This place has changed hands multiple times. This is just OK. I don't think it's anything spectacular super greasy and not super hot at all and the cold items are very cold.. Service completely stopped. She brought one silverware sat, and I told her there were two people, and she never came back with another silverware set so I was on the hunt to find a plastic set which I did.. I absolutely loved it so much. I think it was $38 for two people for dinner. read more

There are many ways to skin a cat. This place tried and failed all of them. Cat and pigeon. Quite literally four people in the whole place with rubbery rancid food that has sat for at least all day, likely reheated throughout the week. I even got brought the check before half through a plate of garbage I had no intention of finishing. I asked for a refill and was brought less than half a glass as if she knew and wanted to tell me without google translate "yeah it's bad, I know. You should go before destroying our bathroom." This was so bad I made two posts. If you've read this far: Just. Don't. Go. read more

Nothing special at all. Service crappy. I don't think there was a bathroom. Expensive for what I got. The smorgasbord was just ok. read more

recently visited the place from Las Vegas and when you start to serve yourself more than one plate of food the staff begins to bring you the bill to imply that it is time to leave and not eat anymore, a rather unpleasant activity since we are customers and pay for the food at the restaurant. place. I do not recommend this place either for its menu or for service. Very bud costume serv read more

Food was cold and stale, with limited fresh options. Staff was inattentive--plates piled up, and drink refills took forever. Definitely not worth the price. Wouldn't come back. read more

It's wild to me how every time I come in this establishment the server lady is nothing but rude but today she took it to a new low, my friend came here to eat with his nephew after they had worked hard all day. The kid had accidentally dropped over $80 in the seat and the server took it and acted like she didn't know what they were talking about then they charged them for his wife who hadn't even eaten she is a despicable person and deserves to be fired!!! read more

12-27-2024 Friday night about 6:30 pm Only about 1/4 of it's tables were occupied. My wife and I have not eaten there since before COVID, when it was the Golden Wok...Now has Hibachi in its name. Everything appeared neat at clean. The same tables and chairs were re-arrange, yet very clean appearing. The food was okay. I don't each Shushi by my wife enjoyed it. Some HOG of a guy customer TOOK ALL THE FULL CRAB CLUSTERS! Management should BETTER REGULATE CRAB PIGS! We will probably return at some point, maybe when, like this time, we have a sudden and unexplainable urge for Chinese food. read more

An average Chinese buffet. $11.99 for lunch with hardly any selection. Not even fried chicken wings. So why 1 star instead of 3? They charged my 2 year old $3.99 and tacked on a $3 "service fee". Neither were disclosed before we ate. We were just passing through so won't be back. I just wanted you all to know. read more

I'm new to largo and I was in the mood for a Chinese buffet. This one looked OK on yelp so I tried it. And That's right it is just OK nothing spectacular. Not a very good variety. The crawfish were soggy. On a positive note the staff was excellent and it was very clean. Price was right and convenient location read more

First off this place is NASTY! The floor was so slippery customers have to take baby steps so they do not slip and fall (possible law suite) which tells me the kitchen must be extremely dirty as well. A good portion of the food was cold and not kept hot and is a food code violation. (Lucky I did not get food poisoning) Overall I could not find anything here worth eating and I would easily rate this place as the worst Chinese buffet in Pinellas county. I am not sure how a restaurant can be so bad but I assume they do not care about quality and are too lazy to keep the place clean and safe. All I can say is eat at your own risk. read more

Save your money and go somewhere else. The food selection is very limited. The food has no flavor and is lacking quality. Panda express is better than this place. Very disappointed with a small selection of food and the lack of flavor. Very low quality food. Will never be back. read more

This is the worst Chinese buffet! The owner is hateful and rude she was also my waitress until I told the other lady to not have her come back to my table! ! the food is awful all they have is chicken on the bar except the salmon which I was there an hour and a half and they never put it out it took forever to get the fried shrimp out... Other people were complaining saying this used to be a good place but all they want to serve is cheap food and the few items they have like salmon or shrimp they won't put out they leave the empty areas to show they had a little bit out do not waste your money it's 17 something a person and it's not worth it! read more

It's has been years since we had stopped by but we thought we should give it another chance. The interior had not changed since our last visit. We were greeted, seated and then sent to our task...to eat mass quantities of food. I always start with the sushi area and to my surprise it was all being made fresh right before my eyes. Most buffets have the huge trays of day old or older sushi but not here. They also have a basic salad bar. However, we are long-time buffet aficionados, and as such, know that you don't get your money's worth eating from the salad bar. The hot and sour soup was very good. The fried foods were OK. I completely avoided any of the starches offered because I focused on the proteins. A surprising good dish was their tempura shrimp in mayonnaise. I know, it sounds odd but give it a try. The desserts were the standard fare. Several plates later, we threw in the towel and decided to go. The waitstaff was friendly and speedy with the iced tea refills. The biggest reason to give them a try is that it is an inexpensive lunch or dinner. My lunch was $7.50 plus iced tea. I will come back at some time in the future because even though it wasn't great, it wasn't bad. read more

The wife wanted Chinese last week, so we went through the list looking for a place, we wanted a sit down buffet. This was close by. I didn't want to go there because I didn't like the food , but we went , come to find out it was under new management. The food was great will go back . read more

We got there probably an hour before closing we thought we wouldn't have much to choose from but we did everything was delicious fresh they were so nice definitely will be back read more

Just ate there all the meat was tough. I definitely don't recommend cost was 34 dollars for 2 buffets.

Came here after seeing the reviews on yelp overall not impressed the only reason I'm giving 3 is because of the decor, home town ambience, comfortability, and service which was all exceptional. I felt very comfortable walking in and service was great However the food was sub-par which is what I would expect however these yelp reviews had my hopes up the food I tried was all very disappointing. The sushi was ok but not what I consider "professional". The desserts were all old I could tell from the staleness of the creme puffs and red velvet cake they had sat for awhile. The tea was not fresh. For 6.99 you get what u pay for food is 2 stars comfortablilty/service/ambience is 4. Same food as hibachi defintaley if your looking for a cheaper alternative there almost identical in food options and quality is a lil lower. I like this resteraunt but might only come here 1 or 2 more times this year max. I'll get my sushi from Public and Jewels haha (jewels sushi is phenomenal, best I've had) read more

A coworker suggested I try this place since they offer a lunch buffet for $5.99 during the week which sounds great right? Let's just say this place is EXTREMELY far from having great food. I knew that since it was a Sunday the deal most likely would not be honored but I really wanted to try this place out. I opted for the to go option, in which they price the food by the pound since I was in a rush. In my opinion everything I put in my to go box tasted old and reheated from the previous day. The guy who cashed me out was also kind of rude when he noticed I did not want the buffet. When I asked for a cup of water he tried to charge me the price of a soft drink!? I gladly declined the water and paid $8.23 for my plate of trash! read more

This is the best and cleanest Chinese buffet I've ever eaten. The variety is not your typical buffet. It is all Chinese, no traditional American food. However there is Japanese type foods. Fresh made sushi and sashimi, made to order a tier fry. You choose the items for the stir fry. There are sauces and spices to choose from such as eel sauce, hot mustard and typical sauces seen at most Chinese restaurants. Not much for salad but who wants that with all the vegetables they serve. The dessert buffet is plentiful but tasteless sweets. Who is going to a buffet for dessert anyway . Stop in you will not be disappointed. read more

This place is so bad they should shut down , ate here today and although the service was alright the food is just God awful. The food was not at the right temperature and there were various items that were old like literally the corn was BROWN like burnt and been in there too long and the rice was crispy hard plus not a lot of choices and literally the music was torture. Came here for vacation and craved some Chinese food but this place definitely killed my cravings for awhile. I should've listened to the reviews before trying this place out. read more

The food doesn't have much flavor if any but I'm giving it 5 stars because it's got the best hot and.sour soup I've tasted and the majority of the staff is very friendly and helpful...the weird part is the to go soup. I go there almost everyday and usually the cost for LG hot and sour is around 8 dollars but today the owner rang it up and charged me 12 dollars for a lg soup to.go ..I guess i.should.have said something.. read more

The five stars is for the service, I witnessed the only woman working there walk up to an older gentleman with a walker multiple times to help him out without being asked. The food was mostly good and hot. PS. Sorry to the lady whose hair I got jello in on accident read more

My work buddies and I traveled out of our way for lunch based on the reviews here and were looking for something different. The chicken was soggy, the shrimp smelled old and the unsweet tea was just not fresh at all. There were tons of choices however, which is surprising for lunch, but I'm not sure they have the regular crowd coming through to support all this food just sitting there. One of the redeeming qualities of this place was the sushi station which was pretty impressive for a lunch buffet. They had more than I expected..and by that I mean not just a bagel roll and a california roll...but actually some tempura rolls and some really good looking fish wrapped in them. Oh, also had a bug of some sort crawl across our booth-length against the wall we were sitting at. read more

Absolutely awful food and that's all I'll say. My standards for buffet food are probably low compared to the majority. I don't like expressing negative opinions online, I'd much rather give praise. But if a restaurant can't maintain proper temperatures for buffet food, it's only a matter of a short time before ownership changes. read more

Perplexed at the mostly 5 star vs 1 star reviews. Lopsided leads one to believe management might be the issue. We were there yesterday 1:30 and any pathetic little food scraps left on the buffet were only warm or cold. 20 minutes later hot food started coming out of the kitchen..... but too slow for us to wait longer. Not willing to ever come back for a second try mainly because of the little boy greeting us and then the overly hyped lady rushing us to be seated and then leaving us. Awful Awful read more

My girlfriend & I consider ourselves buffett connoisseurs & consider this place the gold standard for freshly prepared Chinese buffet. The sushi bar is always staffed with this awesome sushi chef that prepares everything fresh right before your eyes! We have eaten at most every local chinese buffet in the area & consistently rate this the very best Chinese buffet in St. Petersburg. The interior is pleasant & comfortable. The wait staff is always attentive & eager to make your visit a positive experience. We are both cooks & are very particular where & what we will eat...this place is a great choice to go for a huge variety Of freshly cooked Chinese buffet food. Love this place! Highly recommended. read more

This is just not a good buffet. I've tried the place twice now to see if maybe it was just a bad day, but no, both times just horrible. They don't keep the food stocked. Most of the food on the buffet was cold. The over all place is just run down and not well taken care of. Do yourself a favor and just avoid this place. read more

While out for a day of shopping, my family decided we wanted Chinese food. Chinese buffets are very hard to find in the area, so I was excited to find one that had some pretty good reviews. We headed over to largo to try out Golden Wok. They actually have a pretty decent selection of food, and while it wasn't the best buffet food, it was okay. My real problem was the service. I guess the waitress assumed that because she was wearing a mask we wouldn't be able to see her snarl her lips and roll her eyes when we asked for drink refills. I really don't like leaving bad reviews and it's rare that the service would be so bad that I feel compelled to do so, but this was definitely one of those situations. There was so much attitude coming from staff that I just wonder why they're even open and why they showed up to work. I will definitely not be back. Mediocre buffet food combined with really poor service is a non-starter. read more

First of all I do not recommend this place to anyone .... there service was horrible... they had attitude every time I ask a question ... and there expensive if any child eats off there parents plates or even if they look at the plate smell the plate they will charge you ....also there food was dry and there water tasted like it came from the toilet I give no stars at all zero there horrible I will not be going there no more and there food was not labeled ‍ ......................................................... read more

One of the tastiest Chinese buffets I've ever been to. Owner is super friendly and caring. They want to make it a good experience for you. So glad they are very careful during the time right now of this pandemic. You will be provided gloves to get your food and only half of the room is open. Support your local business people! The food is super delicious, especially the sushi. It's super clean! Enjoy! read more

They always get my order right! Baby shrimp with broccoli is my favorite. Polite staff who always treats me right. I pick them over any other Chinese in the area read more

This is not a good buffet. The only redeeming qualites are that the service was excellent and I didn't have to worry about my sweet tea running out as it was always promptly replenished. That unfortunately was the highlight of my meal. Everything they serve is either flavorless, old and hard as a rock, or lukewarm. The sushi was abysmal. Didn't care to try the hibachi grill, but the selections were sparse. I get that things sit out during non peak hours and if there is not enough people to eat the food, some items tend to sit out longer, but someone needs to do a better job at managing the trays. I almost chipped a tooth on one of the chicken dishes as it was inedible. I have a different standard in reviewing Chinese buffets, and I let more slide in these establishments then traditional ones due to the quantity vs. quality scenario, but if there is nothing to draw me in for a repeat visit, I tend to erase it from the mental roladex. Hard pass for a repeat visit. Hard pass. read more

We ate as a family for lunch and I immediately noticed the very welcoming and calm interior of the restaurant. Even though as of today COVID isn't as threatening as it used to be, they still had many features for those who were concerned. We were quickly seated and went to search the variety of foods that they had. There variety of fish, chicken, and rice were kept very organized and cooked fully while retaining their flavors. Their sushi was also very adequate. They had very limited staff when I was seated but even so they were extremely polite and visited our table regularly. I highly recommend this buffet and would visit again read more
