This little gem is walking distance from my house! For me, some of the most authentic Mexican food since I moved from San Francisco. I usually get the tacos mixtos with the salsa verde. I sometimes get a hotter salsa but nothing seems to get to that temperature I like. But the beef, chicken and pork are all cooked perfectly and nestled in maize tacos with a bit of onion. Chili rellenos are another hit. I prefer refritos to arroz...sometimes I get their delicious guacamole to add to my tacos. Their Camarones a la Diablo is cooked in a nice spicy red sauce. They don't skimp on the shrimp! I wear my mask when I go for pickup, I enjoyed sitting inside, especially on Friday evenings (if I recall) when they crank the musica up loud and some of the patrons dance! havent been for awhile but I recommend Juli's whenever you feel hungry!

Salsa served with chips. So goood

Omg. Best Mexican restaurant in town. Clean, great service, tasty food! I had the red enchiladas with chicken and cheese. Best taste, texture, flavor explosion. The beans could have been a little hotter but were so flavorful. The horchata was creamy and huge! So much yummy food, I ate it all! Highly recommended to all. Nice surprise in a town with hit or miss Mexican food. Definite hit!

Steak tacos, could be a little more flavorful, the sauce is good and a little spicy

I ordered the enchiladas verdes through the drive through, and steak tacos it was $17. Thought it was a little pricey considering the amount of beans and rice you get which is little. But the chicken enchiladas are amazing and steak tacos are good , the rice was terrible. It has carrots in it and it was hard, it felt like they gave me the scraps from the bottom of the pan of rice. I went on a Monday at noon. So the food should've been fresh. Also no one was wearing masks and that's concerning to some people

My husband and I LOVE julis! The service is quick, the food is fresh, and overall always a great place to stop in Clearwater.

Loved the chicken enchiladas verde dinner with beans and rice.

Authentic and delicious. They made fresh guacamole for us, and service was stellar. Great little place. Not fancy at all, but comfortable. Great menu with a decent beer selection. Will be back. Went back lunch and enjoyed the mix tacos - 3 soft tortillas with different meat and a rice/bean combo. Very flavorful.

Looking for a good taco with no frills.....Julis is your place. Right on Clevland St....you can't miss it. Julis is a traditional tacaria that serves up a great meal. The taste is authnic and delicious....full of flavor. They even have a great Torta, which many Mexican places do not have. The service is quick and friendly. The place could use a little more decoration....but the atmosphere is welcoming. This is my 2nd time here and on this trip, Christmas Eve, I ordered the steak tacos with rice and beans with a side if pico...yummy! You are served chips and salsa before you order....and they keep you filled up. The meal was piping hot and so good....nothing was left! I can't wait to go back again and try some other dishes....until next time Juilis.

Friendly and very clean. Food is authentic. I had the Torta Cubano and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even the French fries were tasty! Already planning the return trip for soup and dinner items.

    First time. Good food.

Menu just changed and it's just lacking, prices went up which I understand with out economy but it isn't worth for what you get.

We were seated as soon as we arrived, and throughout our visit the service was really good. My friend and I were having a very hard time deciding, and when we asked the server, she flat out told us that the two things we were torn between were awesome and we should order both and split them. We got the shrimp and grits and the lobster Benedict. On their own, the grits weren't anything special, although they were texturally great. Now when you add the shrimp and gravy . . . This dish is a whole other deal. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the gravy was super well balances. It had the perfect level of spice. The lobster Benedict had a perfectly poached egg, and it worked so well. The mornay sauce was a lovely touch. I'd definitely order it again, but I would also definitely order the shrimp again. Long story short, our server was right, they were both amazing. I also got a standard Bloody Mary, which was solid. I would definitely go back to this place. It's got an upbeat, family friendly atmosphere, and I think it's a great spot for locals and out of towners alike. It's also well priced. I'd also love to try their beignets or French toast next time. They've also got a huge lunch/dinner menu that I'd definitely want to try if I were in town for longer.

Ambience was like your regular breakfast place or diner, but definitely family friendly. We were there with our 8 month old baby boy and felt comfortable. Food tasted pretty okay, we ordered coconut shrimp, fish n chips and chicken tacos for brunch! The fish was a little undercooked and the batter was still a bit wet inside. Other items were not bad. For drinks, I ordered their popular pomegranate mimosa which came really flat (no bubblies) and in a wine glass! I sent it back and got a mojito instead - which tasted a lot better! Additionally, we were not aware the breakfast menu closes at 12 pm and we were already seated, so kind of felt obligated to order from the lunch menu at around 12.05 pm! It was too early for a sea food lunch for us! We saw the table next to us had ordered breakfast just a few minutes before us but we were denied because it was already past noon. Overall a pretty average experience. I was expecting a little more authentic experience but turned out to be just like your local diner.

Throw in their own special recipe (not out of a box) rice and beans and it's a plate full. And a value too. For American fare, their burgers and fish and chips are tops! We sat outside on the water and it was a little cool but a light jacket made it comfortable. It was a beautiful day! We started with Turkish Coffee, which was delicious! We have no idea how to "read the coffee grounds" HAHA but I can tell you mine looked like a duck and a crooked United States, if that helps anyones premonitions, LOL. We ordered the babaganouj appetizer, which was DELICIOUS!! It comes with pita, but for me, being gluten intolerant I asked for some vegetable. Waiter offered cucumber, but he only gave me 3 tiny pieces....so sad. Whatever, I wasnt going to let it go to waste so I just ate it with a fork. However I would suggest offering a proper portion of sliced cucumbers for your Gluten Free patrons, as a courtesy. I ordered the gluten free Falafel Salad and my son ordered the Yogurt Kebab. Both were very enjoyable! My falafels were moist on the inside with a crisp outer shell, my only suggestion would be to add a little Feta to the salad, wouldve been more interesting than pkind of plain and redundant--especially for just under $20. My son enjoyed his dish, even using the pita to scoop it up. We were so full and brought more than half home. The waiter was very kind and was generous to offer us a complimentary piece of Baklava (we had waited a bit for our food but it wasnt really a big deal--we were enjoying ourselves). Parking is a bit of a challenge because Columbia Rest and Backwaters has Valet that sort of capitalize the parking area-so plan ahead for that. We went at 2pm so it wasnt too difficult but I would guess dinner might be a challenge unless you use their Valet services--but Im only guessing. The restaurant is cute inside, and I saw they had a wine cooler. I think we'll go again and order a bunch of different appetizers and try some Turkish wine. I highly recommend trying Mio's!
