Love brining our out of town guests here ! It is more than a meal it is a fun experience that gets everyone involved ! The seafood and the flavorings used are very delicious and keeps us coming back ! Staff is helpful when it comes to deciding what is enough food to order for our large group. Restaurant is large and has plenty of room for large groups !
- garlic bread was ok.. it was a fried bread which i wasn't expecting - mr and ms crab sauce was too salty for me - medium spice wasn't that spicy despite the menu saying their spice is spicer than other restaurants - service was great - causal ambiance - overall, ok!
Accidentally hit the Mr. and Mrs. Crab in St. Pete, to check in, the one here in Clearwater is the one we frequent and it never disappoints... We love the M & M C special seasoning and always order it... Service is wonderful and we will keep the on coming back for their delectable treasures from the sea...
This place was very cutely decorated inside. Very clean and I think it is a new place. Our server was very friendly and patient. We got the seafood boil for 2-3 people and added a 1/2lb of crab legs. This was plenty for me and my three children. I do recommend if you have someone in the party that can not handle spice do not spice. We did the mild and it was still pretty spicy. My youngest would not eat it due to the spice. He had the kids chicken nuggets and fries. The nuggets were very good and fresh. The hush puppies were not what I was expecting but they were ok.
Came here after a day at the beach with my family. We were ready to eat! I liked how cool and spacious the space is. For three people, we got half a pound of sausage and 3 pounds of crawfish in their signature sauce. We asked our server for his spice recommendation and he said he liked spice so "hot" is as much as he'll go. We barely tasted any spicy in our "hot" boil so for Asian spice, I'd recommend "extra hot." The included potatoes and corn were a nice add. The corn was super sweet! The seasoning was extremely salty. Thank goodness some potatoes were added. Overall I usually love spice and garlic but the salt overload here was overpowering. We also got raw oysters of varying sizes and fried oysters which were a nice snack. The cajun fries barely had any spice on them and didn't taste Cajun, more like regular fries. For drinks we got the Shipwrecked. It separated pretty quickly though; wish it remained a smoothie longer. Our server was friendly and checked up on us often. They give out a big spice bottle for every $99 spent so we got two! All in all in terms of food I wouldn't come back as their boil left much to be desired but it was a decent experience! One note: There was water spilled on the floor with big puddle and I almost twisted my ankle + slipped and fell. It was left for a while before any sign was put--until I almost fell. They should put a sign as soon as the spill happens because someone else could've got hurt if not me.
Good food, great drinks, and a chill vibe all around. The crab, corn, and potatoes combo? Chef's kiss -- I'm still thinking about it. Plus, the service was on point -- friendly, fast, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely pulling up again soon.
Very solid place for Viet style crawfish and seafood boil! While standard Cajun seafood boil leans heavily on the cayenne pepper and other spices, Viet crawfish boil also utilizes a heavy dose of garlic and ginger to add an additional Asian twist. I got the seafood boil plater, which has corn, sausages, shrimp, and crab legs. It was delicious, with lots of flavor and well cooked seafood. The shrimp was not overcooked, nor was the mussels. The crab legs soaked up all of the flavor from the seasoning. Service it self was fast and efficient. The ambiance was good as well. This location is much more spacious compared to other locations in the area. Overall, very solid place. While it can be a bit pricy and you may not be completely full after the meal, the experience was solid and worth coming to with a good group of friends :)
Had a fantastic time at Mr and Mrs Crab place! We went on a weekday late afternoon and we were seated right away. The inside is clean and well-decorated (the way to the bathroom is very pretty!!). Our server Brionna was very welcoming and attentive! While we were waiting for our food a worker offered us a free postcard and took pictures of us. We loved it and took one home (we paid $20). Food: 5/5 - #Crabfam Classic $39.95: this combo came with snow crab legs, head off shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes. We also added boiled eggs for $1.50 each. This was packed with so much flavor! They also did not skimp on the sauce which we loved. 2/5 - regular fries $5.95: Crunchy and fresh but fell off in flavor. Would recommend ordering something else.
Felt like having some crab boil for dinner. Wife and I decided to come here for dinner. Food was great. That's Mr & Mrs Crab sauce mild) is delish. Both of us are stuffed after eating. It is a little bit loud due a couple of large parties. Which would have been fine had the choice of music they had playing. It was a tidbit loud also. The music they had playing was a mixture of heavy metal music, rap, oldies and some other music genre playing at medium high volume. My wife and I had a hard time talking while waiting. Other than that all was great our waitress was great she was super busy but she handled all her table well. our overall experience is a 4 star due to very loud music.
As a seafood boil enthusiast/ expert with 5 years of tearing up a good ole southern boil this spot has definitely made my list. The sauce had the perfect butter to seasoning ratio and the medium spice level definitely held its own. The shrimps were the perfect size and the sausages were nice n juice. Our waitress made sure we had an enjoyable experience even though we came right before closing . Will definitely stop by again !

We were in the mood for a seafood boil and this was our choice based on previous reviews. Interior decor was very beach vibes and set the tone for the meal. Service was great and super attentive. We started with the hush puppies, which were good. Definitely not the best, but they were still good. They came with a side of ranch. Out came the seafood boil, we ordered two one of their standard boils and then I did a customer boil with crab legs and sausage. We both added boiled eggs to ours and went with the mild spice level and Mr. And Mrs. Crab seasoning. They bring out a bib, gloves and a discard bucket when you order the boils. Overall, I thought it was pretty good. Again, not the best I've had but it satisfied our craving. My girlfriend thought it was delicious and was making sure to soak everything up in the sauce, haha. One thing I noticed was the crab was lacking on some of the legs, not as meaty. Not sure what caused that. Also, there was a bit of a funky after taste with the boil that I haven't encounter before. I don't know if it was the seasoning or the sauce. Just my personal opinion and others might think differently. Also, wasn't really a fan of the potatoes or the egg. Just tasted off to me. Overall, we had a good experience. Might return in the future to give it another shot. read more

Brought out of town friends here since they had never been to a boil in bag place before. We came at lunch and the lunch menu is a great price. I ordered the 1/2 lb blue mussels which were 7.55 at lunch with corn and potato. I picked the Mr. & Mrs. Crab Special seasoning and no spicy. This is really good and I love the flavor. My friend has the 1/2 no head shrimp and rest of family ordered under the something fried portion of the menu. At lunch time during the week, it is not busy. The service is helpful and efficient. Since I know I like their seasoning, I'd come Back another time especially with the lunch value. There is not much though for non seafood lovers - wings and nuggets, tenders, & a few side items. In terms of ambiance, it's nice and spacious, & sea life decorations, & the booths are huge! Don't forget your pics with the cute crab statues in front of the door. read more

we love a good crab boil. We need potatoes, kielbasa, corn, crab, Ramen, more crab, more potatoes more kielbasa more corn. so good! everyone who works here is always nice. I never had a bad experience. i've been here multiple times and other locations as well. they're also very festive. I feel like every time I go they've decorated the place based on the season or holiday. read more
Kids were craving seafood boil and this place delivers... nice atmosphere great service and reasonable prices. We got the family seafood platter and fed three of us nicely. Butter and garlic with medium spice was perfect for us. Can't wait to try their house seasoning next time. All and all you can't really miss here from the seafood to the sausage corn and potatoes, it all hits perfect. everyone in restaurant was happy some were even doing the happy dance while eating lol and very kid friendly too. Was visiting in Clearwater after a boat ride and looked up seafood restaurant in area. Very nice atmosphere and decorated nicely. Server was very nice. All the food was excellent and tasty. This is a must try for the family. The shrimp was deveined. The sauce was very good. read more

Came here for the lunch specials listed and was pleasantly surprised that they also have $2 draft beer. My server Dylan was very nice and actually gave me a new beer when I spilled mine. This will definitely be in my lunch routine. The only complaint I have, I felt that there wasnt 1/2lb of Crawfish in my bag and it was relatively tough. read more

We walked in around 1pm on a Saturday as a party of 5 and were seated immediately! The restaurant is really spacious with plenty of seating. Everything tasted really good here! The seafood boil is super flavorful - we got one cooked in the Mr. and Mrs. Crab house seasoning and a second in Garlic butter seasoning. Be careful when your food comes out because everything is piping hot! The service here is also worth mentioning. Our server, Dylan, had a super positive energy and checked up on us attentively. We accidentally left our credit card on the table and he even caught up to us in the parking lot to make sure we didn't leave without it! Overall, definitely would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for fresh seafood and friendly service. read more
Love this place! Great food, super friendly service. I have been here twice ordering the same food was served by the same person. I ordered the chief special, 1lb shrimp, 1/2 crawfish and 1/2 clams. It was a struggle but I alone finished it. The heat level is a step up from what you would expect as the menu states so take that into account. Chaz was the bartender and also took care of a few tables. He was attentive but not pushy. Checking every so often to make sure I was doing ok. Both while at the bar and at a table. It is primarily sea food so if that is not your thing you will want to look elsewhere. And it will be messy so either use the bib or don't wear good clothes. The full bar allowed me to try out the old fashion and it was very good. A must try. read more

At least the Cabbage was fresh... I wanted to like it, but it failed miserably... from the clam chowder, which came out in small paper cups, as opposed to a real bowl. It should have been called creme of potatoe soup bc it merely had abt 5-6 shrapnel size pieces of clam, shameful. While it had a basic decent flavor, it was totally underwhelming! In addition, the fried oysters had shrapnel size oysters barely detectable in the thickly crusted batter. They use packets of Texas Pete as opposed to hot sauce bottles. Lastly, the bathroom smells like a festival outhouse, although clean the stench was unbearable to the nose with a hint of an ambiguous floral cleanser that I pray I can get out of my nasel hairs very soon. Totally a failed lunch, would not recommend for True Seafood lovers. read more
My wife ordered online and specified spicy sauce. We zipped over there from Sprouts grocery (it's in the same plaza) to pick up the meal. The Mr and Mrs Crab building is quite large and has a zillion doors, which are all closed except for the main entrance on the south west side. Well, we parked to the east so I had a nice walk around the building to pick up the order. Greeting me were these huge crab statues at the open main entrance. You can't miss them! It turned out my wonderful wife had mistyped our phone number and they don't make your food unless they can contact you. Whoops! But, the pleasant hostess told us, I pressed the wrong button and we made your food anyway. Bam! Our food came out 1 minute later! We also got some Cajun fries which at least were crispy! I really hate soggy fries. I think next time we'll specify extra Cajun seasoning since they were pretty safe. Now, back to the seafood... My wife got shrimp and lobster with corn on the cob and she really enjoyed it. You can't eat a bag full of seafood and a large amount of sauce in the car so she consumed it at home. It's really a messy process to partake of this style of food so be prepared and don't wear your favorite outfit. Perhaps wear a waterproof rain coat ;-) The verdict is in. The food is fun and good and everyone in the restaurant looked to be enjoying the experience. Life is good with spicy seafood! read more
