Stopped in for a last minute dinner pick up. We ordered the orange chicken and moo goo gai pan with brown sauce. Both were dinner combos. The egg rolls were ok, not my favorite, but nothing a little hot mustard and duck sauce couldn't fix. Food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The service was friendly and helpful with our questions. My partner and I moved to a house not far from China 88 and we were looking for some good soup/ Chinese items. When I tell you that we have now become old people and have proclaimed at least once a week to be "soup day" so we can have this soup, you KNOW it's good. He always orders the Egg Drop soup and I always order the Wonton soup. We typically also get an order of dumplings to share. With the soup and dumplings, we always have some leftovers and you wouldn't think you would! The soup is never too salty, the wontons are perfect and the meat is so delicious inside. We will be trying other things, but when you found something you love, it's hard to veer away from perfection! Thisnlittlenspotbisbexactly what I have been searching for month. I LOVE this place!!! It is a little whole in the wall type place. You can tell it is a mom and pop place as mom and pop are the only two employees that work there. It is carry out only as of this writing. They are friendly (short and efficient, but friendly enough). They do cater to custom requests (I add tofu to every dish I eat). Last week, I got the General Tso's Tofu. It was probably the best cooked tofu in my life. After trying an entree and seeing my partner's food look so delicious, I went ahead and got some new items today: -spring rolls - these are definitely hit or miss at a Chinese restaurant but here they are definitely worth the money - hot and sour soup - vegetarian - BEST hot and sour soup in my life. I'm ordering a vat the next time I go. -mixed vegetables with garlic sauce - very good. The sauce is slightly on the sweet side for me, but I know some people would find it spicy. read more

I ordered a lunch special of chicken egg foo young. It was reasonable priced at $8.50. The entree was two nice sized patties and it came with fried rice and an egg roll. The egg foo young was bland, the eggs did not seem like regular eggs, perhaps they use an egg substitute, the chicken was scarce but when I did find what I thought was chicken, it was stringy and no taste. I ate half of one patty and tossed the rest. The fried rice was rubbery and little flavor. Perhaps other dishes are better or I just got a bad one. The staff was pleasant. read more

I quit going here about 1 year ago. The last time we tried it our fried rice came out yellow like Mexican rice. Chinese fried rice should NEVER be a yellow/orange color. Not sure what happened but we found a new chinese spot that we go to now. read more

Would not suggest crab rangoons, there's very little, if any at all in them, and the soups are not good either.

Ordered General Tso's chicken and it was rubbery and gummy...made with leftover chicken parts it seems. Not chicken breasts.....will never order again. read more

Well Florida.. we finally did it. We got decent Chinese food. It took, well forever, but it's finally here. Tried the General Tso's and Orange chicken, both pretty damn good. Rice was on point. Egg rolls, while nuclear hot for a period of time that almost didn't add up scientifically, very good. We'll be back, and you should too. Food tastes ok (definitely not great Chinese food - just passable for takeout) but owner / counter service is so rude that I'd never go back. Simply asking if there were any tofu dishes paired w meat for instead of veggies, they jumped down my throat that this would cost more (duhhh). Finally, they sold me the $8 vegetarian tofu dish that's supposed to be quart-size. Instead, I got this tiny plastic container, about 1" deep and barely longer than the plastic fork. Cant believe there are no reviews. Best general tsos we've had in the area. Crunchy, not too bready, best flavor. Also got the Mongolian beef, which was also great, veggies were a lil overcooked but flavor was awesome. Egg rolls were cooked well, not greasy. Hot and sour had a good fresg flavor, and veggies had a crunch(good stuff), but it was missing the hot, i even ordered extra spicy. I will be ordering again, for sure. I can't say enough good things about this place! Along with another review, I'm so happy to finally have good Chinese in the area! We've been waiting for you. Everything gets 5 stars. We got wonton soup, steamed dumplings (incredible), crab Rangoon, beef with mixed vegetables, sweet and sour chicken and bourbon chicken (so gooooood!). Everything was excellent! Food wasn't very good at all. Fried rice was very bland. Beef teriyaki was dry and tough. Ended up throwing most of it in trash. Not to mention the woman at counter was very rude and the place looked very dirty. Will not return there again. read more

I go to this place because it's close to my house and they are quick. Like most Chinese places, the customer service is horrible. The food is decent. I like their wings and pork fried rice. Broccoli dishes are good too but not enough sauce. They do keep the place clean and enforcing the 6 feet distancing. read more

I ordered the shrimp egg fo young combo. I asked that they put bean sprouts in my fried rice. I don't like my egg fo young dark or burnt. No problem. My food was delicious. So i ordered the bourbon (shimp) lunch special and combo wonton egg drop soup, go inside to pick up and the price was $10 and change so as i hand the lady at the counter $11 i ask if she had and chili sauce so she puts my change that she was going to hand me back in the drawer as she hands me the sauce(whatever) and then i look in the bag and state no coke inside as i asked (because you either get egg roll or coke with the lunch special) and she says i put egg roll in bag and i just shrug and it's alright i'll eat the egg roll, so i go back to work (about a block away) and start unpacking the contents and see that there is no egg roll as she said in the container, so now i realized that she just lied and if i wasn't only a block away i would have just let it go but i thought she lied on purpose and so i go back and tell her that there was no egg roll in the bag and she shrugs and rolls her eyes and says get your coke (wow really) she knew that she didn't put in bag, they lost some business today because the food was actually pretty good but i can't go back with that kind of attitude. Oh and by the way they gave me bourbon chicken instead of the shrimp as i ordered, so beware when ordering and check EVERYTHING before you leave. read more
