Not feeling well today and the only thing that sounded good was some soup and shrimp egg rolls. So good. The hot and sour soup is awesome and loaded with tofu, egg, mushrooms etc. with the perfect amount of spice. And the shrimp egg rolls were excellent as always. Sloppy packaging of delivery, sauce all over the bag, it was a mess. I cannot fault the delivery driver because I don't think it was his fault. If you staple shut the styrofoam container of course the sauce will leak on the sides. read more

Ordered the General Tso's Chicken lunch special with a side of krab rangoon wontons. Also had an egg roll. Everything was freshly prepared. Was hot even after I drove home. Huge portion for a fair price. Rangoons had a lot of filling in them. Owners were quick to take my order and food was ready fast. As to COVID, there is a plexiglass glass window from the counter to the ceiling. They take your order over an intercom type of system. Put your payment through a secure box. They provide the food through the same secure box. The restaurant is clean. There is ZERO dine in for the time being. Social distancing strictly enforced. Will definitely return. read more

35 minutes from when I placed my order to the point the food was ready. Some of it was ready in the first ten minutes. It appeared as though they would complete one dish then realize there were a few items missing. I was also the only one there and get there fifteen minutes after opening. Chicken wings- heavily breaded and saturated in grease. Not a fan of breaded anyways but especially not heavily. Beef lo mean - was alright. Vegetables and noodles were good the beef was too tender with no bite to it. Pork egg roll - this was the only thing that was good above average. Boneless spear ribs- not cooked to what I prefer. They must have just fried it as it was saucy. I like mine broiled so it carmelizes the sauce and renders the fat. There was no blackening on these. Normally this is a three star type experience average food that took way too long however I am concerned about food preparation. The lady that takes the orders / handles cash was also the fry cook. Would go to the fridge get an already open container of chicken wings with tongs already in them and not use gloves or wash her hands. She then handles all your containers / bag etc. this is not how food should be handled. They do seem to get busy as the phone was ringing off the hook so some must live it but I will not be back. read more

Food is pretty nasty. Ordered chicken fried rice that was basically yellow rice with chicken and it tasted like nothing. Egg rolls were super greasy. Ordered a few other meals and to be honest it just didnt taste good. Delivery guy was rude and didn't tell me before hand they didn't take card & we got no fortune cookies. For food that doesn't taste good & only ordered two meals $30 is kinda of pricey in my opinion. read more

Don't like to give neg reviews. Unfortunately the food could not be blander. The food was fresh. White meat chicken as well as the veggies were good. But again flavorless. Spicy dishes were not spicy at all. Krab fried wontons were way over cooked with very little anything in them. Bummer because the staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and it's close to our new home. I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunate it didn't cut it in flavor or in the authenticity. read more

I'm updating my previous review because they now have new ownership. Today I ordered General Tso chicken and steamed dumplings my condos are literally across the street from the shopping center the chicken was cold and about an hour and a half after eating the meal which I couldn't even get most of it eaten I spent the last half-hour throwing up I do not recommend this location any longer since it is under new ownership it is completely different they must be cutting Corners it's horrible and I'm going to be reporting them to the health department because there's no possible way that they cook this chicken all the way through do not order from here read more

I have to say this place still consistently pumps out fantastic food. They put so much care into their food. I still love the bourbon chicken. And even something as simple as wonton soup is so flavorful and delicious. I also had the crab Rangoon which was awesome. Pork lo mein was full of veggies too! I was so sad when they were closed down due to the hurricane. So glad they are back! read more

I went here expecting generic American Chinese food. The menu looked the same as every other Chinese takeout place I've been. The food however was anything but generic. Hands down the best shrimp toast I've ever had. The veggie fried rice had full size broccoli spears, along with other vegetables. I'm used to veggie fried rice having a few carrot cubes. Not here. The flavor was great too. My honey chicken was fried to perfection, nice and crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Mom says the shrimp egg roll was great, but she refused to share. I'll have to get my own next time, and it will definitely be soon. read more

Ordered lunch specials, first time trying it. Garlic shrimp was very good, with large portion and nice sized shrimp. Egg drop soup was good, not salty. Vegetable stir fry was loaded with large pieces of fresh veggies, also nice portion. General Tso's, ordered all white meat, wasn't too spicy. Bourbon chicken wasn't breaded nor fried, but good flavor. Egg rolls were good. Carry out was ready in under 15 minutes! Restaurant is very clean. Staff polite and turning out food. This restaurant has failed to give me on two separate occasions sweet and sour sauce when I've ordered sweet and sour chicken or pork. It's a main ingredient for the item and they can't even remember to pack it with your order! They've lost a customer! read more

So disappointed!!!!! We used to go there at their old location and they were in but slacked a little right before they closed. Now, newly opened at new location: didn't get our order right, had to go back and still didn't get the right stuff. The food tasted very bland. Mei fun noodles were actually lo mein and tasted fishy but no shrimp were visible in the dish. Beef lo mein tasted like cardboard. Hot and sour soup was never hot not sour and tasted like water. They veggies inside seemed fresh but just not seasoned at all. We will NOT return as we have plenty of way better alternatives in the area. read more

Who knew the best chinese food in the area was hiding away in this little strip mall? Everything I ordered was on point. Boneless spare ribs covered in sauce and yet crispy, egg rolls with whole mini shrimps inside, krab rangoon bursting with cream cheese mix, and the fried wings were golden fried and juicy. china 1 became my go-to chinese fast food place when i "discovered" it with a friend a few yrs ago. it definitely helps that i live almost around the corner from them, but in other ways they are quite convenient, too they are, for example, open until 10 every night for late dinners or cravings. their general tso's chicken, which my friend ordered a lot, is consistently well-spiced and satisfying. i usually get that these days but have enjoyed several other other choices as well, including their vegetable medley and the chicken & cashew. the only dish i didn't like was their orange chicken, which they batter dip and fry without much of the typical sweet sauce to go with it. the portions and prices are definitely right; in fact, 1 lunch special will do me for 2 meals. (my appetite can be on the smaller side sometimes, tho.) the staff can have that abrupt-seeming chinese speaking style. but i have gotten used to them and they actually make me chuckle. i will miss them when i move away soon. you guys wanna expand to virginia?? ;) read more
