Alright I think we have the new king of serving size for value in Latin bowl, I mean seriously the bowls are huge and for the price you can't beat it. My shredded beef bowl was great , however I do find the beef to be a bit on the tougher side but the sauces and toppings make it work. The shells were the best part, by far. The bowls were average. And the chips and salsa was honestly pretty bad. They tasted like store-bought chips and salsa from a can. I can't say that is actually the case, but it's what we both assumed by the lack of freshness. We also ordered a tamale to share, which was fine. Not terrible, but kind of bland. Decided to try them again. The Yucca Cheese Bites are bland but the cilantro sauce makes them good. The Jalapeño Queso Dip is good & we did get a few chips with it this time. The Chicken Empanada is very good with a crispy shell & very flavorful filling. I did not try the Beef Empanada as we ordered too much food. The Churros(5 )Filled with Dulce de Leche are delicious. The Loaded Tamale was the strangest tamale ive ever seen. The pork was on the side of the tamale. It was more like a corn cake with a slightly sweet dough. The pork with cilantro was very good. The Wrap we ordered with ground beef. They charge an extra $5 for beef & still filled it mostly with rice. That went in trash. This was my attempt to redeem them since our first order wasnt very good. Id say their appetizers are decent . . Their main entrees are just not very good. I wantedto give them another try but I dont think there will be a third. If you do decide to try them, order the Churros(5 )Filled with Dulce de Leche & the Chicken Empanada. "Increible" (that's INCREDIBLE in Spanish) Stopped out of the blue to grab a bite, and was so impressed... it's a cute, tiny little place, 4 tables inside and 4 tables outside on a covered porch. You get your food really fast if you're in a rush, and the bowls are a great pre/post workout meal. Packed with protein and loaded with flavor. Latin Bowl remains my go-to for a quick, easy, affordable, and mostly healthy meal (or two as their bowls are large). There are daily deals that make them even cheaper. I have tried almost everything here. The beef empanadas are incredible when they are fresh. They have that perfect amount of cheesy to crunch ratio. The shell is light and crisp. I also really love the chalupas... mostly for the same reason. The shells are light and airy. They add a lot to every bite. My typical order involves either the chicken rice bowl or the chicken rice salad. They are very similar. You can actually get rice and black beans on your salad. You can get lettuce and spinach in your rice bowl too. I will say that sometimes the ratios are a little off. My last salad had more rice than lettuce. The chicken is good, but honestly the pulled pork is way better. It has a lot of flavor. I order the chicken mostly because I want a leaner meat. The bowls can be ordered in a taco shell at no extra cost! I also REALLY love the yucca bites. I order them with the guava sauce and they are too die for. I have to make myself not order them because I don't want to eat them all. The toppings are vast and amazing. I love the plantains. They are chopped into small bites and add a nice sweetness to your food. I don't love the olives.. I think they are canned. I am a fan of the jalapenos. I normally order most of the toppings. The sauces are extremely flavorful. The lime cilantro is my typical (note: I do not like cilantro.. I do not find it overpowering in the sauce though). I have tried all the sauces and you cannot go wrong. I only really like the guava with the yucca bites. It is a sweeter sauce. I will say the chips and salsa are lacking. The chips are fried on site. They were coming out very inconsistent when I first started going here (with some overcooked and some under). They have since improved a lot. They are normally consistent. The salsa is meh. You normally receive chips and salsa for free with meals. So, I don't complain. I tell them to keep it the majority of the time I order just because I would not eat them anyhow. It does get to be very busy at certain times. They do a lot of online and delivery service orders. They seem to prioritize those above the people inside, which I do not like. Luckily, I normally go during off peak times. Even still, this is one of my favorite places. I would recommend giving them a try. read more

Service: Super nice folks behind the counter. They weren't busy so we could take our time. Food: Awesome, you can pick your meal, toppings and sides. Ok, so a bit of an odd review as I ordered from Texmix.. but I'm 99.9% sure it's the same place as Latin Bowl, like a ghost kitchen type thing (same address and almost the exact same offerings). It was BOGO rice bowls so that's what we did and they were amazing with healthy portions that last 2 meals each. We got the chicken with rice, lettuce, tomato, black beans, cheese with a variety of sauces. I loved the cilantro crema sauce (similar to Bahamas breeze's). It was a bit odd the 2 locations had different bogos but same menu items but whatever. We also ordered the beef empanadas which weren't that great, but not that terrible. Just sorta bland. Not a crazy amount of parking spots available but the service is fast so won't be an issue. The building is highlighted in a muted lime green. There are four picnic tables out front under the patio and seating indoors as well. When you see the menu, it's a build your own bowl kind of deal. You choose between the rice bowl, salad bowl, wrap or chalupas. Then you pick a protein, rice/beans and toppings! I got the rice bowl with no beans, steak (super good), avocado (+$1.00), corn, tomatoes, lettuce and this wonderful guava sauce. That sauce is a must try - so good! Definitely a place I will come back to and they have a good price point as well! It was later yesterday and I needed a quick dinner option. I wanted something other than pizza so within a 3 mile radius of where I was, I found this gem! I wanted to order everything on the menu but opted for their rice bowl w brown rice and chicken. It was very tasty and delicious as the chicken had nice seasoning to it. The remainder of the order was two wraps with one being steak and the other was pulled pork. Hands down the pulled pork was the winner was it was both tender and juicy! I also wanted to try their empanadas so I order one beef and one chicken. Both were winners! They offer a variety of sauces but the highlights were the cilantro creama and guava. OMG their food is amazing and their service is so fast and friendly. We had an order issue one time where we placed & paid for the order online and the restaurant had no record of the order (not sure if it went to another location..?), but they resolved it with no hassle. We're wary of using the online ordering now, so we'll either call ahead or just order in person and never have any issues. We always get our food to go, so I can't speak to the experience of actually eating at the restaurant, but the tables always look clean so I assume it's all good. 10/10 this is our go to restaurant for Latin food. read more
