Lunch at P.F. Chang's of all places ‍ It was absolutely solid, surprisingly. I'm not usually a fan of chains but great service, good food and ambience. My husband adored his black pepper chicken. I had the Mongolian beef, which was good. I would've liked more veggies. The egg drop soup was actually flavorful for a change of pace. We tried the happy hour it wasn't busy at all. Happy hour until 6pm. We ended up getting one seasonal cocktail and siguture cocktail. The pork dumplings was good. And crab wontons wasn't fired enough and filling wasn't as good as used to be . The overall ambiance was nice and the waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. I ordered $170 plus in food over the phone with Camonie and it was a large delivery order and she was patient and double checked the food order, delivery time and address. She provided me 'World-Class' customer service in my opinion and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this location. I have eaten there several times over the years and the food is served in a timely matter, and with no errors even if the store is busy which is normal in the dinner hour. read more

Valentine's Day pre-fixe was amazing! Started off with 2 bites of sushi as an amuse-bouche, each had a soup. Split a delicious app of Asian spices ribs and 2 entrees. My pepper steak was a tad spicy but so delicious. And the Mongolian beef was great as always. Dessert was a ridiculously delicious butter cake that I needed 3 more of! Cocktails were very tasty too. We get this for lunch at work on occasion. Today is that day. I ordered the Miso Salmon with white rice, broccoli, spinach, and mushrooms It also comes with an egg roll. Size is pretty good. I would say the salmon may be a little overcooked, but that's probably because it had to go from one location to another. Vegetables are meh. Spinach is overcooked broccoli is undercooked no seasoning on the rice only on the salmon. If you're ordering for Work, I have lots of options for lunch so there's something for everyone. read more

Used to dine at this PF Chang's location a few years ago and the food was not at the caliber I was used to this time compared to when I used to dine there. On the positive notes...the interior was nice as always, hostesses were excellent in attentiveness, server was very friendly and helpful. Drinks were delivered in good time. Appetizer was excellent!! Sesame Chicken entree was excellent!! I was disappointed in the Kung Pao Beef entree and side of Lo Mein noodles. The beef was very tough and the peppers were dry and difficult to chew. Another horrible experience at this restaurant. Waiter "forgot" to put appetizer order in. Waiter was slower than slow. It seems you only hire slow people. When leaving I complained that it was a terrible experience and your employee laughed at me. She thought it was quite humorous. I asked to see the manager at which point she announced she was the manager - oh it explains it all - the fish rots from the head - when you have a bad manager there is no expectation that employees will do a good job. She had been too busy chatting up one of the male employees. Never did figure out who he was beyond being interested in her.... Really bad image. They have a job to do, not to work on their personal relationship. She identified herself as Bailey Turner, Senior Manager. Start by terminating her and get a manager who actually knows how to run a restaurant. We eat out 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. It is a long drive to your restaurant. The last two times have been terrible. Let us know when you have fixed the issues with your employees. By the way, it is not about the food. It is about the front staff who fail at service at every opportunity, over and over. read more

We ordered teriyaki chicken, teriyaki beef, and a beef with broccoli. Both teriyaki's came out way too spicy almost impossible to eat! beef and broccoli was OK but not great. It has been many years since we went to a PF Chang's restaurant. We have been to one in Cleveland and two in Las Vegas. We tried our local PFC in Clearwater on a Wednesday at around 5:30 and were seated immediately before the rush. The atmosphere was as we remembered, clean and comfortable. Our server, Dillon, took our drink order and brought them to us promptly then took our food order. Dillon's cadence at the table was perfect. I ordered the Mongolian beef and my wife ordered the Kung Pao chicken. Both entrees were delicious and ample enough to bring half home for another meal. Our overall thoughts on this PFC are that the food and service is better than we remembered. We will definitely be back for dining in and carry out. read more

The food is always okay but hey it's all the same except vegetarian or the options of beef, chicken or shrimp. This is just an observation and this happens everywhere in restaurants, stores, md offices airports in this instance, at dinner,the waitress completely ignored my elderly Mum. Never looked at her, asked her what she wanted, how was her food, offered the check to her. It's so sad and so hurtful. P. F. Chang's used to be good but recently it has gone downhill. This was not the first time when we sat down (4:30 Christmas Eve) they came by to tell us they were out of the special advertised appetizers. Ou salad was loaded with cilantro which, was not listed in the menu, overpowering everything else. The very high priced beef tenderloin entree was swimming in so much grease it was not edible. The manager offered to remake it but at that point I didn't even want it. We were so disappointed that our one time favorite has become so awful. read more

Flavor, flavor, flavor bomb. Except for our shrimp dumplings everything was seasoned in sauces that may you want to lick the spoon. You should never go out to eat when you're super hungry otherwise you end up with to many dishes like we did bit the leftovers made a second meal. If you join the club and order $50 of food and non-alcoholic beverages you're eligible for a free lettuce wrap appetizer worth $15 which we were able to use right away and was very tasty. Cheers to the water chestnuts! My sister said the Brussel sprouts were very good which I believe since they are not my cup of tea. Mongolian beef is excellent. You can skip the shrimp dumplings, they were cooked well but did not have any discernable shrimp, the sauce served with them saved the dish. Fir a chain restaurant their food is top notched. P.F. Chang's at Countryside Mall is open! We've visited twice in the past two weeks, enjoying Happy Hour at their bar. I'm giving 4 stars for now. The season special was gone at lunch time and was informed of it AFTER we ordered. Sorry, not a very good experience for me. if you're hungry for some Chinese fusion dishes, sure, go and try the place but be ready to wait for fast service. You're not going to get it here. Despite the recent bad reviews, I figured I'd give it a shot myself since I've enjoyed the food from this very location in the past. I wish I would have listened to the previous reviews! We started with the pan fried homemade shrimp dumplings and they were delicious! The sweet chili sauce served with it was the perfect pairing with it. For our entrees we ordered the Mongolian Beef and the crispy honey chicken. Unfortunately the honey chicken was not flavorful, had more breading than chicken and had to be sent back. My boyfriend found the beef dry, although I was hungry and ate it. I found it to be more than edible and definitely better than the chicken. The management was great and very attentive in addressing our issues which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, friendly staff and good management are not the issues here. read more

On a scale from 0-10, I award a -10 (Minus 10). My Mongolian Beef was terrible. Over cooked but also probably some of the worst quality beef I have ever tasted. Hard, chewy, terrible. Clearwater's PF Chang has the distinction of being the worst by far PF Chang I have ever eaten in. I used to love PF Chang's and may eat in Tampa (maybe) but that meal was absolutely terrible. I don't think you get to this level of bad without making clear decisions to use crappy beef and improperly train your staff. I am sorry I had to award a single star. read more

Wood floors in dining room are filthy. So dirty your rubber sole shoes are sticky to the floor. If you have to use the handicap toilet in womens' restroom, hang on to the rail. the toilet seat slides left to right because it is not bolted solid to the toilet. On our way out the door, said to ourselves "Never coming gack to this place." Weekend lunch and business was not great. P.F. Chang's is one of my family's favorite restaurants. And recently the food has been fantastic although we still miss those little shot glass desserts they used to have. Lettuce wraps, Edamame and Northern Style Spare Ribs are our favorite choices. The reason for the 2 stars has more to do with the bill. We all know tipping culture has gotten absurd while the cost of a night out to dinner has gone up at the same time. This bill just has to leave you shaking your head. Hubby & I went to P.F. Chang's for the first time for lunch today and we loved it! The server, Savanah, told the chef it was our first time and the chef gave us a complimentary dessert!!! The usual happened in which I get too excited about the food that I forget to take photos. We got the sweet & sour chicken and fried rice. I haven't been to a P.F. Chang's in well over 10 years so pretty much the same as a first visit for me. I very much expected over priced average food and was pleasantly surprised. For the appetizers we got the edamame and chili green beans. I'm not much of an edamame person but it was decent. The green beans were freaking amazing - definitely unexpected and they weren't spicy to me; just the right balance of heat and sweetness. I had the pan fried shrimp dumplings and a Caesar salad. The salad was fine, not your typical Caesar dressing but was light and fresh. The dumplings were so good and the perfect amount as a meal for me. I also had some of the honey chicken - that's thumbs up from me as well. The service left a lot to be desired, both speed wise as well as attentiveness. The server was very nice but rarely checked in (once), let the plates stack up and didn't offer drink refills (we had to ask him as he was walking away). It was pretty empty during lunch so I'm not sure what the issue was but it won't stop us from returning. All in all a great experience that was surprisingly affordable. read more

I found the food to be hit or miss. P.F. Chang's is not my go to for Chinese food. I think the atmosphere really lends itself to the experience, because the food itself can be mediocre and overpriced. My husband talked me into ordering Uber Eats from here after he left the chicken on the grill and fell asleep (forty minutes later I woke him up asking where the chicken was...it was completely burnt). The only reason I agreed was the lettuce wraps. I really like their lettuce wraps (to be fair, I've never met a chicken lettuce wrap that I haven't liked). As all my prior experiences, I loved the lettuce wrap appetizer and it would have been the perfect meal. Unfortunately, we got more dishes. The Mongolian Beef was delicious, like always. We got it with fried rice instead of white rice and I thought it was just ok. My husband said he liked the fried rice. The beef lo mein was just meh. I liked the beef, but I found the dish overall to be mediocre. However, my son loves noodles to I'd be open to getting it again for him. The orange chicken is what went downhill for me. I really didn't like it. It had an overpoweringly sweet taste. Also, traveling from Clearwater to Westchase did not bode well for a fried dish (can't blame P.F. Chang's for that though). Usually I love any breaded and fried chicken from a Chinese restaurant so this was a major disappointment to me. The food is definitely expensive. It can be $20 for a dish, which I don't think is worth that. Normally I'll stick with my neighborhood Chinese restaurant, but I'll venture here every so often for those lettuce wraps! read more

Nice lunch of shrimp pad thai spicy, chicken fried rice and sesame chicken. All were delicious. Perfect heat on the pad thai. The sesame chicken had crispy dark meat with a perfect blend of  broth, water, vinegar,soy sauce, sesame oil, chile paste, and garlic. Samantha did a great job of serving us again. She is pleasant to everyone and seems to enjoy her job. I enjoy going to PF Chang's because it's always clean and I always feel welcome. The dishes are normally consistent too. I ordered the Japanese Old Fashion drink and teriyaki chicken. So delicious I ate the whole thing! My husband ordered a happy hour beverage and then the crispy honey chicken. I have been to P.F. Chang's two times with a friend and both times the food has been excellent. Both times the servers were not only congenial but also professional. And both times we agreed to split our choices. Usually when I go to a restaurant with others and order food for the first time, when I return, I stay safe and order the same thing I ordered originally. But as I was again with my bestie and because separate servings are usually so big for each of us, we both end up with a doggy bag (or overeating). The real problem with a doggy bag is that if you don't go straight home, the food can spoil and ends up getting tossed...and I have a kitty who should not eat people food. Our solution, we agree to split an appetizer and an entree. We cut our bill in half and leave the restaurant with our appetites completely satisfied. But I digress...the food choices have been excellent, and I look forward to our next visit. By the way, we hit a movie before dinner and since P.F. Chang's is around the corner at this mall, it has now become a pairing that we both look forward to.
