    N1. Pad Thai take out

I order the chicken pad Thai and Thai iced tea through door dash. The food came hot and fresh. It wasn't the best chicken pad Thai I've had, but it was still pretty good. I liked how there was plenty of toppings and chicken with the noodles. The Thai iced tea was delicious. It had a perfect level of sweetness. I was impressed with how cheap the food and drink was. It was definitely worth it!

When we walked in, we weren't greeted right away, so we just sat ourselves. When a staff member came out from the kitchen a few minutes later, he did apologize for the wait... his young son was supposed to be at the desk alerting of new customers, but was distracted by his phone. The service was friendly and food delivery was fairly quick after ordering. The restaurant isn't big, but not super small either... Maybe about 10 or so tables. We ordered a Thai iced tea, golden triangles (their version of crab Rangoon), a shrimp dish and a chicken curry. The Thai iced tea was yummy. The golden triangles had less filling in them than I would have liked. My shrimp was delicious. My friend was afraid the chicken curry was going to be too spicy, but it was just the right spice amount. I would visit Spring Asian Cuisine again.

fantastic service, food, and ambiance. You get a great amount of food for the price. We ordered Thai iced tea, wang mandu (like a bao bun), bibimbap, and pad kee mow (drunken noodles). The host was super personable and you can tell he loves what he does! Highly recommend.

I ordered Golden Triangles and PadThai. If there was a tablespoon of cream cheese in total for the 5 triangles that would have been allot. Then to put the sauce under them I had no idea it was there till I got to the last two. No plastic warehouse or napkins. And the Pad thesis was so dry I had to ah my own liquid.

A relatively new place in the NT canal part of dowNTown. Ended up here on a whim because my intended lunch spot was closed for the day. Pleasantly surprised. Specializing in Thai and Korean cuisine, this little gem served up some great grub. The menu is extensive, but it is obviously not commercially prepared food. Everything was wonderful. So much flavor! It's not a quick in and out for sit down service, but it's worth the wait. And they do a brisk takeout business.

I pass this corner so frequently, that when I saw them take down the old Yummy Thai sign, I was bummed. Then one day there was a new sign, Spring Asian Cuisine, one that had me nosily sticking my face in the window to see any signs of life. And then finally, it happened. On my first visit, I was just popping in for takeout, not having time for a full sit down meal. They must have been expecting me, because he called out my name, warning me to carry my bag with caution. I cradled that thing like it was a precious newborn the few blocks back to my mate and his sister. I had told when I got back that we were going to take pictures, as judging by the smell of the food, we were going to want to make the internet aware of its existence. But then our stomachs got the better of us, so please excuse the lack of brag worthy evidence. The siblings both got Bokkeum Bap, one pork, and one beef. That's fried rice, apparently really good fried rice, as even after they had finished eating, they were still talking about it as I slurped down my Glass Noodle Soup. I went for the shrimp, blowing on the still hot food, begging it not to burn off my tantalized taste buds. The food was good enough to make plans to go back. I followed through, albeit with a different pal, as the constant reminder of this place on my routine strut through town was making my stomach rumble. Besides, the more the merrier, because I really want this place to stick around. And judging by her words, I've roped in at least one more willing customer. We arrived Saturday after the parade, surprised to see that none of the traffic had stuck around. The only staff member we had seen offered us menus and ice water. I had combed over it multiple times online, struggling to narrow it down. He sadly informed us the lunch box special is weekday afternoons only, which knocked out a top contender, so I opted for the Healthy Garlic. It came with a small cup of white rice. Pretty sure I was supposed to mix it in with the large tray of veggies, but I set it to the side to delve into the main attraction. The napa was pliable without being beyond repair, the broccoli and peppers maintaining some integrity instead of just melting at contact. I appreciated that I could still chew through the tiny corn and the few carrots I managed before sliding them onto my pal's plate. We both agreed that the sauce was great. Not too sweet, or salty (I didn't even touch the condiment caddy, gasp) and with enough left to dribble into the to go container I got for the rice, still edible, even without reheating, hours later. The softness of the tofu and mushroom contrasted well with the rest of the dish, leaving me contentedly full. My pal had ordered fried rice, as I guess that is the standard for trying any Asian restaurant. I looked at her plate, speckled with mixed vegetables and shrimp. We did swapsies, taking a bite of each other's, knowing that we will have to come back to get a full portion for ourselves. These people know food. She even pointed out how she had to get the last drops of food off her plate, as she had skipped breakfast in anticipation for our late lunch, grateful that it lived up to her hopes. As for the calamari we had split, pretty great. I'm no expert in battered food, so take her word for it when she says they did it best. We both agreed it was better without the sauce, a personal preference, but if you're coming with an appetite, you might as well get a plate to snack on while waiting for the main course. My only negative note, laugh-worthy really, is that if you read their menu online, they have a dish called "crap fried rice" served with "fried soft shell crap" that is far from the truth. Don't call yourselves crap guys, because the food is anything but.

Needed dinner while the rest of the family got haircuts. Reading some reviews I got the Japchase Dolsot with beef and it was delicious my favorite part is the flavor of th glass noodles, also an order of spring rolls which consisted of 5 mozzarella stick sized treats for like $6. They were also delicious. The staff was super friendly and very courteous. I dined in and the place was very clean and smelled great. Will definitely be back.

They also have a large menu (some might complain its too large, lol). They have a variety of Thai, Japanese, Chinese, and other Asian dishes. They also have samosas, which was unexpected. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Curry Ramen, which was phenomenal. I also appreciated how the chicken was marinated and cut as they do in Japan. They also have the three major kinds of Ramen (Shoyu, Miso, and Tonkutsu). This place looks far from fancy, but its great to stop by for a nice authentic meal.

We came here because we wanted to try somewhere none of us had been before and everyone had a fantastic meal. The inside was larger than we expected and very clean. We were greeted by a friendly server and told we could sit anywhere we liked. We ordered soft shell crab bao and papaya salad for appetizers, both of which were crowd pleasers. Our entrees included chicken pad Thai, red curry duck, Massaman curry and tofu pad see ew. The portions were large enough for all off to have leftovers even after we had eaten our fill. I wish I had ordered the Massaman curry for myself, but I guess I'll just have to come back for more!

The cashier was a little gruff, but the woman running back and forth between the kitchen and the front had a better business sense about keeping customers happy. She didn't want me to wait long, so I think she rushed the kitchen a little bit, which I appreciated, but also may have led to some of the demerits on the food I mention below. I was happy to see one dish I ordered, the pig intestine with fish, on their picture board above the cash registers. That gave me confidence that they knew what they were doing and it was the best dish by far out of the three I ordered. The intestine was fresh and flavorful, the spice level was high, but also not too salty. It was a lot of food. Only drawback here was the fish (tilapia?) seemed to be heavy on the breading. The other two dishes were disappointing. Penang curry with pork had good vegetables, but the sauce had too little flavor since they went too heavy on the coconut milk. The pork seemed like chicken, not pork. Way too soft and flavorless. The Singapore Chow Mei Fun had good noodles and veggies. But the curry powder was not blended in. Eating it, I could still feel it in powder form. It was also far too oily. Overall, I think they had a lot of options but next time I'd steer more towards classic Chinese, since that seems to be what they do well. I hope next time the flavors will be stronger and blended better (i.e. powders actually stirred in). I'm willing to give them another chance, since they do have a lot of dishes I like. Last note: the online ordering service does not indicate that dishes come with rice. I thought they would have rice by default, but then when I added the penang curry to my cart, it asked whether I wanted rice or noodles or something else. So that made me think I had to order rice separately, which meant I had twice as much rice as I needed. It also said "quart of white rice" was sold out, but "pint of white rice" was not, yet the rice that came with my meal came in a quart container.

That includes clearing of items you're done with immediately and no waiting for your bill. I was never rushed; they were just great at their job! Honestly hard to find over the last few years and I was very grateful for that experience alone. The ambience was a very cozy-casual. As I was dining alone this time, I enjoyed the 80s music and videos playing on the TV haha I have to be honest ... I really really wanted to order a roll! But I'm trying to do better about trying other things. So I ordered the Atlantic mussels and the pan seared scallops with veggies with fresh ginger sauce and rice, at a spice level of 3/5. The mussels were very generous and in a large bowl. My biggest pull, aside from the mussels themselves, was that in the description it had a creamy coconut sauce. But I did not taste any coconut and it wasn't creamy. It was broth. It wasn't bad or anything, just not quite what I was expecting. I did appreciate, in general, that there were a couple of mussel options. I hadn't had them in quite some time. The dinner entree was very good. I loved that there was a 1-5 spice scale to choose from. I picked level 3 and was a little worried it wouldn't be spicy enough but it definitely was! It was perfect. The sauce was good and the scallops plump. Veggies were fresh and rice sticky. I had water to drink and it was also very good (felt it deserved a mention lol). I would definitely come back here, but I would definitely order rolls next time! It's what my heart really desires! Side note: great place to indulge in for a whole food diet! I felt very satisfied from my seafood and veggies!!
