While we were out, my party was craving something healthy. I was a little hesitant to suggest it at first, but it ended up being the perfect choice, and that's how we found ourselves at Pharm Table. The front patio outside is absolutely stunning at night. Zen, candles, with softly dimmed lights and a calming blue glow. We asked for a table for two indoors since it was a chilly night. We arrived about twelve minutes before closing, yet they still accommodated us. We ended up having an incredible experience. The food was phenomenal. By the end of the night, we were already talking about coming back again, this time a little earlier so we could enjoy even more of the atmosphere.

Chef Elizabeth Johnson Passionate, Creative, Dedicated & Considerate While on vacation it was no easy task finding a restaurant to deliver the dietary restrictions my boyfriend has been on for over 2 months now. We both love cooking and baking and of course enjoy partaking in it. We have had " healthy food" at restaurants before, but rarely worth recommending. The Pharm Table Apothecary Kitchen, the search is over, it's a culinary dream come true. The Unicorn of palate pleasing possibilities exists ! (Food both good for you AND good to eat) . Chef Elizabeth and her team proves food and drink are medicine to the body and anything but boring. Both were prepared with commitment to local, unique & quality ingredients that tantalized our taste buds!!! Wanting to address my boyfriend's dietary needs our kind waitress involved Chef Elizabeth . She rapidly deduced which diet he was on and immediately recommended all the possibilities he could have and even graciously offered to substitute certain things to make it even more accommodating for him. Amazingly, many options to choose from on his restricted elimination diet ! The tea and coffee menu alone was ultra intriguing, along with the other beverages they make and serve proved a fun yet difficult decision . They also provided helpful drink pairings with their menu options. Very helpful for those needing guesswork out of the equation. Pharm Table is an artfully enjoyable and well executed dinning experience; from the discerning service to the delightful, sumptuous & creative dining encounter. The staff and Chef were happy to serve and eager to make our visit pleasurable. I have dined at many restaurants across the country including " fine dining, casual , & healthy fare". With a good cook or chef it's not difficult to have a tasty outcome with quality ingredients. However, the commitment to specialized diets, gluten free, diabetic, vegetarian and vegan as well as keto and offer many options and have them TASTE OUTSTANDING and questioning how can this be so good for me when it tastes so incredible is a passionate skill! We were astounded to learn of how she capitalized on being a good steward of her precious local ingredients . Demonstrating going above and beyond, Chef Elizabeth Johnson requires they maximize a 2nd life of her produce by repurposing prior to composting them; using the skins, ends, peels, and leaves creating magnificent stocks, vinegars, pickling and fermenting to their desires. (Thus not only saving $ for the kitchen not needing to purchase those ingredients it's BETTER quality for them and the customers, while ensuring the commitment to customer diets as well as passing on the savings to the customer) ! We savored these items and more: Probiotic Plate, spice route Beets, Short rib Wagyu Akashi, Chicken& waffles, cookie sandwich, citrus sumac strawberry shortcake, mesquite latte and a cider. I'm convinced they aren't capable of making mediocre fare! If you love your body or someone else's, go quickly and often. We found the ambiance pleasant and intriguing and restrooms were clean and well stocked. The Pharm Table made such a fantastic and lasting impression that we came back the same day . Our bodies felt so good after partaking there along with it being a complete joy to indulge in, we couldn't wait even 24 hours to do it again!!! lol I would GLADLY be a member of her staff if she would have me . Nonetheless, I would eat there as much as possible if I lived close by. The least I can do is write a review to let everybody know that She is outstanding in her field , keen to every detail and outshining the rest. Well done Chef Elizabeth Johnson & staff I am an ecstatic fan and customer of your work ! Cheers and Blessings to you all, Jennifer Anderson

Pharm Table - A Truly Refreshing Dining Experience in Downtown San Antonio If you're looking for a spot in San Antonio that caters to vegan, keto, dairy-free, and gluten-free lifestyles without sacrificing flavor, creativity, or atmosphere, Pharm Table is a true standout. The space is classy with a romantic, relaxed vibe--perfect for date night or anyone wanting to enjoy gourmet, seasonal food at its finest. The service here is truly top-notch. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely excited about the menu. If you're new to the restaurant, they take the time to explain the dishes, ingredients, and cooking style, which makes the whole experience feel even more special. The food? Exceptional. Everything is farm-to-table, crafted with what's in season, and elevated with simple, clean flavors that taste incredibly gourmet. The Wagyu was perfectly cooked and seasoned--one of the best we've had. The salmon ceviche was another favorite: fresh salmon layered over thin slices of avocado, cucumber, and radish with a touch of mashed sweet potato. Light, refreshing, and beautifully balanced. For drinks, I loved the Cortisol Cocktail (mocktail). It's bright, citrusy, slightly sweet, and so refreshing--it's a must-try. My daughter ordered the chai latte, and it was an explosion of comforting flavor, smooth and easy on the palate. Portions are very reasonable and easy to share. And you cannot leave without dessert--the almond apple shortcake was outstanding. With both indoor and outdoor seating, plus a bar, Pharm Table is the perfect spot in downtown San Antonio for a date night or a night out enjoying seasonal gourmet cooking. Highly recommend!

What an awesome treat. My sister brought me here a she knows the owner. Service.. from the moment we walked into this restaurant, they make you feel like a family. The food here is medicine. I ordered a wellness highball..nope all non-alcoholic..ginger, tumeric, beet juice ( this was my choice) and sparkling water. Super refreshing perfect for hot day. For lunch..well brunch..I ordered their Farm-to-table tacos with akaushi beef. Came with mesquite corn tortillas, shredded beets, and I think it had micro-cilantro. They switch the sauce due to my allergies for roasted tomato salsa. I could have eaten a bowl of that salsa. It was like gazpacho. So so good. Overall, it's was so much better than expected. If you have allergies to nuts, just be careful. Many entrees contain cashews..but ok..they can accomodate.

Was craving a healthier dinner option and came across Pharm Table. There's quite a bit of outdoor seating but I chose to dine inside. The inside has wellness den vibes with a wall of open shelving displaying jars of herbal ingredients. It was serendipitous that I arrived during happy hour cuz it's a really good deal! All the starters and drinks are half off. I got the Kombucha Collagen Cooler, Peruvian Ceviche, Roasted Red Cabbage, and Masala Chaat. Honestly, the portions were bigger than I expected for the price. I love that they give you a spoonful of fancy ginger juice before your meal to kick start your appetite. The food and drinks were flavorful and you don't miss the dairy at all. Service was friendly and attentive. Great spot if you're craving healthier fare and wellness drinks!

Wow, wow, wow! Pharm Table is fantastic. The menu is stacked with creative and tasty dishes. I grabbed a seat at the bar on a Sunday evening and was well cared for by the friendly staff. They were helpful in describing the different dishes and making recommendations for how much to order. Sounds like the menu changes frequently, but if you get there soon (and you should!), I highly recommend the Summer Harvest Salad and Tandoori Sweet Potato. Both dishes were beautifully plated, full of colors, flavors, and textures that worked great together. I ordered desert to go- avocado chocolate mousse with preserved plums and puffed rice- creamy and delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and seasonal. The meal was filling, but in a healthy feeling way. Oh, how I wish there were a place like this in my hometown. Highly recommend!!

Pharm Table is on another level of culinary that only a few restaurants in San Antonio are able to capture. Cultivating rich flavors with healthy & ethically sourced produce & meats, you truly get to appreciate the quality and effort that goes into the bites you take during your meal! The wait staff is incredibly thoughtful & makes an effort to explain their mission & unique ingredients! I believe it's is such a warm & friendly place to have an elevated dinner! Consider it for your next night out & I think you won't be disappointed!!

I've only been here 5 times, the prior 4 were outstanding great food with great flavor, fresh Ingredients, great service. I was always lucky and went at the perfect time where it was not crowded. I love the location it is very well maintained and clean. On 9/21/25 I placed an online order. My husband and I were just driving to Florida from west Texas and took a little detour to come to this place. They open at 10, I placed an online order for pick up at 10:45. When I was driving out there I received a call because the milk I requested for my Mesquite iced lattes was unavailable. I told the gal it was fine to make me one oat and one almond milk. Then I got a call that they were out of almond so we settled for both oat. And I told her o would be right in since it was 10:47. My husband was pulling a trailer so he just drove around and did not attempt to park while I ran in. My order was not ready. I saw the gal working behind the bar counter and she confirmed my order then proceeded to steam oat milk. I asked if that was mine and told her I ordered iced. She took the already steamed oat milk, poured it over ice, shook it then poured into an iced cup. And made the second drink with the regular un steamed oat milk. This is NOT ok, steaming milk then pouring over ice is not only sloppy, it dilutes the drink causes inconsistent quality and more importantly it's a food safety risk, and can promote bacterial growth. They place the drinks (the steamed one with a fraction of ice). And tell me my order was ready I had to remind them I also ordered two cookies. I did bring it up to a staff member who did offer to re make the drink. But at this point I had been there 15-20minutes and decided to leave since we were on a time crunch. The mesquite cookies were really good and one of the drinks was good, we ended up tossing g the watered down one. I gave three stars because the previous 4times the food and service were good. Maybe don't order on line? Or don't order first thing when they open? But then again two iced lattes and two previous baked cookies should be easy and take maybe 5min to put together.

I was in San Antonio supporting my good friend for her first half marathon. I wanted to make sure she refueled after her hard work. And as a vegan, Pharm Table was perfect! We made reservations for 4 around 4:30. When we arrived we were greeted promptly and sat outside on the beautiful patio. The hostess was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable; giving us a break down of the menu and what to expect. Within minutes, our waiter arrived. He was friendly and offered suggestions on entrees. We started with a carafe of bubbly for mimosas for 3 of us and a juice flight for the runner. For entrees, the absolute star of the show was the Tacu Tacu add short rib. When I say tender and flavorful.. please believe it! The chicken and waffles was a unique twist with a grilled chicken thigh. The thigh was juicy and flavorful. The waffle, while I appreciated the depth from the whole grains, it was almost too dense. Unfortunately, it wasn't a favorite of the table. However, all in all, Pharm table is a solid spot and I'll definitely be back to try more items!

Quite simply the best innovative, and creative vegan and vegetarian food I've ever had! The Peruvian Quiche was the star though as were the organic wines. Somewhat pricey so only special occasions though.

Drinks were AMAZING! Bartender Rob made the best Negroni I've ever had. I asked him to use whatever gin he thought best--result was an artistic smooooooth full-bodied drink. Told him when I was done I'd lick the glass if it wasn't considered so uncouth for a 'mature' lady like myself to do so Hubby's Buffalo Trace bourbon old fashioned was also outstanding. Rob was the bartender last night who did such a great job, and his work was even better tonight. We highly recommend The EsquireTavern for excellent cocktails. We love the long wood bar and high copper ceiling upstairs, but love the intimate speakeasy atmosphere downstairs even more. We'll definitely be back every time we're in San Antonio! First review, Friday night: Drinks were great (Manhattan and Bourbon Old Fashioned). REAL drinks, no complaints at all about those. And the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. Those aspects of the Esquire get 5+ stars from us. But the appetizers were not good, close to inedible. It was about 8:30pm or so, so maybe they were getting ready to close out the kitchen but the chalupitas with chicken tasted like rubber, and no flavor at all. The seafood platter had something in it that was breading with shell inside, but no meat of any kind. We couldn't figure out what it was supposed to be. The shrimp was good and the fish was good but those other things... We'll always love the drinks, the long wooden bar, and the ambiance at the Esquire Tavern, but we'll eat somewhere else and come here for before or after dinner drinks. (See update above to this review for when we returned the next night for after dinner drinks.)
