Crab and shrimp in spicy broth
    Susan S.

5/2025: An update: There's now kimchi and seaweed salad on the condiments bar, as well as four different types of tripe among the chilled meats. I tried the mushroom broth this time, and while I liked it, the spicy broth (full of chilies and chile oil) is still my favorite. I'm reminded why this is a vegetarian's paradise: Multiple soup bases for the vegetarian or vegan; vegetables, rice noodles, and bowls of rice available as you wish.

This was a nice spot in the winter time! There's KBBQ and hotpot and 5 large bar areas with a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, noodles, fish balls/tofu. The service was nice and they routinely come around to check that everything is in order but you cook everything yourself. Overall the restaurant environment is quite nice and spacious, and seating booths are separate and intimate for good conversation

It has something for everyone! Seafood, beef, chicken, pork, a wall of vegetables, fruits and desserts. The strawberry lychee drink was amazing! I ordered the spicy broth bowl and added the seafood and vegetables to it while my meat cooked. Unlike other buffets, they didn't charge me for any food I didn't like (a crawfish and the lamb shaving). It's all you can eat and I was very happy with the seasoned meats and surprisingly the snail! The atmosphere is very welcoming and clean

Loved it. Especially the adorable robot who showed us to our table! Steve was our server and he was excellent. Since it was our first time he gave us a tour of the restaurant and explained how everything worked, where everything was, and how to use the grill and hotpot. Everything was delicious. We both had drinks too, and mine was so good. I can't WAIT to go back!!

We came here for my brother in law's birthday dinner, and we had a good time! First you pick if you want the bbq, hot pot, or both. We opted for both, but I personally only used the hot pot since I'm pregnant. Then you get to pick your broth, and I chose the mushroom. It was nice and flavorful! Then you go to the buffet and choose anything you'd like to put in your broth or on the grill. I put ramen, green onions, chicken, and garlic in my broth. It was really good! The pot was huge, so I was not able to finish since the portion was big for me. There was a dessert bar too, so I got some fresh fruit and jello. I ordered a bubble tea, but the flavor was kind of floral, which wasn't my liking. We also felt a little rushed the whole time especially since there was a reservation after us, but we understood that the restaurant couldn't control that.

This is the one place that has KBBQ and hotpot AYCE. It is very rare for Buffalo tbh. We made an easy reservation online first. We came at 5pm and the place wasn't too crowded. I was sad that this place wasn't popular because I would love to support them more. Maybe because many students left for winter break at the moment. The food was adequate. And the service was outstanding. Food was constantly filled at the salad bar. Plates were cleared constantly too. I will come back some time.

Peanut, the little robot that showed us to our table, is the best worker there and he deserves a raise. But seriously, all of the workers there are super friendly. For your first time there, they still show you around the restaurant to make sure you understand how hot pot and kbbq works. We go here about once every month/two months and the staff always welcomes us back. We always do the combo of hot pot and bbq. I always get the Tom yum broth. I recently got the tomato broth and I actually like it better. For the hot pot portion, they have a variety of different meat, vegetables, tofu, mushrooms, and seafood to cook. The from menu ranges from boba to alcoholic beverages. For those who don't know which sauce to make, here is one I like: - soy sauce - white vinegar - garlic - green onion - jalapeño - sugar - pepper

Went to K-BBQ and got pot for a friends birthday and seeing as we drove 1hr out of the way because he specifically wanted to go here I knew it would be good. When you walk in there's a cute lobby with a little waiter robot who takes you to your seat. I would suggest making reservations if you have a large party or plan on going at popular times. This place can get busy during peak times. Once inside you are given a choice of 6-8 different soup bases from mild to spicy (base price for hot pot is about $30 per person-which includes all the side bar stuff). I'm not a spicy person so I got a milder base but tried my friends spicy base and it wasn't overly spicy The topping and ingredients bar was pretty expansive so it will have something for all. A lot of veggie, meat and seafood options. You could go up as much or little as you wanted. So if you're a big eater you can do some damage here. Only caveat is a 90min limit at peak hours. At the end you get a choice of a small chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry ice cream with your bill. Overall a great place and I see why my friend wanted to go out of his way to come here!

Ask the Community - K-BBQ & Hot Pot

    Is it byob?

No, there's a full bar, the option to sit at the bar if waiting for a table; a card of specialty cocktails and house wines.

Does each person get their own broth for hot pot? Vegetarian going with meat eaters

Yes you choose your own broth also if you don't care for meat you can just eat without bbq meat and it's $5 cheaper, if there price didn't go up.

Since then, they've become very commonly put in the best wings group for locals. However, I will say that while that is a great thing for their business, it may be a con too. This is a very small dive bar. Nice sports bar atmosphere and the staff is generally very nice and accommodating. But the last couple times we've been, we've noticed the dip in food service. We showed up at 5pm on a Saturday, and when we walked in, I kid you not, there was not one order of food on any of the tables, and the tables were filled. Very bizarre. I would assume they do a great portion of their business with door dash, and it seems as if that took priority over feeding the customers inside of the actual restaurant. It also seemed extremely overpriced. (I didn't pay much attention in the past about the price.) for 5 single order of wings, order of fingers, 1 order of onion rings, and 1 order of fries, our bill (4 adults and 2 kids) was $172. I could not believe it. You would have thought we ate at Lucia's for that price. While they are still my favorite wings, it's gonna cost you.

Anyway, I ordered a couple apps and the two meat plate with Chicken & Brisket, Beans, Slaw & the Mac Salad. Y'all, the brisket was moist tender and nicely marbled. I ate half of it before even opening the sauces! Same to be said for the Chicken, it was tender, with the perfect little hint of smoke, legit delicious! I highly recommend this spot when visiting the area... I will definitely be back my next time through.

The food here is insanely good, which was a huge relief. My Matt and I went here for our anniversary. He loves BBQ and I love Indian food, so it worked out perfectly. We arrived a tad after four on a Thursday; there was no line. We walked up to the meat carver's station with no one in front of us. The menu was clearly posted right above the carving station, but my anxiety meant I genuinely couldn't process it in the moment, even though we weren't being rushed by anything. I kept asking the carvers questions that were answered right on the board in front of me, and they kept a very friendly face and powered through with patience. I appreciate that immensely. We found a table on the enclosed patio. There were a few large picnic tables and some other smaller tables in there too. There isn't a ton of space inside, but they have a giant backyard with a bunch of seating. If it had been slightly warmer, we would've opted for the backyard. Matt had his three-meat, two-side tray with an added Texas Twinkie and a slice of their housemade milk bread. He wanted to sample as much as possible. We ended up getting four more meals out of the leftovers. They brought out my hot link foldie and shells 'n' cheese with candied jalapeños maybe seven minutes later, hot and fresh. As I took pictures, I noticed everything glowed! The colors were so vibrant and varied. It was easy to get good photos. The flavors were extraordinary. Everything was perfectly prepared. The sliced brisket and the ribs I tried from Matt's tray were the best I have ever had by far. The smoked hot link foldie I ordered was incredible. It combined my love of sausage, Indian flavors, and incredibly fresh, buttery, flaky paratha. The slaw and various housemade condiments, pickled onion, and candied jalapeños made it. I would order this a million more times. AND! It's $12. No joke. You want a pizza shop sub that's carelessly thrown together with low-quality, highly processed ingredients for at least $12...or this gorgeous foldie? I could go on and on about everything we tried and how satisfyingly perfect it all was...but try it yourself! You will not be disappointed. There is no "wrong" thing to order from the menu. We're already planning a return, and I can't wait!
