I just have to share my love for this boba spot! It is always clean and the staff is helpful which making drink choices. It's hands down my favorite place to grab a drink. Every single time I visit, I'm blown away by how they whip up each drink with such amazing flavors. The bursting boba is always spot-on. I've played around with so many flavor combos, and I can't say I've ever been disappointed--well, maybe just once when my drink had a bit too much lemon for my taste and not enough raspberry, but that's really rare for them as it was a first for me! It's a beautiful little unassuming restaurant about 15 minutes away from Niagra Falls. The place was very clean and the staff was extremely sweet. We ordered the papaya salad, vermicelli combo, and the beef pho combo. The papaya salad was extremely disappointing. It wasn't quite Thai style and it wasn't quite Vietnamese style. It was a blend of the two and turned out sweet and nutty. It was misssing a lot of the elements that made papaya salad normally so satisfying and refreshing. There was no sour, no savory, and no kick at all. The vermicelli salad was not good at either. All of the meats were overcooked and lacked any flavor. The shrimp in particular was rubbery and barely paletable. The egg roll tasted like cheap Chinese restaurant eggroll. They also left the eggroll whole so I had to rip it to pieces by hand. The dressing was very mild and did not bring out any other flavors in the dish. Instead, it watered down any flavors that may have been there. A dash of strong fish sauce could have made the dish do-able, but when I asked for some, they brought out more of the weak dressing that the dish came with. The only saving grace was the pho. It wasn't top notch but the broth was a good mix of herbal and beefy and hit the spot. If you come here, just get the pho and save yourself the heartache and disappointment. My wife was so disappointed that after we left, I ordered papaya salad from Mandalay Restaurant down the road so she can get her papaya fix. To the restaurant, you guys have such a nice spot. Fall in love with your food again and bring forth some bold and authentic flavors. It's easy to get complacent when you are one of a few spots that have this type of food. Will never ever go back here. Staff kinda sucked. Server brought out the appetizers before the 6th person even got a glass of water. He also brought all of our main entrees and we were halfway done with eating before he brought out 2/3 of the drinks we ordered. He forgot the third one so we just said don't worry about it because we were already mostly done eating. We had a group of 6. They wouldn't let us split the bill individually. They said they can only do 4 checks per table. We ended up splitting the bill only 4 ways AND they still added over a 20% gratuity AFTER THE BILL WAS SPLIT UP!!! They definitely do not deserve that much of a tip. I honestly wouldn't even leave them 15% based off of my experience. First time trying Thai food. -Chicken Pad Thai 5/10. The chicken was cooked well. There's something in the Thai sauce that I don't like. It's not too terrible, I can eat it, but only like 5 bites and then I'm annoyed with the flavor. I only ate about 1/4 of my meal and I left the restaurant still starving because I didn't want to eat it anymore due to the flavor. Maybe it was the peanut sauce/flavor? Not sure. I also don't think there was any egg in my dish and I know that was supposed to be in there. The dumplings and egg roll appetizers looked good but I didn't actually try them. -Peach boba tea didn't even taste like peach. -Thai tea with tapioca balls: the tea was very chalky and they didn't have tapioca balls either, so we got it with no balls. These two drinks above are the ones that were brought out more than halfway through our meal. They forgot the third one. People kept walking in and ordering drinks to go. The staff made all of the walk in orders before even making our drinks. Maybe if they made them right away after taking our order, they would have had enough tapioca balls left for my friends drink. Had no idea there was delicious food here! I always just assumed it was mostly bubble tea, but most recently I came here and enjoyed a Pad Thai and a delicious bowl of Pho. Service was decent, there are booths available as well as tables. The first table I was sat at seemed a little to be desired in terms of cleanliness, but then was moved somewhere that felt much more comfortable. The Pho was delicious. A delicious broth flavor with all the fixins'. The Pad Thai was incredible too. Had a matcha boba for dessert and thought it was well done as well. I've been hesitant to try Boba Tea because tapioca pearls do not appeal, but when I saw this place had honey bursting boba, I had to give it a try. I ordered a lavender green tea slush with honey bursting boba because I thought the flavors would compliment each other well, and I was right. The only thing I didn't like was the "bubble" containing the honey but I don't think you're supposed to dwell on the texture like I did, and I'm pretty sure it's standard with Boba Tea. Heard there was a new bubble tea cafe in Buffalo, so I had to try it! So, I grabbed my husband and after a quick drive over the bridge we were there. When you walk in, you realize that this really isn't a cafe, but a restaurant that has a bubble tea counter in the back. All the tables and chairs are meant for dinner patrons and the only thing you can order off the menu is the bubble tea. So if you want to have an appetizer off the menu you need to be seated and served. I enjoyed the fact that the menu was broken down to make it easier to order, however this menu was far from the traditional bubble tea menus I've grown accustomed to. With flavors like: cheesecake, salted caramel, cotton candy, and java chip just to name a few I felt more like I was going to get frozen yogurt than bubble tea. They do have a variety of bobas and toppings, and they do have "some" traditional flavors as well, so you can always come up with a different flavor combination All and all it was good! Came here twice in one week for a quick weeknight dinner close to home and found my favorite local Pad Thai! A lighter peanut flavor, which I prefer, and generous portion sizing (pictured is the lunch size.) Located in Pine plaza by Military Rd and Niagara Falls Blvd. Due to the pandemic, foods and drinks are offered for takeout or pickup only. Before entering, there's a big menu posted by the glass window, then there's another door with small windows where you place and pickup your order. They have a small table for straws, tips and a paper menu for you to take home. Don't forget to ring the call bell for assistance. We got there about 9:03pm and the guy asked us if we are going to dine in, we said yes BUT the guy said their kitchen is already closed and they're not going to accommodate us. Their sign on the front CLEARLY says 10:30am-10PM. "Kitchen is closed 1/2 hour before closing". We were there around 50mins before closing. This restaurant is a scam and bad service!!! Second, I love that the "refresher" doesn't have the same thick, syrup taste that fruit tea has. Although, I didn't realize I didn't care for that until I had a refresher at Boba Tea Cafe! It's a little watery compared to fruit tea and milk tea and tastes less sugary which I appreciate! Hubby ordered Lychee Milk Tea with Blueberry and Strawberry bursting bubbles. So yummy! We ordered the fried spring rolls which were good but a little more porky tasting than I would've preferred. But I would get them again. The Pho was so amazing and perfect! First things first. The server Ron is absolutely awesome and very knowledgeable about the food being served. The food is tremendously delicious. I had the sampler platter, fried rice seafood mix and the passion fruit tea with lychee bubbles. Let me tell you, your palate will love you for eating here. Love the clear glass top wood tables. I can't really comment about the ambience as I dined in during the lunch hour and inside was still pretty bright from the sunlight and I do prefer a darker setting as it feels more intimate. We were looking for a quick dinner later in the evening in Niagara Falls, and this was perfect. It was actually my first time ordering delivery on the Yelp App! The food came 20 minutes early (score!) and was delivered by a nice and friendly woman! The food was piping hot and delicious. We ordered a chicken pho (with deliciously fragrant and complex broth served in its own container and the chicken, noodles, bean sprouts, sriracha, hoisin, lime separate), pad Thai (which was a fish sauce explosion of saltiness. It was good, but the noodles were a little overdone), panang curry (which was one of the best we've had takeout-style. The flavors were incredibly well-balanced and there was a NICE kick to it)! Oh! This is a bubble tea only review. Restaurant is new & at the opposite end of the plaza from Duff's. Small but cozy business. If you are just ordering bubble tea the counter is all the way in the back. If you want food then you have to be seated. Choose your tea, type, flavor, size & sugar level. I did a regular size peach milk tea with boba. Staff is still learning the recipes since this place is new. Their straws are very difficult to open. My milk tea was nice & cold but somewhat gritty. It's not a coffee place, but since is so quiet you can use it to study in there and have some amenities We ordered guava and coconut bubble tea and so far the best ones we've have had.
