Stopped by today just to pick up some Pork Fried Rice and Eggdrop Soup. This to go with some Pork Dumplings my daughter brought over. My wife has a bad cold and that's what she asked me to get. Usually it would have our favorites - General Tso Chicken and Moo Goo Gai Pan but only three of us and didn't want a lot of leftovers because we're going on a trip soon. GROSS! This is some of the worst fake Chinese food I have ever tasted! Sesame Chicken: nasty - all batter and drenched in some weird sweet sauce with a few sesame seeds tossed on top - inedible. Sweet and Sour Pork: saturated with cheap cooking oil and served with canned sweet and sour sauce on the side - so gross! Wonton Soup: No way they made this in-house; nasty after-taste and just inedible! Stay away from this place. UPDATE: Food Poisoning after 24 hours. The fried rice was tasty with the sauce. I ordered a shrimp roll instead of pork egg, and it was fresh tasting but COLD in the center ‍. The young man working the front was super polite & super kind as he took our orders. I asked for Szechuan Shrimp, & our orders arrived fast, giving off a heated trail of condensed steam as we whisked them to our table from the order counter. The veggies were extra fresh & cooked perfectly. The sauce was tasty & unique. And the portion size was large for a lunch combo. Traditional Jewish Christmas - movies and Chinese food. A friend told me this was their go to Chinese take out. I figured why not try it on Christmas. We called in an order for pick up. 25 minutes later we had good wonton soup, authentic egg rolls stuffed with good stuff. We loved the house special fried rice, the dragon and Phoenix as well as the kung Po triple. I think this will be our new go to Chinese place only 3 miles from us. This is literally the worst Chinese food I have ever been served. The beef in the beef and broccoli is more like marinated fat strips and the rice tastes like it was made last week. I've gotten take out here about five times and it's been consistently inedible. I will say the egg rolls are decent but all they have to do id deep fry them. read more

I visited Anytime Fitness right next to this Chinese takeout joint. During my workout, all I could think about was Chinese food. Not much slows me down, but the offer of Chinese food or Italian food will usually do the trick. My workout was short because of my Chinese food fantasy. Despite China King being right there, I was still considering China Taste. It was a five-minute drive but I had eaten it before and it was borderline addictive. But I went with the King due to proximity. I walked in and found a spotless establishment and a smiling family ready to take my order. I ordered Wonton Soup and Roast Pork Lo Mein with no vegetables. I like vegetables, but not with Lo Mein. To me, that's being bad and good at the same time. If you're going to be bad, be bad. And vice versa. The Wonton Soup made me think: "What! What! What!" I ate the entire quart in one sitting. This led to high expectations for the Roast Pork Lo Mein. In fact, I looked down at the Roast Pork Lo Mein and thought (but did not say): I have high expectations for you. You really should never have high expectations. For example, the first time I watched The Matrix, I was disappointed because of all the hype. Three years later, I watched it again with low expectations and loved it. You probably know where this is going. The Roast Pork Lo Mein was good, but I didn't think it was great. It tasted ... light. I don't mean it hit my belly light. Lo Mein is heavy. I mean its taste was light. I don't know how else to explain it. In conclusion, if you ever find yourself in Oldsmar Florida and love Wonton Soup, go with China King. If you love all kinds of dishes, maybe try China Taste. And if by some miracle you have never seen The Matrix, it's okay. :) I just helped you out in more ways than one. read more

I am new to the area and looking for NYC style Chinese food...this was definitely NOT it. General Tso Chicken was not crispy it was more slimy and had this very strong after taste...super suspect. Roast Pork Fried Rice was very very yellow and tasted as if it sat for many days and it also had a very weird after taste. The roast pork in the rice was a shade of grey. This is top tier Chinese takeout! It never misses every time I order. I usually get the shrimp egg rolls and general Tso's tofu. The portions are very generous and the quality is always good. My partner orders the vegetable Lo Mein and also almost always have leftovers. As someone who keeps coming back, I definitely recommend for takeout! read more

Hot/sour soup/Fried rice/Hunan Chicken/Szechuan Beef/Egg foo young and the egg rolls are unbelievable. They are not greasy, they are fresh and crunchy, every.single.time! Clean place, Fair prices and a good meal. I got the Mongolian Beef. It was good, however it was all spice and No Sweet. Mongolian Beef is usually cooked with brown sugar, soy sauce and pepper flakes.
