Came here to say for a Yelp event. There were numerous dishes to try and most were gone because our table was last. So we ordered a Pho Beef and a Pho chicken. Unfortunately it wasn't very flavorful and very little meat. Most of the food I sampled was average compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. The thing I disliked the most was the restaurant looked like they had taken over a closed Ted's Hotdogs. A meal here with an appetizer,main course, beverage and tip will be over $30. Everything at Phams kitchen that we ordered was spectacular and very fresh. The meats (pork, lemongrass beef, char siu, etc.) were flavored so well and had an amazing charred flavor. Nothing was greasy or overcooked. The vegetable toppings on the vermicelli and rice dishes were so fresh and added that needed crunch. The house made rolls for the banh mi were so crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. We ended up ordering the beef lemongrass banh mi and the pork vermicelli bowl. Went for lunch and got the Bahn Mi sandwich with Char siu (BBQ pork) [$8.25] and a Passion fruit slushy with popping bubbles added. Everything was delicious and came out quickly by the staff. The passionfruit slushy was the perfect compliment for a toasty day outside. The sandwich was filling and really I loved the taste of the barbecued pork, even though my favorite type of this sandwich is just with grilled pork. I went to Pham Kitchen on a Tuesday night, and had a good dining experience. Orders are taken at the counter and your dish is brought to your table. The staff was nice and professional taking our orders. There is a water station you can help yourself to along with coffee, tea, and smoothies on their menu. I ordered the Char siu Banh Mi, and my dining mates ordered a Vermicelli bowl and a rice bowl. Everyone enjoyed their meal, it was not extraordinary but certainly good enough that we plan to return to try the Pho. When ordering we learned you can buy their plain baguette for $1. After being introduced to this restaurant at a Yelp event several months ago we returned for a great dinner. We shared a Char Sui(a sandwich) and a huge bowl of chicken Pho. The Char Sui was nicely packed with seasoned pork, veggies and some fresh jalapeños. The Pho had a lot of noodles and shredded chicken. A small plate is served on the side with some fresh jalapeños, bean sprouts and mint leaves to be added to the Pho. We were pleased by the attentive service, including a woman who might be the manager. She stopped by with more than "how are you enjoying your meal". When we mentioned our problem with the really long noodles;she explained that the Vietnamese never use forks and spoons. Chop sticks get the job done! The lemongrass beef , pork and shrimp were good but the whole dish lacked flavor. I ended up putting the hot sauce and other sauce in to add some flavor. My husband had chicken pho that was even blander. My brother had the banh mei, the roll was very good but hardly any filling. I think I got a small piece of each, maybe, mostly lettuce and rice! I got the chicken Pho . It was bland, no flavor needed Salt and pepper. I put several sauces that they had but all it did was make it hot not flavorful. The noodles were tasteless! The wife got the Vermicelli combination, didn't like it. Decided to stop in for lunch today after work, walking through the parking lot a delicious aroma of Vietnamese food being cooked hits your senses. Cute place with tables and booths for dining in, but I saw many people come and go with take out as well. I ordered the Chicken Pho . Perfect for a cold fall day. The bowl itself was bigger than my head! I tasted the broth first, so flavorful and robust. The rice noodles were delicious, and the chicken was so good. They serve bean sprouts, lime wedges, and basil on the side to add in as well. Who I'm assuming is the owner came over to our table to ask us how everything was. She explained that they use three different broths for each soup, beef, vegan and chicken with large chicken bones for flavor. You could really tell with how tasty the broth was. Upon hearing a lot of good stuff about Phams Kitchen, we decided to check it out. We ordered the food online, and the staff was extremely friendly. Our food arrived shortly. We both ordered Pho. Most people rave about the Pho, but I wasnt too fond of the pho. It tasted very buttery, it was missing the lemongrass flavor, a weak beef broth, and didn't taste very authentic. I get that many appreciate the buttery flavor, but it was too fusion-y for me. Considering how friendly the staff was and how clean the inside looked, I will definitely visit in the future and try something else. So I got a message about a new Vietnamese restaurant that opened in Cheektowaga and it came just in time for our monthly lunch out. So Phams is an expansion of the food court restaurant from Galleria Mall owned by an incredibly hard working young woman. Coming in at 4:00 am to bake the French bread for the Bahn Mi sandwiches for both locations and making fresh taro for the bubble tea are just a few of the many things that it takes to keep this restaurant busy and food yummy. I had the vegetarian Bahn Mi sandwich which was filled with fresh cilantro and crunchy pickled daikon and fried tofu on that very fresh baguette. It was perfectly seasoned without being at all oily. My friend had a perfectly cooked fried egg added to her meat Bahn Mi sandwich that she found delicious and finished happily. We shared an order of veggie Pham rolls which turned out to be the fresh wrap rolls not the deep fried ones. They came with a dipping sauce for flavoring. It was my mistake in that I didn't realize I wasn't getting the deep fried rolls which are my preference over the fresh wrapped ones. The bubble tea was delicious but had one flaw... ice. It was difficult to get to the tapioca with the ice in the way. Otherwise it was really special to have taro made fresh ground instead of made from a powder mix. The same thing happened with my friends Vietnamese jelly coffee. She had a difficult time getting to the jelly around the ice but the flavor was delicious. The restaurant itself has plenty of seating with bright light and beautiful plants. And when the weather is good there is outdoor seating as well. Next visit we will have to try the Pho but that fresh baked baguette is really hard to pass up!!! The service is outstanding and the food delicious. We've never had authentic Vietnamese until now.... WOW! The food was absolutely incredible. Ordered a lot for us three newbies to get a taste of what they had to offer. Sandwich rolls were so flakey and delicious and looked like baked on site. The sandwich was tasty. Pork rice bowl was amazing and Pho bowls were huge and packed with flavor. Everything was so fresh. My BF and I tried Pham's Kitchen Friday after seeing it while driving by earlier in the day. We looked it up online and saw it had only been open about a month. It's a more casual atmosphere with counter ordering, but that didn't bother us. Prices seemed a little high for the quantity of food, but everything was very fresh and tasty. We shared the veggie spring rolls with peanut sauce which were good. I ordered the bun with tofu, my BF ordered the bun with 5-spice chicken. Fish sauce came out on the side. I would have liked some fresh herbs on top- scallion, thai basil, cilantro, etc. Otherwise, the bowl was delicious. The owner came out to talk to us while we were eating and she confirmed that everything is made in house- including the bread. She bakes it daily. She even has equipment ordered so she can make her own tofu in-house. Everything can be made vegan, you just have to ask. For most items it's a matter of swapping tofu for the meat and maybe omitting fish sauce (if there is any). This is one of only two places in our region that offers vegetable pho that isn't made with beef or chicken broth- she simmers the vegetable broth overnight.
