Horrible experience. I order beef and broccoli via uber eats. Delivery was timely and fine. However, I got what appeared to be chicken and broccoli. Ok. Mistakes happen. I tried it thinking I'll make do but the chicken was gross. The eggrolls were greasy, and the broccoli was greasy and coated in oil, gross. The chicken was worse. Did not taste like anything I had ever had, seriously the most processed, injected and flavorless chicken I have ever had! . So I called to complain and was told I was sent beef and broccoli. I assured her I did not get that and she argued with me!! So, I scooped up the meal and headed there. (Even though I ordered in so I wouldn't have to go out tonight.) I showed up with the chicken and broccoli, "oh, they said. It's chicken." Duh. They offered to make me another meal but I asked for my money back. They refused. Said I had to get it back from Uber. I "but you are paid by Uber."' That did not seem to register. Again she said I had to contact Uber! For a wrong order they sent out and the food was disgusting!! Not Uber's fault!! Bottom line. Everything is fresh with lots of flavor. The general tsos chicken is actually spicy like it should be! We found a new go to take our place. We were regulars at another place on McMullen Booth Rd but tried this place for a change. The first time we ordered we couldn't tell if the food was that much better than the other or because we haven't had takeout in so long, it tasted that good. We just had another take out experience and were pleasantly surprised it was as tasty as the first time. Everyone in our house agreed, the egg rolls were some of the best we've ever eaten. read more

This is our neighborhood take out for Chinese for 7 yrs now & probably have eaten everything at least once on their menu & never had 1 complaint. Is it the best Chinese takeout in the world I doubt that but for a neighborhood Chinese takeout it's a five star in my book. We order anywhere from 3 to 5 entrées and they do not use the same sauce for each dish as many takeout restaurants do. The food is fresh and tasty. We have been to Happi Wok several times. Due to the pandemic we have not gone out to dinner and have only gotten takeaway a few times. We decided to order Chinese and Happi Wok did not disappoint. We usually order lots of food and have leftovers for several meals. We ordered two soups, egg rolls, wings with fried rice and five entrees. It was great. Happi Wok in Dunedin is our go-to spot for Chinese take out. It's in the shopping center next to Wynn Dixie on the corner of Main and Curlew. We typically order the combination meals which include enough food for about three days. Awesome egg rolls and the fried won-ton's are fabulous as well. Friendly helpful service there too and they have been great to work with during Covid stretch. Oh, and we never have to buy tupperware again because of the containers they come in. Ordered delivery and enjoyed it very much. Chicken fried rice, chicken wings, egg roll, and general tso's chicken. I almost didn't order the wings based on a review where someone said they were heavily breaded- I'm glad I gave them a try- no breading and cooked very well. I don't eat egg rolls but hubby enjoys them. He said these were good so I tried a bite, what I had was good but, it was still an egg roll. Phone order was simple and easy, even as a 1st time order. However, she did tell me it was going to be 45 mins (wha???). It got here in about 30 but I wouldn't recommend if you're eat-your-arm-off hungry (we are used to much shorter cook times). Overall flavors were good. Food didn't seem greasy. Would have liked the General Tso's to be a bit crispier but, giving benefit of the doubt, it did sit around for about 15 mins before we ate. Plenty of condiment packets were included however, no chopsticks! I guess we're among the minority that enjoys using chopsticks for Chinese. We have a set but the cheap disposable ones work well enough (and using them means that I don't have to dig out the fancy box). Hoping next time they will provide - if I remember to ask for them. We will order again. Heads above what we received from another local place. Reading the other reviews, I'm wondering if we're all talking about the same place. Odd. read more

Be careful about freshness of ingredients and make sure to taste before you consume your wontons quickly. Soft sour smelling bad. Not good things to experience. But don't try to help the staff by explaining the problem because they know nothing is or can be wrong because no one has ever complained before. So if you are ever unhappy with the "HAPPY WOK" don't bother to offer any insight as to how to improve. Just look for another place cause their license is up in February. Let's hope they get some help to fix their food handling and safety issues soon read more

Due to the quarantine you have to call in the order in advance....but is it ever worth it! Some of the best Chinese I've had in a long time. Rivals some of New York's best....the fried rice was exceptional, loaded with fresh veggies. The Szechuan beef was tender, large portion and perfect heat. The pork egg foo yuong was generous and the gravy sauce delicious. The soup was a great deal for $3.25 a quart. It was ready to pick-up in under 15 minutes and the bag had everything we needed for a great meal. At lunch, you also get a can drink per entree. Highly recommend it! New owners- and we just lost our favorite Chinese place. Food is no longer fresh, which is bad for shrimp. Food quantity decreased dramatically. The big scrumptious shrimp are small, you get four in an order of shrimp and chicken with mixed veggies, and tasted SOUR. Egg rolls are 25% smaller like everything else. The chicken wings used to be eight- they are now 4!! And no drumsticks- just four skinny wings. In an order. FOUR. The soy sauce packets are NOT REAL SOY SAUCE! Whoever heard of tasteless soy sauce?? Absolutely awful, I ordered pork egg fu yung and it was so burned on one side it was inedible. Seriously burnt to a crisp...so I called the restaurant to allow them to fix their error and they argued with me that it was never burnt. Avoid this place at all cost, clearly they don't care about quality. The owner contacted me several hours later to ask me to prove the burnt food, after I offered to bring it back to show them (this was originally a Grubhub delivery) -I had already put it down the garbage disposal so the owner postured that I was lying. I don't care about free food but I do care about a conscience and shouldn't we all? This was BY FAR the WORST Chinese food I have ever attempted to eat in my life! I say attempted to because the food was totally inedible! It does not matter what we ordered because everything was absolutely horrible! We tossed everything and were very happy with our peanut butter sandwiches and delicious, sweet Florida strawberries.
