Brought friends to The Asian Pearl it was on The Money. Delicious as always. Best Chinese in Tampa Bay Area!

Been coming here since their previous location, and while the food used to be a little better back then, it's still one of my go-to Chinese spots in the Clearwater/Largo area. The new location is definitely smaller and can get very busy, especially with all the to-go orders coming through, so service and wait times can vary. Still, the food is solid, portions are good, and it's a reliable choice when I'm craving Chinese food.

This was kind of a mixed bag. The spring rolls are delicious, crunchy and the filling is soft and flavorful. The beef chow fun, the meat tastes great and the bean sprouts are crunchy, but the noodles are bland and need something, there's no umami but the beef has it.. The Singapore noodles just taste of low heat rather than curry. It's my first time eating here so maybe I ordered on an off night.

After a very long hiatus, a move to a new location, a long and challenging build out, and much much effort, Asian Pearl is open again for business! Tonight is opening night! The sign out front is on! The parking lot is dark! Tina is back taking orders! Be patient as they ramp back up! Life is good and food is delicious with Asian Pearl!

Must get the fresh stirfry eggplant in the spicy sauce. It's absolutely incredible. I haven't been to this place in a while since they had closed to relocate to this newer location however, now I remember why I never got the beef ciao fun because the seafood ciao fun or xo sauce is much much better so I will keep that in mind the next time when I arrive. The general Tsos is always very delicious. The portions here are very large each plate could feed four or five people alone. That's why I like to get the sauce on the side so then I could reheat it in a toaster oven later and dip it in the sauce as if I was still in the restaurant it will still be that good. The best Chinese restaurant in the area, located in Clearwater.

Yay they're back at their new location!! Still the same great flavors & taste. Ordered our favorites. Food always served fresh and piping out. Service is always friendly and despite it being a very busy night, waiters were all accommodating. One of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in the area. Came on a busy night with multiple tables eagerly waiting. One downside is that this is a smaller place with fewer tables, but hoping they can expand again one day which they'd certainly benefit from! Looking forward to our next meal here!

I was happy to see that Asian Pearl back open. However, the food did not taste the same, especially the Mongolian beef. That's one of the things that I order every single time they added a lot of vegetables and meat was different.. Service was still great. And the overall ambiance was nice as well. But I really do miss the other location where we had the spinning table tops to share food. It just really gave that authentic Chinese restaurant. The locations parking lot is a little bit difficult in reference to parking and the overall appearance. There was also several other items that we ordered that was just okay. Nothing but at this moment would really make me want to come back but since they've been open about a month or two I will give them some more time to see if they're going to bring their standard up. Based on taste Mongolian beef give this 2 stars. When they served Mongolian beef before there was no vegetables with the beef. Bbq pork give this 2 stars a lot of the pieces were dry. And this is an item that we sent back and showed the waitress House fried rice was the best item that we ordered that day which I will give this 5 stars .

It was crazy hot so we couldn't sit on the patio but at sunset it was still a stunning view. Kalby was an absolute pleasure to be serviced by. She was attentive and used her talents to help recommend entrees from the menu. Our starter was the bulgogi skewers which were perfectly balanced with sweet and Korean spice. The edamame was our least favorite dish. I did discuss this with kalby and the manager. The idea was there but poor execution. The gochujang sea salt...the gochujang just wasn't there and once you ate that top layer all you got was oily edamame, so much oil...you wouldn't need chapstick for the rest of the day. Then wins though came from the cocktails. Ours were delicious and my old fashion was spot on. Also in the win was the sunset sushi, beautiful and fantastic, along with Korean crispy chicken. The peanut sauce was the perfect balance to that meal. Now...what we also loved that should be permanently on the menu was the mochi. We had 4 of them and they were wonderful! Everyone should be able to experience these. But ocean hai on your list as a must try place for sure.

We had the nicest table right on the patio overlooking the beach and it was fantastic. Our server was pleasant when she was around, but it seemed like she went missing for long periods of time and always right when we seemed to need something. Service was generally slow and the restaurant wasn't super busy when we were there. Food was mediocre at best. We started with the bulgogi beef skewers and the ahi tuna apps. The skewers were sort of dry and chewy...and I don't know that they tasted like bolgogi. The tuna tartar app tasted heavily of lime and nothing else and the cuts on the tuna were pretty messy and made it a bit difficult to eat. The grouper entree was okay, but the piece of fish I got looked like a baseball in that it was thick and sort of round? It made it just kind of tough and overcooked on the outside and a little undercooked on the inside. The chicken fried rice was good, but nothing to write home about.

The brussel sprouts appetizer is HUGE. It was double the size I have received at other places, so took some back to the hotel for leftovers. They also came with a tasty dipping sauce that was unique as well. The Caesar salad was neutral; no strong flavor yet not distasteful. No anchovies taste either. I could take it or leave it. The filet steak was tender served over some mashed potatoes and thick asparagus wrapped in salty, yummy bacon. Breakfast pizza was surprisingly great and enough for two people to split. Service at breakfast was fantastic. The coffee was always flowing and the servers were always smiling. The atmosphere and ambience are OK. I don't love the vibe, as it felt like a dated dining room experience. But Food was still great. The potatoes were roasted to perfection and salted, so good! The chorizo breakfast crepes were also delicious! The crepes were light, and flavorful the eggs, chorizo, cheese and side of sauces were perfect and was just filling enough not to be heavy. My dates lobster Brie Bennie was delicious as well, their only complaint was the water crest they added as a garnish atop the sandwich which she easily picked off. The site says 7pm so we got back to our hotel and immediately drove to this place. It was around 6pm when we got there and the sign says food was sold out. We were heart broken and hungry.
