I have been to P.F. Chang's two times with a friend and both times the food has been excellent. Both times the servers were not only congenial but also professional. And both times we agreed to split our choices. Usually when I go to a restaurant with others and order food for the first time, when I return, I stay safe and order the same thing I ordered originally. But as I was again with my bestie and because separate servings are usually so big for each of us, we both end up with a doggy bag (or overeating). The real problem with a doggy bag is that if you don't go straight home, the food can spoil and ends up getting tossed...and I have a kitty who should not eat people food. Our solution, we agree to split an appetizer and an entree. We cut our bill in half and leave the restaurant with our appetites completely satisfied. But I digress...the food choices have been excellent, and I look forward to our next visit. By the way, we hit a movie before dinner and since P.F. Chang's is around the corner at this mall, it has now become a pairing that we both look forward to. PS: One reviewer mentioned "shot glass" desserts and that sounds like a winner that could help a person to not overindulge. Those should be brought back! read more

Daddy daughter date night found us at P.F. Chang's. So glad to have a reservation to avoid the hour wait. Table and chair was a bit dirty from the last customer, but that was remedied quickly by staff. My daughter wanted Orange chicken which is not on the kids menu, but by her ordering off the full menu means I've got the other half for lunch tomorrow. Our server was on their game and quick to refill our drinks. Restaurant was loud and buzzing with activity, birthday parties, groups seeing one another after the long Covid lockdown. I used to love this restaurant, the service here is declining. Food portion sizes are smaller. The restaurant was empty, the bartender was our server never refilled our drinks. My family and I went to P.F. Chang's today to celebrate my mom's birthday and our server Brittany was OUTSTANDING. So personable and all around just an awesome server. We had a party 12 and she was on top of everything for us. All of our entrees were really good. We had dynamite shrimp, shrimp dumplings and vegetable spring rolls for apps. Our entrees were either orange chicken, chang's chicken, sushi or shrimp fried rice. Everything was fresh, hot and really tasty. My sister didn't really care for the dumplings but I didn't think they were that bad. The sauce with them was really yummy. Overall, we had the best experience and will definitely be back for sure. We haven't stopped by in quite a few years so we decided to give them another try. We were there first thing on a Sunday. We were quickly greeted and seated. The bartender was our waiter and that wasn't a negative. He was quite attentive. For appetizers, we decided to try all three of their dumpling offerings: the Handmade Pork Dumplings, the Handmade Shrimp Dumplings and their new Mongolian Potstickers. They took about 30 minutes to arrive. The Mongolian Potstickers were the only ones that came with a dipping sauce which was an enhanced soy sauce. The other two dumpling dishes arrived sitting in soy sauce. (see pics) We asked for a spice tray which they have none. We were offered some Sriracha sauce and a sweet chili dipping sauce. The Mongolian Potstickers were room temperature and disgusting. They were hard and had a very odd cream cheese filling. Do not get them! The shrimp dumplings had an odd texture and almost no shrimp flavor. Do not get them! The pork dumplings were tasty but because they were sitting in soy sauce. It made them disintegrate upon the end of our chopsticks. Overall, a fail on the appetizers. Upon our waiter/bartender's recommendation, we ordered the $25 Family-Style Platter with their Chang's Spicy Chicken. It was a double portion of chicken with some nice noodles and an unlimited bowl of rice. It was awesome! The chicken was piping hot, tender and tasty. The noodles and rice made it a complete meal. For $25, you can't do better! Despite the sad appetizers, we will definitely be going back for the $25 double portion Family-Style dinner. The server was friendly and helpful. All of the staff picked up dishes and replenished drinks without hesitation. read more

Awe man, so sad to see the disintegration of this place. I remember being in the Dallas location when it first opened, quite the hot spot. Now it's a hot spot for fruit flies and sodium. The place was completely empty at 5pm...my excuse, I have a daughter now who craves the lo -menu noodles. unfortunately she's fighting over them with the fruit flies. I mentioned it to the manager, but he was unfazed. He moved us... expected, but I always feel when something is so disruptive to your meal something more should be offered at least the look of shock, lol. I can't complain about the service. I just love the ambience of this PFChangs. It's a little swanky especially for a mall setting. The service here is impeccable. The mgmt staff is always present as support for the team. It is very much a the atmosphere. Oh, they serve food here also! So flavorful and beautifully presented. The hot and sour soup is always my go to as a starter. I'd love something between the cup and huge bowl. But hey there's always leftovers. I have to have lettuce wraps every visit. I love the revolving selection of cocktails. Some standard classics for me at PFC...Mongolian Beef and Chicken Lettuce Wraps. There are many other great dishes, but I would recommend these for first time visitors if spice is for you, try Kung Pow...chicken or shrimp...also delish! Crab wonton nice app, it is mild crab taste, not too strong, but nice balance with dipping sauce. I have not had a bad dish over the years. I prefer visiting local spots to chain restaurants, but PFC does not disappoint for an Asian flair, sure thing. read more

I love PF Chang's but their Mongolian Beef which I love, is hit or miss, sometimes it's ok and tender, sometimes it's like shoe leather.

Service was excellent. Food was not very good. The Spring Rolls were dripping oil. Awful. The Chicken and Broccoli was blah. The chicken was tender. Broccoli nice and crisp. Asian fusion bistros are a great choice. However, choosing P.F. Chang's on Valentine's Day's was frustrating. We sat at the bar and ordered While awaiting our 8pm reservation. We got the text notification that our table was being prepared at 9:11pm. I don't recommend using the reservation system on this holiday! The lettuce wraps were a good choice. The Korean street noodles were my favorite when I lived in Korea. Here at Chang's they were excellent except for the dry chicken. Spring rolls were tepid and they ran out of pineapple coconut ice cream. Thanks for the complimented dessert. I am not sure if I will return when the restaurant is this overwhelmed. I really like P.F. Chang's in Clearwater. I'm surprised of the low star reviews. I like going in and sitting at the bar. Sam takes such good care of us. She is always quick to say "Hi" and "what can I get ya?". Makes us feel special and we know we're going to have some good food. I ordered the mango iced tea (no sweetener) and hubs gets a big bottle of Fiji water. We always start with a cup of soup and those little crunchy won ton strips. So yummy! Warms us up after a chilly drive in the Jeep. Then for lunch I ordered off menu. Ordered Mongolian Shrimp with fried rice. These little bites of sweet and salty teriyaki / soy are pure gold. They come out crispy and hot and are delish with the fried rice. This is one of my favorite meals at a chain restaurant. Since it is not on menu, they make it fresh and hot and eat almost every single one. We sit at the bar and are served fast. The restaurant is very clean and Sam always makes us feel special. Service is great, cocktail list is awesome. Will usually get a cocktail if we're eating dinner. Not today, but they have a great pour. Really cool cocktails- basic to super fancy and tasty. I wish I could un go here lol THE SERVICE IS TRASH. Like I would love to even get a call back. I want the manager to walk to every single table lol day and ask how everything is going. How could you not with your reviews. I didn't look before coming and I usually do. I trusted you PF CHANGS! Also I was charged for something I didn't receive and I realized it later that night. Don't go and if you do you were warned. This place need a change of staff positions. Some people need to not be working the bar and the bar tables. They can't handle it. I watched 3 people send their food back in the 2 hours I was there. Maybe it's rough out here with servers if so then the manager need to get out there and get their hands dirty. This is 100% manager issue and not staff issue. Every bad review should be directed at management because they let this happen. & I watched half the staff walk around and taste test food with .. new hires? Idk. TRASH! During our trip to Florida, we spent some time in Clearwater. Even though we went shopping in the Westfield Countryside Mall the day before, the next day we made a point of going there specifically to eat at the P.F. Chang restaurant. As soon as we walked through the door, we noticed the hostess standing behind the podium. She appeared to be speaking with another person while wearing a headset. We waited there for a few minutes for her to greet us as she was staring down at something on the podium. She gave the impression of being distracted, moved away briefly, and then returned. We continued to stand there motionless as if no one could see us. My spouse addressed her by saying, "Hello? Are you able to see us? She looked up, immediately apologized, and explained that she had been talking on the phone. My husband responded and said, "Yes, I see that, but at the very least give us the courtesy of acknowledging us." When customers come in, it is preferable to put the individual who is currently on the phone on hold. After settling us into a booth, she handed us the menu for our review. We sat there for about twenty minutes, and not a single person came to bring us water, acknowledge us, or even greet us throughout that time. The restaurant was NOT that busy with the two customers, who were all being attended to by staff members. I suggested to my husband, "Let's go! They are not interested in doing business with us! The hostess observed our departure as we walked out the door. She didn't say a word to either of us! This is the best location to go if you want to be disregarded and have the impression that you are not welcome! This turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we were able to locate another restaurant just a few feet away that was more than happy to accommodate us. Not only did we dine at that restaurant on that particular day, but we continued to do so on a regular basis up until it was time for us to board our flight back home. Ok, I swore I was done with this place but I really wanted Mongolian beef. So, I placed my order... we ordered crab wontons (phenomenal) we also had beef broccoli with brown rice & Mongolian beef with fried rice. Our dinners were good but the portion sizes are so small for the prices these days. I understand things are going up. I understand inflation but.... The container was only half full & I paid $28 for this!! The beef broccoli was just as small except the rice was at least full. Funny thing, we paid $4.50 extra for fried rice and received half the portion of the included brown rice.... My only complaint on our dinner is that I paid inflated prices for child size portions. We waited a good 5 minutes before the manager greeted us with menus. We sat at the bar area. Drinks - I ordered a soda water and my hubs ordered a Bloody Mary. Let's talk about that Bloody Mary. Regular Bloody Mary in a pint glass. Nothing special. $10.25. Wow - really? The drink cost more than each appetizer?! Apps - We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and salt and pepper calamari. The portion sizes were so small. The lettuce was wilted and I had to ask for a second portion. The calamari was really bland. We made our own special sauce. The waitress seemed preoccupied and didn't really pay us any attention. I won't forget this experience and unfortunately now I understand why the restaurant was empty. I was going to give it four stars but my husband got diarrhea the next morning and he had the sweet and sour chicken, which was plentiful and tasty. I had a lo mein with chicken. It was tasty but skimpy on the chicken. Also they want you to use your app on the phone for the menu. They give you a paper menu for the drinks and tell you to use the QR code on it for the food. It is much easier to read a paper menu, then one on your phone I wish they would drop that policy. We had to wait for our waiter to even come to the table, let alone get the menu itself. We have no plans on returning. read more
