This place kept coming up on my Facebook feed, so I decided to give it a try. The parking lot was tight for my truck almost all of the spaces were taken. When I entered, there was only one person waiting for food and the manager owner. Whoever told me that they only had takeout available because they didn't have a server. Then he stated that if I wanted to eat in, I could order in this eat at the table just nobody would be able to serve me. I said that was all right. He was nice enough. We didn't talked about whether I wanted hot sauce or not and I said yes I do. He brought out a bottle of their homemade hot sauce so I'm ready to go. I ordered two of the Birria Tacos with shrimp and a Birria quesadilla with shrimp. I have to say that the services really excellent the gentleman was very friendly open. Ask how my day was going. Ask what I was planning to do for the day. The food was around $33 and you can see the amount I got for that price. Well, now it's time to try it. Started with the tacos ate the first one just dipping it in the sauce and it was good then I added the hot sauce. They're special sauce and that has a hit to it. It is not too hot so that you can't eat it, but it will clear your sinuses I like it. Hot sauce is the way to go. both the quesadilla and tacos was great having a broth adds to the flavor plus with the tiny Ines of the hot sauce magnificent. The birria beef shank tacos were great! Packed with flavor and tender beef with a crispy exterior on the tortilla. The consommé broth was also a bit salty but had good flavor. The sofrito chicken and steak lacked flavor and also on the drier side. The rice & beans could also use some love as far as flavor goes. Hoping this was a one off situation and will be back to give them another go. As mentioned above, the birria tacos are top notch but had higher hopes on other items. I found this place on Instagram and it looked so good I couldn't resist! The inside is fairly small maybe half a dozen or so tables. When we got there it was empty but it was full by the time we left. Our server was a 10 out of 10! She was attentive and helped with some recommendations. We started with the beef empanadas which were delicious! The meat had a great flavor. They also have their own hot sauce which was really good. It had a fire roasted smokey flavor that went well with everything we ate. The Birria Burrito was a fun spin on a classic. I was not a huge fan of the Mexican street corn but it was okay. The Arroz Con Pollo though was very good. For dessert we had this week's special which was a cannoli filled empanada! This place is so great! The food seems to always get better which seems impossible because it is already soooooo good! They completed a redesign inside in the recent past so much better space for sitting inside. The empanadas are so so good and the sauce that comes with them is the best! Check out the specials as they change regularly. The service is always prompt and with a smile. It may be a small space inside but it is definitely packed with flavor and every bite you take. They've got a variety of drinks available. The desserts are wonderful too! The food is decent and I like their street tacos, like I used to get from some of the famous food truck experiences in LA, BUT the place is dirty every time I go there ! It needs a good deep clean. Tonight on Cinco de Mayo they put tables out in the parking lot and I waited about 45mins to get my two tacos. $20 Another thing is they charge for their very small salsa in a small condiment cup (2-3 tablespoons) and additionally if want another 2-3 Tablespoons more and the Saffron chicken was dry again. On Saturday, we gave Fusion Street a try. For me it was a foodie's paradise. The physical restaurant was basic & unassuming. The waitress was superb, & so friendly, helpful, & excellent at what she does. But, it of course always comes down to the food. The menu was composed of several nationalities of food. I recall Mexican, Peruvian, Chinese, Venezuelan, & Indian dishes. As a foodie I was drooling over the creative dishes being described in the menu. I finally settled on the Butter Chicken Ramen dish. I am a huge fan of Indian food. I excitedly can state this Butter Chicken was right on the mark & some of the best. So tasty, & combining it with ramen & naan bread was genius. My wife ordered a couple of arepas. The avocado chicken arepa was the star. It too was tasty & again hit the mark. The waitress let me try the store's homemade hot sauce, & it too was superb. I had seen a photo post online of some Birria quesadillas so I thought I would I stop by since they looked so delicious. It's a small unassuming spot in a strip mall off Patricia Ave that's a bit run down inside so I took it to go. It happened to be taco Tuesday which was only 70 cents off but they wanted $17 for a quesadilla so I went with the tacos. Sadly they weren't that great. And the photo was misleading which made it look deep fried with melted cheese on the outside which would have been bomb. Instead they were just regular street tacos and not very good ones. The Birria dip was good and their beef shank is pretty good but that's where it stops. For great street tacos I'll stick to my other favorite place on US19. Now if they offered shells made of cheese like I had in NY or deep fried them with cheese they might be on to something. For now this was a one and done for me read more

I can't even‍. Just wow. AAAAAA-MAZING. You can dip so much more than tacos into your birria and Fushion Street has 'em. Quesadillas, burgers, burritos, GRILLED CHEESE (you heard right). The birria was delicious perfection: beefy, flavorful, and not greasy. There are several choices - chicken, shrimp, steak- but you gotta do the beef shank. It literally melts in your mouth. They are doing everything right here. Thoughtful, interesting menu, caring and friendly people, incredible food. The place is tiny with just a few tables, one high top, and a few counter stools so expect it to be full up during peak times. You can call ahead to get an idea of how crowded it may be (no reservations). Beer & wine. I've been here several times and my favorite thing is the beef shank birria tacos. If I was rating, based off of those alone and their house made hot sauce, it would be five stars. There were some shining stars and some dull spots. Their guacamole was less than adequate. It didn't taste fresh was lacking seasoning. Their house made hot sauce is amazing. I literally used in place of salsa. Papas Rellenas you're super authentic, and one of the best I've ever had definitely recommend. The big disappointment was the birria ramen. The birria sauce itself is an explosion of flavor so I expected something flavorful for the ramen broth. I was very disappointed. I didn't eat it the noodles themselves were good. Found a new spot in a strip center in Dunedin. Fusion street eatery. It's close to downtown Dunedin. Parking is easy. But enough of location location location. We love anything birria and this spot popped up on FB because they spy on you. I'm glad they were spying on us this day because it lead us here. I really enjoy this place. It is fairly small, maybe 20 seats, but I want counting. The staff is so friendly. They have a good variety of beer, i.e., not just corona. We usually go with the tofu chorizo. Which typically good but often great, sometimes there isn't enough spice. Even so, we love it. The yucca is off the charts good. If you don't, at least try then you're doing yourself a disservice. The salsa is very good but isn't chunky if that is your thing. And if you are getting something that has a queso option, don't be stupid get that cheese. Vegetarians need to try this place. So good. read more

Tucked away in the unappealing plaza with limited parking is this local establishment. We got immediately seated on a weekday and were greeted by a friendly employee. Our beverages came out quickly. The food took a bit but we were in no rush and knew it would be hot off the grill. My better half got the Cuban. I had the Smashburger. The obvious side dish were French fries. Both of our sandwiches were good. The French fries were excellent. The only other customer ordered some type of Indian type dish and was ranting to the employee how good it was. You know those little "hole in the wall" places that you kick yourself for not trying sooner because it's so good and you've been missing out this whole time? Yeah, that's this place! Located on Patricia Ave in a small strip mall/plaza of sorts, the outside is quite unassuming. Look for the awning that has Fusion on it, across from Dunedin Lanes. Parking is a little limited as the discount beverage center and the Restorative both have reserved spots. Seating is also limited inside; 4 barstools, three tables along one wall, and a high top against the window. But you can order to-go if all the seats are filled, or wait it out; it's worth it! Our friend is obsessed with the birria tacos plus their chips and queso. He quickly got my boyfriend hooked on both; between the two of them, they tried the beef shank, the pork, and the chicken. All were great hits! I opted for the rice bowl they offer. I built mine up with the yellow rice, black beans, and pork - that pork is incredible! So juicy, a nice sweetness that wasn't overpowering, and pulled apart with ease. The bowl was a large size too; just half of it filled me up, so I've got leftovers for the next day too. We didn't have the space for dessert, but we did hear the server talk about some delicious empanadas with guava filling. Because there were so few tables, there was just one server for the whole place; she was covering the bar and the tables with ease, and we only waited for our food to cook. She was on top of it with drink orders, refills, getting food out, handling checks, processing to-go orders, and more, and she did it all with the outmost comfort and efficiency. Very impressed! The California burrito was very well seasoned and I'd come back just to eat it again! This place is amazing!! We've been ordering from here at least once a week if not twice due to some great specials. The arepas, birria & sauces are delicious. The arepas my favorite is the birria. The others were good as well. I had the yucca as my side. My husband had Parmesan fries. They could use a bit more seasoning but I'm sure they do things in moderation cause others don't care for a lot of seasoning. It's a small place in a strip mall. Service is quick & accurate. I suggest ordering online & picking up the order yourself. Their food is so fresh & flavorful. I want to try their butter chicken but I can't stop ordering the Birria... I used Uber eats to order a big bossin burrito. They don't have carnitas so I went ahead with the pulled pork. I found the whole thing pretty bland. if there were crema and queso fresco and cilantro inside as they described it, I didn't see or taste it. The "salsa" they delivered w chips they might as well have just said was tomato sauce. I don't have a problem spending money on food but this one just wasn't worth the $15. It certainly wasn't "big". Honestly probably one of the worse orders of wings I ever had! What's with the cabbage? Did you not have any carrots or celery for the side? The Parm sauce yucky and blue cheese a runny mess. Hubby got the Cuban and it was dry and over pressed. Almost burnt and very thin on the meat. I guess the same cook from Facebook apparently wasn't working today. Can't recommend this place to anyone. We were wanting Birra tacos and found this restaurant so we decided try Fusion Street. Upon entering its pretty small just 4 tables and some seating at a bar. There were not busy when we arrived which we thought great! We ordered our drinks, then the service got slow and was definitely lacking. However we ordered our food. Started with chips and salsa and empanadas. Both were really good. Nect we ordered Birra Steak Tacos and elotes. Definitely enjoyed the Birra tacos. Kids ordered the kids meals and it comes with 2 tacos and fries. I'm giving 4 stars because it's kinda of pricey at $4 for each empanada and it was $8 for a cup of sangria and the service was lacking. Otherwise we will be back to enjoy the food. read more

I had been seeing ads for this place on Facebook for months about their bierra tacos but because I work too far away, it is not a place I can go to on Taco Tuesdays. I went on a day off and, if you don't know where it is you will miss it. It would be a shame to miss this place! There's no confusion about this fusion cuisine! They are tofu-tastic and rice to the occasion! We tried the vegan week menu and they brought the flavor party. My husband and have wanted to try this place for a while. We've had such bad luck with Mexican food around here and were hesitant to try another. I follow Fusion Street on social media and see fantastic photos of the food, so last weekend we took the plunge. We were so happy we did! This is definitely going to be our new "go-to" taco/Mexican/fusion spot. We dined in, they have a small eating area and a small bar for people to sit at. We tried a couple of each type of taco (original, street, and birria), as well as the street corn, quesadilla as well as chips and salsa and a couple of empanadas for dessert. The in-house hot sauce was delicious and all of the food items totally exceeded our expectations! We are looking forward to going again and trying some different things. Or maybe getting the box of tacos for takeout, which I think is a great idea. Our server was fantastic! She answered all of our questions and made some great recommendations (I'm sorry I forgot her name but it we came on Saturday evening at about 5:30/6 PM). Been seeing great reviews for this place and its close by so we decided to try it. We went in and were greated by the server. We were the only people there. The lady working was very nice and welcoming and gave us lots of info about the menu. I ordered a burrito. Wife ordered the chicken and rice. We also got the trio dip thing and an order of dessert empanadas. My burrito was decent. The wifes food was good and youbget a huge portion. The dip was cheese, guac, and salsa. All three were pretty good. The only issue we had is we saw a german cockroach walking up the wall and into the ceiling tile. That freaks me out. read more
