Really cool casual vibe seafood joint at the marina. Service was friendly and timely and I appreciated the no reservation policy. The location was very nice, right on the water. I stopped in for lunch while visiting Dunedin for the weekend. The wait staff was very friendly snd even came over to give my dog a treat. The food was just ok. I ordered a crab roll and it was tiny, my wife had a burger and said it was fine but it was well done and she wasn't asked how she wanted it cooked. I just swung in for a quick pickup to take a snack to the Marina to sit and read awhile. I forgot to take pics but because I'm gluten intolerant, I just ordered a Shrimp Cocktail with horseradish and a green salad. Honestly, I wasn't expecting a lot because it was just a quick snack. The bartender was super friendly and happy doing her job! She made a few suggestions to accommodate my GF needs so I'll have more ideas for next time. Very cute place on the water and best kept secret to come here after the crazy Dunedin parades as it's a short walk away and never a long wait but shhhhh don't tell anyone. They make great drinks too like a margarita highly recommend. I got the burger wrap and I've gotten the Cuban sandwich before too. Went for lunch and got a seat along the railing overlooking the water. We put our name in as they were full, but our seats opened up within a minute or two. Good selection of beer and wine and menu selections of seafood and non-seafood items. I got the 6 oz. Mahi sandwich, and it was a beautiful chunk of fish with a great sauce and fresh veggies. Definitely needed my fork and napkins. My wife got the Shrimp Salad Wrap, and she said it was delicious. The dijonaise was a great accompaniment. Located right at the Dunedin Marina, literally a stone's throw from the Best Western Hotel, this was a wonderful spot for a quick, convenient, casual meal and/or lazy afternoon cocktails. We ate there twice, once as a group of nine and then as a smaller group of four. Both times, our orders were taken quickly and efficiently, wonderful service with a smile. Nothing "gourmet deluxe," but a PERFECT option if you're in the area and want a reasonably priced, DELICIOUS, locally-sourced (I assume...) meal. Give 'em a try if you're in the area!! read more

Wow Had a great Sat morning Vibe going, could go anywhere with in an hour drive..... We picked Olde Bat Cafe because we saw it looked deserving of a visit....Took out the new Car with the wife and drove the hour there, got there at 11:00 as we like to pick a nice place to park the Brand new SUV. Parked got out of car walked to the restaurant, it seemed like we might of been first there..... instantly the Karen there told me that I parked incorrectly, asked me to mive my car... I asked where she was Parked and of course it was a huge spot right in front guaranteed not to get a door ding... I only parked in the spot I did because she had taken the only good spot ip front Weird Usually employees park in the back, anyways at that point my wife slipped back into the car as the Mornings Vibe was totaled... We had a nice Brunch 100 yds away that was delightful and actually on the water..... So I couldnt tell you how their food was as Karen didn't even let me in the Door!!!! Several times we have enjoyed Fish Camp and looked forward to eating at Olde Bay. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT I'm sad to say. There were 5 in our group and no one was happy with their food. Burger was blah. Haddock was dry overcooked crab cake not good. Scallop wrap was okay. The service was good. Ambience was good. Paid for it. But it's first and last for us. Wanted to try safety harbor location but won't. I'm sure we will go back to fish camp in the future but will be skeptical. Fool me once shame on you! read more

This is a great little seafood spot right on the water in Dunedin. They have mostly outdoor seating in a few spots on the inside of this cozy dining establishment. Food is fresh and there are no fryers so don't expect any kind of fried foods, but the food you will get our delicious! Great selection of draft beers to wet the pallet, as well as some wines and sangrias as well.cocktails are also available as I do have a full liquor bar. This place is a little bit on the small side. You may have to wait a little bit, but that just gives you a reason to walk around the pier area while your table is prepped. read more

I'm gluten free which can be a pain however they are very accommodating. The view and prices are hard to beat in Florida. It's dog friendly too. My pup runs up the stairs to see his awaiting fans. i love this place. the food is always fresh and tasty, the service is always friendly, and the casual waterfront experience can't be beaten. i've eaten here several times and brought several out-of-town guests... it's so nice to be able to eat right on the water without paying an arm and a leg or getting fancy tiny entrees. everything we've tried has been delicious, particularly the grouper: it's fresh-caught, and you can tell for sure. it's so good. most recently, i also had the shrimp tacos, and i could literally eat them every day they were so tasty. the key lime slaw was like a little flavor bomb on top of the seasoned shrimp, and the avocado on top was the perfect hit of creaminess. so filling, so yummy. drinks are a bit expensive, but not necessary to enjoy the meal. this has been one of my favorite finds downtown and i'm happy to keep coming back. read more

Been here twice now with locals and its overpriced, poor quality and surly service. Note there is another listing of Dunedin Fish Market & Olde Bay Cafe which is the same place. I get why locals bring guests here, you can sit on the water and have food and drinks. They do have a good happy hour from 2-5 with a dollar off beers, and a nice taplist, but that's it for positives. On the first visit last year I got the market stone crab (I've had it at Joes in Miami so I know its expensive) and it was OK. The service was terrible, no refills, no splitting of checks for our group of 10, and really we only wanted 3 checks. We were handed a bill and a pencil and told we could figure it out ourselves and pay with one CC. Note they also charge exorbitant CC fees and don't tell you (it is on the bill I believe). While we were scrambling to total our bill the server stopped by twice to ask what was taking so long to pay! I'm 100% serious. Second visit last week (see pic). I got the market Mahi with Asian Noodles and vegetable. Mahi was cold, dry, rubbery, overcooked. As other recent reviews have noted the fish is not as fresh as it used to be. Vegetables were completely bland. no seasoning, no butter and also cold. Asian noodles were the highlight. Our server kept saying she would bring us waters but never did until well after the food was served. In summary, come here for the view or a beer but expect to overpay for mediocre food and harassing service. read more

Olde Bay was recommended by staff at the Dunedin visitor center so I gave it a try. It's a great location in the marina that's casual and has great views. My view came with a manatee that was also enjoying the area. Old Bay has a nice drink menu and I can recommend the vodka Paloma. Perfect on a hot day! Many fish dish options and I went with the blackened scallop wrap. It was excellent. Enjoy a walk around the marina and Main Street for an awesome day. read more
