Drunken Noodles
Kia R.

This a cute Thai place right here in oldsmar. The food comes out PIPING HOT!! I've also been for lunch and they portion enough food to take home leftovers We ordered the spring rolls, chicken satay, and the crab Rangoon. All so delicious and fresh! The crab rangoons were so creamy! I ordered the whole snapper and baby did they serve! The garlic sauce was delicious and it came with a side of rice. The table had a variety of curries and pad Thai. The servers were so kind and attentive with us. They have seating for about 30-40 people inside. There's parking in the front, but also in the back of the store. Will definitely be back again.

Intimate place that maybe seats 40. We started with Thai Iced Coffee for Hubster and I opted for hot Jasmine tea. (Was also offered green). Hubster ordered his favorite dish, Drunken Noodles with Beef and I finally settled on Panang Curry with Chicken. I was stuck trying to decide among mussamun, panang, or amazing. As we waited, they seemed to have a brisk takeout business, which is nice. They also have an extensive sushi menu and a small wine list. Hubster described his food as "great flavor and filling". My curry was delicious. Lots of red and green peppers and zucchini chunks. Lots of leftover sauce, too if you wanted to order extra rice and take it home. We opted to skip dessert this time, but we will definitely be back and next time I'm trying the Mussamun curry!

Amazing food and service! My partner and I shared the crab rangoon for an appetizer. It was crisped to perfection and the curry inside adds so much depth in flavor. The sushi was extremely fresh and my pad thai was excellent. This will be our new go-to spot for Thai food. Our server was also prompt, friendly, and helpful.

Wonderful service! Came in on a Friday evening with NO reservation set. Party of 5 - prompt / accurate service. Friendly & professional. Definitely recommending to family & friends. Love the fried bananas - coconut ice cream & Thai Donuts ... Fried rice is good / fish is fried to perfection. Overall a solid 5 stars in a must. Our server was " Mary " & she been only working there newly a few months. Say-te Chicken is as yummy... All the sushi was fresh and made perfectly. Hot sake available. Completely satisfied with our dine in birthday celebration experience.

Massaman Curry

Visiting from NY and this place was super close to our hotel so we decided to try it out. The food was honestly spectacular. I had the Tom kha soup, absolutely amazing. It's hard to get the perfect balance from the lime taste/coconut milk/spicy but they really hit the nail on the head. The massaman curry was also perfect. My friend had the yum shrimp and said it was the best she ever had. The portion sizes are huge and the prices are great. The service was prompt and courteous and the restaurant is very cute. Definitely a must try.

Pad See Ew with chicken is great! $14

Came here due to the Yelp reviews and was very happy with my meal. My Thai go to dish is Pas See Ew and this one was fantastic! Got my heat level at medium and it wasn't really spicy at all, but still delicious. A lot of flavor in the dish and a good portion too! I got mine to go, the restaurant inside is small and has limited seating. Would go again!

Chopstick for reference. Very tiny chicken pieces.

Review is specifically for Pad Thai I ordered the pad Thai to go. Priced slightly on the high side, but I guess any dinner is. When I opened my meal at home, I was quite surprised. I am a huge Pad Thai fan- it's my go to at any Thai restaurant. This Serving barely look like Pad Thai visually. There were only a few sprouts, no peanuts, and the chicken pieces were few and tiny. The most underwhelming Pad Thai I've had, in this entire Tampa Bay area. You get a lot of noodles for $13. In all fairness, I have not tried any other dishes from this restaurant. But my recommendation is skip the Pad Thai or lower your expectations.

Decor

Located in a strip mall in Oldsmar, this Thai restaurant was beautifully decorated. There's parking in front and more in back. We went in on a Thursday and it's a smaller place with tables available. We were sat right away. We started with the spring rolls and crab rangoon. The rangoon was very good, I was not a fan of the spring rolls they were deep fried and I expected something more light. I had the Amazing chicken which has peanut sauce. It had good flavor but it wasn't my favorite, but you do get a huge portion and I had to take half home. My friend had the chicken fried rice which was also a large portion and she said it was very good. Our server was great though. Very sweet and helpful.

In the mood for Thai and decided to try Pacific Thai. We looked at several but with time constraints due to planned visits to daughter in hospital, famished for Thai, and a friend in rehab with a broken ankle. We were greeted and seated immediately, about 1:15 on a Saturday afternoon. My wife decided on the Cashew Nut Chicken and I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice Shrimp. Hers spicy and mine 'Thai hot.' We were brought Chicken Rice Soup that was delicious and had much more chicken than others we've been served. Along with small egg rolls that were tasty. Our meals came quickly. A fair portion but not as much as expected. The meals were very tasty but kind of bland. Especially since I specifically asked for Thai Hot and it was barely warm. I know some people ask for hot and don't really mean it, but Thai hot should have been a clue. If we were not pressed for time I would have asked for extra spices. We will try it again and ask for spices ahead. We did get Pineapple Fried Rice Chicken for my daughter and she demolished it!

Combination Pad Thai - chicken, pork, beef
Rachel M.

This is our second time at Pacific Thai Cuisine so that means we definitely like it. There's so many Thai places nearby in Oldsmar, Clearwater, Dunedin, & Palm Harbor. This restaurant still maintains its great average reviews for a great reason. We come here and they are very friendly and welcoming. They are very helpful and consistent. And their food is huge and flavorful. We r hooked on the same things because we know we like it here. That is the pad Thai which is great with all meats. The sauce is good. It has quite a bit of meat and sprouts and egg and it's not just plain noodles. I get the crispy duck with pineapple and lychee and love the combination. It's such a huge serving and is so good with white rice. We get the summer rolls and spring rolls for apps and all is just great!!! Definitely a great Thai option. Tables are nice and private. Everyone has masks on and that makes me feel better too!

The worst sushi I've ever had at a restaurant. It was like the sushi chef didn't know how to make sushi.

As having a very seasoned pallet and being a chef myself, I was blown away. Mom and pop feels up and down throughout the whole menu and experience. When I lived in Virginia if anyone has ever been to the Fairfax-Annandale area you know how heavily populated with AUTHENTIC Asian cuisine, as to where I have personally gotten some of my personal recipes from. As soon as I tasted the food I was brought back to authentic cuisine I could feel the love and warmth in every bite. Tom kha was the best I ever had the balance of flavor was beautifully executed! Basil fried rice...... the rice sauce is to die for!! I finished it by myself before the rest of my family could try it! Great balance of flavors and it never felt "dry" like most of your fried rice usually tastes. Panag curry was average in flavor hit all the marks of your typical curries will probably try the amazing on my next visit. We also had the fresh rolls sweet and sour was average but peanut sauce was amazing feels home made but was my favorite. Pad Thai was DESTROYED by my wife before I could even try it but by the remnants on her plate I was intrigued. The Thai tea was by far one of the best I've had in this area I had a sip before my wife finished it before we were half way home. Overall I will be back! 10/10

You order at a kiosk right as you walk in, which admittedly was the only negative here as it just backed up the entry way when you had two large groups trying to order at once. But there was ample seating beyond the entry for both small and large groups I ended up doing the build your own poke bowl, opting for tuna, salmon, onions, cucumbers, scallions, seaweed, and poke sauce. Everything was nice and fresh, and the portion size was about what I'd expect for the price. My friend got the classic ramen which she said was quite tasty, plus one of the boba teas. We both agreed that we'd easily come back to this place! If you can't find parking in front, there's actually a fairly large lot behind the building that still has plenty of spaces even with the busier Mother's Day rush.

Tried both pho and poke bowls, two of the main signature options, and they do not disappoint! The…read moreprice is on the higher side, but the flavors are complete and authentic. The restaurant is a simple setup with tables and booths, nothing fancy but functional. There's no one taking your food order; it's all done by the tablet when you walk in, as a self-service. The surroundings are unassuming but don't let that throw you. It adds to the charm. You're not there for the decor or work for Architectural Digest. You're there for the food. In hindsight, I hope they don't change a thing. The noodles were excellent. The won ton soup isn't the typical you've had at 1000 other places. The cashew chicken was bountiful and flavorful. Small touches like the carrot shaped like a blooming flower and sushi served on a wooden boat. Portions are generous. Service was well timed and with a warm gentle smile. Our new fave restaurant. We tried to wait but our food was getting cold while waiting for others goods. If it's not all ready at the same time, it should stay in the kitchen til it is. How did it taste?
