So we are fans of PF Chang's, but today we went with a group for lunch. It's Sunday so they don't serve lunch, we paid $18.50 for chicken and broccoli, plus friend rice and chicken wraps. There was a total of 3 items and a cup of soup $63. That is outrageous and we will not be back on Sunday and maybe ever...because u penalized us for ordering Gluten Free, it's total BS. Lastly, lunch is lunch what difference does it make what day of the week it is and if it's dinner why such a small dish? Bad menu..bad management!! This is one of my favorite places to go. Not only is the food delish but the staff is fantastic and knowledgeable. I'm a regular at this location and just started using their catering. I was so happy that the food was extremely hot when it arrived and tasted just as good as it does in the restaurant. Went with a large group of women(30). Nice atmosphere and staff were very friendly. Most of the items ordered by the group were well done. My mother and I ordered the Singapore Street Noodles and my cousin had the chicken Pad Thai. It would be gracious to say the chicken ran through it but barely stopped. The flavour of our dishes was good but the lack of chicken or chicken/shrimp in our dishes was very evident and disappointing. Mine had 2 quarter sized pieces of chicken and 2 similar sized shrimp. 2 years ago this place was what I consider to be the best of all the P.F. Chang's we had ever been to. I realize these are the days of Covid, but we most likely will not return. The Orange Peel Chicken used to be phenomenal - crispy, barely dusted with breading, bright flavors spot-on and well balanced. What we got today was heavily breaded, gloppy in a citrus-y sauce that tasted straight out of a bottle or jar. Gummy and totally saturated as if they had warmed it up from the day before. The quality of the meat itself was very good, but the rest was just gross. Lettuce wraps were good, standard.service was great - very friendly. The two stars are for the service. We've always had great experience here. It sure is a busy place though, just like any restaurants during dinner hours. So be sure to call and make reservation if you want to be seated right the way. The place is newer and modern, not like the one in Westshore which is kind of run down. I enjoy the various Chinese takeout places that Tampa Bay has to offer. But PF Chang's makes me want to come in and sit a spell for awhile. What they have over the other mom-and-pop Chinese places is their offering of brown rice. My waistline thanks them endlessly for this. Every dish that I've ever had there tastes authentic. For some reason, I always get the green beans! The meat varies based on however I feel! And the giant Han Dynasty-ish horse figures- you gotta take a picture with them. We shall be back! read more

We made a reservation for New Year's Eve 8 pm at the Clearwater location. We arrived early and were told they were 45 min behind on all reservations. People were waiting outside from 6 o'clock for their reservation needless to say we didn't wait. We went somewhere else. At 9 pm my daughter received a text that we were number 15 on the list and that they were on number 2. Why bother to take reservations very disappointed not going back. This place is excellent for a higher end date night. The food and service (once seated, more on that later) are excellent. The prices are pretty high, but the food is so delicious and presented so well that it really does function as a higher class restaurant. When we have an anniversary or haven't been out in a while, this is one of our favorite places to go. The key to getting a seat quickly is to make a reservation. If you come in expecting to be seated quickly without one, you may be asking for trouble. I've seen more than a few frustrated patrons waiting for their hostesses to seat them. It seems like the last couple of times we have come in, it's hard to find a hostess, and when one is found, they don't seem to be the best trained in the place. Once seated however, the wait staff are very courteous and professional. The setting is calm and refined, not too noisy, and relaxing. Food generally comes pretty fast, especially if you do the 2 for $50 option which includes an appetizer, soups, entrees and desert. Overall we love this restaurant, I just had to knock off one star for the difficulty finding a parking spot (it's at the front of the mall) and the seeming lack of hostesses. We went to PF Chang's in Countryside last night for a "Special Occassion" dinner. We called at 5:45 for a 6:30 table for 4 and Lauren the Hostess took excellent care of us even though the downpour crossing the Causeway made us 15 minutes late. We pulled in and before the Valet had pulled our car out to park we were whisked to a nice table in the expected jam-packed Saturday rush dining room. Alicia, our server, greeted us promptly with a smile and suggestions for Cocktails. I tried a "Geisha" which was vodka based and citrus flavored and was very refreshing. It went down very smooth from its icy Collins glass ($11.50). My wife had Sangria served Red, in a large wine goblet served with a plethora of fresh fruit including 2 huge strawberries ($9.50). It was then off to the races. We ordered several appetizers all between $8 and $11 each. We had pan fried dumplings (pork) and they were hot, perfectly browned and served on a slick of dumpling sauce. They soaked up the perfect amount of sauce in the shell, and each bite had the flavor infused. We also had the requisite Lettuce wrap which is always fantastic with its tender chicken and rice noodles wrapped in do-it-yourself fashion. The crispy never bitter iceberg lettuce leaves are amazing as they are never "off flavor". A testament to the purveyor for sure. We also had the PF Chang Ribs (6) which are served stacked with visual appeal. They are my favorite part of a meal with tender meat and the perfect sweet Asian glaze. My daughter's Sushi roll was served at the proper temperature to release all the fkavor. Large slices of tuna and fresh shaved Ginger garnish atop a sirraca sauce drizzle. The one miss was the Egg Roll app... it was greasy and soggy although the flavor was good the noodle wrapper was literally dripping grease. We also ordered a large variety of entrees.. and sides. My daughter's Chang Spicy chicken was perfect. A large pile of lightly breaded tiny cuts of tender white meat chicken served pan fried with a savory/sweet sauce with a surprising kick of heat as a finish. My wife had General Tso which wasn't as hot flavored and was loaded with nuts and fresh veggies all sauteed in the slightly spicy sauce My MIL had sweet and Sour chicken which looked and was reported to be delicious. The best part of their presentation is all the chicken we ordered was fantastic white meat but also they cut the pieces small so there is never any large chewy pieces.. each bite can include a mix of all the dish ingredients as everything is small enough to mix on a single forkfull. I had my usual, Mongolian Beef. A serving of thin sliced steak, well done (crispy) served with long scallion greens. It is always tender and never a morsel of fat to mar the bite size strips, cooked in a tasty sauce to really enhance the pop of flavors. We added an order of Pork Fried Rice which was another slight miss. The rice was very starchy (as was the rice served with entrees) and the few pieces of Pork were surprisingly large, chewy, flavorless and rubbery. I always forget this dish disappoints. Good fried rice is my favorite and in my excitement I forget I truly dislike it here. We also ordered pork lo mein as a shareable side and it was well sauced and the noodles were cooked perfect but unfortunately it shared the same grey, rubbery, too large slices of unappetizing pork. We all boxed over half our entrees for take home, since I over-ordered the delicious appetizers. Getting the entree finished was an impossible feat. We had a Publix cake at home so dessert was skipped. The server boxed everything remaining tableside and presented us with our bill. The total for this feast of Freshly prepared Asian food rang in at $175.. but when you figure we ordered almost DOUBLE what was prudent and have enough left over for a tasty Sunday repast, it was as expected. A splurge for sure. Add in a tip and the total sprang the change purse open at $225. Remember, this was a celebration so we really tried anything we wanted. A normal order of dinner for 4 could be had for about 1/3 of that. The service throughout was on point. The waitress was on top of drinks and the "team" approach to delivery meant the dozen plates came and went in a steady flow. Nothing had time to cool off and empty plates were cleared in a timely fashion. Our faithful Lauren at the front podium saw us readying to leave and contacted the Valet so my car was directly outside the front door instead of lined up in the queue with everyone else in the pouring rain. The 3 ladies in the group would only have to cross 10 feet of sidewalk to the curbside doors attended by the Valet.. he opened the 2 doors simultaneously in perfect timing as they approached to keep them as dry as possible. We received stellar treatment from the entire staff. It was nice getting such VIP treatment on a very busy Saturday night. read more

They don't even deserve one star for the service we received tonight we ordered take out at 5:10, and at 5:45 they brought it out...not in the 20 minutes they said. Ok..so they were slow...but then when we checked the order, it was completely WRONG! Back to remake half the order..while the half that was right got cold. 20 minutes later, they bring us the corrected part of our take out, and so kindly refund me the portion that was wrong. EXCEPT they overcharged me to begin with!!! They finally credit us ( after my daughter got upset) with only the portion that was wrong..25 dollars off of a 120.00 dollar order! The food is usually excellent and consistent at this PF, but the service is horrible. It takes forever between visits by the wait staff. And I am not talking about just one visit, every time we go there it seems like everyone at the table says something about the length of time it takes to eat a meal. You find yourself ordering desert and at the same time asking for the check and having your card ready when they finally show back up st the table. Also, the bathrooms are always in terrible shape, no soap or paper towels. This time it looks like someone tried to rip the paper towel dispenser off the wall, must have been looking for that last sheet to dry their hands. Find it hard to go back other than at the bar where there are usually two or three bartenders. read more

Although we are a PF Chang frequent diner, usually in Tampa, I have to say that after 3 visits to this location with hopes that the service would improve, it hasn't. The food was good as usual but the service is very slow (perhaps that is why the restaurant is so empty) but the worst part is bar service. I have decided they are either ordering the alcoholic drinks from the bar three businesses away or else they are looking up every recipe in the bartender book. It took at least 15-20 minutes to get our first round of drinks. The second round wasn't much better. I realize it can be difficult to make a Bacardi and coke and a margarita on the rocks. Today we went to PF Chang's for a late lunch. We were seated right away as it was not very busy and it's a Sunday afternoon. I had a $50 gift card to use so we ordered a couple of appetizers , pork egg rolls and crab wonton's. When they arrived to our table the presentation was very nice, they were hot and were accompanied with sauces. The egg rolls were good not great, they didn't have very much filling and the sauce that they serve with them is a sweet flavor sauce but it's not a typical sweet and sour type of sauce that you'd expect. The crab wontons were not good, the filling was a tan/ beige white color, not the typical cream cheese looking type of filling. When I took a bite all I tasted was ginger. NOT GOOD. I asked our waiter if we could please replace these with another egg roll and he did replace it and took it off of our bill. For the main course we ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken Lunch portions which was $13 and we paid extra to get fried rice instead of white rice. We also ordered Kung Pao chicken and instead of rice , we asked for singapore noodles. The sweet and Sour Chicken was not crispy at all , the coating was soggy with the sauce that they used which was the same non inspiring sauce that they served with the pork egg rolls. Yes , it had the fried rice on the bottom with the soggy chicken on top and the sauce. There was some onions and green peppers , along with bits of pineapple mixed in. The bowl was like a frozen TV dinner, actually I think the TV dinner would have been a bit better. The Kung Pao had a nice amount of chicken and slivers of onions and celery and peanuts in a pretty salty sauce over the noodles I requested. It tasted like salt with a little bit of heat, but mostly just salt. It's been a LONG time since we've been to PF Chang's , as I remembered it it was VERY GOOD. Not the case now for sure. I wish that I had read the reviews here first. PF Chang's, you should be ashamed of your food quality!!! The service started out really good , then as a few more tables got seated in his section we seen less and less of him. We both were very ready for our waters to be refilled from all of the salt. Very disappointed. Poor management. I made a reservation, I arrived on time with my party. Management informed me that they don't hold tables for reservations. They allowed a woman who walked in simultaneously to seat herself in the only available table while they made us wait 30 minutes. While we waited in the lobby the management allowed this woman to sit @ what could or should have been "our table" waiting for her party. After 30 minutes we were finally seated. It'll be a long time before I come back to this location. My time is precious, if they plan to continue to take reservations they should honor it. The food was also substandard today. Brought food home. It was disgusting. Soup was tasteless, wontons were mushy, pork fried rice was bland, and almost totally devoid of any pork. In addition, the Mongolian beef was shoeleather tough. We threw out two large containers of wonton soup, half of the rice, and ate a quarter of the beef until our gums hurt. it was a waste of time, energy, and money. I wouldn't take any food photos out of concern of making you gag. I've eaten better authentic Chinese food in tiny take-out spots than this fancy formula sit-down restaurant. read more

What a disappointment -I am a big fan of P.F.Changs today we ordered dumpling shrimp and pork that were very poorly cooked and did not taste good . The main dish got to the table prior to the first course soup and dumpling .
