled for both oat. And I told her o would be right in since it was 10:47. My husband was pulling a trailer so he just drove around and did not attempt to park while I ran in. My order was not ready. I saw the gal working behind the bar counter and she confirmed my order then proceeded to steam oat milk. I asked if that was mine and told her I ordered iced. She took the already steamed oat milk, poured it over ice, shook it then poured into an iced cup. And made the second drink with the regular un steamed oat milk. This is NOT ok, steaming milk then pouring over ice is not only sloppy, it dilutes the drink causes inconsistent quality and more importantly it's a food safety risk, and can promote bacterial growth. They place the drinks (the steamed one with a fraction of ice). And tell me my order was ready I had to remind them I also ordered two cookies. I did bring it up to a staff member who did offer to re make the drink. But at this point I had been there 15-20minutes and decided to leave since we were on a time crunch. The mesquite cookies were really good and one of the drinks was good, we ended up tossing g the watered down one. I gave three stars because the previous 4times the food and service were good. Maybe don't order on line? Or don't order first thing when they open? But then again two iced lattes and two previous baked cookies should be easy and take maybe 5min to put together. read more

I was in San Antonio supporting my good friend for her first half marathon. I wanted to make sure she refueled after her hard work. And as a vegan, Pharm Table was perfect! We made reservations for 4 around 4:30. When we arrived we were greeted promptly and sat outside on the beautiful patio. The hostess was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable; giving us a break down of the menu and what to expect. Within minutes, our waiter arrived. He was friendly and offered suggestions on entrees. We started with a carafe of bubbly for mimosas for 3 of us and a juice flight for the runner. For entrees, the absolute star of the show was the Tacu Tacu add short rib. When I say tender and flavorful.. please believe it! The chicken and waffles was a unique twist with a grilled chicken thigh. The thigh was juicy and flavorful. The waffle, while I appreciated the depth from the whole grains, it was almost too dense. Unfortunately, it wasn't a favorite of the table. My partner and I had the Valentine's Day tasting menu yesterday. It was extraordinary! I've always thought people were kind of "laying it on thick" when they describe having emotional reactions to food. But my whole body responded to this food. (I honestly started crying when I ate one of these dishes). I've only ever responded to music or film like that -- never a meal. Yesterday changed my perspective on that. After seeing the name prominently posted on the front, I knew I had to try it myself. Upon walking in I grabbed a seat at the bar and took a peek at a menu. They offer a variety of healthy, chef curated options that put a creative spin on traditional dishes spanning the globe. The menus also change on a weekly basis. There are also a multitude of beverage options, including wine, beer, cider, pressed juice, coffee, and healthy infusions! After reviewing the menu options, I decided to go with a several small sampler plates. The first one consisted of two crispy veggie based chips topped with a savory item. The other one was a blend of several vegetables infused with herbs. The third plate comprised a seasoned hummus topped with a mild paste. The fourth selection was composed of injera - an Ethiopian staple made from ground teff flour - while the fifth option was a greens blend. Each of the sampler plates were fantastic, light yet filling, and quite flavorful! The unique blend of whole grains and vegetables created a synchronized flavor profile conducive for energy and digestion. I didn't feel bogged down or tired, which is so often the case at many restaurants given the liberal use of oil, butter, and salt. It might feel like a hot take, but I'm fairly convinced Pharm Table is one of San Antonio's most unique and healthy establishments. It's been a part of the city's restaurant fabric for the last decade, showcasing items that are mostly organic, non-gluten, and dairy free. Whether you're a vegan, vegetarian, or simply someone who is environmentally conscious over sustainably sourced foods, this is a place worth checking out. The decor is lovely, clean, and a lot more spacious than it looks from the outside. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating with the kind of ambiance that feels date appropriate and definitely group friendly. I have no qualms with the staff; the servers here are professional and friendly. My initial impression was that they served only vegan / vegetarian friendly items, but I realized that meat is also part of their menu. As noted from their end, the "meat are regenerative and sustainably raised animal proteins." They prepare all of their food with a globally inspired approach, while trying to reduce their carbon footprint and highlight local and seasonal produce. Most everything I've had here was very tasty despite the portions being very paltry. The Peruvian ceviche with smoked salmon ($16) was tasty and had a hint of sweet potato in it, which was a surprise. The Brazilian moqueca soup ($12) didn't remind me much of the real thing, but I was appreciative of them having it at all. The green bexar farms salad ($12) was light, but tasted very fresh and the probiotic board ($8) reminded me of a veggie charcuterie board.The smoky charred beets ($10) had a nice green cashew tahini with za'atar, which was a nice combination. The amuse-bouche of the evening is a ginger meal starter, which I most definitely enjoyed. The masala mushroom ($26) and kabocha pumpkin ($26) were straight misses for me, but I really liked the braised short rib ($34), especially with the roasted roots and sweet potato puree. The Panang fish curry ($26) was tasty and I really wish there was more of it. I also think the roasted chicken ($32) deserves a look, but just know it's only *half* of the chicken. If it wasn't obviously already, the food is extremely pricey. I do think the best route is order as many small plate appetizers and attempt to share them, even if the portion is lacking. Other things to know: card splitting is limited to two cards on the bill, 20% auto-gratuity is for guests, and parking is only free for up to 90 minutes. It's 4 stars for me. read more

The inside was dim and welcoming with an atmosphere I'd describe as rustic. We were the only ones in the restaurant so there was plenty of seats, but it did fill up as the night went on so I'd recommend reservations. Perfect for a date night or a small, intimate get-together. Our waitress was a sweetheart! Top notch service and was very attentive throughout our dinner. She started us off with a complimentary amuse-bouche to cleanse our palate. Strong citrus and ginger flavor was right up our alley so we had high hopes for the rest of our meal. We had both the raw and baked oysters and both were phenomenal. The raspberry mignonette really elevated the freshness of the raw oysters, bringing in a harmony of sweet and briney. The Rockefeller with the cashew sauce and lemon was savory with good texture. The Peruvian ceviche featured watermelon radish, sesame oil, and a swipe of sweet potato puree that added a nice sweetness against the fatty salmon, which balanced well with the overall acidity of the dish. The lion's mane lomo saltado was cooked to resemble meat. The flavor was very well balanced with the tamari and the potato and collard greens provided a good crunch. The sauce of the panang fish curry was creamy with a small kick. There were coconut flakes on top, which added another layer of flavor. I do wish there were more vegetables for a crunch, but overall really enjoyed this dish. Satisfied with our entrees, we had to try dessert and went with the sweet potato brownie with mesquite bean sorbet. This one was a nice surprise. The sweet potato hits on the first bite, but melts beautifully once it settles in your mouth. It paired well with the earthy, nutty, vanilla tones of mesquite bean. Highly recommend! And because we still had to drive back to Austin, we had their mesquite bean coffee and I will say it was one of the top five coffees I've ever had! Similar to the sorbet, it was nutty and earthy with hints of vanilla and chocolate in oat milk. Not too sweet, not too rich, very creamy. So good! This restaurant specializes in meals that promote gut health so I appreciate how well thought out their menu was. There is a paid parking lot, but they validate for a free 90 mins. It was my mother's first visit here, and it couldn't have gone better--an absolute success! She adored her meal, and I did too. We were warmly welcomed by Nate, our genuine and attentive waiter, who is improving his Spanish skills. This added a special touch for my mom, as she had some questions in Spanish. Nate was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and showed great enthusiasm for supporting local produce. The price? Absolutely worth it. The atmosphere here is truly refreshing and uplifting! I'll definitely be returning for dinner soon. Brunch this morning was both healthy and satisfyingly filling. If you haven't tried this spot yet, you're missing out!
